Air conditioning don’t work in the bedrooms. I highlighted this at 6.30pm, just before we put our baby to sleep, mentioning to them that it was urgent as we were concerned for our baby’s sleep. No staff were present at the property and the staff online were extremely unhelpful. They asked me to try various things I had already tried including using the remote for the lounge a/c, which didn’t work as they were different manufacturers of a/c unit. When I told them this they just stopped replying. I messaged them to say I was extremely disappointed with this and that they hadn’t found another solution e.g. a fan, if they didn’t have a replacement and they replied overnight saying the other remote would work despite my telling them I had tried this serval times. A real and obvious lack of care to resolve my issue which was extremely disappointing regardless, particularly as I highlighted that it was impacting my 6 month old baby. Would not recommend

Reviewed Jul 21, 2026My family and I liked everything, however, as I’m quite afraid of hight I found the walk from the elevator to the front door alongside the banister on the 5th floor quite scary. If you have the same, don’t let this keep you from renting the apartment as it is clean, comfortable has a sufficient amount of feeling like a home and is located in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of nice coffee bars, breakfast places and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, the apartment has airco and the whole walking into an apartment in a busy Madrid street feels a little like actually living there. The liveliness at street level is not something you notice when in the apartment, nice and quiet at night. The next time we are in Madrid we will definitely choose this neighbourhood as well as this apartment again.
The hight (fifth floor) and small corridor to the front door.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Overall, we had a good stay. The apartment was clean, smelled fresh, and the beds (including the sofa bed) were comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed, and the location was great, close to the metro.
Our arrival experience was quite frustrating. The entry code provided to us didn’t work, and after trying to call several times without any answer, we were left waiting outside for about an hour. Eventually, they responded to my email with a new code, and we were finally able to get in. A bit small for five people, but it was manageable.

Despite not expecting much - the beds were really poor. One of the bedrooms faced into the inner courtyard and the sensor light was super bright shining into the insufficient curtained window at all hours - please consider localising the sensor instead of having the whole building going off; or a less bright light; or better yet, better curtains for the impacted windows.
