Lisbon suffers from high humidity, and one of our rooms was a bit musty in smell. But again as mentioned staff were very helpful

Lecker Frühstück im Gewölbekeller aus dem 16. Jahrhundert. Die Bedienung war schon beim letzten Aufenthalt auffallend umsichtig. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr günstig.Die U Bahn, der Hafen die Markthalle sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel achtet auf Sicherheit.

Breakfast was not great as in choice and breakfast area very cramped. Bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed on its own. Safe same code as outside door and room door. Room 2 was very noisy from corroded guest speaking ect

Værelser lå nærmest under gadeplan med tremmer for vinduerne og indkik fra forbipasserende på gaden. Der var lidt fugtigt og den installerede varmeblæser var utroligt larmende

Le lit de notre chambre était vraiment dur … et juste le dernier jour notre avion étant à 9h45, on espérait, avec le petit déjeuner compris, qu’on nous fasse un petit panier petit déjeuner. Non proposé. Mais mis à part ça rien à reprocher.

Large well appointed room, close to shops and restaurants and easy walking access to sites of interest. Breakfast choices were very good and the ladies working the dining area were very accommodating.

As older people the steps were a challenge especially the breakfast room which was in the basement.

A stylish hotel, centrally located for all the sights. The room and breakfast were great. The staff were exceptionally helpful and recommended some really good restaurants and looked after our bags as we had a late flight.

There was some street noise but I slept through it, my husband didn’t tho’.

La cordialtà del personale, la location molto caratteristica, la colazione molto valida, la posizione perfetta per raggiungere tutto anche a piedi e in ogni caso metro attaccata

Siamo stati sfortunati in quanto la camera al piano terra dava direttamente sulla strada tramite una porta finestra e pertanto si sentivano tutti i rumori della via, ed anche al piano di sopra, gli ospiti non sono stati molto rispettosi.

Tivemos o quarto com janelas para a rua principal e, especialmente ao sábado à noite, até de madrugada, há bastante barulho.

I booked a deluxe suite for my husbands birthday. The room was very spacious, well decorated and generally looked clean. The breakfast was a good range of continental and a choice of hot eggs. Check in was easy and we were able to check in early. The staff were super helpful and more than willing to do whatever they could to make our stay perfect.

Nothing massively wrong with the room, just minor things that I expected to be better for the cost/deluxe stated room. There was a patch of paint that had come off the wall which wasn’t quite as expected for the cost and rate of the room. We decided against the use of the safe as it was an access code which was the same as the door, so if someone could get into the room we knew our belongings wouldn’t be safe. There was no way to pull the curtains fully to the side which obstructed the view of the lovely windows/doors. The breakfast although lovely, was only served 8am - 10am, so with such a short window it was a very busy space for everyone.

The mattresses are firm, I would have preferred a medium firm, so the opportunity to be able.to choose that option ahead of stay would have been good.

The hotel itself is perfect for a few days in Lisbon but it was Goncalo who made this place extra special. He was very accommodating and went over and beyond to give us information on the area. The breakfast was superb with omelettes, fresh fruits and breads. We would like to back and stay here in the summer months.

The location was very nice and central. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the building had a nice sense of design and style.

My room was so much humid that water was getting inside my window since it was rainy days. This is not acceptable at all. The heating system was not working properly I would say almost out of order and there was no dehumidifier to remove the massive amount of humidity inside the room. My clothes were almost dump every day because of the night level of humidity.Also there is a smell of humidity inside the room as a consequence of all the above that makes my stay non pleasant.No fridge in the room to store water or drinks.

The property had a beautiful charm to it and the building itself has a very interesting history. My room was lovely and you can see how they combined modern elements with the original framework of the building. The staff was so wonderful and welcoming!!! They were eager to help create a wonderful stay for me. CLAUDIA greeted me with the biggest smile after an arduous journey from the states. She took my hand and guided me up the marble stairs because of the wetness from the rain. She was so kind every time I saw her and she wanted to help me in anyway possible. GIANCARLO: What can I say ? He was fun to talked too an excited to share everything about Lisbon. He has the best smile! Even though I had to leave early my last morning; he made sure I had coffee and even a to go breakfast I could enjoy in my room. Please forgive me, I forgot the young lady’s name who is tall and has dark curly hair. She had a warm kind energy about her I truly enjoyed. She gave me a hug goodbye by that was so sweet. PLEASE PLEASE put this in the review: IGOR TCHEMAGUIRE the massage therapist was simply amazing!!! Truly the best massage I’ve ever had !! He used multiple techniques to relieve my pain and tightness in my right hip. He is very skillful and used kinetic energy, Myofascial techniques to create a wonderful experience. My only regret is scheduling a treatment my last day in Lisbon. I would ‘ve seen him everyday during my stay. I want to say the kitchen staff were lovely and so sweet every morning during breakfast. They made sure I had everything I needed to start the day.

