Great location, beautiful rooms

The response of the property manager to requests. Location and ambiance. You feel relaxed.

2nd Visit Great location, close to highways but still private and one side of the units overlook a forest. Radiant floor heating in the washroom,amazing in the mornings.

Outside tired, cement walkway cracked and in need of repairing.

nice quiet out of town location. Very pleasing chalet like vibes. large room with balcony beside the forest.

There was no shower curtain and water pressure was not good and not very hot. One screen door did not have an outside handle.

It was such a private beautiful location perfectly situated for easy access to all amenities by vehicle. The owner went above and beyond to ensure all stays were relaxing and comfortable for all guests.

The room was very large and had a wonderful balcony overlooking a forest. The location was peaceful and quiet outside of town. Bathroom was large, bed was comfortable and the room had a A/C unit to help with the very hot outside temps.

The location is outside town so we felt a microwave would be a great addition to the room, especially for longer stays. A surface near the kitchen (in large open closet area) to store food/supplies, prep sandwiches etc..would also be helpful. This was not a big deal for our short stay but we thought this easy addition would add a lot of value.

Large, comfy, cheerful room, great bathroom. a balcony above trees, your view is a grove of Douglas fir, a great respite traveling to Haida Gwaii.

Checking in and out was very easy with a lockbox. The room was big and our balcony looked out on the trees, which was lovely. The bed was firm, which we appreciated. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to amenities and still a country feel

Quiet room. Spacious. Nice shower height for someone over 6 feet.

I love the area it is in it's very secluded. Wasn't sure about the self checkin but Doug had it set up so it was flawless. The rooms are large and very well set up it's warm and cozy with a fantastic view from the large windows. The bathroom is beautiful with all of the rock which you would think would be cold but it's not. We really enjoyed our stay at The Lodge.

Doug is very sweet. That bear in the gravel lot was amazing at 4:30 AM. Roadie was terrified but did not bark and tried to pull away. I backed up slowly far enough to be sure the bear felt safe.

There was a barking dog on our floor (not ours). Our girl is non responsive to other dogs. Roadie has stayed there in the past so maybe she is used to it?

Everything is perfect. Highly recommend

The location is a perfect work base for me as I travel to Terrace, Kitmat and Houston. The self check-in is easy, rooms are comfortable and amenities are what I need for several days. I love that Chef Abhi's Classic Indian Restaurant is downstairs, so walking there for a meal is convenient. I stay here every time I need to work in the area. Thank you!

The property is in a beautiful, private location set against the side of the mountain. The room was gorgeous. We loved the contact free check in and checkout, it made everything feel very private.

Although beautiful, the beds were not very comfortable… we woke up with sore hips and shoulders each morning. Lots of dust in the bathroom upon check in but maybe it just hadn’t been rented in awhile. They advertised as pet friendly but there were no garbage cans on the outside of the property that we could see so nowhere to get ride of dog poop if you needed to.

It was a great stay looking forward to coming back.

Excellent place to stay great staff

My preference for comfortable, warm and inviting aesthetics over corporate cookie cutter accommodations has been found at the lodge at Skeena landing. I am looking forward to returning here soon so I may enjoy this unimposing gem, which was recommended to me by a co-worker. The appropriately repurposed building with its unique architecture yields flawlessly to the outside surroundings, inviting it inward beautifully. Amenities are clean, comfortable, booking was pleasant and parking is ample.

Spectacular treed setting and vaulted rooms. It was the first stop on our trip and set the tone. Really nice restaurant on site.

The hotel had incredible ambience, was spacious and very comfortable. Enjoyed the porch.

Cozy, clean, peaceful room with beautiful balcony and comfortable beds. Staff is helpful and respond quickly to questions. We've stayed many times and always enjoyed our stay.

The room we had at the Lodge was beautiful. It was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The balcony overlooking the cedar trees made it feel like we were in a treehouse. We ate at the Indian restaurant at the Lodge and it was fantastic food. Everything was so fresh. I love Indian food and Chef Abhi’s was some of the best Indian food I have had. Beautiful flavours and so well balanced. I could taste the love and intention in their food. A stay at the Lodge won’t disappoint but to fully enjoy, a room with a balcony is a must.

This is our second time staying here and it was as great as the last time. I’ll continue staying here when my visit my family in Terrace. I live in the rainforest on Vancouver Island and this lodge just feels like home.

The Lodge was an unexpected jewel. It is tucked away in the forest and very quiet. It felt like a resort rather than a hotel. I really appreciated the keyless entry and the low key atmosphere. I didn't try the restaurant, but it smelled delicious!

I can't think of anything that could have been done better. It really was a charming place.

The room was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. Check in was a breeze and super convenient.

My 3rd time staying here and if I visit the Terrace area, The Lodge at Skeena Landing will be my first and only choice! Love this place!!

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Lodge. It’s tucked into the trees out of the town core. The check in and out is seamless and I appreciate the 1pm check in. The rooms are comfortably furnished and very clean. IMO the quality of accommodation for the price is exceptional!

This was my 4th time staying here, and each stay only reaffirms how much we enjoy it. Always clean, comfortable, and an excellent location. It feels like a remote lodge stay while being so close to town and the airport. Check-in/check out/communication from staff is excellent.
