Bar Oz Riverside Guesthouse

Owner was nice, but I had t climb three flights of stairs with almost no handrails and very uneven stairs. Bit dangerous for a guy 71 years old. So I was basically stuck up there with no windows all day and no desk. I chose that floor due to the loud music in their bar. Prices are higher around there, but I had no interest in what was walking around in the streets. Many Pakistan and Indian restaurants and people in this area. I like that food.

This hotel is a total letdown. The room and bathroom are extremely tiny, making it really difficult to take a shower. Basic amenities like soap are not provided at all. There’s a bad odor in the room, and I even noticed yellow stains on the bed sheets. The air conditioner doesn’t cool down at all. This place is only suitable for sex room use and is not recommended for a proper stay.

La habitación olía a humedad y el pano de la puerta del baño estaba reventado. Hotel un poco tétrico y antiguo.Al lado hay una funeraria ⚱️, que aún hace el lugar más escalofriante. Para 1 día,si estás de paso está bien.pero no para más tiempo.

For a cheap getaway it was fine, however it is on top of a busy bar, so just be mindful to request a room on the upper floors. The rooms offer a fridge, a fan and aircon. Good size.

It’s right at the end of the main promenade, not central to any particular tourist attractions, but plenary of grabs are available

The bed was comfortable and the staff were really nice.

You can smell cigarette smoke in the evening. The room had no window so this was a problem. It wasn’t very clean.

Great location just on the fringe of the entertainment area. 24hr access. Super friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room given the budget price. Exceeded expectations by a lot.

The room smelt like cigarettes and we are non smokers. Might be from downstairs. No window to allow ventilation

Nice location

No locks on the doors. When asked to change room was told all the rooms had broken locks. Was very unsafe for a lone woman travelling. Place seemed full of western men looking for sex workers. Could not stay 1 night here and asked for a refund. Was given $10 rather than the full $24.

Good location, staff pleasant and helpful. A good b'fast bap to go! Bar prices are really good.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the room, although not sure if the fan pulled it in from the corridor Tiles falling olf the wall, although to be fair, once reported they did fix it immediately It's a bar where the expats come to drink from fairly early on, so if you don't mind that then this is good basic accommodation.

Friendly English speaking staff. Bar with pool table downstairs. Close to markets and riverside.

Apart from location, nothing!

Room smelled of smoke as did the whole premises. Even as a smoker myself it was unpleasant. Shower didn't work so had to wash crouched down under a tap. Despite being cheap I expected a lot more than what I got. Bed was hard as rock, and all the mirrors in the room (well use your imagination!!). Wouldn't recommend at all.

They have a cockroach problem.

Toilet in the bathroom did not flush properly from arrival at the hotel. Multiple small cockroaches found coming out of the sink fixtures in the bathroom. The hotel is in a great location however the bathroom facilities are not on par unfortunately.

Owner and staff are great. Room is above the pub which is friendly and welcoming. Located on riverside in the area of touris and expat action. Keep in mind the room is basic but everything worked and there are balconies on each floor for fresh air or for smokers Happy with my stay.

Extremely friendly staff. Lovely cosy bar downstairs. Lots of food options close by. I thought it was great value for money in Phnom Penh. Will stay again.

The staffs are very rude and racist.

It was a very nice location and the males staffs were very friendly. Easy access to the city. Most especially the owner is a very understanding and kind man.

The female staffs weren't friendly.

It’s convenient

I didn’t realize that a “guesthouse” is supposed to be connected to a bar when I booked, but if that’s not your thing, it’s something to keep in mind. I was fine with it but my friend wasn’t because she didn’t like the vibe of the bar, which is kind of like a dive bar. What I really didn’t like was tiny roaches in the tiny bathroom. This is a good place to crash or like rendez vous… On google maps there’s a reviewer that claims he has been to hundreds of hotels in Phnom Penh but he likes this one best; why would some one do that to begin with? IYKYK

I was late check in and early check out, but staff was kindness and no problem. near riverside...near backpacker street but it was very quiet.

The whole hotel smelled of cigarets because there is a bar in the lobby of the hotel. The room had seen it's best days and was really tiny.
