Loved the laidback atmosphere of the hotel and the ski chalet vibe. Nice to have a pool and gym plus plenty of communal seating areas. We had a large, spacious suite which was great for a large family. Fantastic location - just 5 minute walk to a stunning private beach (access included with our stay).

Would have been nice to have some more crockery and cutlery in our apartment. We had intended to self-cater, but the limited kitchenware made that difficult.

The fire pits and s’mores were a fun addition. The hot tub was hot and clean. The room was immaculate.

The advertising was misleading. I thought there was a breakfast included. It was available but you had to pay extra for it.

Rooms were spacious and location was excellent. Just 8mins walk away from the beach. Had loads of food options around. The fire and free marshmallows were a cute touch. Everything was squeaky clean and had good toiletries were provided.

There’s no lift for upper floor rooms. The food options were not up-to the mark at all. Staff were a bit stoic and unusual. May be staffs at other places were extremely joyful and welcoming so far so it was a bit contrasting.

Vom Hotel erhält man außerdem kostenlosen Zugang zum Lake Tahoe, was wir richtig toll fanden. Der Strand ist sehr schön und sauber und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Da wir tolles Wetter hatten, konnten wir unser mitgebrachtes Frühstück morgens draußen auf der Hotelanlage genießen. Auch abends war es sehr angenehm, dort noch etwas Zeit zu verbringen – wie auch viele andere Gäste. Den Gästen steht eine große Gemeinschaftsküche zur Verfügung, in der man sich Geschirr, heißes Wasser und vieles mehr holen kann. Besonders schön fanden wir die Marshmallows und Schokolade am Abend, die man über dem Feuer erwärmen konnte – eine wirklich nette Idee. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt ist die Größe der Zimmer, die doch recht klein ausfallen.

Die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein. Da wir zu viert unterwegs waren, war es teilweise schwierig, an die Koffer zu kommen, da diese im Zimmer gestapelt werden mussten.

When we arrived the front desk was extremely rude and not helpful at all and made it seem we were bothering them. Then they said are room would more then likely would not be ready early and check in was at 4 we arrived around 2, with a 4 and 6 yr old. They said we could use the beach but never told us how to get there and then turned around to chat. At 4 I went in to get checked in and they said it would be 30 more minutes. About 15 minutes later the manager arrived and saw we had been waiting and gave us a different room but unfortunately it was on the third floor and with kids and have a balcony was not super safe and the room smelled. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately we will not be returning. Hope they can get better front desk staff

1- L’hôtel est bien placé entre la lac et Heavenly. Style ancien sympa. 2- On a eu la visite d'un ours noir dans l’hôtel le soir alors qu'on buvait tranquillement un verre de vin dehors. Bon, j'ai personnellement aimé cette rencontre, mais je ne suis pas sûr que ca plairait à tous les clients :-) 3- Accès à la plage privée donné avec la chambre d'hotel 4- Le brasero dehors le matin ou le soir 5- La meilleure douche de mes vacances aux USA, avec une bonne pression

1- Mauvaise insonorisation. Les bâtiments datent des années 60, donc vous vivez avec le voisin de dessus ... Boules Quies recommandées. 2- L’hôtel laisse des poubelles non protégées dehors, ce qui ne respecte pas les règles de bon sens dans un territoire à ours. Toutes les poubelles publiques dans la rue sont elles bien protégées en métal à South lake Tahoe. Ca explique peut-être pourquoi un ours est venu dans l’hôtel (et a fouillé cette poubelle à coté de la chambre). Certainement un habitué.

The checkin station is at the coffee station so if you’re checking in the girl at the desk is multitasking between food orders checking etc. no one told me we could use the bicycles so i was walking everywhere when there were bikes accessible. No one went over any of the “amenities” with me at check in but she was having to do about 10 other things

Our room had shower for wheelchair access, so it was big and open, the problem is that without noticing the water wasn't draining properly, after i was done showing i discovered that the entire hallway in the room was completely flooded Idk why its my fault But i haven't received my deposit back By how the floor looks its definitely not the first time

It is a great location and the common area is extremely nice. The fire pits were a nice touch along with the complimentary s’mores. Kids at the property were having a blast.

The food was mediocre and the 15% off from booking was acknowledged and not given. The pillows were uncomfortable and the TV rarely worked in the evenings when we were back in the room. The room was never swept and there were crumbs and beads from when we arrived to when we left. There is no laundry on site although Google had said there was.

Great location and setup

Room was sold via booking . com as suitable for 2 adults and 1 14 year old daughter. The room only had one bed and was not suitable for this occupancy. Many hotels have temporary beds that they would add to allow enough sleeping space for the booked occupancy. There were no other hotels available to move to - so I went to camping shop and bought a inflatable matress and spent 2 very uncomfortable nights on the floor.

