Hotel San Lorenzo - Adults Only

Location was good for all aspects of city. Room was comfortable, clean with separate toilet/shower and bathroom. good breakfast with self service and ability to order extra, helpful breakfast staff.

On booking we were told that we would need to access rooms but this would be close to entrance/ breakfast area. Reality you needed to make 3 left turns about 300 meters + over cobbled surface all uphill. Not suitable for anyone with a disability. On Friday 2nd day, air conditioning unit broke down, manager + maintenance tried to repair for approx 1 hour, no success, was told would be dealt with next day. Did not work for whole trip, provided extra fan but very uncomfortable at night. No communication, and on check out was told we should have raised again during stay ? No full time receptionist to contact. This hotel may not be suitable for elderly ( we are both healthy in our 70's )

Excellent location close to centre. Lovely big junior suite. Unable to use the small pool though as we arrived during a storm. Excellent buffet style breakfast with hot eggs prepared as desired.

Lots of stairs with no lift so moving luggage was tough.

This time we were on the top floor and found all the steps a little too difficult - obviously getting older!!

Nothing I didn’t like however I do believe that having more luxurious toiletries in the bathroom would elevate the experience and bring it in line with the property itself.

Beautiful furniture, elegant building, lovely swimming pool, excellent breakfast, perfect location, great staff. The bedroom was quite spacious.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a lot of historic charm. The staff was really friendly although sometimes hard to communicate with as we don't speak Spanish, we still managed. The breakfasts were excellent and the room was beautiful. Greatly situated with easy access to main attractions by foot. Wonderful local restaurants just around the corner as well as main attractions. The bottle of Cava that was waiting for us in our room was a wonderful gesture.

We arrived after the front desk closed. We got extremely good instructions on how to find our room, but we had difficulty finding the back entrance and had to haul our luggage up and down stairs to find where we needed to go. The hotel is also a maze of stairs with no elevator or lift. If you have heavy luggage or reduced mobility I would not recommend this hotel, or ensure that you get a room close to the main entrance.

This is the best hotel experience we have had. The room was exceptional, beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The location is perfect for everything, the breakfast great and the staff could not have been more helpful. i cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Palma

Der tolle Service in jeglicher Hinsicht. z.B. Frühstück vor der offiziellen Zeit wurde möglich gemacht. Ganz liebes Personal und Chefin. Witzig ist die elektrische Winde, die unsere schweren Koffer in den 4. oder 5. Stock befördert hat. (Hatten soviel Gepäck dabei, weil wir am nächsten Tag auf die AIDA Stella gegangen sind)

Uns hat die sehr zentrale Lage in der Altstadt und der familiäre Charakter der Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Wir hatten eine Junior-Suite mit eigener Terrasse gebucht und haben die damit verbundenen Annehmlichkeiten und Privatsphäre genossen. Der kleine Pool im Innenhof reichte für unsere Wünsche aus und stellte in der Hitze Mitten im August eine angenehme Abkühlung dar.

Die Aufmerksamkeit des Personals bei der Zimmer-Reinigung ließ am ersten / zweiten Tag zu Wünschen übrig. Nachdem wir dies aber artikuliert haben, war danach alles in Ordnung.

There was nothing at all that I didn’t like.

The style and location of the hotel was excellent. We were in Room 2 which was a junior suite, so we had a lot of space and a good balcony (with sun loungers and a table and chairs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived vet early, but our room was ready, so we were allowed to check-in.

Whilst the staff were helpful, it would have been useful to have been given some guidance in the breakfast room, as we were unsure what to do on our first morning. Some instructions for the tv, would have been helpful. The upstairs a/c unit wasn’t as effective as the one downstairs, so the bedroom was very warm. This must have been identifies earlier as there was a fan provided, which helped a bit.

Un hotel 4 estrellas que no tiene gente en recepción luego de las 22hs que además te hacen ingresar por la puerta trasera luego de ese horario hace que todo sea más complicado. Incluso nunca nos consultaron si íbamos en auto y llegar al lugar fue un incordio.

The location was great- facilities were so cute and our room was huge! Unfortunately, we only stayed one night because we were supposed to fly out the next morning. Lucy at the front desk was nothing less than fantastic. Very kind. Unfortunately our flight was canceled and we had to figure out something so we were able to use the facilities in the meantime which was great but the other lady that works at the desk was a little less unfriendly.

Being on the first floor/ first room , the hustle and bustle of breakfast time was not very quiet early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper, you will be woken up.

L'aigua de la piscina no està molt freda, i amb la calor que fa s'agrairia!!!

