Great rooms
Beautiful environment
Modern, close to our visit to Clarksons Farm and broke up our journey from Southampton to Holyhead.
Everything perfect.
Nice setting
Being told they changed our room from ground floor with outside space to upstairs with no outside area
Clean rooms, very spacious. Kind staff
More breakfast options would be nice, healthy options.
Fabulous location. Clean spacious accommodation Lovely receptionist
Breakfast items cold
Room and balcony
Tricky layout
Staff were helpful and friendly. Room and bed linen was clean Restaurant was nice good quality but poor menu.
Twin beds very small and uncomfortable. Funny smell in room. Furniture was dated damaged and very brown, poor quality. Seen better in Travel lodge. Slow service at breakfast. Buffet but had to wait for everything to be replenished. Juice. Milk bread. Bacon eggs. Dirty tables. Advertised as 4star. And spa. Not 4 star and no spa facilities. Not even a hot tub. Bar area was strange. Not at all cosy and no comfortable seating. More of a function room. Not somewhere you would like to sit and have a drink after a day out. .
Building was beautiful and room was perfect size and a balcony which was lovely
Room spacious and spotless clean. Huge bathroom.
Bed was hard and uncomfortable.
The hotel room was really lovely, it overlooked the car park but it was super quiet. We visited the bar both days we were there and the drink selection was good. We ordered pizza one evening and they were delicious.
The price of drinks is a little expensive. It might be nice to have more than 4 teabags in the room to be able to make your own drinks.
Location
No real spa facilities. Very noisy people knocking on door late at night ,
Lovely spacious room
Breakfast wasnt great quality
Sinnsyk opplevelse!
It was beautiful our room was huge the golf course was lovely
Nothing everything was great!
The room smelt of old sweet socks Asked for cleaner pillows and it was no Better
Property was really clean was not expecting room to be that big and spacious. Enjoyed the stay there
Bathroom shower could be alittle bigger
Good location , beautiful golf course
Location, staff and most of the hotel all Ok and would stay again however rooms have no air con and found it to be really hot and unable to sleep during our stay ( but it was in the summer heat wave )
Location
Nothing to dislike
Clean and tidy, had everything we needed.
A little bit out the way from amenities, that was the only small issue. Nothing in walking distance
Friendly reception, clean large comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast. Great place for an overnight golf stay.
Excellent breakfast
Nothing
Great location and lovely big room. Liked having a terrace. Mostly very quiet.
I love it here but the room was uncomfortably hot that it was really difficult to sleep. The apartments have no windows that open at all. Only doors which I had to keep closed when out during the day and didn't feel safe having them open at night with a young child. The two fans provided didn't help at all. It must have been 30 degrees in the room, despite it being relatively cool outside. For that reason I would not stay in summer at all, maybe in winter. The hotel needs to invest in installing some small windows that open, or air conditioning.
Great location to visit Diddly Squat Farm and Stow on the Wold, lovely food in the restaurant, Greys and at a reasonable price too.
Had a few ants in the kitchen area but didn’t cause us any concern, considering we had an upgraded room
I loved the little private balcony
The reception staff were very pleasant. Our room was amazing.
The evening meal was very disappointing particularly the fish and chips which was not worth the price. Would not eat in the restaurant again.
The best part of the stay are the staff. Reception is manned at all times and very welcoming.
The room is very basic. No AC which is quite an inconvenience during summer time. They have supplied electric fan in the room but does not feel sufficient during very hot summer time.
Staff were all very friendly and efficient.
The signal was quite poor when trying to watch anything on the tv.
The property looks neat tidy but seems it’s been taken over by other management
Some staff was very helpful , but some didn’t seem to be attending majority all foreign workers missed the Cotswolds culture
Location.
Food wasn't amazing not much choice in restaurant. Bed was comfortable but being close to reception (1 floor up and a few rooms across) you heard everyone coming and going from there. Very basic amenities in room tea wasn't the best brand. Also unless you wanted to watch channels 1-5 not much variety.
Clean & good location Great food in the restaurant
Beth at the front desk was exceptional! We ended up rebooking a second night because of her. The room was perfect for a family.
The only thing I wish was different was if they had room service. You have to walk a bit far to pick up your drinks and pizzas but that is really only a minor inconvenience.
The room was massive and mainly clean. Staff were helpful with the lead up to the stay. Staff also put out a birthday card and a free drink voucher on my birthday which was very thoughtful.
There was a bag down the side of one of the beds and a cloth left in the room. The breakfast was limited, I think we must have came at a busy time, however, you could only have part of a full English to plate up, as, as soon as they brought the sausages for instance out, everyone was up to get them, then you'd wait another 10 plus minutes for the bacon or beans etc to be added. Also the mini croissants/ cheese and ham (so the continental side) was only topped up once in the 70 mins with a few extra mini croissants (maybe 10 mini ones) Which were taken again straight away. Same with the milk etc, for drinks and cereals. There appeared to only be one person trying to top everything up on her own, so we felt for her and didn't complain as we could see she was trying. However, there was a lot of people hovering around waiting for the food to appear and getting frustrated. I think for £220 which we paid for the room and breakfast, it could have been so much better. There was also quite a bit of noise from the room below us in the night. Sounded like a child running around, but thought the accommodation would have better insulation.
