Room is small, unclean, lift is very old

The price was not the same as listed on Booking.com. Because our flight arrived at night and we checked in late, they charged us an extra 25 euros—a fee that was not mentioned anywhere. Furthermore, although air conditioning was listed as an amenity when we booked, we were charged 8 euros per day to use the unit in our room; effectively, we ended up paying an additional fee for the entire duration of our stay.

The person in charge (Sabino) was very friendly, gave clear instructions about how to access the room, as there were multiple locked doors on the way. He answered all the questions we had, and gave us a lot of tips, how to access certain areas of Rome, where the closest supermarket is, recommended a very nice restaurant, warned us about pickpockets in crowded areas etc.

I realize you cannot expect anything wow considering the price of the room and we were okay with the size and comfort of things, but one thing that really bothered us was the very thin walls. You could easily hear any noise coming from the room next to you or if someone is walking in the hallway, especially at night where things usually quiet down, so if you happen to have other guests which do not care about it as much, or if there happen to be any kids, be prepared for a louder environment.

Il titolare è stato fantastico, davvero disponibilissimo su tutto: orari, deposito bagagli, check-in anticipato... non ci ha fatto mancare niente. Persona gentile, calorosa, di quelle che ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio. Altra nota positiva: la pulizia, pazzesca, soprattutto in bagno, tutto impeccabile.

L'alloggio non è nuovissimo, esternamente palazzo storico vecchio e internamente stanze non moderne. E la zona non è proprio a due passi da Termini, ma poco male: la metro è vicinissima e ci si sposta comunque senza problemi.

Sabino the owner is extremely helpful and the room itself is fairly large. It is walking distance to the colosseum and has a supermarket very close by.

The location of the property is probably not the best for families. It at times felt a little unsafe. Lots of men hanging around the streets and they were not particularly friendly. The elevator is a tight squeeze with luggage, but for an older building probably lucky it even has an elevator.

La habitación un poco vieja.

Es sencillo, con buena ubicación y limpio. Sabino el encargado es muy servicial. Hay elementos para comer y una mesa de uso compartido.

La heladera no enfriaaba y el aire acondicionado es de pago.

Accueil très sympathique

Great place, very clean and well kept. Sabino was awesome.

La habitación es amplia, comoda y limpia. Si bien el aire acondicionado es de pago, para nosotros, que fuimos en Junio, no fue necesari ya que abriendo la ventana se estaba muy bien. La ubicación es perfecta a 10 min de la estación Termini en un barrio que parece descuidado pero lo notamos bastante seguro.

Muy bien ubicado, cerca de la Estación, bien conectado con paradas de buses y metros. Sabino nos recibió muy bien, muy atento. El lugar muy limpio y cómodo.

El frigobar que estaba en la habitación no funcionaba y con el calor era necesario 🙁

Estuvo muy bien, súper céntrico todo, los anfitriones súper amables, nos indicaron cómo llegar a los lugares que queríamos conocer. Super recomendados.

Está súper bien comunicado, a15 min de Terminicaminando,la atención de Sabino es excelente.

It’s a room in the apartment which belongs to the owner living’s on the ground floor. He is available 24/7. There’s tea and a kettle in the corridor. Lift is tiny but working.

Air conditioner and fridge should be paid extra. But we kept windows closed during the day and used mechanical ceiling ventilator and it was absolutely enough under +32C. The area feels not nice but nothing bad happened in 2 days we stayed there. Be attentive: Google map may lead you around the station via a terrifying area with homeless and terrible road for your suitcase. The station is go-through, so you can go out so that it will take you 5-7min only, not 15-30, and on a better road for walking with a suitcase! Be attentive to find namely your transfer bus to the airport: Ciampino and Fumicino require different buses!!!

Muy amplias y cómodas las habitaciones, muy buena limpieza, la atención del señor Sabino, excelente, nos dió indicaciones de qué hacer en Roma y cómo llegar a cada lugar. Ubicación con transporte cerca.

Cama confortavel e quarto limpo

Chegamos apos as 20hs e o host aumentou o valor de 95 para 107 euros e disse que eu precisava pagar no dinheiro. Que poderiamos sair na rua para procurar um caixa eletronico. Apesar de ter feito a reserva no booking e ter a informacao do pagamento no cartao. O lugar é estranho, nao muito bem localizado. Nao recomendo.