Hotel urządzony bardzo nowocześnie, pokój przestronny - dostaliśmy pokój z dwiema oddzielnymi sypialniami, co bylo bardzo wygodne dla naszej rodziny. Dostępny parking zaraz przy wejściu do pokoju. Pokój dobrze wyposażony w kosmetyki, ręczniki, gniazdka USBC, nawet kilka telewizorów, z których nie korzystaliśmy :) bardzo przyjemna część wspólna, gdzie można miło spędzić wieczór, z częścią barowa. Rano można wypić tak darmową kawę oraz zakupić dobre śniadanie. Basen zewnętrzny czynny do 22. Dostępne różne gry dla dla dzieci i dorosłych. Naprawdę przyjemny, wygodny, estetyczny i klimatyczny hotel.

Ściany są bardzo cieniutkie - słychać bardzo głośno wszystkie odgłosy sąsiadów (w naszym przypadku z góry). My bylismy tylko na jedną noc i szybko zasnęliśmy, więc nie było to uciążliwe - ale wyobrażam sobie, ze przy dłuższym pobycie mogłoby się dawać we znaki.

We liked the spacious rooms, and the bunk beds were a good feature that our family really enjoyed. We liked the access to the South Lake Tahoe beach area, which was only a couple blocks' walk away, along with the complimentary passes to that beach.

But it would have been better if: a) elevators were present to go up to the room; b) the air conditioner's remote control system had a button that needed to be pushed to really cool the room; I think it was called "enhanced"; c) if a closet was present in the master bedroom.

Great walkable location, close to the beach, downtown SL Tahoe and Stateline. The vibe was relaxed with nice touches like the large fire pits, cocktail bar, and self service kitchen (microwave, toasters, etc).

They offer bikes free to guests, but there was only one adult size bike available and we had gotten there first thing in the morning.

It is a bit of a unconventional set up and was not expecting that based on the description and reviews. The room seemed a little sparse, but clean. It's also a little noisy; it's very close to the outdoor arena in So Tahoe. We could hear the music VERY clearly. Concert was done a little after 11.

I loved the vibes… they had an espresso bar, game area with comfy furniture, a bar, pool, hot tub, and s’mores! Location was great; within walking distance of multiple restaurants and shops.

Walls are paper thin, room service is basically occasional towel service but might skip a few days but things barely ever got cleaned. I think our room was sort of cleaned one time in 5 days. We got towels twice. We could hear everyone and everything all night and all day so resting was tough.

The different areas to sit outside. The pool and access to the private beach. The kitchen area for a drink or plates for a Wholefoods takeout dinner.

There is no seating in your room except outside on the terrace and the room we had could take a small table and chairs. The room is painted in dark colours and the lighting is also quite dim. There are also sharp wooden corners on the bed.

The property was in a great location, just a 2-minute drive from Lake Tahoe. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good place to stay for a few days. The staff was friendly, and the overall stay was enjoyable.

The rooms could use some updates, and the sound insulation wasn’t the best. Door was rough Other than that, we had a pleasant stay.

Kein Frühstück, Zimmer sehr klein, Bad dafür sehr groß. Sehr einfach eingerichtet, etwas unbequem zum Sitzen, keine Sitzmöglichkeiten bzw. Tisch/Schreibtisch. Keine Mikrowelle. Betten bequem aber hatte den Eindruck Betten hatten evtl. Milben (starker Juckreiz nur in diesem Hotel/von ca. 18 Hotels). Ursache allerdings nicht nachvollziehbar. Rezeption wurde informiert.

It was way overpriced for the type of room we stayed in. It was small full of dust. No elevator. The hot tub in the pool area was dirty, and super old tub. The paint was chipping off and had a foul smell.

We like the communal areas including the pool, fire pits, and lounge. We also liked the gym.

At check-in we were not greeted like other guests. There was not a hello or welcome, the male worker just asked for an id and credit card. He greeted the next guest by saying welcome sir (monsieur). This felt icky as a queer person. Also, the photos on booking were more impressive than the hotel itself. The photos don’t show the exterior. When you arrive to the hotel, it’s more of a converted motel vibe.

They have everything in house already, they’ve got a restaurant, coffee shop and bar which makes it really convenient. A pool and a jacuzzi, with a communal area where you can eat/ heat up food or just play board games. Lots of seating, indoor and outdoor. The interior was impeccable. Really loved how cozy it looked! Rooms were comfortable and had good lighting.

The communal areas are absolutely wonderful. The special perks such as complimentary nightly s’mores and bikes make up for some wear on the room; which could use some updating, but not a deal-breaker.

