Piscine bellissime, reception sempre gentili e signora delle pulizie molto brave. Però faccio fatica a dare valutazione positiva per gli aspetti negativi

Ridicolo avere mille camere e 3 ascensori. Fare la fila per la cena è un altro grande problema. Il cibo anche è vario ma non buonissimo, mediamente bassa qualità. Le gentilissime signore delle pulizie devono pulire 21 camere in tipo 7 ore... quindi anche se corrono tutto il giorno non riescono a fare lavori perfetti. I camerieri tutti bravi, ma i supervisori veramente pessimi, quelli all'ingresso della sala da pranzo per intenderci. Avevo mezza pensione, colazione e cena, ma a pranzo mio figlio voleva un pezzo di pane e mi hanno negato un semplice pezzo di pane... incredibile.

Единственный минус - ожидание лифта, который стал для нас плюсом ))) мы ходили пешком на 7 этаж и это было здорово )))

Uniche cose positive: posizione e piscine…. Posizione veramente ottima. 5 minuti camminata si può raggiungere spiaggia, tutti ristoranti e davanti albergo ci sono vari supermercati sono aperti fino a 23:00, con un viaggio di 10 min si può raggiungere vari spiagge meravigliose.

La struttura non è quello che vedete sulle foto presentate su Booking: quello che vedete è la piscina, ma l’albergo è totalmente un’altra cosa, con mobili non curati da anni. La parte peggiore è stata quando siamo arrivati in albergo verso le ore 2:00 di notte con un caldo pazzesco e all'interno della struttura non era attiva l'aria condizionata. Dopo il check-in siamo saliti nella nostra camera sperando di trovare nel frigorifero almeno una bottiglia d'acqua fresca, per welcoming… ma niente: era totalmente vuoto. Non capisco la funzionalità di un frigorifero così. E sono sceso per prendere acqua e ho visto filtri di condizionatori come vedete nelle foto… dove gente mangiavano… sono rimasto senza parole!!! Oltre a questo, ho trovato allucinante e molto pericoloso vedere il telecomando fisso per controllare il condizionatore nella nostra camera senza il suo coperchio, quindi con tutti i cavi di corrente visibili e scoperti. Ho dovuto cercare di accendere il condizionatore senza rischiare di prendere la scossa. In bagno, sia il portasciugamani principale sia quello per il bidet erano rotti e ballavano. Che dire, non è stato per niente un buon inizio. Essendo notte ed essendo stanchi per il lungo viaggio, ho fatto delle foto e le ho mandate via WhatsApp al numero che mi avevano comunicato. Il giorno dopo è venuto il tecnico per sistemare: ha coperto tutti i cavi elettrici del condizionatore e ha cercato di risolvere le altre problematiche. Dopo il primo giorno, per il resto della nostra vacanza abbiamo dovuto mangiare sempre fuori, sia a pranzo sia a cena, il che ovviamente ci è costato tantissimo. Questo perché, per il nostro gusto e per come si presentava, il cibo non era proprio commestibile. Dopo le nostre segnalazioni, abbiamo ricevuto un biglietto dalla gestione che si scusava per tutti i problemi trovati nella camera e nella struttura, e ci hanno mandato delle bottigliette di succo di frutta!

In generale è andato tutto bene,io mio moglie e nostro figlio(7 anni) siamo rimasti soddisfatti. È una struttura dedicata prevalentemente alle famiglie con bambini, ben servita ed in una buona posizione.

La habitación estaba muy bien, pero el sofá cama se le quedaba pequeño a mi hijo mayor.

Dans l’ensemble l’hôtel est top pour les enfants avec le parc aquatique. Un personnel en salle de restauration super sympa ainsi que les femmes de ménage aussi. Ainsi que l’ambiance et les animations pas besoin de sortir de l’hôtel.

Gros inconvénients les ascenseurs et l’attente trop longue bcp de monde alors qu’on a un enfant en bas et obliger de prendre la poussette c’était compliqué j’ai du prendre les escaliers du 3eme étage avec la poussette et seule avec mon fils Les gens irrespectueux dans les couloirs la nuit quand on essaye de dormir

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay at Sol Barbados especially considering the price. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and we barely slept, felt like it would collapse The room was also not cleaned properly, we also had ants in our room. The hotel was extremely overcrowded. There were long queues at the restaurant almost every day, and long waits for the elevators. I had a stroller with me, and several times we waited more than 10 minutes for an elevator, which was incredibly frustrating.

