Location next to the Central station was perfect for our purpose. The hotel is very new and the suite we had was large with separate lounge room and excellent light through large windows. Quality of everything was excellent. All staff were very helpful. Communications were very good. Breakfast was good. Rooftop bar and restaurant was magic after sunset. Too hot when the sun was up.
Music at rooftop restaurant was not right for the setting. Loud thumper thumper techno African themed vibe was out of place with the setting and the people we observed.

Location was great. Cannot beat this location if you want to stay close to the main station, it was a very short walk and easy.
My suite had a welcome card addressed to someone else The girl at the reception was not polite, even though she could see I was tired and annoyed she kept insisting I decide on booking a taxi right away for next day's travel to the airport. I had to refuse twice. And then at checkout I was charged for my room again when I had already paid via booking.com Extremely disappointed.
Ottima posizione centrale
La camera presentava alcuni difetti, ovvero le luci non si spegnevano subito, il box doccia non si chiudeva completamente

Excellent. We were comfortable. We had complementary biscuits and breakfast was excellent. The welcome and professional way we were treated was notable. Concierge very professional
I would like to add that for 3 we were provided only with one water for the kettle for 2 days. On the last day yesterday the room was checked in the afternoon and we were provided water for all 3 and even some sweets. Thank you for this. It was very nice to see our room as it was. We paid considerable money for 3 nights.
Cleanliness and the proximity to train station. Amazing breakfast varieties and the staffs professionalism. The room was really comfortable.
It is quite far away from the historical center destinations, but not a big deal. The train stations are nearby.

Location: next to Roma Termini Staff: Nice Helpful
the roof top bar is wonderful. Samantha and Lorenzo made it even better with terrific service.
We ecently completed a 4-night stay at the NH Collection Roma Palazzo Cinquecento, in 2 rooms with my partner and his 14-year old daughter. We were placed at this hotel due to the delayed opening of the Hyatt Regency Rome Central, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. The hotel automatically assigned us to adjacent rooms, no request needed! The rooms were clean, comfortable and were nicely appointed. Our 1st floor rooms (considered 2nd floor in the US) had wonderful water pressure, which was appreciated since we were taking several showers a day to combat the hot Roman summer weather. The air conditioning was top tier for our American needs as well! Our standard rooms were on the small side, but that is to be expected and was not a problem at all. We had daily breakfast as they honored my Hyatt Globalist status and it was definitely a great way to start our day. Lots of great options to get us energized for the day. We did opt to walk to some pastry shops nearby as we did want to try some of the local pastries - and they did not disappoint! The location worked well for us - it was like a 2 minute walk to Rome Termini, so that simplified our transport from the airport, and for a day trip that we took to Naples. Yes, as in any large city near the main transportation hub, there are some areas that are not as clean, however the pros far outweighed the cons. We easily walked to/from Monti, the historic center, and other great neighborhoods that we wanted to spend time in, and we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
Overall we had a lovely experience staying at this hotel. The hotel is located just a 3-4 minutes walk from Termini station and from the entrance to the A/B metro line entrance. Check-in was quick and the woman was very courteous. The rooms are very large and modern. We had a lovely view of Palazzo Cinquecento. The room was absolutely spotless. Overall we would definitely stay at this hotel again!
I will be using fantastic, amazing and perfect a lot in this review, I don’t apologise for that as it’s rightly deserved! Located 2 minutes from Termini Station its location makes it easy for any taxis and is so convenient. The hotel itself is immaculate, when originally booking we wanted to stay in a hotel that wasn’t a “standardised” building that could be dropped into any city, we wanted to stay in a beautiful Italian hotel- this is it! The room was perfect, it had everything we wanted, the bed was very comfortable and we slept like babies. We booked a week and I believe you get what you pay for, so I was surprised and delighted with what we got. You can book a beautiful hotel but it will fall flat without perfect staff and again we were never left disappointed. I’d like to give a special reference to 5 people who really made our trip fantastic: Starting with the cleaning staff as I don’t believe they get enough credit - Lucia is incredible! I had to stop her from running to get what I asked for every time we spoke! We had signed on to not to have our room cleaned everyday so it was only if we wanted something that we would go ask and Lucia would go off at a sprint! Next Samantha who ran the bar and restaurant. When we first arrived we were a little lost and I’m sure Samantha saw that. She really put us both at ease with her friendly and professional manner. When we were unsure she gave sound advice and the food and service was fantastic! The front of the house staff - we were initially met by Daniele who booked us in. After a standard description of the facilities he then took extra time and effort explaining points of interest to visit and how to get there - he was brilliant! After we had settled in and had a few days of stumbling around the city in awe like the tourists we are we were always met at the front of the hotel by Buba. He is so friendly and helpful I really can’t put into words how much he made our stay. Rome is amazing and daunting in equal measure (so much to do and see). Buba was the perfect one to help us set off in the morning and calm me down on returning after a very hot and tiring day. Finally Febronia, she works the front desk and also the rooftop bar and restaurant. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary on the second day of our stay and we ate at the rooftop restaurant. The food was gorgeous and Febronia looked after us throughout that amazing meal. The next day I wanted to settle the bill for the meal and her advice was again perfect! Every single time my wife and I then walked past she would greet us with a wave and a smile. In summary I think anyone wanting an amazing experience in Rome needs a base to fall back to after a day of fantastic memories that does the city justice. Palazzo Cinquecento is exactly the place you want. My wife and I will no doubt be back and we won’t book anywhere else but Palazzo Cinquecento to stay. Thank you to all the staff (not just the ones I mentioned), you all really made our anniversary a special and memorable time away from home!
