Bed was filthy grainy and sweaty as if it hadn’t been changed in weeks. I was told it had been but the lady working didn’t even want to touch it. And I was supposed to sleep in it. I called a number of times and no one answered to ask for sheets so I can cover it and have some over me. Fortunately I found myself some. I travel a lot and this room was 1 of the worst I’ve ever stayed in. It looked like it hadn’t been dusted in weeks, toilet roll ran out, shower broke, burns on the tables, grime on the mirror and shower glass that made my hands sticky, towel rail broke and we were given only hand towels, hair on the watermelon at breakfast. Only available food was pizza, which wasn’t that nice. I wasn’t allowed to change rooms. I wouldn’t have my wedding here if I was paid to.

It was noisy you could hear music from the event happening on site till 10:30pm and my neighbours who were loudly chatting in their rooms. The location of this hotel is in an industrial park which i wouldn't want to walk to at night. My room was very dated and was right beside a skip drop off centre where they started from very early in the morning. Breakfast was also poor. My family were not informed until they arrived at the hotel that the lift was broken and they had no ground floor accessible rooms even though it was on the booking so they had to pay for another hotel close by.

As always, very clean and tidy hotel. The lady staff in the reception was very pleasant and friendly.

There were 2 weddings going on and the car park was full, so had to park the car away from the hotel until the wedding finished around 10pm and moved the car back to the hotel. Not a big deal.

The lift was broken for the whole of our stay, the carpets thread bare on stairs, breakfast was extremely poor and very little choice and quite poor quality (there was no English breakfast choices) and the juice was basically water The room itself was sad and in need of restoration… the air con leaked, the windows didn’t open (which to me is unsafe as I’d be stuck if there was a fire outside the room), the furniture was broken and not at all like the photos on the advert… we stayed in executive suite 217 but there was nothing executive/posh about it. The bathroom was dirty and the bath had a hole which had been badly repaired, there was also no taps to fill the bath you had to use the shower which meant it took ages to fill. Broken mirror light and shelving missing. The paint was patchy on the walls in the bedroom/lounge where parts had been missed. The furniture was mismatched and not at all as depicted in the photos, the sofa was broken and propped up again the wall to hide this. Can’t open the curtains because they were broken. When moved the sofa to try and open a window, it was dirty with hair and dust on the floor. When we highlighted this to the staff they just nodded as if they already knew… especially about the window. The room was very noisy because of the broken window due to all the traffic in the early morning.

We arrive at 6pm, expecting to be able to get food only to be told that due to the large wedding they were not serving food. When asked where we can get food (as the hotel is in an industrial estate) the chap said we could order in, we did not want to eat in our room so we venture out. The lift in the hotel was broken there were takeaway bags and used plates in the hall and a trolley of dirty sheets on the landing in front of the lift. We were told the wedding would finish at 9pm, it finished at 2am, they were really noisy outside and the smell weed through our window was very strong even though there were security guards outside. Security then called our room at 2am and asked us to move our car into the car park. Our car was not blocking anything nor parked on double yellow lines so there was no need to move it or to be woken at 2am! The shower was a dribble and the breakfast was appalling. I then received an email from the hotel saying they were going to charge me for the room key that I left in the express check out box - it hadn't even been checked. I am not sure who is running the hotel but it needs a serious shake up

Breakfast was good. Lots of choice. The room although a little small was clean and comfortable. Cleaners came in every day and cleaned the room, made my bed and freshened up towels. Location was not close to anything in walking distance but having a carpark was great as I could drive out to get an evening meal in Purley. Staff were really friendly, especially the women on reception, she was so helpful.

It would have been nice to have somewhere to hang my clothes rather than on hooks on doors.

The mattress was hard . Pillows were hard . The advertised coffee machine was a kettle. The bin and toilet brush was rusty. And the Aircon didn't work. The view was air vents . The breakfast menu was poor . because we had tinned hotdogs. No scrambled eggs Or fried eggs . The apple juice was purple. There was a wide variety of choice And the dinner menu consist of pizza or curry.or fish and chips no extras. It was advertised quite time 10 pm -7pm . There was still shouting and people messaging about in the hallways at 11pm Bed light flashed so couldn't use

Firstly, overrated and old furnishing, lifts out of order since forever. Too expensive to be £135 / night with old bathroom floors, no toothpaste even in the bathroom The security guy was outrightly rude. Honestly this hotel should not be more than £65/night

Everything looked beautiful especially the decorations looked like your in Dubai.

