Location was safe neighborhood to walk even at night. Terrific restaurants within walking distance. Convenience store within walking distance. Metro train station within walking distance. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Gardens were very inviting and relaxing. Wine bar and lounge was available with a warm fire. Breakfast was cooked to order. Graham was always nearby if we needed him and Reva always had a smile on her face and a skip in her step. I loved my stay here and strongly recommend Harfield Guest Villa to anyone visiting the Capetown area!

Graham ist ein wundervoller, herzlicher und extrem bemühter Gastgeber der einem versucht den Aufenthalt in seinem gemütlichen B&B so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

ich persönlich finde Handtücher mit einem Synthetik Anteil immer etwas unangenehm, aber das ist Geschmacksache.

Ein Kleinod in Kapstadt. Alle Zimmer sind mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und Graham ist ein überaus freundlicher Gastgeber mit guten Tips. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf den Tafelberg runden den Aufenthalt ab.

The shower needs attention, does not work well

Incredible nice people that make this place so familiar. Patio to relax was excellent and breakfast was also perfect.

The accommodation was exactly as described. The view of table mountain from the outdoor patio was lovely, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Raz, the 9-week old puppy, was an added bonus!

Overall everything was lovely! There were a few boards on the patio that felt like they could use replacing, but that's a pretty minor thing.

Graham and his team are excellent hosts. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast is 5 star. Facility and room 5 star. The villa is within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Shopping centres nearby.

Very comfortable king room with shower, bath and aircon. Breakfast was a feast. There was something of everything and it was beautifully prepared. Location very close to Cavendish shopping centre and 15 minutes from UCT. Central location, close to access to the highway. Took us about 20 minutes from the airport. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here again.

Graham ist ein super Gastgeber. Die Gegend ist sicher und das Zimmer war komfortabel. Es gab jeden Morgen ein Frühstücksbuffet und Eierspeisen / Heissgetränke auf Bestellung. Claremont ist super, um an eine Auswahl an Stränden, den botanischen Garten und das Weinanbaugebiet Constantia zu gelangen.

Das Obst beim Frühstücksbuffet war leider nicht jeden Tag frisch.

The location and comfort

We had a very pleasant stay at Harfield Guest Villa in Cape Town. The guesthouse is located in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, yet within easy walking distance of several good restaurants and cafés. The room was comfortable, well maintained and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Graham made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and proved to be a wonderful host — very sporty, full of life experience and always happy to share stories and helpful tips. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable, and overall the guesthouse offered excellent value for money. It was the perfect place to spend our final night in Cape Town before heading to the airport. Everything about our stay was incredible. Graham is such a wonderful host, the rooms are clean and so quaint, the breakfast and service is just delicious with the best quality and options. We will return for all our Cape Town visits. Thank you Graham, wonderful guest house you run there

We loved everything

A charming cottage, with authenticity. Good restaurants within 15m walk; Cavendish Square within 19m walk. No worries that the location is just behind the mountain, in 25-30m you can get anywhere by car/uber. Graham the host is amazing, really he is. It's worth staying here just to get the chance to meet with him. I hope I can go back!

Zunächst mal ist da Graham als Super- Gastgeber. So freundlich und stets hilfsbereit, auch wenn’s hektisch ist. Dann super süsse Zimmer, Top- Lage, Parken, Frühstück, Anlage. Alles wirklich top.

Graham and Catgherin are super hosts!- friendly, accommodating, helpful and the guesthouse has such a lovely homely feel and nice places to sit outside the room either at tables or pool lounges. Honesty bar is also helpful. We loved it here!

Noise on the streets 7 footsteps on the wooden floor and opening & closing of doors Beds and pillows not at all comfortable to match a 4 star facility. Shower tap not working properly. Hot & cold water very difficulty to control. Dangerous step to bathroom, without any signs thereof. Electrical plugs not up to standard.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit Pool und allem, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Kapstadt braucht. Familiäre Atmosphäre und ein außergewöhnlich aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Gastgeber machen dieses B&B zu einem wahren Highlight.

The place was so charming, the location beautiful, great pool and Graham was so lovely to chat to and so so helpful.

A very friendly and cozy place, Graham is a perfect Host!

Location was good for us, close to family and friends. Having the small fridge and microwave was very helpful. Beds were comfortable and outdoor sitting area was great.

Breakfast was sometimes too much food. Sitting area would be improved with some shade in the mornings.

The breakfast was sumptuous. There was something for everyone and every taste. Health continental and English breakfast .

I had a wonderful stay at Harfield Guest Villa, my room was super spacious and perfect for spreading out and repacking all my suitcases before heading back to the UK. Graham was super accommodating and I very much enjoyed our chats. Thank you for a great stay, I would recommend.

The location was perfect, and the host was exceptional in sharing more about the property and especially his hospitality. We also loved Roxy, a special treat to our visit.

Die Villa ist ein super guter Startpunkt für viele Aktivitäten in und um Kapstadt. In der Nähe sind ein paar nette kleine Restaurants. Der Hauptgrund, warum wir wiederkommen würden, ist allerdings Graham als hervorragender und herzlicher Gastgeber. Wir haben uns so unglaublich Willkommen und sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert, wenn man es gern etwas kleiner und heimeliger haben möchte. Der Ausblick ist ebenfalls der Hammer.

Safe location; near restaurants. Graham was very friendly. The dog Roxy was the star.

During my stay at the guesthouse, only one towel was provided for two days. After using the towel, I placed it in the bathtub to indicate it needed replacement. However, it was simply taken out and hung back on the rail each time, rather than being changed. Please note, this was not due to any drought or water scarcity policy

Our host Graham went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, exceptional service!

The most homely place on the planet I have ever stayed at. I cannot recommend the Harfield Guest House enough, perfect location, safe, walkable, uber hub next door, fantastic local restaurants one block away, big supermarket a 10 min walk away. Huge bedroom with shower and bath, comfortable linen, all the amenities. The staff are incredible and the owner is the kindest person you could ever wish to meet. The breakfast is delicious, plenty of options, and any special requests are catered for. Plus there's a fire lit every evening on those cold winter nights. The pool was always spotless, great for a morning dip, and will have a heater installed for next winter for evening soaks.

The warm welcome by Graham. The location is great for work or leasure ito all souther suburb destinations. It was also very quick to get to and from the airport.

I felt like I came home to family after a very long, cold day. I've received such a warm welcome my day went from a bit exhausting and draining to a soul filling, restful evening. Thank you so much.