This is the best choice every time when I come to Roma ,the atmosphère and the staff of this hotel are pretty good, of course, the location is definitely perfect for the travelers, cos the termini train station is just 2mins walking! Will recommend this hotel to my friend!

Spent 4 days in Rome at this hotel. Hotel is in a good location and right next door to the main train station. A lot of attractions are walkable but we got taxis everywhere as very hot. Staff at the hotel are fantastic and could not be anymore helpful. They also made some great restaurant recommendations. We had a suite, which was very good and spacious. My daughter had her own space in the living room and said the sofa bed was comfortable. My bed was also really comfortable and nice pillows. A really big thank you to Elisabetta from guest relations. This was a last minute booking for us and she helped us book tours. Which are normally sold out this late. Great knowledge of all that Rome had to offer and all tours and tickets were perfect. We will return to Rome and this hotel, we have to now, as we have thrown our coins into the trevi fountain. Thank you to all the team at the NH.
My colleagues and I enjoyed exceptional service at the roof top bar. Bar manager Samanta and her staff were amazing. Delicious drinks and generous appetizers. We had so much fun, we returned for a night cap after dinner. Lucky for us, the same staff was still on duty! Thank you all! ( Visited July 27, 2026 )
la ubicación perfecta para lo que yo necesitaba, la habitación muy bonita y el desayuno excelente
As a GHA Titanium member with a clear sense of what this tier of hotel should deliver, this is the first time I've ever walked away feeling scammed. I took some time before writing this review to let my initial frustration settle and make sure I was being fully objective, and I don't believe this property reflects true GHA Signature Luxury standards. Here's why. Cleanliness: The bathroom had a grimy, poorly maintained drainage grate and visible dirt buildup in the corners and shower track (see attached photos). I also found a dead insect on the floor. For a room priced at 365 EUR a night, this is not a standard of upkeep any 5-star property should accept, regardless of room type. Billing: On top of that, and this was the biggest shock, I was charged 5.90 EUR for a branded bottle of water that was never opened at the table, it was unsealed house water, despite staff mentioning an in-house filtration system. To be clear, I don't have an issue paying for proper bottled water, that's standard practice anywhere. My issue is being billed for a sealed, branded product I never received. This is in a city that proudly offers over 2,500 free public drinking fountains, and yet the hotel charged a premium for something that wasn't even what it was claimed to be, which is exactly the kind of practice that made me feel scammed. Room: I had booked a Premium Double Terrace. On arrival, I was told I'd been upgraded to a Suite, which sounded like a nice gesture. In practice, the room I received was the accessible-modified version of that Suite category, ground floor, with a layout built around accessibility features rather than the space, view, or finish a Suite designation typically implies. Accessible rooms serve an important and valid purpose for guests who need them, but calling this a Suite upgrade without mentioning it was the accessible configuration felt misleading, the label of a premium room without the actual premium experience. Street work outside was also audible in the room for parts of the stay, and the air conditioning unit was loud enough to be noticeable overnight, neither is a great sign of soundproofing or maintenance at this level. Dining: At the rooftop restaurant, we ordered a salad for 25 EUR that had almost no flavor, consisted of only five ingredients, and the croutons were completely soggy. We left half of it untouched on the plate, and no staff member checked whether anything was wrong or asked why it was left. At a hotel like this, you'd also expect small five-star touches, more than one bottle of water in the room, help with bags, turndown service, and none of that was there either. I also can't speak to amenities like a spa or pool, since nothing was mentioned to me at check-in. But I'm not even focused on that level of detail. My real concern is that this property didn't meet the basics I'd expect from a much lower category hotel: clean surfaces, an upgrade that's actually an upgrade, being charged accurately for what's served. That's why I'm questioning whether this still qualifies as 5-star, Signature Luxury quality. On the plus side, toiletries offered good variety, and the team accommodated a late checkout request without issue. For Context: I understand this property is located in Rome right next to the central train station, and I recognize that location alone carries real value for many travelers, even if some might argue it shouldn't be the main justification for a 5-star. For further context and comparison, I stayed at the sister property nhow Roma Vittorio Veneto, a 4-star hotel, just a week prior for roughly half the price, and received double the quality, space, and service. It genuinely makes me question how this property maintains an official 5-star rating, and what exactly justifies a 365 EUR price tag for what I experienced. I raised these concerns directly with hotel management before leaving. Verdict: Location next to Termini is a real convenience, but convenience isn't what a 5-star, Signature Luxury designation is supposed to certify, that designation should mean consistent attention to detail, cleanliness, and honest billing, not a coin flip on whether basic standards are met. This stay failed on all three.