Bathroom needs shelves no place to hang a towel or clothes

De desayuno solo incluía el cafe. Lo demás habia que pagarlo. AL llegar tambien pagamos la cena pero cerraban a las 9pm por lo que solo pudimos pedir algo rápido. Probamos le Jacuzzi y estaba bastante limpio al final de día y la piscina también. Las sillas de la terraza eran muy cómodas y el sol de la mañana muy agradable con el café. La cama muy cómoda, la habitación amplia y el coche se podía dejar gratis justo en la puerta de la habitación. Nos dieron entrada para la playa más cercana privada pero no lo utilizamos.

Nos habría gustado al menos desayunar algo. La cena no nos encantó. Pizza, tacos... Se puede comprar y llevar algo porque hay una nevera pequeña. Hay tostador con el café.

Bedding. The bed was so soft that there was no getting comfortable. Maybe this room was an odd one out, but unfortunately for us it resulted in lack of sleep. Also note you must cross a busy for some of the rooms.

Location is great, very central. Staff were polite and the coffee was good in the morning! There are plenty of common spaces to hang in other than your room. We were traveling with two small children and everyone was really sweet to them!.

The room layout (2 queen disability access room) was challenging for setting up our pack and play for our baby because the area that made the most sense for it to go was getting blasted by the AC fan. I mean compared to the rest of the room it was absolutely ice cold in that area. Very unbalanced fan effect really. We ended up having to be forced to be set up near the bathroom which was annoying because we would keep almost waking her going past it and in and out of the room there .The shower was a complete mess with the water escaping the shower area automatically and going everywhere and soaking the floor , which wasn't supposed to happen. And the adjustable shower head adjuster was broken so we could not have it at the height which we wanted. It would keep falling down. Our toddler was also able to open the front door from the inside by just pulling down the handle. Even if we had the bolt locked, just pulling down the handle unlocks the door. There was no secondary locking system, like a chain or child lock, so we had to place a chair in front of the door the entire time we were in the room because the child kept trying to leave, And with us being on the ground floor, this meant that the door faced the parking lot immediately... You can probably tell how stressful that was. Also, there was a resort fee added that made the room rate go up quite a bit at the very end of the booking process. The Jets in the spa wouldn't work the one time I tried to use it ( I know how to use a timer knob) but I didn't have time to follow up with staff to ask about it. Also the ice machine would not work the second time I tried to access ice. Again, I had no time to talk to an employee about it so it was just annoying.

I volunteer at the ACC Celebrity tournament and so I need to be able to walk to the golf course every morning and this location was perfect. They also had cute amenities. The only downside was the parking could be tight but that’s true if just about everyplace in that location.

The property is in a very good location, easily walkable to the main parts of South Lake Tahoe (near the casinos and Edgewood Golf Course). Like many local hotels, this one is a little dated, but it has been maintained very well. It's a collection of several hotels now merged into one. Several of the buildings are across the street. The room itself was OK, although a little dark. The only real negative was the lack of water pressure in the shower. Breakfast items are available, but not included. Bagels, waffles, an egg platter, etc. can be ordered. Free coffee service starts at 7am each morning. There is a nice bar area in the lobby area with ample seating. Wine and beer tasting happened during our stay too. There are some fire pits outside where smores could be made, and that was popular with the young ones. (The smores kits were free.)

As mentioned, the shower had very low water pressure and low flow. Parking was also in short supply. I had to circle the lot and then park in an EV charging spot - which was OK since the charger was broken.

Room was simple but nice. Good location a few min walk from a beach and easy car access to main sites but away from commercial area. Loved the rustic lobby area, morning coffee/tea station and fire pits with s'mores kit in the evening! Friendly staff with great travel advice. Saw a small bear and a raccoon on the grounds!

At first we switched rooms because the floor looked dirty. My son's room had a strong chemical smell and he also (smoothly) moved rooms. Otherwise, everything great. A bit expensive without breakfast included.

The hotel is in a convenient, strategic location. Our room was spacious, but it was located on the top floor of a separate rear building, away from the main hotel and lobby, and required crossing a road and climbing few flights of stairs.

The staff was a mixed bag. Couple of gentlemen were extremely helpful and accommodating, while one female staff member (manager perhaps not sure) was quite uptight and lacked basic customer-service skills. Breakfast is extremely expensive, so I would recommend finding an alternative nearby. The lobby also closes surprisingly early—at 10:00 p.m., even on Friday and Saturday nights—and the outdoor fireplaces are turned off around the same time. Do not expect to spend much of the evening relaxing by the cozy fire pits.