The location is brilliant and there are some lovely staff. The balcony was nice to sit in the sunshine, but useless in the rain.
The rooms are very small and look nothing like the photos. Nowhere to sit when it’s raining - there is one chair but hard to pull it out to sit on as there was a suitcase holder and the room is just too small to move things. The light switch for the bathroom is behind a cupboard. Bathroom sink covered in tape to hold things together. Dusty room. Our sheets were clean but my mother in laws were filthy with suspect stains in another room. Pillows were flat as pancakes - they did bring us more when asked though
The room was roomy, loved how big the bed was. The bathroom was very big. Loved the bath. And also loved the outside balcony. The staff were very friendly.
Feel as though the carpet could do with being updated. And also the television could do with being bigger. Felt the breakfast was very standard. Could do with a better selection like fried eggs. And on the continental breakfast more pastries. When I got a fresh juice the glass had a chip on it. And when I went to get a bowl of cereal the bowl had a chip on it. Feel this needs to be checked. Also the tea bags were awful no taste to them. Feel more quality tea bags should be used.
Beautiful rooms and very spacious
Location yo chipping Norton
No air conditioning
Location was good. Nice, helpful reception staff.
It promotes itself as a spa but there is no pool or sauna. It does provide massages but that's about it. Unfortunately the waiting on staff were not as proficient as they should have been. Although the food was on the whole very good there were issues with food delivered cold or incorrectly. At one point staff passed the food over my head instead of walking around the table. This could have been disastrous.
Location good, public transport accessible. Pizza very good
Rooms were too hot. There were fans provided, however this was not enough to leave the rooms comfortable
Over all good location staff very obliging. Evening meal was excellent. Bed very comfortable. Nice balcony to sit out on.
The room was a little dated and could do with a few bits of tlc. Glass shower screen loose at bottom. Scratches on furniture which made the room look jaded. Breakfast sausage the skin was like rubber.
Room was clean Breakfast good
No airconditioning. Service in restaurant indifferent. More of a hotel with golf course than a spa hotel! no facility to charge spending to room
Looks modern and contemporary from the outside.
Rooms need a freshen up, they are looking a little tired.
Bellissima struttura, molto curata e perfettamente manutenuta. Il nostro appartamento aveva tutto il necessario.
Peccato per i lavori in corso nelle vicinanze
It was clean and well presented.
No air conditioning so we had to request a room change and it was 88 degrees in the room at night. We were moved to a room on the other side of the building which was graded lower than the one we booked but no refund was offered for the following three nights we were there. Melana on reception was very helpful and tried her best to help us but to no avail other than a bottle of Prosecco on leaving. A young Asian gentleman in the restaurant was very helpful to me when I wanted to order fish and chips to take to the room. He personally went and spoke to the chef and arranged for me to get this meal in 15 minutes. I was very grateful for his help. This venue is perfect for golfers, but unfortunately it’s not for us so we won’t be back.
La colazione
La camera dava sul parcheggio dell'hotel
Great room, very spacious. Bathroom was huge. We would definitely stay again. Good breakfast.
Third floor, not really a negative.
the view
I
Room was large and spacious and well equipped. Buffet breakfast was very good. We stayed on a very hot day but the room was bearable with the large fan supplied.
Nothing to mention.
Amazing view, fablous view from window, location is 7+ star, clean and fresh, amazing time, wish to go again
Great facilities, good view, balcony was great for watching solar eclipse and meteor shower, room was massive and bed extremely comfy.
Room very hot due to weather.
Struttura molto bella e accogliente
Colazione nn adatta ad un pubblico italiano
Clean quiet rooms and private patio
It was nice enough. Staff could have done with explaining more. We were a little bit lost on our first morning.
Breakfast was poor. No fruit. The fruit salad bowl sat unreplenished.
The bar staff and restaurant staff were not warm and welcoming.
The room was set out lovely and the bed was lovely and big with a balcony
There wasn’t anything to dislike about the room all good
Very quiet. Good soundproofing and guests respectful of others, no loud televisions etc. Enormous immaculate bathroom, balcony, great room
All good
The staff where amazing, the massage was incredible would’ve got it 4 times over if i could have, a lovely little balcony very spacious room, the breakfast was up to buffet hotel standards nice amount of options, and it was very clean
There is no aircon in the rooms but it did stay at a comfortable temperature with the fans and didn’t realise when i booked that there is building works going on
Very clean and spacious rooms. Fans in rooms which was needed at this really hot time.
The rooms could do with a little fridge in them to keep milk cold and drinks cold.
The location for our stay
No air conditioning in the room and only a fan plus there was no fridge in the room
Had an apartment Used the oven and hob Lovely to have a fridge and freezer Comfy bed
Hot in room even with one fan
Beds were comfortable, in a good location for what we needed
Staff, especially in the restaurant didnt seem to want to be there and made it clear by their faces!
The breakfast was lovely . As we were only there for a couple of days they made you feel welcome. The room was stocked with refreshments.
