Que el servicio de Alberca no funcionaba. Y ofrecen playa y alberca y se descompuso. QUEDARON MUY FORMAL EN REENBOLSAR UN PORCENTAJE Y HASTA LA FECHA NO LO HAN ECHO.

Personal atento, limpieza de lo mejor, lugar para olvidarte de la rutina muy tranquilo. la playa en la que está ubicada una de las mejores de Ixtapa

El hotel es pequeño. Está bien equipado. Suites con cocineta. Tiene restaurante y alberca. Salida a la calle x arriba y por abajo a la playa. Personal muy amable. Barrio lindo y tranquilo. Cerca de restaurantes, del centro, de vendedores de artesanías. Mejoró mucho este bello pueblo mágico. Hace mucho que no regresaba. El hotel tiene una vista fantastica a la bahía Maderas. Recomendable. Volveré.

No apto para silla de ruedas o personas con movilidad reducida porque hay muchos escalones.

El restaurante esta bien y a precios razonables. La ubicación me gusta mucho por que la playa la madera es bonita y tranquila y esta cerca del centro de Zihuatanejo. En general es muy buen lugar para descansar y disfrutar del mar. También me gusta que las suites tienen una cocineta bien equipada por si quieres tener tus bebidas y algo de comer ahí en tu suite

Las almohadas no son tan cómodas, tal vez eso sea lo único que no me gustó

La ubicación y lo hermoso de la vista, a pesar de que mi habitación no tenía vista al mar me encanto que a unos pasos podía acceder a la alberca y al mirador, tiene acceso libre a la playa a toda hora y conecta perfectamente con el malecón

Podrían dejar aditamentos básicos para preparar un cafe en la habitación

Lo cerca. La playa, y que también tenga restaurante ahí cerca.

Cuando nos hospedamos, estaban reparando la alberca, no nos tocó usarla desafortunadamente. Pero entendemos que no es culpa de nadie, nos tocó en un mal día.

Der Strand war sehr schön und auf das Meer am besten sucht man sich ein anderes Hotel das nicht am Berg anliegt.

Die Fotos stimmen mit dem Hotel nicht überein es gibt kein romantisches Restaurant das ist ganz normal und es gibt nur Sex wegen die ständig besetzt sind in der Beschreibung steht dass sie einen Grill haben ich habe nie einen Grill gesehen und auch die Fotos sind so gemacht dass man denkt man hat eine Terrasse oder ein gescheites Fenster. Geeignet und auch für ältere Menschen nicht vom Hoteleingang ein gang bis runter zum Strand.

The location was great being on the beach. Nice small pool area with a view of the beach from the pool. The staff were great and helpful. We had a room with kitchen inside which had everything you need.

The room needs better room darkening blinds and is not very sound proof. The steps are steep from the road to the rooms and down to the beach. They could use more lounge chairs at the beach as there were only 8 so they filled up very early in the morning.

I really like the location and the area were was located.

I don't think there is nothing I didn't like I wish I would of stay more days in there.

The location is great, the rooms are cute and picturesque. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and great aircon.

The fact that is no very practical, there should be a warning about the accessibility to the rooms particularly for older people and judging from what I saw, the majority of their guests are elderly people who struggle to go up and down the stairs, so perhaps they should make clear that they don’t have elevators and there are lots of stairs.

La alberca y la cercania con la playa son inmejorables, además del trato del personal es muy bueno.

Abrir el cuarto resultaba complicado pues necesita mantenimiento la chapa; por lo demás, tobo muy bien.

The rooms were great, each offering their own mini split systems. We booked the hot tub room and loved the view, the kitchenette and the feel of the room.

I do wish for better lighting in the room, I ended up applying my makeup outside (not a terrible view!) but it was HOT and I was sweaty. I would’ve loved to have been able to do that indoors 🙂

La cocina, tener utensilios para la cocina y refrigerador hicieron que la estancia fuera mejor. Además de que había limpieza cada día. Me gustó que enfrente hay abarrotes para comprar lo necesario.