Just an overnight business stay but so convenient to take the Da Vinci express train from the airport to the main termini station in Rome and literally cross the road to this hotel. I had a lovely room overlooking the small garden and station square and considering the location I was pleasantly surprised to be able to sleep with the window open without too much noise. Check in was efficient and friendly and super breakfast the next morning. My only criticism was a very slow waiter at around 5.30/6pm when a group of us wanted one drink before dinner and after 30 mins and a service of crisps, nuts and snacks and still no drinks, despite asking a few times, a few colleagues gave up and left.
We originally booked Hyatt Regency Rome Central, but due to delays in opening, Hyatt comped our stay at NH Roma instead. Since it was technically free, I did not have high expectations. We were on the second floor, facing the street. You can definitely hear the street noise, street sweeping, garbage truck, etc.. Our stay also included daily breakfast buffet, it was fine. But we got bored on day 3. Housekeeping was minimal, I really don’t think they vacuumed our floors at all. I wrote a note for housekeeping that are shampoo bottle was empty, and yet they did not even bother swapping. My note was untouched inside the shower. The shower stall was very small, but the pressure was great. We do love the convenience next to Roma Termini. But I doubt I would pay to stay here again.
I was worried the location by Termini would mean funny crowd hanging out outside the hotel but the area has improved a lot esp when comparing to similar locations in Paris around main train stations for instance The hotel is clean, room are spacious and staff were friendly without affectation - and the AC had bern set to a lev comfortable without being a freezer like it sometimes is in hotels targeting American tourists so overall a good experience esp for a business traveler with the express train to the airport just a few minutes walk away
We very much appreciated the well trained and hospitable staff, especially Claudia whom was extremely helpful with recommendations and reservations. The breakfast is excellent, great location and the rooftop is very scenic.
We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The location was terrific allowing us to get a train from the airport into Rome and just walk across the road from Rome Termini to the hotel. Staff were so helpful and accommodating and we received a complimentary upgrade. Having stayed at NH Collection hotels before in other countries we knew we would have a fabulous time at this one.
Amazing location and staff, specially Giulia, very gentle and professional. The view of my room was amazing.
The hotel itself is great! We did read some reviews of negative side of being close to Termini Station. We had no issues whatsoever in our case.
Our bartender Samantha was amazing! She was helpful, accommodating, and willing to assist us in customizing our drink and food requests! She always had a smile each time we saw her!!!! Also, The young lady at Guest Services (her name I believe is Nyde) was amazing!! For every question I had, she had the answer, and she phoned the businesses for me making it easier to communicate my concerns with them. Overall, our stay was great! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
飯店位置很方便,在火車站旁邊,房間冷氣強,早餐算豐盛
Si
Close to railway station.
Nothing, everything was lovely.
We stayed at the NH Collection Roma-Palazzo Cinquencento and the experience has been amazing! The staff has been attentive, professional and personable all in one. No detail was too small and no gesture was too grand. The JR Suites had towel warmers, comfy robes and plush slippers. In addition, there was handy clothes steamer in the closet and a welcome travel kit in the bathroom. All were items were much appreciated. You were pleasantly greeted and assisted upon entering or leaving the hotel at every turn and always felt safe. My family of 8 and myself enjoyed our stay and will patron here again or another NH Collection hotel in the future. Lastly, the Guest Relation Manager, Eunice “Nice” Mucavele, was the cherry on top with her warm and inviting conversation. She made us feel at home and very relaxed.