La boutique hôtel est très bien située dans un environnement proche des transports en commun et lieux de visite. Le personnel est très accueillant et aimable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux avec des produits frais et sans emballage plastique, ce qui est très appréciable.

Le seul inconvénient était notre chambre qui donnait sur la rue, un peu bruyant la nuit mais rien d'insoutenable.

Absolutely amazing experience all around . Location is perfect in every aspect , quiet , central , next to most main points of interest , the neighborhood is absolutely safe and easy to return to . The rooms are clean spacious with great respect to the original architecture of the building . Honorary mention to Gonçalo , a true gentleman with genuine smile and useful tips for your stay !

O Alecrim ao Chiado é perfeito para uma estadia de final de semana ou 1 semana, para curtir e explorar a região central do Chiado, perto de TUDO, e com poucas caminhadas você consegue conhecer muita atração do roteiro padrão e turístico de Lisboa. Os quartos são muito confortáveis, limpos, com boas roupas de cama e banho. O café da manhã continental super entrega. Vale muito a pena.

Do horário limitado de limpeza do quarto, poderiam flexibilizar mais.

Tout était exceptionnel. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter à pied Lisbonne. Plein de restaurants au tour et des commerces. J'ai choisi cet hôtel pour son emplacement et le petit déjeuner. Et c'est vrai que c'est très bien. Mais pour nous plus remarquable a été le personnel : l'accueil très bien passé, la fille était très attentive à nos besoins et de bons conseils pendant tout le séjour. Je conseille fortement cet hôtel pour votre séjour

There is no elevator, we arrived with lots of luggage and we were not comfortable that the receptionist offered to take them up the stairs.

- The staff are so warm, helpful, and friendly. We had a birthday banner and cards out in the room as it was my husband's birthday, and the hotel gave us a bottle of wine with a little birthday message. This was a lovely touch and shows how thoughtful the hosts are. - The staff notice small details - we'd put our wash bags on the floor and when we came back, staff had set up a little table for us to put them on. - Clean, spacious, well-decorated rooms. Impeccably tidy housekeeping. - Breakfast is delicious and of excellent quality. Choice is not as big as other hotels, but all is excellent. Eggs are available cooked to order, along with toast, pastries, yogurts, fresh fruits, and cereals. - The hotel is in a great location, close to tram and bus stops, the metro, and within walking distance of many sites.

- The room and particularly the bathroom could probably do with a fresh coat of paint. Some fixtures/fittings in the bathroom looked a bit tired. - Slight musty smell in the room which I think was due to the fact the bathroom got quite damp and the extractor fan didn't quite manage to get all the steam.

Because the hotel is so well located in a busy area, the street was busy all night (not the hotel's fault or responsibility). Just something to be aware of for this specific location.

Had high expectations of a cute boutique hotel but we were disappointed - bed was extremely hard, with no duvet in the room, poor qualities… overpriced - for very little more we’ve been to better establishments.

Tudo impecável: a equipe extremamente gentil e atenciosa, o quarto muito confortável e aconchegante, a cama e o chuveiro deciliosos, café da manhã muito bom! A localização excelente: perto de 2 estações de metrô, de pontos de bonde, de ônibus, próximo de vários pontos turísticos e bons restaurantes. Com certeza me hospedarei lá novamente se voltar à Lisboa

Para nós não era um problema, mas há escadas que podem dificultar a acessibilidade. É apenas um lance para ir para os quartos ou um lance para o café da manhã.

O hotel é um charme! Quartos espaçosos e funcionários ex-cep-ci-o-nais! Simplesmente TODOS! Além de nós, nossa filha recebeu muita atenção e carinho da equipe. Nota 10! Nota 10 pro café da manhã também! Tudo uma delícia! O único porém é que os quartos não tem frigobar, o que prejudica muito a possibilidade de manter itens perecíveis conservados. Uma pena! Fomos no inverso, mas imagino que no verão seja pior ainda não poder contar com isso... Como o hotel passará por obras, esperamos que frigobar nos quartos estejam nos planos. Em um breve retorno à Lisboa, queremos muito voltar a hospedar-se lá!

Já comentado acima! Não ter frigobar nos quartos. Uma pena mesmo... Fez falta.

L’emplacement, le confort, le personnel.

The rooms are beautifully appointed and the location in Chiado is unbeatable. Furthermore the reception staff, especially Gonçalo and Claudia, are incredibly friendly, kind and helpful making this a very special place to spend a few memorable days in Lisbon.

Υπέροχη υποδοχή, πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο μεγάλο και φωτεινό , πολύ όμορφοι χώροι, η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική. Όλο το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό, το πρωινό πλούσιο.

Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν η σχετικά ανύπαρκτη ηχομόνωση που δεν ήταν βέβαια πολύ μεγάλο πρόβλημα καθώς δεν είχε γενικά φασαρία ο κοινόχρηστος χώρος.