所有的員工都非常的親切友善，盡可能地給予我們最大的幫助，讓我們的假期感到非常的愉快！飯店主要的設施雖然不多，但是環境讓人感到很放鬆。另外，停車場也有提供充電樁讓電動車充電，超級方便也省了一筆開銷。大廳吧台有提供早餐跟小餐點，同時也有小廚房讓客人可以微波食物跟泡茶，非常便利。

The property is so great! Love how family friendly it is! Such a great time for kids, adults (& dogs) Walkable distance to both the lake, and the casinos. The staff were so helpful and friendly, food was good & there was so much to keep the kids entertained! (The S’mores were Top tier!!)

I had to carry all luggages from stairs. Even though it was 1 floor it would have been nice to have a luggage elevator. Choice of breakfast was very limited. Room was small.

Cute, hipster, friendly, social hotel. The on-site bar, free coffee in the morning, s’mores at night and pool/ hot tub were a huge plus. Made it easy to set out and explore for the day, and great atmosphere to return to after enjoying a hiking or beach time.

I got overcharged $17 for two bottles of water that I didn’t open in my room. I had to call them to get a refund but luckily it was pretty easy and the staff were nice. The hair dryer was broken in our room, I tried calling the number on the facilities card twice and no one picked up. I walked over to the reception at 10pm and they were closing the bar area, but the staff was nice and opened the doors for me, and said they’ll send some over to my room. Unfortunately the hair dryer never arrived and I feel like I’ve tried everything I can, so I just gave up The pool was pretty small just fyi, it’s not for laps

Location was great, easy walking to everything. The summit suite was nice, comfortable and spacious. Bed was sooo comfortable. Didn’t needed ac was nice and cool during the day and night. It’s a dog hotel so lots of them. But the owners need to clean up after there pets. We enjoyed our stay and the luxury escape perks. But sadly our room was never made up or got fresh towels. Which would I expected and would have been nice. Food was ok and fast. Nice ambiance. Sadly never space to sit by the fire and to do smores.

Without a doubt one of the coziest hotels we’ve ever stayed at! From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, stylish, and welcoming. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and every detail has been thoughtfully designed. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the lake and Heavenly Village. The staff were outstanding: genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. We absolutely loved our stay and would choose The Coachman Hotel again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Great location and the staff were awesome, late check-in was totally fine and they surprised my dog with a welcome treat.

Soundproofing was pretty poor. Reception did provide earplugs, but if you're a light sleeper, this might not be the place for you.

While the office and reception area, along with the fire area, presented a commendable aesthetic, Building #9 appeared to be an oversight in its execution. Although it shared the same color scheme, the finishing was incomplete, characterized by peeling paint, unpainted sections, and partially grouted areas in the bathroom. The absence of a dresser for a week-long stay and a proper closet was also a notable concern. Furthermore, the floors exhibited a noticeable slope. Despite these issues, the staff provided exceptional service. Eliza and Rosie, in particular, demonstrated outstanding professionalism and performance.

The staff were very friendly and it was a short walk to the lake and shops.

The room was 87 degrees. We got moved to a new room because the AC was not working but even that room was 76 and with the AC running all night it only got down to 74. One of the beds had dirt and debris under the top blanket.

The room should be vacuumed. Unfortunately, the room was not clean as should be. Hairs and dust were everywhere on the floor.

Check in was quick and easy. Benjamin also gave us some great recommendations for some hiking and restaurants. We stayed in the Summit Suite that had a newer modern vibe. It was a good sized room with a balcony. Our experience overall was great! Highly recommend this place!

O Hotel é exatamente como nas fotos, o quarto é super silencioso e confortável, o banheiro é sensacional. Adoramos a estadia, foi como esperávamos. Super próximo do centrinho, fizemos tudo a pé.

The Coachman team is fantastic! My daughter, Roxy, and I had a wonderful time with the entire team during our move out of Tahoe. We stayed in the cabin, and it was fantastic to have a kitchen and couch! Roxy was especially fond of the mattress and premium sheets. I also enjoyed all the great beer and wine options at the bar. Plus, we even spotted a neighborhood bear while we were there. Benjamin and the team truly have something special at the Coachman.

Low season so not a lot of guests. Why did you put people above us that sounded like they were training elephants?

Room interior needs upkeep/maintenance, paint. No microwave. No elevator. Processed food. Inattentive, a bit unprofessional, too laid back. I believe it cost too much to stay there. I am waiting for email receipt, return of $100. deposit, food charge/discount all was an extra I paid upfront. I will not recommend your hotel to anyone & will not be back. A shuttle would be nice.

The staff there is so friendly and hospitality is on point

The amenities were great and I feel like we got a the most “bang for our buck”
