Fantastic location, shuttle bus to Marina. Amazing rooms, penthouse amazing. Really clean, lovely pool

No bar in the evening after10pm. Not good enough for a 5 star hotel. They did try to charge me €9 for room service when I asked for some ice!! They didn’t charge in the end.

A 20 metros de una pequeña playa. Buenas habitaciones con vistas. Todo el equipo muy amable y atento. El puerto con oferta gastronómica queda a 10 min en taxi o 20 a pie.

Los días que nos alojamos en el hotel eran días de fiesta local. No pudimos dormir dos noches de las tres que quedamos en el hotel. Lo que pasaba en la plaza a 50 metros de la terraza de la habitación me recordó el famoso anuncio del lavavajillas que utilizaban en el Villariba. El hotel tendría que advertir a sus clientes de los días especiales para el barrio a la hora de confirmar reservas y no el día de la entrada al hotel.

Absolutely outstanding stay! We had a panoramic-view room with a stunning view, while our kids had a beautiful beach-view room, and both were amazing. The rooms were spotless, modern, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The entire hotel is stunning, the location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything from the cleanliness to the service and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. We truly loved our stay at The Donna Portals and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The pool needed some TLC, there was endless amounts of loose tiles that you stood on, the male poor attendant took his job a bit to seriously constantly telling kids off and looking to moan about something

The staff were amazing The real value of this hotel is his team They really make you feel home, they genuinely take care of you

Lovely staff , modern hotel , good location with shuttle bus service into the port , very clean , nice mini bar options , room service food was very tasty , nice pool area and lovely beach club area if you want to go in the sea

Didn't like that the toilet was at the back of the bedroom with clear doors so it was not very private Lack of attention to detail , definitely not enough staff , indoor bar never anyone there , only time managed to get a drink there , the lady tried to put 2 different types of Gin into one measure as one bottle had finished , no lemon or lime. The valet was also the shuttle bus driver so had to wait 25 mins to get the car out of valet one eve Only room service we had, got a part of the order wrong and came back 3 times Outside guest ringing our doorbell and knocking on the door at midnight! All of these small issues in a 2 night stay make you question the 5 star rating - the facilities were great but the attention to detail, needs work

The staff, the spa, and the location

It is not super clean, the room was average and not laid out with any thought as the toilet is right next to the bed and the door constantly bangs on the table. The food was ok but nothing special.

Beautiful location with modern, clean rooms and genuinely friendly staff.

Unfortunately, the service felt quite disorganised. Orders were often forgotten, we regularly had to look for staff to order, and there was confusion around the shuttle schedule, making it difficult to plan our day. The pool was also full of sunbeds reserved with towels for hours. The most frustrating part was that when things went wrong, it didn’t feel like anyone took ownership to resolve them. A great hotel with plenty of potential, but better organisation would make a big difference.

The hotel is beautiful and unique in its design. The pool on the 7th floor is lovely, it’s right on the beach and the staff is very kind.

Breakfast can improve- although it’s good and varies, I would like more variety of breads, yogurts, more fruits and vegs

Had the pleasure of spending the day at the Donna Beach Club in Portals recently, and what a fantastic experience it was. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that this is one of those places that has the complete package. A stunning setting right on the water’s edge, beautiful daybed options, a lovely spa, and direct access to the sea just steps away. The food was exceptional. Fresh, vibrant flavours, beautifully presented, and exactly what you want on a hot Mallorca summer’s day. Every dish felt light, balanced, and packed with flavour, making lunch every bit as memorable as the surroundings. What stood out most, however, was the service. Ben Mulvey and his team were outstanding throughout the day. Professional, attentive, efficient, and above all genuinely warm and friendly. They create an atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely welcome and completely relaxed. Beautiful surroundings, excellent food, outstanding service, and everything you could want for the perfect day by the sea. Wishing Ben and the entire team continued success for the season ahead. Highly recommended.