Location is fine, 5 min from bus station and the beach is nearby. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area was good, there were activities every day for both adults and kids.

Men meget stressende. Larm og mennesker over alt, der var lang kø bare for at komme ind i resturanten og svært at finde liggestol da folk også står i kø her når pool først åbner kl 10. Sengene var ekstremt hårde og værelset slidt. Desuden virkede aircon ikke optimalt og væggene var papirstynde så også virkelig meget larm når man bare var på værelset.

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Jeden Tag wurde das Bett gemacht und bei Bedarf neue Handtücher gebracht. Das Frühstück war gut. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das hat für uns absolut gereicht. Die Schlange vor dem Restaurant war gigantisch lang, wenn man zu den Hauptzeiten kam. Also früher frühstücken, dann hat man die Auswahl an Tischen und nicht so lange Schlangen im Restaurant. Beim Abendessen das Gleiche. Das Essen insgesamt war aber wirklich gut und es wurde immer nachgefüllt.

Das Hotel ist sehr groß, d.h. sehr viele Leute an den Aufzügen, im Restaurant und an den Pools.

Lo que más me gustó fue el equipo de animación son geniales las piscinas, la gestión tanto del restaurante como de recepción y la comida.

Lo que menos me gustó fue que no hubiera suficientes sillas en el salón y en la terraza por las noches puesto que los españoles cenamos más tarde y no es normal no tener ni donde sentarse para ver los expectáculos teniendo necesidad de tener q estar pendiente de que se quedaran sillas vacías.Deberían de tener sillas apiladas a los lados si no caben más mesas.

Не понравилось отношение персонала не понравилось что изначально бронировался двухместный номер ,а поселили в двухместный номер с дверью в смежный номер . Не понравилось большие очереди за завтрак ,места свободные есть ,столы стоят пустые ,а персонал блокирует проход туристов на завтрак,искусственно создавая очередь

La habitación es impecable , cama grande , baño limpio la comida podría mejorar , es un hotel únicamente familiar si un día vuelvo sería con mis hijos. El personal de recepción 10/10 no disfrute de la piscina ni del barra libre pero está muy bien para familias. Si viajas solo no tanto , tienes para guardar maletas y puedes disfrutar del hotel mientras te marchas.

La chica de la limpieza me tocó la puerta a las 8:55am 😬me despertó. Del resto todo muy bien la ubicación es excelente yo volvería con mis hijos.

A large, mass-market hotel, which has its pros and cons. The beds were comfortable, everything was generally clean, and everything worked smoothly. The rooms were spacious, the cleaning was thorough, and the reception staff were quite helpful. A big plus was the water dispenser in the main lobby. There were two pools, although I didn’t use one of them at all (the mini water park). The food was decent, and if you’re on a half-board plan, you can swap lunch for dinner, which is a big plus. For the price, it was honestly pretty good.

As is often the case with large hotels that cater to families with children, it was noisy. The dining hall was very loud, probably mainly because of the number of guests and the children.

Can’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve just returned home from 8 nights and almost didn’t book reading the reviews. I went with my 3 small children. (6 and under) The kids club was amazing. My children asked to go everyday. The staff were wonderful with them. Pools were great and lots of lifeguards on duty. Loads of entertainment throughout the day Hotel was super clean. Rooms a little tired and bare but we literally only showered and slept there so it’s all you need really. Housekeeping came everyday Food was really nice and a big selection everyday from seafood, freshly cooked meat, curries, pasta and chicken nuggets/fish fungers. There was literally something for everyone and it was fresh! Great location too. 10minute walk to the beach and the strip There is a laundrette round the corner too which I used at the hotels recommendation- €20 for a big bag of washing and ready next day Would definitely book again

don’t usually write a review but I have no option to tell others to stay clear! The food was appalling the food was undercooked cold and inedible we had to go out every night to eat and several famlilys were ill during course of holiday Constant queuing for food and lift. Staff were rude no fun in the pool no ball games in pool. Pool downstairs closed constantly due to incident and weren’t opened till following day. Wi-Fi very poor. Check in desk took forever. Que behind locked gates for sun bed till 10am. STAY AWAY!!!

La atención del personal fue excepcional y la piscina con toboganes muy divertida para cualquier edad y las mesas de ping pong y billar. El que tenga dos piscinas con dos ambientes está muy bien. También me gustó que ofrecen el servicio de traslado y recogidaal aeropuerto, puntual, buen precio y buenos vehículos.

Las camas incómodas, el buffet de comida regular en cuanto a calidad y variedad y las habitaciones bastante antiguas. Sin embargo, la relación calidad - precio es correcta.