My family stayed here for 5 days. Great central location to get around Rome. Beautiful hotel with awesome amenities. The breakfast was plentiful and had many options for those with various dietary restrictions. The staff was amazing and very helpful from the front desk to security to house keeping, all were very attentive to our needs. The Guest Relations Manager Nice was amazing and really went out of her way to take care of us. Others who stood out were Diop, barlady Savannah and Lorenzo from the rooftop bar and Lorenzo from the front desk and many others who's names I can't recall. We would definitely stay here again.
We were thankful for the close proximity of the hotel to the train station due to all the walking we had done throughout our trip in Italy. Walkable distance to the Colosseum and other sights. The hotel was impressive as well with large rooms and bathrooms. Immaculate. Quiet at night. What impressed us the most was the customer service even before our stay that went above and beyond. Alessandro in the front office was able to coordinate shipping of a package with our previous hotel of left behind items and arranged for acceptance and payment before our arrival. Eseniya at the front desk, who accepted the package on our behalf. To our gratitude, the package was waiting for us at check-in. She was also able to facilitate an upgrade of our family room to a larger arrangement (2 conjoining rooms) when the initial room was too small for our family. We would definitely stay here again!
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel despite the high price. The location right next to Roma Termini cannot be beat. Rooms are small but very clean and bright. Good service.

A very good hotel with very new, clean facilities and a great location! The breakfast is delicious, one of the best we had during our entire vacation in Italy. The rooftop venue we visited on Saturday was excellent: wonderful food, good music, and excellent service.
We found the person stationed at the entrance odd; when we returned to the hotel after our long walks around Rome, he came up to me asking what I was carrying in my wallet along with the room key! It was very strange, to say the least. Another odd thing is that these same staff members seem to be there just for show; they don't open the door, let alone help with luggage. It doesn't fit the hotel!
posizione eccellente vicino alla stazione, ristorante e servizio in camera ottimo, ho utilizzato il servizio lavanderia espressa ed il rooftop bar per un soggiorno eccezionale
Great property - lovely rooms, superb service and the perfect location especially for travellers to or from the Termini.
Sooo close to the train station, they gave us late checkout because we didn't get in until 6am, hahah
Great location, very centrally located and if it wasn't for the heat, could have probably walked everywhere. Right next to the train station, so easy to get a bit further as well. Lots of great restaurants and places to eat nearby. thr rooftop bar was nice, but not as elegant as I would have expected. We were also pleasantly surprised by an upgrade.
I think some of the communication - I asked for twin beds, in writing beforehand and during check in, and though they said yes - the room was not made into twin. When they came to make the room while we were out, they did not clear away some fruit peel etc that was left. The coffee machine was broken and water leaked - they said they would send someone straightaway, and it was just the room cleaning staff then cleaned up the water, but the machine remained as it was - so was not replaced or repaired, with the unfilled cup in place. They also cleared away empty water bottles but not the empty coffee cup. Only one bottle of hotel water for 2 people. Long wait at reception for service and also very small lobby for the size of hotel, so we had to stand about waiting. All in all - just not what you would expect from what is meant to be a 5 star hotel, especially at 5 star prices.
We have had a blast at the NH. The service is wonderful. The bar service is a highlight at the lobby bar and the magnificent rooftop terrace. Samanta has taken great care of our group each evening as we’ve enjoyed the night views of Rome. Bonus - the location next to Termini allowed us easy access to transportation.
The NH Collection was a perfectly located hotel that served as a good launch point to explore Rome. With close proximity to the Termini train station, it was convenient to have access to public transit as well as black car service. The hotel is modern, with great attention to detail and a convenient 5th floor rooftop bar and restaurant. The rooms are reasonably sized and very clean; overall, the rooms are also quiet given the location. Staff are attentive and made an effort to remember guests, and the service was terrific. I relied on AmEx’s curated hotel collection to find this property, and for about $750/night for each room, it was a great value with the AmEx benefits for a 5-star property.
I have just completed delivering a professional development program at the NH Collection Roma Palazzo Cinquecento. The location is excellent, conveniently situated next to Roma Termini. The hotel is well maintained, offers a premium atmosphere, and the meeting facilities were well suited for the program. What stood out most, however, were: * The quality of the food * The professionalism, responsiveness, and service orientation of the staff My sincere thanks to Anna, Irene, and the entire team for their support throughout the week. Your efforts contributed significantly to a positive learning experience for all participants.
Close to termini
Not very clean, restaurant was overpriced snd not very good
Amazing great spot with great service!!