A truly wonderful stay at the Donna Portals. All of the staff were extremely friendly and performed the highest levels of hospitality throughout our stay. I celebrated my birthday during our stay and the team really went the extra mile to make it feel very special. It was our first time in this area of Mallorca and the team were able to provide great recommendations and knowledge of what to/ what not to do. We will defiantly be back.

This a beautiful hotel overlooking a pretty beach but the service really lets it down doesn’t match with the surroundings. At breakfast you are told just to sit down and find a seat it could be 20 minutes before your hot drink order is taken and then if your lucky you will be asked if you want eggs no menu just do you want eggs. I noticed a gentleman having eggs, bacon and avocado I asked for bacon was told there is no bacon. Roof top pool you can’t order from your lounger you have to go to the bar, first day I was told only do iced coffee next day saw people having Americanos there is no rhyme or reason. Slight bit of wind on our first day and we were left baking by the female life guard on duty as she said it was too windy to put the umbrellas up hardy a breath in the air. I would say that the gentleman lifeguard the rest of the week was far better going out of his way to make everyone comfortable. The restaurant setting and food is lovely when it comes and if it is actually what you ordered in the first place. Waited 35 minutes for a glass of wine then another 25 minutes for my food when it came it was wrong so an hour at lunch with no actual lunch, I left. Reception staff really helpful and accommodating a special mention to the young guy who drives the shuttle what a lovely guy. I think with some improvements this could be amazing but was definitely not worth the money considering the service we received.

The staff were really good, the hotel was beautiful, but the overall experience could have been much better. Coffee at breakfast was never delivered on time. Organisation of ordering was disjointed and there appeared to be one coffee machine, meaning slow delivery. The pool didn’t open properly till 10am, but people were ready to use the pool well before then. Towels were not available at all times in our room. We had to ask for towels several times and didn’t always get hand towels, or bath mats. Then the restaurant ran out of bread for sandwiches and toast. Lastly, there is a lot of art in the hotel and we were told that this was a feature of the hotel. However, no-one could tell us anything about it. And early on in our stay the staff claimed to know nothing about any of the bars, or the village close by the hotel. We did get some good restaurant recommendations, so the lack of info about the surrounding area felt like deliberate attempt to put us off the adjacent venues. On a positive note, the new Food & Beverage Manager was making a big effort to find out about issues and implement improvements.

My stay at The Donna Portals was truly exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel enjoys a perfect location with breathtaking views, direct access to the beach, and excellent facilities that made my stay both relaxing and memorable. The cleanliness throughout the property was impeccable, and the breakfast was outstanding every morning. I also greatly appreciated the hotel’s shuttle service, which made getting around the nearby area incredibly easy and convenient. What impressed me most was the outstanding level of hospitality. The team was always warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. Every interaction felt personal and sincere, which made the experience even more special. A very special thank you to Hana, who was the first person to welcome us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home. Her warmth and kindness created a wonderful first impression from the very beginning. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Hindi, Lydia, Samuel, Xavi, and Maria for their professionalism, friendliness, and exceptional service throughout my stay. The Donna Portals is a beautiful hotel with stunning views, excellent service, outstanding cleanliness, and a truly remarkable team. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and created wonderful memories there. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The staff are amazing they do everything to make sure your stay is fab.

Great location. Reception staff are lovely and so helpful. The bell boy (sorry I did not catch his name) went above and beyond. He was so lovely! The restaurant staff were also very friendly, however on the last day the waitress was quite rude which let the hotel experience down, not what we wanted on the morning we were leaving.