Ett boende nära till allt. Litet mysigt och jättefin inredning. Litet mysigt frukostrum. Tyst på natten trots det ligger mitt i centrum. Personalen var fantastisk, poolen var perfekt, vi hade turen att vara där själva. Vi bodde i rum 7 (även rum 6) med utgång precis vid poolen.

Finns inget! Det är mycket trappor, men det står tydligt i beskrivningen, så det kan man inte klaga på!

Issues were raised at the time but no one cared

The location is excellent and the property has lots of charme. The staff was very nice and accomodating.

The hotel would benefit from renovation. The bathroom in particular had peeling walls, dirty corners and a musty smell. The furniture was somewhat worn and the mattress rather unconfortable. The cleanliness could also be improved. The air condition was very noisy and could not be regulated well.

Wir wahren für 2 Nächte hier im Hotel. Wir fanden das Hotel optimal. Klein und fein. Absolute Stadtnähe, sehr ruhig. Alles sauber, tolles Frühstück das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Schönen Pool. Entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Angestellten sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt!

The room was not super clean and was facing the street which was noisy at night. House keeping tried to enter our room at 8.30 am when we were still asleep and then proceeded to make lots of noise outside our room for the next hour

The property was really lovely with hidden surprises like the roof top garden and pool.

Das Hotel ist wirklich fantastisch! Sehr individuell gehalten und eingerichtet, tolle Zimmer und sehr freundliche Menschen! Das Hotel befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt und doch war es total ruhig. Wir hatten sogar eine eigene private Terrasse vor der Tür. Auch das Frühstück im kleinem Speise Raum war sehr umfangreich. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich nur jedem empfehlen.

欠点なんてどこにも見つからなかった。階段のタイルがかわいい。朝食会場もかわいい。フレンドリーでやさしいスタッフの皆さんも最高！ 間違いなく素晴らしいホテルです。

Charming old world with some lovely features eg the tiles on the steps. Staff particularly helpful and good humoured.

Too many stairs to my room and not possible to have a list , however there was a back entrance we were allowed to use when leaving and arriving back a bit difficult to find.

Es gab nichts auszusetzen

Wir waren 2 Tage nach einer Kreuzfahrt hier und sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge in die Altstadt oder auch in die nähere Umgebung. Die Zimmer sind über einige Treppen gut zu erreichen und die Lage des Pools ist einzigartig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen. Auch die Hilfe bei der Beschaffung eines Taxis, was in Palma oft nicht so einfach ist war hervorragend. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und hochwertig

Da gibt es nur eins , das Licht könnte etwas heller sein und die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sind leider etwas lauter.

The location is fantastic. A lovely pool & pool area. Breakfast was very good. Very comfortable beds.

Slightly quirky. Teabags left, no kettle to get hot water, no teaspoons. No shampoo. Tiny little things however would make a big difference. Staff are helpful, not necessarily very efficient. There appears to be lots of different staff on different days. It wouldn’t put us off staying. Just slightly quirky.

Top-Lage und aufgrund der wenigen Zimmer sehr privates Ambiente. Größtenteils sehr nette und bemühte Mitarbeiter.

Gleich beim Reingehen ins Zimmer Strom-Probleme, Safe funktionierte nicht, warmes Wasser erst, nachdem man mit dem Duschen fertig war. Möglichkeit war, dass man das Wasser laufen ließ, bis es warm war und dann erst duschte, was natürlich eine immense Wasserverschwendung bedeutet und somit auch der Wahnsinn ist! Pool nicht beheizt. Da wir bereits um 06:30 Uhr abreisen mussten, bekamen wir am letzten Tag kein Frühstück! Hotel würde von uns keine 4 Sterne bekommen!

Couldn't manage to turn one wall light and one bedside off (Rm3) - the two seemed to have some sort of trickle charge even when the switch was off. Took the bulbs out! Hot water a little unpredictable The ventilation had not swapped from winter hot air to summer AC when we asked. It was 26 degrees so not a major issue and the reception immediately sorted a fan for us

The property is beautifully traditionally Mallorcan. The positioning is absolutely ideal for exploring the city of Palma. The rooms are designed perfectly. The food was excellent, and a bonus at breakfast was a cooked option. The pool area was relaxing and a highlight after a day walking and exploring the city. We would definitely return!

A really beautiful hotel right in the centre of Palma. It was perfect for our few nights in the city. Our room was massive, high ceilings, and full of charm. Outdoor area was stunning and very relaxing. Breakfasts were really nice and varied (A special shoutout to the staff who run the breakfasts - you are fantastic!).
