Dionis Villa

Добрый день. Остановились на вилле в марте 2025 с мужем и маленьким ребёнком. Из плюсов: очень красивое и аутентичное место, ухоженная зелёная территория, расположенная в гористом ланшафте. Вилла находиться в хорошей локации к двум пляжам. Очень приятный управляющий, есть услуга стирки за дополнительную плату, вода в куллере. Очень качественно укомплектована кухня на свежем воздухе. Из минусов: надо подниматься в гору, не во всех номерах есть кондиционеры и много комаров. В целом это не испортило прекрасный отдых

It felt like magic around the jungle. Nice location, quite, had everything you need.

Quiet location, 10 mins in Tuctuc from centre of Unawatuna. Kind and helpful hosts, Raju and Stella. Raju arranged taxi to udawalawa and also Safari trip to national park - thank you Raju.Pleasant outside living area with kitchen and fridge. Lovely garden with trees and plants. Comfortable beds with mosquito nets. Strong WiFi.

The sheets are a little old and tired and need replacing. Pillows not very comfortable. No aircon but good ceiling fans in all rooms and outside area.

Sitting on the veranda in the morning and watching all the wildlife(monkeys lizards birds and chipmunks). It's a beautiful villa in the mountains, and the hosts are really friendly.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Amazing stay at Dionis villa! Great location, walking distance to the town but on the edge so it’s very quiet and peaceful. Situated in the jungle you see so much wildlife from your window! Raju was an amazing host and made our stay really special.

Fully equipped, renovated and cozy apartments. Very well decorated and immersed among trees, plants and flowers. Equal distance from the best beaches in the area, the famous Unawatuna and the paradisiacal Jungle Beach, as well as the Japanese Pagoga. We stayed for a whole month and decided to extend our stay for two more months because the place and the hosts (Raju and Francesca) were absolutely fantastic. You can see the monkeys from your apartment and hear the sounds of the peacocks during the sunset, buy fresh fish at the fishmonger and bread at the baker who passes by Dionis Villas. There are also convenience stores and restaurants with Sri Lankan specialties nearby. 100% recommended for long or short stays and very comfortable for working remotely. We will definitely go back!!!

Amazing apartment and awesome owners.

Fantastiskt hotell i ”djungeln” med växter o djur som närmaste grannar. Mycket trevlig, hjälpsam o generös personal som gjorde allt för att msn skulle trivas. Ekologiskt tänk med fantastiskt vacker o ekologiskt god frukost o lunch. Beroende av tuktuk till stad o strand. Lugnt o skönt!

Quiet and peaceful place. Enjoyed natural life style.

This place was exactly what we were expecting. A large spacious apartment up in the hills, away from the beach. The owners were helpful and friendly but left us to do our own thing with no pressure to do any tours etc. It's value for money. We enjoy walking so had no issues with the 15 minute walk to the beachfront. The wifi is super slow (worst we had during our stay in SriLanka) and non existent at times, but we are on holiday so it forced us to put down our social media and just chat or dream... Bathroom just outside the apartment which was a small issue at night fumbling around with keys to unlock the apartment door to go to the loo.. Mostly hot water but once or twice there wasn't but it's hot and humid so no big issue. Would I go again, yes. Would I recommend to friends and family, yes. Thanks for a great stay

Me and mother visited Unawatuna in April and we have chosen the Dionis Villa because the location of the villa seemed very convenient. Indeed we found it very suitable for all our needs! Waves are pretty strong at Unawatuna beach so we walked to the stunning Jungle beach which is just about 10 minutes walk from the villa. Even though we don't drive, it was super easy to catch a tuk-tuk back when it got dark. Owners Francesca with Raju, their beautiful daughter and Lulu, the cutest dog, were very friendly and welcoming, they invited us to have a traditional breakfast during Sri Lankan New Year, it was a very nice gesture! We were staying in a two bedroom villa which was a perfect size for us, equipped with a kitchen and all necessary tools. I was a little bit sceptic about fans before we arrived, but it was actually perfect for cooling! I had a great sleep all nights with a fan only, open windows also give some air flow. Villa is surrounded by trees so it doesn't get extremely hot inside. Towels are provided. It was very quiet around, not much of traffic outside, just some occasional cars and bikes, well, and birds of course :) wi-fi is good. Also, I would like to say a massive "Thank you" to Raju which approached my desire to learn surfing, offered to join him to hit the waves. He offered me to borrow his board and showed me how to surf. All this was just a friendly offer, which was unexpectedly pleasant! I loved my first wave and now there is no need for me to take an instru