Our stay at the Donna Portals Hotel in Portals Nous was truly unforgettable and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here in a Panorama Suite on the 8th floor, and waking up each morning to the breathtaking panoramic views overlooking the beach and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea was simply magical. The room itself was luxurious, beautifully designed, and created the perfect atmosphere for a romantic and relaxing getaway. This hotel absolutely delivers a true 5-star luxury experience. The location could not be better — just steps away from a gorgeous beach and an excellent public beach club that made our stay even more enjoyable. Whether relaxing by the sea during the day or enjoying the vibrant energy of Portals Nous at night, everything felt effortlessly elegant and welcoming. We would especially like to recognize the wonderful porters and hotel staff who made us feel like honored guests throughout our entire stay. The porters and front desk staff were always cheerful, professional, and incredibly accommodating, especially when transporting guests down to the marina and nightlife area in the evenings. Their warmth and hospitality added a very personal touch to the experience and made us feel genuinely cared for. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is sophisticated yet relaxed, and the attention to detail in nearly every aspect of the guest experience was exceptional. Our only mixed feedback would relate to the breakfast service during busy morning hours. The breakfast offering itself was excellent, but it did at times feel somewhat understaffed. There were occasions when tables were not cleared promptly after guests left, which created a slightly hectic atmosphere during peak breakfast times. We believe adding a few more servers during these busy periods would elevate the experience even further and better reflect the otherwise outstanding standard of the hotel. Overall, our honeymoon at Donna Portals was extraordinary, and we would absolutely return again. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable and luxurious experience for us.

This was our first visit to The Donna Portals and we absolutely loved our stay. Our Room was light and airy with a wonderful view over the Bay and the beach. Every single Staff member we met were polite, friendly and extremely efficient - nothing was too much trouble. The Hotel provided a Shuttle Service to the Portals Marina and nearby Restaurants which made our stay even more pleasant. We shall certainly return to this fabulous Hotel.

I just want to say I had the most amazing time staying at the beautiful Donna Portals. Everything was amazing right from start to finish. A perfect hotel for friends, family or couples! The hotel itself was stunning, the views are incredible and not to mention how lovely the staff were! I can’t wait to visit again!

A stunning week in an incredible hotel. The location is perfect, on the secluded Bendinat beach, and only a short walk round the beautiful headland to the portals marina, with its extensive choice of shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were not only extremely attentive but very friendly. So different to the larger ‘chain’ hotels. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The vibrant artworks, gardens, pool and rooms are very special, whilst the spa is stunning. Undoubtedly one of the coolest but quietly understated hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I have already booked my next stay.

Very beautiful location and great view from the room with balcony. We had room 603. Personnel was very helpful and friendly. Various breakfast selection, tasty coffee, always fresh fruits. Simply adorable location to enjoy see and rest from city life.

We had a really beautiful time at the Donna Portals at the beginning of February. We enjoyed the beach and cold sea water as much as the super delicious breakfast and spa treatments. The team organised for us to play Padel at a padel club just a few minutes away from the hotel and and we’re always very warm and super helpful with all questions we had. We will try to come back in spring

Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful this is our second stay at the hotel and would highly recommend it

A Marcel Wanders által megálmodott dizájn nem egyszerűen látványos, hanem valódi művészeti élmény – olyan egyedi, különleges világ, ahol az ember újra és újra felfedez valami apró, finom részletet. Ritka az ilyen karakteres, mégis harmonikus tér. Az egész szállodát áthatja ez az igényesség és esztétikai tudatosság, miközben a hangulat végig nyugodt, kiegyensúlyozott és rendkívül komfortos. Külön szeretném kiemelni a személyzetet, akik kivételesen kedvesek, figyelmesek és professzionálisak voltak. Érkezéskor egy érzékenyebb személyes időszakban voltam, és a szálloda ezt nagy empátiával, türelemmel és diszkrécióval kezelte – ez számomra felejthetetlen élmény marad. Őszintén gondolom, hogy ez egy olyan hely, ahová az embernek legalább egyszer az életében el kell jutnia. Ha valaki az ár miatt nem tud hosszabb időre maradni, akkor is érdemes akár csak néhány éjszakára ellátogatni – mi is így tettünk, és minden percét megérte. A Donna Portals számomra a nyugalom, a kifinomultság és az igazi ötcsillagos vendéglátás tökéletes példája. Szívből ajánlom mindenkinek.