I would say a fridge would have been a asset for warmer months
Close to chipping Norton and a lovely location
Nothing
Bedroom comfortable and clean
Very dark in restaurant
Size of junior suite was very generous which we enjoyed. Nice balcony. Good bathroom. Friendly staff. Good location.
For the price there should be air conditioning. Our room was really uncomfortably hot during the day, a normal standing fan is not sufficient for the size. Fortunately we were out most of the day and the nighttimes were cool. Some more attention to the interior design/furniture selection for e.g. tv stands, coffee tables would also help lift the room.
nice reception girls and big room, quiet environment and good window view
not sure
Very clean, big, comfy bed, decent location. Big bathroom and pleasant grounds, big balcony
No aircon, was very hot. Couldn’t really open the curtains as our room was in a corner and had about 30 balconies overlooking, would have loved a fridge to keep drinks cool. Had a carpark view that was a little disappointing, but kept the curtains closed anyway so didn’t make too much difference tbh.
Peaceful
No lifts
Fantastic apartment rooms great facilities and spacious, staff welcoming and helpful. Views from room perfect over golf course
We were upgraded to a superior room on arrival
The bacon at breakfast was a bit ropey but that's all I can fault really.
Clean comfortable
Restaurant only pizzas they sell should be called a pizzeria so had to travel out to get descent food
Everything
No complaints
Polite staff members , very welcoming and smiled throughout communication. Speedy sorting out an issue regarding twin beds being provided as requested on booking
No air conditioning in the room , a floor fan was provided but extremely stuffy in the rooms
Really clean and modern
Could do with air condition during the hot months
We used the hotel for somewhere to stay while visiting Cotswolds.
For us the hotel wasnt far for us to get to the places we wanted to go to.
Prime location for travel, very friendly staff. Outside of hotel looked nice.
Location of room up a narrow winding stairway, dead bugs in room, general state of disrepair of rooms and areas. Breakfast room would need a revamp, some of the leather chairs tore and worn/chipped tables. Windows were also filthy.
Beautiful location, lovely rooms. Helpful staff and great Brekky.
Nothing!
Good quality rooms. Plenty of free parking.
No air con. Its a golf club so you have to drive to go anywhere else.
One of the 2 rooms were upgraded to junior suite.
Wedding party onsite ... very noisy into the early hours of the morning. Would have been nice to both have same room types
Beautiful scenery
Could do with A/C as our room was very hot at night
Location
Nothing
Good location
No air conditioning
Good location, but building work opposite of a new wing. Lovely balcony but no air con. Breakfast good,
No Air Con in bedroom, but bonus having a balcony. Restaurant and bar could be better but staff lovely. Large golf group so a little noisy.
Air conditioning needed, no privacy, wedding was loud, towels are tiny, only 2 disabled parking spaces
The rooms were very cozy with an unexpected small veranda with table and chairs to sit out on. Well positioned for several attractions all within 30 minutes drive
Would have liked an extended bar menu, especially if you didn’t want to use the restaurant or if you’d been out all day and were only looking for a light meal
Clean & everything you needed. Staff were great
Room a bit bland, thought it would be better for the price
Excellent breakfast and restaurant
Loved the friendliness of the staff and the community surrounding. outside area is an amazing idea and is beautifully set up however few parts falling off could do with a general update and freshen up .
Bed wasnt very comfortable pillows seemed very thin room had a fair bit of cob webs however overall the room was beautiful . Walls are extremely thin so can hear other guests and upper floors.
Calling it hotel and spa when the only spa was for treatment only is a bit close to trade description law if not actually breaking the law.
Restaurant prices was far cheaper to drive a few miles to chipping norton
Beautiful views over golf course and close proximity to chipping norton
Excellent
Nothing
Great Location with Beautiful Surroundings
It was all ok except we didn’t have any air-con and it was the hottest time there was a fan but to be honest it didn’t help
Upgraded to lovely room. Attended first a wedding, the ceremony room was lovely and wedding breakfast delicious
Breakfast was manic. No fried eggs these had to be pre ordered! Didn't fancy my chances of getting it warm so went for scrambled which wasn't so much scrambled as sliced. No fridge in room even though it was an upgrade room
The location, the atmosphere. The staff were incredible. Restaurant was lovely.
The only thing that would have made it perfect, a mini fridge in the room. The rooms didn’t have air con, we couldn’t keep any cold drinks for during the night.
Lovely and peaceful in a lovely setting near village shops and golf course on site
No hairdryer in room. Breakfast wasn’t great if you didn’t want a greasy fry up. Most of the staff were lovely and friendly and accommodating. Due to food allergies I requested certain food which was not a problem to a member of staff who kindly accommodated twice but another member of staff we asked for plain food it was simply a no and therefore I just missed my meal and left the restaurant without making any remarks or fuss but if we went again we would eat elsewhere and not book breakfast unless they upped their game. The coffee was dreadful. Would be nice if they served a nice brand of coffee. It was filter coffee but was just left standing so it tasted as if it was burnt.
Good location, easy check in/out, free onsite parking. Room was modern and clean.
Pillows were a little tired and could do with replacing.
