Best Western Plus Kenwick Park Hotel

Room was very nice, enough space, TV, kettle, comfy bed. Bathroom was good, very powerful walk in shower with plenty shampoo and body wash.

Air con didnt work untill it was reported, after trying to sleep for an hour and being to hot to bare it. Tartan carpet on way to the room that didnt show the bump which i tripped over. Bed wasnt the comfiest ive been on. Only 2 towels.

The place was amazing. The pool was open from 6am which was perfect for me and open till 10pm again great. The food at the hotel was beutifull and the staff were lovely. It was very quiet at night so no disturbances. Location was great not far into town. Would highly recomend and will use again.

breakfast was very good. Self service with everything you'd expect in terms of cereals and hot food. Staff where friendly and very helpful. The dinner menu had a good choice and the food was good and well presented. We also thought it good value for money. The room was large and again had everything you'd expect. The view overlooking the golf course was a delightful. The hotels spa facilities were first class and really made our stay.

The only qibbles were that coffee at breakfast lacked a bit of "body" and we thought the hotel missed a trick by not having spa details in the room. We only found a brouchure about what was on offer as we were leaving!

The location was fantastic , noise free, I really relaxed.

The toilet in my room didn't have a lid, not hygienic at all. It would be also thoughtful the room to have three mugs and not two, since we were three people in the room.

The Leisure Centre is outstanding, apart from a ridiculous policy of charging guests to use towels, that I have never experienced at any other hotel.

Breakfasts are very poor. About what you would expect at a 2 star hotel in Skegness. Does not appear to have changed since the 1980s. In serious need of a major upgrade.

I had a fall and ended up in hospital so my husband had to stay on for an extra week. Staff very caring and went out of their way to accommodate him. It was very reassuring. Certainly recommend this hotel. Very well positioned. Will return sometime. Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean. Evening meals great. Breakfast very good variety. Just perfect. Easy to find.

Security chain on door was broken. Light by washbasin didn’t work. Both reported to reception. Room safe was on the floor, not easy to access for older people.

Bis jetzt alles zur Zufriedenheit. Diesmal aber wirklich überhaupt nicht! Sehr schade für diesen wunderschönen und ruhigen Ort und für die netten Leute, die dort schon länger arbeiten.

Great location for what we needed. Spa and pool facilities were great and grounds are beautiful.Rooms are clean and well appointed with very comfy beds and linens. Staff are very friendly and helpful with a good approach to customer service.

A fan provided as no air con - this was much needed. Rooms lack ‘little extras’ such as biscuits with the tea tray which I’d expect given the price paid. Breakfast was very busy with items not available and guests waiting to be seated -the staff did their best to keep up with demand and were working very hard but overall breakfast didn’t quite meet expectations

Fire alarm sounding in the night every minute for six seconds for over an hour! When I called reception to mention the alarm had cut my air con in a very hot stifling room, she put the phone down on me. When I raised my complaint in the morning I was asked to send an email. Such a disappointment for a one night stay when I asked for a quiet room.

No biscuits in room until we complained We felt unsafe in the large shower cubicle so they provided anti-slip rubber mats on the floor. But it still needed a 'grab handle' on the wall for safety.

We stayed in a lodge which needs some attention. There were cobwebs in the bathroom and the shower was lacking somehow. There was a fan in the bedroom but had a leg missing so wouldn’t stand unless propped up. Overall a bit tired on the lodges.

The spa at the hotel is absolutely amazing,my daughter and I spent a whole day in there. We had treatments in the morning. A cream tea with prosecco at lunchtime, then used the many facilities round the pool in the afternoon. Apart from the regular sauna and steam room there is an ice room and a tepidarium, wonderful. Outside there is a hydrotherapy pool, again it's fantastic. Hot water, really hard jets, lay down beds. It has to be experienced. All the hotel staff seem happy to put in a little extra effort to ensure things run smoothly and nothing is too much trouble for any of them. Thank you.

The room was very warm, the fan provided wasn't great. The room needs redecorating 104. Wallpaper peeling and scuff marks etc. I expected a bit more for the price we paid for one night, (we paid for breakfast, dinner early check in late checkout £200+ for one night). Dinner wasn't great, lacked flavour. Took an hour for dessert to arrive but they did knock it off the bill. Tiles missing in the outdoor jacuzzi. The traps in the pools were a bit dirty.

Staff so polite and cheerful. Victoria sorted out an issue very fast and efficiently, through an error with booking through a 3rd party sight. Exceptional customer service. Loved the health club, breakfast and dinner was lovely. Can't wait to come back.

the dining/bar staff were trying their best and always seemed rushed off their feet, which I assume is why it felt a bit slow and curt at times. But nothing bad, just kept saying "i'll be with you in a minute, but it never was". maybe more staff might help? AC in room not working properly.

It was in a great location for Cadwell Park circuit

The room was OK but insanely hot. The window only opened a fraction and there were noisy drunk people outside and the air con did absolutely nothing. It was a very uncomfortable night. Seeing as that was all we were doing there ( we didn’t even have time for breakfast) it really didn’t deliver. Sorry!