The toilet had strong smell of sewage but no visible leaking and the corridors smell strong of cigarette smoke

Arrived at 11pm no staff present at the desk so we had to search the building for staff despite the desk being open till midnight.

The room was very basic I’m not sure why it was so expensive as there was nothing special about it. I requested the nicest room and my request was accepted they should definitely have bigger nicer rooms in the hotel for special occasions The lift was not working

Compared to the lobby the rooms were outdated. Hotel is also wedding venue so expect it to be super busy as guests arrive.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking was very convenient and the hotel worked well for a short business stay.

Staff very friendly, beds were nice and solid, room temperature control was good with AC unit. Everything you would expect was present.

Room service for food no indication of what time its available up until, went to order something around 8:30pm and told it was unavailable, not the end of the world but would have been nice if there was a notice on the menu.

Evening Reception staff was very polite amd helpful and apologetic that the room was prepared for us.

The sofa bed was not made up ready for 3 occupancy room so transferred to a family room. The beds were like concrete and the room was not clean. No hairdryer and towel hooks broken in the bathroom. Breakfast was appalling too, all the tables had dirty plates etc. on them as they had not been cleared away. Cheapest shop bought bread for toast. No tomatoes or mushrooms with the hot buffet and orange juice was a manufactured drink similar to Sunny Delight! Coffee was instant. My husband was in a wheelchair and the day staff did not offer to help with opening the doors whilst I was pushing the wheelchair. Spoke to the morning Receptionist who asked how things were with our stay, I explained the situation and she said that yes they were aware of how bad the beds were but nothing had been sorted as of yet. She passed on her apologies (no offer of a discount) but said hope they can do better next time!!!!!!!!

Returning customer and fourth stay here since 2018, old rooms now need a bit of update. Nice, clean and tidy in most of the places, daily housekeeping, quite rooms mostly but can get some industrial noice in morning due to location being in an industrial area, you get free 500mls water bottles. Ample parking inside. If I'll revisit again after this- may be yes/no depending on convineance but based on breakfast experience- may be not.

1. Buffet breakfast - a very big let down this time. They have limited the menu now but the main issue was not replenishing the items which were finished and even when they were re filled only enough for 4-5 people. Keep on asking for fruits, cutlery, croissants, eggs etc. They used to take 5-10 mins to replenish and then quickly finished again, also just 1-2 people replenishing items. Whenever challenged the reason was we don't want food to go to waste! What a lame excuse for cost-cutting measures. Even the juices, they re-fill it with a jug! Maximum 1-2 litres and once finished asked them again. Please work on this. Never seen this in any other big B&B chains. 2. Used to get some welcome drinks on check in, not anymore. 3. Limited number of fridges - we asked them in advance and got it on second day. Do remember to request in advance.

Amazing luxurious hotel

The room was clean and I really appreciated the air con since the weather was quite hot. The bed was comfy and the room was a decent size for the price. Some of the staff were particularly helpful.

I was really disappointed to find that my room didn't have a wardrobe or closet even though it was said to have one. When I mentioned this to staff, they weren't aware the room had no closet(which I found odd) and I was given hangers on which to hang my clothes on hooks. I did request to be moved to another room, but was told the alternative was smaller. So I ended up just staying in the closet-less room.

⚠️ PURE NIGHTMARE — DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL EVEN IF IT IS FREE! ⚠️ This was the most stressful, anxiety-inducing hotel experience of my life, and I am writing this to warn other families so they never have to suffer the way my family suffered. We booked 2 rooms, a premium Executive Room, and one family room. but the hotel completely failed us from check-in to check-out. The room was like a boiling oven because the luxury built-in air conditioning was entirely broken and blowing hot air in so called EXECUTIVE ROOM Instead of moving us, staff brought a cheap water cooler fan with melting ice that made the bedroom incredibly hot, damp, and humid. My wife became physically ill from the heat, and my young son—who has severe ADHD and sensory processing needs—was in extreme distress all night. To make matters worse, the internal both rooms door locks were completely broken. We could not lock our doors from the inside, creating a massive, terrifying security and privacy violation. Anyone from the corridor could have walked straight into our room while my children were sleeping. The level of customer service was disgustingly cold and unbothered. For the entire 24 hours of our stay, not a single member of staff paid attention to us or tried to help. When I confronted the owner directly at checkout about the broken locks and unlivable heat, he literally shrugged his shoulders, said a dismissive "OK," and walked away. They do not care about your safety, your money, or your children's health. Avoid this place at all costs! Regards, Unhappy/ disappointed Customer.