Las fotos que están en la página no corresponden a todos los cuartos. El jacuzzi es exclusivo de solo una habitación, cada habitación tiene su precio. Tenía hormigas todos los días, a pesar de la lumpieza. Solo hay escalones, la alberca abre tarde (9am) ya que a esa hora ya hacía bastante calor. No hay microondas en algunas habitaciones.

It was a mixed bag, to be quite honest. The hovel that the management stuck me in for the first four nights was awful. However, after I was upgraded to the room just above the pool, things changed decidedly for the better. The pool is lovely, although it closes a bit early at 7pm most nights... Additionally pleasant is the fact that the hotel is so close to Madera Beach, which is perfect for morning and evening swims.

I absolutely thought that the housekeeping staff was malevolent, waking most guests up before 8am with nearly uproarious noise. They should be replaced by Roombas. One can immediately identify a true four-star hotel by how its maid-staff respects its clients' quietude and privacy and Arena is not a four-star hotel. That said, the front desk staff (particularly Gloria) was friendly and accommodating, and the Maderas restaurant waiters (especially Abel) were outstanding -- very amicable and endearing.

I can't say enough about the experience all top notch..5 Stars.. Impeccable service and accomodations ! I will stay nowhere else in Zihuatanejo...I love it..And with all the upgrades...It's an unforgettable to place to stay ! .5s

My stay at Arena Suites was nothing short of great. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family, but the two things that truly set this place apart are its unbeatable location and the incredible hospitality of the staff. The hotel is just a few steps away from Playa La Madera and a 10 minute cab drive to Playa La Ropa. We loved being able to wake up and walk to the beach for a morning swim in less than a minute. It's also perfectly situated to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants along the beach and in the neighborhood. While it feels like a peaceful, secluded paradise, it's also just a quick and easy taxi ride or walk along the coast into the heart of El Centro for more shopping and dining. Their warmth and genuine kindness are the heart of this hotel. The Location was great, the staff was very helpful and informative concerned about my cane, they gave me alternative route to visit downtown. Restaurant was delicious and staff was great. Would love to go again.

Too much walking for me personally to get to the other side of the beach, but well worth the trip. The walk is beautiful and stores to purchase along the side. I have gone to Ixtapa and I did more in Zihuantanejo in one day than 4 days in Ixtapa.

Cuarto grande, terraza enorme, cocina, sala para ver tv, amaca. Bien ubicado frente al mar, con buen restaurante en el hotel y muchas opciones cerca. La amplitud lo hizo ideal para pasar unas vacaciones leyendo y con tormentas intermitentes

Zona populosa, no hay privacía, se oye la gente en recepción

I absolutely loved staying at the hotel with its stunning ocean view! It was just a few steps away from the sandy beach, making it so easy to enjoy those sun-soaked days by the water. Plus, the nearby pier was perfect for leisurely strolls, and there were plenty of delicious food options and restaurants right around the corner. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise!

We used the kitchen, but there was no soap, and the shampoo dispenser would not work.

Love the location. Unfortunately, we had a couple of noisy neighbors a couple of nights. They do need to replace the mattress.

Best place to stay. Steps from the beach. All staff great. Good restaurant on premise. Kitchens we use for buying fresh fish right at the pier. Good Mercado in town, or go to Soriana supermarket. Good beaches, local cabs are less than $5.

I had room 2 and it was great! Given the price and the view of the sea from the kitchen and deck outside the room, I felt that it was a great value and wished I had stayed more nights. I will be back the next time I am in Zihua. I had to do some work while I was there and the wifi is fantastic. Added bonus: The deck outside the room is a great place to launch a drone to take nice pictures of the sea.