The location is very convenient, right next to the train station. Many major attractions are nearby, and almost everything can be reached on foot or by metro. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained.

Rome is quite expensive—at this price, you can find much better value in many other places. 😀

We didn't have any previous experience staying in a hostel. We picked up this one for a one-night stay near the Termini before heading back home. It's not a hotel per say, but it served the purpose for us. It was clean and quiet, with private bathroom and shower. The host was great explaining things to us.

Not easy to find. Don't look for any external signs with the name, just look at the building numbers to find the right door.

We , mijn zoon en ik hebben heerlijke week gehad in Rome. We hadden een hele meedenkende vriendelijke gastheer. Ieder vraag werd beantwoord met aanvullende kennis en het delen van de mogelijkheden van de stad. Wat voor ons een plus dat we alle spullen altijd kunnen laten staan, ook op de dag van vertrek. Hij adviseerde ons naar supermarkten en bijvoorbeeld naar een restaurant.

La habitación era amplia y era un lugar tranquilo. Es cómodo estar cerca de Roma Termini si llegas en tren o en avion desde FCO. El wifi andaba bien.

El barrio no es muy lindo de noche.

Excelente elección. Fuimos por recomendación de un conocido y lo recomendamos nosotros también. Sabino es super amable! Cuando tuvimos un problema, enseguida se ofreció a ayudar. También nos brindó información sobre qué lugares conocer y cómo llegar. El hostal estaba impecable, limpio, prolijo! La habitación era muy amplia y cómoda. La zona es muy buena también. Nos manejamos siempre caminado, estaba todo relativamente cerca, no mas de 40/50 de caminata hasta los lugares mas lejanos. 10 de 10!

The place is clean and located near Roma Termini station. The owner lives in the same property and he is friendly. Tea and instant coffee are provided at the property.

La posizione del posto non è male perché si riesce a raggiungere tutte le piu grandi attrazioni in circa 20 minuti di passeggiata. Il personale è stato sufficientemente cortese e ci ha anche fornito delle mappe per capire come muoverci a piedi e altre info utili sulla città.

Il posto lo avevo trovato su maps con la siglia "B&B" per poi scoprire una volta arrivati lì che non ci sarebbe stata la colazione. Il proprietario ci ha informati che era stato scritto sulla descrizione di Booking che sarebbe mancata la colazione. Probabilmente mi era scappata tale info (quindi mi assumo la responsabilità di questo errore), ma visto che sia su maps che su TripAdvisor si definisce B&B, sono rimasto parecchio basito. Una volta entrati in stanza, abbiamo notato che nonostante avessimo le giacche ancora addosso, comunque stavamo patendo il freddo. Tutto questo era dovuto al fatto che la finestra era piena di spifferi (rumorossimi, per fortuna avevamo i tappi per le orecchie) che facevano entrare un sacco di aria, a causa del forte vento di quei giorni. Sono andato a chiedere il telecomando per il condizionatore/riscaldamento, mi è stato risposto che non era incluso nel pagamento, ma c'era un supplemento da versare (che non abbiamo dato). Per non parlare del bagno senza finestra e senza aspiratore (quindi l'umidità della doccia, rimane là). Parlando di doccia, abbiamo raggiunto l'apice, visto che il piatto doccia presentava ancora dei peli dei clienti precedenti, e come sapone c'era un flacone da 0.5lt già mezzo finito, con peli/capelli attaccati al tappo. La posizione del posto è buona solo di giorno, perché la notte (essendo non troppo distanti dalla stazione e da un parco) ho avuto seriamente paura, perché è pieno di "venditori di sostanze illecite" e senzatetto poco rassicuranti. Se tornerò a Roma, sicuro andrò da un'altra parte.

Locatie foarte buna, aproape de statia de metrou Victor Emmanuel si de gara Roma Termini, unde ajung si autobuzele de la cele 2 aeroporturi. Este un loc de cazare curat, pat confortabil, baia OK. Lift functional. Gazda - Sabino - foarte amabila, ne-a dat toate informatiile cerute. Multumim Sabino!

All was clean and organized.

Safe, clean, large bed, host gave us naps and explained where food, sightseeing popular places, and how to get to metro. Our host cleaned the bathroom each day plus he watched our luggage yesterday while we went to Coliseum tour. He did that for 5 euros.