Most amazing place

Great a/c, decent breakfast, and a great value for money. Location was superb for my purposes, and that was the mean reason I chose it. Staff were very friendly, and expectations (about having a physical ID etc.) were very clearly communicated in advance. The parking lot was easily accessible, and right next door.

The carpet in the room was worn and stained. Most strangely, the shower did not have a ledge or a shower caddy, so there was nowhere to put soap/shampoo. A strange oversight, which could be potentially dangerous for someone with balance issues, who might try and lean out of the shower to reach the bathroom shelf for supplies. I could tolerate the other issues if this one were resolved, in a future stay.

The breakfast was not good. Very little options and what was there for the cooked breakfast was not good. I saw on another review someone said similar thing. Response was that they cater more towards event guests. ALL guests should be treated equally. No one is better than anyone else. We are ALL guests. Also although the room was not an accessible one my mum can usually manage the toilet but the one in room was too low so had to go to disabled toilets in/near reception. In addition to this the surrounding location is not wheelchair friendly (not hotels fault) but very difficult in pushing someone in a wheelchair outside and around hotel

I stayed here for an event, and the beds were comfortable, and the rooms not too bad. The event centre itself and the catering were the only major positive of this place. In addition, the staff are extremely nice and trustworthy, as my partner forgot her shoes in the party the first night, and I was able to go back the next morning and they had collected every left items they found, and I was able to get her shoes back. Most other event centres, if those shoes were left, they would be gone!

The shower in the rooms had the tap inverted so hot was cold and cold was hot. The rooms were quite small, with no iron provided, and for a place that runs an event centre downstairs, I figured they would realise a lot of people would need this facility. The lifts broke down like at least 5 times in the two days I was there, which is quite difficult if you're staying on the second floor and have to walk up stone stairs. In addition, the next morning, the breakfast was very simplistic and left very little to be desired.

Decent location and staff were faultless.

For an events venue, the hotel is so poor. 1. The rooms are extremely outdated, looks very old inside the rooms (nothing like the lobby). 2. The mattresses are awful; I cannot express this enough. We stay at hotels all around the world and in the UK and these are the worst beds we have ever slept on. Hard, springs digging into your back and I’m in pain after one night’s sleep here. This alone would make me never come back. 3. AC didn’t work - it would turn on for 30secs and then turn itself off. Tried troubleshooting but to no avail. 4. The complimentary breakfast is awful. The hotel should either charge customers and offer a proper breakfast or just end the breakfast altogether. Even the tea and coffee was just a hot water station with the little sachets you usually get in hotel rooms.

The actual location, it's great if you have your own transport or can afford a taxi. If you need public transport it feels a bit vulnerable walking from the bus stop to the hotel at night. However the general location compared to the airport and getting into central London is good. I also wished there was a fridge in the room I stayed in.

The rooms/bathroom needs a bit more work. The bathroom sink the water didn’t drain quickly. The soap holder was broken and rusty. They bins need changing as they are also rusting and too small.

This hotel looks nice from the pics. In reality it is on an industrial estate and caters for large functions only. There is no restaurant, bar or lounge. The room has a sparse menu providing room service food only. Ok if you're attending a function and just want somewhere to sleep. Apparently there is a breakfast available in one of the fiction rooms. We didn't stay and were refunded the fee.

Although the entire hotel is non-smoking, someone was smoking heavily, so that the stench of smoke spread throughout the entire corridor and even entered our room. After we reported it to the reception, the staff took steps to eliminate the problem. The breakfast was very poor. There was no staff, so if a previous guest had finished breakfast, the dishes were left on the table.

It was clean and the room was adequate for what we required.