Well, I was trying to think of something I didn't like about the hotel, and I guess the only thing is that you have to pass through the restaurant to get to the beach, and the waitstaff at the restaurant can be a little pushy trying to get you to sit down and eat. They really shouldn't bother hotel guests like that who are just passing through. ...but I'm not sure this is the hotel's fault. I understand that the restaurant is under new management so I'm not certain it is even connected to the hotel anymore. But if it is... the restaurant staff should be elegant and helpful rather than pushy.

Absolutely excellent stay! We came with a group of friends and family and everything was so nice. The gentleman at the front desk, Ricardo, he was so very helpful and answered many questions for us. Very good service.

The shower water didn't seem to get very hot, but, it maybe I didn't run it long enough. I wish the kitchen had a microwave. None of these things take away from the experience I had though, it was wonderful.

Very nice property on Beautiful Madera Beach. Great location for walking the boardwalk into downtown Zihuatanejo and surrounded with numerous places to dine. Property was very clean and well maintained. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing to note for people with mobility issues is all the stairs from street level to beach level to all the suites.

Recommend close to other good restaurants and the Central Area beautiful walk along the ocean nice staff at the restaurant Riverdale and desk helpful ordered me a taxi to go back to the airport carried up my luggage just enjoy

Our room was great, but room number 8 is hard sometimes with noise right next to the restaurant.

The location couldn't be better. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The place was spotless. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night.

We had a great stay, room was comfortable. Great location, walkable to the malecon / centro. awesome staff; very pleasant & helpful, especially Ricardo. Restaurant was convenient, though lacked in service for our experience. There's lots of stairs, so the constant up n' down can take a toll. Overall, we do recommend this hotel and would return.

Website photos were deceiving. Exterior door was sliding door made of glass. Only exit/ entrance hallway was right near windows and doors. You could hear any one talkng as they passed by. Pool very small.only access was steep, long stairs.

Ricardo at the front desk was very helpful. The rest of the staff were very nice. Our room was comfortable and the pool was great.

We booked it for the location and view but will return for the staff. From our being received , to our bags being delivered to our room and the restaurant staff that first meal, we felt special. The location is perfect!

The bathroom tile was tired and looked dirty although I’m sure it was only stained grout.

The staff, maid, front desk and restaurant staff were all excellent! The bathroom in Room 7 should be updated.

The staff where great and very good location. They restaurant Madera's right next to the Hotel was awesome too!

I really liked that the hotel was right on Playa Madera and within walking distance to so many good restaurants. It's also a major enough hotel in the area that tour companies picked us up from it, meaning we didn't have to walk elsewhere to meet up with the tours we purchased. The air conditioning kept the room quite comfortable.

It took us a couple of days to discover where we could and couldn't go, but that was because our arrival flight was so delayed that we got to the hotel quite late.

Great spot right on the beach! The restaurant was excellent!

Location was fantastic!! The rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. Madera's restaurant had great people, not too impressed with the breakfast but the snacks were good & dinner was really nice there. Staying at the resort gets you lounge chairs on the beach which were nice.

I like that it was on the beach with a fabulous restaurant which did a pop up dinner and music on the beach every night. The happy hour was limited but we could use the beach loungers because we were registered at the hotel. The hotel was old and a little grungy where several things were broken. I refused to stay in the room at the bottom of the stairs as it was opposite the restaurant bathrooms so tjere was odour and you couldn't open the curtains anywhere. There were only 2 rooms in the hotel that I would stay in again. They were near the top of the stairs.

I loved the peace the area provided. Zihuatanejo is extra quiet compared to Ixtapa.

The outlets in the room need to be changed so they can hold the chargers; the TV needs to be replaced, we were not able to watch anything because either the controls didn't work or the TV wouldn't respond. Also, a better check out experience (faster) would be great. My sister had to run back to get the towels in our room so we could speed up the process.

The staff did not was not present at the desk when we arrived, didn't answer to the doorbell at the desk nor when we called them, eventually they did show up. The staff was not present when we checked out during the morning either.