Air conditioning in premium rooms just simply DOES NOT WORK!! When discussed with front desk was told that the AC doesn’t work well in hot weather…. The EXACT time you need it to work!!

It was a very pretty building surrounded by beautiful countryside and golf course. The views from the bedroom were lovely

Predominantly, the air con in the bedroom. We paid for an upgrade to have air con and it pumped out like warm air for the duration of our stay….we stayed during a heatwave! As we as this the radiators were on in the corridors which made it unbearably hot. They only provided you with one towel per person, and given we had use of the spa facilities and they were charging an additional £1 for a spa towel, and no robes, it was frustrating to go to reception every day for new ones. The coffee, tea and milk were minimal only providing enough for one cup of each per day. We paid extra for late check out and we had a staff member walk straight into our room at 10:30 on the day of check out to turn it over. No knock, just straight into while we were lying in bed! The spa was pleasant but very unhygienic, with no care taken to clean it regularly. I trod in something quite disgusting on the first day we arrived and it was still there after we finished our spa visit (nearly 2 hours later). There were also wet plasters over the floor round the edge of the pool. The outside spa area could have done with a good sweep and clean too. I mentioned these issues to reception on checking out, to be dismissed rather than rectified, which is disappointing.

when we arrived we were served by a lady called Tash, we arrived a few hours early around 2pm which we knew the room wouldn't be ready till 4pm, but we was going to relax in the bar area as we travelled from Warwickshire. when we went to check in she made us feel like we were interrupting here and when we said our names she said your check in time isn't till 4pm, i explained that fine we can go to the bar, she said ok. there was no how was your travel, welcome, she didn't give us an overview of where the bar was until we asked, nothing about booking for dinner or even offer. we then asked if there was somewhere to put our luggage and she shrugged and said well i can put them behind here if you want. she did say if the room was ready early she would come and get us, we sat at the bar till 15:45 then my partner went to the toilet and popped to ask if it was ready and she stated, yes it is, so didn't come and let us know at all. we checked into our room and paid extra for the deluxe room, I've stayed in a lot of hotels and the room we had was no bigger than other which we have paid less for, the shower was dirty and the aircon didn't work properly. i clicked the QR code as we was unable to book for dinner on the Saturday night due to the short notice but they did not even bother to give us options, we asked about room service but they said its all via the app or bar. went on to the QR code and there was no link for this, kept calling reception but no answer and our room was quite a way from reception.

Nice hotel situated within the grounds of a golf course. We paid slightly more for an upgraded room which was large with a comfortable bed and good facilities. Car parking was immediately in front of the hotel. We had an evening meal in the restaurant which was good quality and substantial.

Having ordered drinks in the restaurant, we had to wait a long time for them and needed to remind the staff three times.

Attended a wedding at the hotel which was fabulous. The venue and the room we stayed in was fantastic.

3rd time there, lovely location 25 mins walk across part of the golf course to reach a great pub. Hotel has good menu selection for dinner and great buffet breakfast. Lovely spacious room with a bath.

The leisure centre & spa was great. The room was spotless & comfortable. The staff were very helpful & pleasant. The hotel setting is beautiful & the gardens are very well looked after.

It was in the middle of a heatwave and the room was very warm, there were two fans supplied but air con would have been a benefit. Understand the logistics with the age of the building and the weather not always being so hot. The breakfast was a little underwhelming. I am a vegetarian and the only hot options were beans, mushrooms and hashbrowns which were all ok. The eggs were fried and didn't look apetising at all so I gave them a miss. I would prefer scrambled eggs and maybe a meat alternative such as halumi or veggie sausage.

I booked a room with air conditioning but it didn’t work. I paid about £20 extra for this. I met other residents with a similar complaint. The maintenance guy came along and confirmed that it wasn’t working at all. He said it couldn’t keep up with the demand. But we don’t need aircon when it is cold! These are the conditions when it should work! I feel like I was ripped off for the extra fee. It was a deluxe room apparently but I only slept there. The decor may have been better but no Nespresso machine or mini-bar as in other “deluxe” rooms. The breakfast didn’t include anything more than filter coffee. I think they need to get a modern bean to cup machine for the residents to operate themselves at breakfast. I accept that the barista machine puts too much of a load on the staff.

The hotel is really clean and the staff welcoming. The room was ideal and the swimming facilities brilliant.

The wifi was patchy and I was trying to work so this was a little difficult.

It was a really lovely place in a great setting. The staff were great and always there to help. It was a bonus to be able to use the swimming pool at the end of a busy day

Overall stay was poor, nothing to report back regarding anything to like.

Room was dirty. No Air Con or even a fan, the heat was unbearable which resulted in no sleep. Shower - water pressure was terrible. General Staff weren’t very helpful when asking for help to phone a taxi. Receptionist was the only person that helped out.

Very noisy bathroom fan that went on for far too long after the light was switched off, lots of noise t the back of the main building late at night (staff clearing up?), very noticeable in a ground-floor room with windows open to get cool air - no air conditioning