L''acceuil était parfait et sympathique. Renseignements divers et cartes pour de belles visites de Rome.

Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de service pour le petit déjeuner même si la cafétéria indiqué e est super. Mettre une bouilloire dans la chambre avec sachets de thé, café, tisanes serait une bonne idée. Prévoir une petite bouteille d'eau pour l'arrivée.

Sabino est un hôte très à l'écoute et a su nous conseiller et nous indiquer de bons plans pour visiter ou se restaurer. Le logement est très bien placé, proche de tout transport et certains sites. La résidence est sécurisée et calme la nuit, nous avons très bien dormi. Merci Sabino pour tout !

Ottima esperienza! Camera pulita, ambiente tranquillo e ben curato. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Posizione molto comoda.

La ubicación es excelente, cerca a todo, encuentra donde comer cuando llegas cansado, te puedes preparar tu desayuno, todo perfecto. El anfitrión de lo mejor, una magnífica persona, te recomienda rutas, transporte y que donde comer, asimismo si tienes algun contratiempo te dice como buscarlo en su casa. Gracias amigo.

Muito bem localizado, perto de supermercado, estação de metro e trem .. pode ir a pé para o Coliseu, proprietários são um casal brasileira e italiano muito simpáticos e sempre presentes no local todas as manhas, quarto limpo e cama confortável.

Very nice apartment for short vocation.

O proprietário é muito gentil e o hotel fica perto de bons restaurantes, gelaterias etc.

O bairro sujo e perigoso. Não recomendo de sair após 20h . O quarto é meio umido, pois não tem aquecedor no banheiro privado.

La posizione è ottima per la vicinanza a Termini e a Vittorio Emanuele, con fermate anesse della metro. Anche a piedi si raggiunge il colosseo in 25 minuti.

Unica nota che la zona sembrava un pò degradata, però il resto era pieno di locali e a prezzi accessibili

Pavisam četri nelieli numuri atrodas dzīvokļu ēkas trešajā stāvā, pēc visa spriežot dzīvoklis pārbūvēts par četrām guļamistabām ar sanitārajiem mezgliem. Ēkas lokācija nav slikta, netālu vilcienu stacija un metro. Naktī ārā trokšņains. Pašā, tā saucamajā viesnīcā skaņas izolācijas nav, dzirdami trokšņi no blakus istabām un ārpuses. Numurs gan ir tīrs. Rēķinaties, ka dvieļi llīdz rītam neizkaltīs, būs tādī paši kādus atstājāt vakarā, jo nav dvieļu žāvētāja, radiators pa nakti tiek atslēgts (janvāris 26-30, gaisa temperatūra +12-+3). Ledusskapis nestrādā. Ja slapju dvieli no rīta atstāsiet uz grīdas, saimnieks vai pārvaldnieks Sabino to paņems, taču vietā nenoliks sausu dvieli, būs pašam jāiet uz pieliekamo vai blakus brīvo numuru, ja noveiksies, paņemsiet sausu dvieli. Tējkanna ir tikai viena uz četriem numuriem, stāv improvizētajā recepcijā, var gadīties, ka būs jāgaida rindā, pie tam tējkannai ir jāstāv klāt līdz ūdens uzvārās, jo tā atslēdzas no vārīšanās procesa reizes četras, piecas. Sabino informēja, ka tā nav sabojāta, bet gan speciāla tējkanna. Secinājumi, ja Jums mērķis ir tikai pārgulēt, jūs netraucē trokšņi, jums nevajag mazgāties vai patīk slaucīties slapjos dvieļos, no rīta nevajag karstu kafiju un Jūs apmierina Sabino pasakas, tā vieta ir domāta tieši Jums, baudiet to! Noteikti iesaku pameklēt alternatīvu variantu. Izrādās ir atpalikušākas vietas par Latviju.

Il fatto che fosse in un punto strategico in modo da spostarsi facilmente, l'accoglienza del proprietario e che fosse un ambiente tranquillo.

Atendimento super solícito e simpático, bastante disponível para dúvidas. O prédio é bom e bem próximo à estação Termini. Camas confortáveis.

O bairro não é tão limpo e agradável como nas zonas mais turísticas, mas serviu bem para a última noite em Roma.