Super location for us (we wanted to be near station), breakfast was brilliant, friendly staff and room was clean/ good sized
地理位置很棒
The overall experience was ruined by the front desk. While other staff members were very friendly, Febiona, who checked us in, was extremely cold. Her attitude was so off-putting that we didn't even feel like reporting a technical issue with our shower head. The hotel has a 5-star location, but the service is far from reaching that standard
Location, palazzo ben ristrutturato, silenzioso
Bagno e colazione. Perdeva acqua dalla doccia. La colazione; scelta normale.
My wife and I went to the rooftop bar after a long day to relax. The bartender on, a young woman made probably the best mixed drink I have had in 20 years. This drink made my day, she had a great personality and it showed up in that drink. Green silk.

Breakfast was great good choice of both cold and hot . Staff were very accommodating
Shower needed an update in bathroom
Anna Valiante really helps us for our business meeting with prompt and kind response. Thx.
Great location close to Roma Termini. Very pleasant staff, good bedroom and bathroom, well appointed throughout. Only 4 stars as the rooftop terrace and bar was closed to guests for private functions on three of our five nights. Would definitely stay here again.
It is a beautiful hotel. Great views and right next to the station. 20 min walk to Trevi fountain
The front desk staff were not friendly at all and seemed quite disinterested in any questions
This was an amazing hotel. I do want to give a shout out to Elisabetta, the concierge young Lady, so very helpful, all the staff was fantastic. Another shout out to a Lady, Michela, serving the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The breakfasts were over the top! the rooms were lovely, it had the Best bidet I have had on the whole trip. Everyone simply went out of their way. I would stay here again.
Exelente
Muy bueno
Good hotel, rooms are ok, beds are nice, pillows are amazing, you actually get to sleep and relax. The bathroom is kind of small (counter space). Breakfast is ok, staff is very friendly. If you are looking for a good hotel close to Termino, this is a great choice
Close to train station
Room was not cleaned properly. Especially bathroom and shower
Exceptional service and a very nice room with a good bed. A rooftop bar with a beautiful sunset view. Would love to come back.
立地が良い。駅が目の前で列車でナポリに移動する際とても便利だった。
The hotel is lovely, located adjacent to Termini station and we had comfortable bedding in a larger sized room. The breakfast is a real standout. The outdoors area is perfect in the cool morning temps. This morning, we enjoyed the music of a pianist who is truly gifted. He did covers of Sting, Elton and the Doobies but classics as well. I wish I had his name but hope the hotel GM will recognize him. Also, thanks to Walid for our pre-stay communication. We loved our room because of you! Another breakfast standout was Alessia, she ran circles around other employees on duty. They could use more people to clear the dishes from the outdoor tables as none were available for about 20 minutes between 8 and 830. The front desk staffing was very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants. I would stay here again.
The hotel staff is amazing. I love staying here because of the atmosphere and how they make you feel so special. Everyone greets you with a beautiful smile. It says a lot about this hotel.
Great property in good location. Right next to train station and bus terminal and central to a walk to many sights. Very nice staff and service.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff was helpful.
Nice hotellä.However they ripped me off when I redeemed my D$ dollars. At the front desk the informed me that I would take approx 30 Days before I was going to be credited. After 45 days nothing has been refunded. After several mails to Minor hotels the last mail stated that the hotel did not recall my redeem. This i nothing but robbing me as a customer and also not a way a serious hotel will act.So beware of the fake reedem process.Alsobss I have been a regular visitor both in Rome and I Torino.Obsviously they do not care although I have spent thousands of Euro.
Molto attrezzato per disabili
Loved the hotel. Amazing location. Beautiful hotel. The team is fantastic. They genuinely care and enjoy their profession. They made our vacation special - each and everyone... so thank you so much. Second time in NH ...not the last:):):)
We spent 3 nights here to begin a tour of Italy. Everything about this hotel was just marvelous. The two things we insist on is cleanliness and quiet. The room was spotless and we didn't hear a peep from anything during our nights sleeping there. All of the staff were marvelous. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had 3 terrific breakfasts there too and we'd stay again in a flash.
It was an elegant establishment. The rooms were nicely appointed and the hotel was certainly first class.
Room check-in was disorganised when it could have been easily streamlined

Samanta, the bartender, was amazing and very hospitable. She was very friendly and was very helpful with what we were searching for in Rome and in what to drink.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The front desk employee's named Alessandro, Ylenia, and Maria were the most helpful hotel employees that I have ever met! I highly recommend you stay here whenever you are in Rome!