Great location. Easy access to beach and nightlife. Lovely shop across the road of you need essentials. We had a lovely room that faced over the gardens. Cleaned everyday with fresh towels and friendly cleaning staff. Lots of activities for children and adults. Food was great and if you did que it was peak times and for five minutes max. Air con was a god send as it's so hot! Really cannot fault any part of the holiday! Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Special mention to Jesus at the bar! Nick named the singing bar man, he brightened every day.

An excellent location close to the beach and within walking dustance of strip but far enpugh away not to be bothered by noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was extremely busy at height of the season but it did not compromise on the quality and variety of good available. Restaurant and kitchen staff's uniform was immaculate and ample staff who were efficient in people management so no long waits and were continually cleaning , tidying and replenishing serving areas. A credit to the restaurant team for excellent mealtime experience thoughout a busy period. Hotel spotlessly clean throughout, bedroom very comfortable. Pool area great for kids but the sun bed wars were something else. Stampeed for sunbeds as soon as gate to pool opens at 10.00 a.m. is dangerous. Someone at some stage will fall down those steps. Avoid if possible. A super family experience and will definately return.

-locatia aproape de plaja -personal prietenos -camere spatioase -curatenie zilnica -plaja larga, cu toate facilitatile (sezlonguri, dus, baruri si restaurante), dar si cu zona libera. Fiind singura plaja mare din statiune, este si aglomerata.

-hotel mare si in sezon este foarte aglomerat, astfel incat se formeaza cozi la toate serviciile oferite, la restaurant, la lifturi, la bar -un singur restaurant, pentru capacitatea hotelului este prea putin, se formeaza coada la toate mesele din zi. -parcare mica, si contra cost (20E/noapte) -restaurantul unde se ia masa mai mult seamana cu o cantina, cu piese de mobilier prea simple si urate, si din cauza aglomeratiei se face zgomot mare astfel incat nu se poate purta o conversatie la masa. -calitatea mancarii - medie, diversitate mica, fructele mereu aceleasi, si fara mare gust, legumele-la fel. -piscina se inchide la ora 19:00 -prosoapele de plaja se iau de la piscina, destul de tarziu, abia dupa ora 10 am. -resort mare, aglomerat, preferat de familii cu copii, in special mici, deci, este si foarte zgomotos. -nu cred ca merita 4*, cel mult 3*plus (indeosebi comparativ cu alte hoteluri de 4*) Nu recomand familiilor cu copii mari (16+) sau adultilor - e obositoare atmosfera.

Ignore the negative people! My kids (age 4&7) loved our holiday! Busy hotel but it’s a family hotel so everyone has kids! Pool great, beach lovely, rooms cleaned daily, food was ok and always plenty of it. Some noise at night but I slept great. Only thing we wish this hotel had is a gym!! Had 3 lovely runs along the coast though 😀

Don’t listen to the negative reviews…… I’ve just come back having spent a week there with my son and my niece and we had a fabulous time. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. The were lovely and clean and spacious, great pools and fantastic entertainment, the only slight negative I had was the bed was quite hard but other than that a fantastic stay and we would definitely return

Not a bad hotel the entertainment staff are brilliant. But more bad than good. Rooms don’t get cleaned properly beds hardly even made. Very very noisy in the rooms on a night people running up and down all hours. Pool rules are daft we wasn’t allowed rubber rings or on some days even balls. Food wasn’t great either. Some days cold and very same same all week. Drinks ok although cocktail menu small and next to no alcohol in. Bar staff can be rude (don’t speak for all of them some very nice)

Give Damian a raise. HE IS THE GREATEST BARTENDER OF ALL TIME .Zeus is awful compared to him. All he did was a full performance of knocking on heavens door while pouring my coke with extra ice.Back to Damian (Felipe) I can't rate him enough on his amazing coke pouring skills. Felipe nonchalantness was adamant to see as he poured the greatest drinks ever been poured to man. Now at a new sol establishment it is quite really to even wake up in a hotel without Damian. The bond we and my whole family forged with this great man over those few days will never be forgotten his experience was an amazing memory and I hope one day I will be able to see him again. Two grand children 3 & 5, parents and grandparents. We loved the fantastic selection of food. Different every day. We tried everything, never had seen or tasted some of the fish. The pools catered for everyone except serious swimmers. Toddler splash pools up to deeper ones, with water slides to build the confidence of children. Adults loved them as well. The beach was only a few minutes away once you find the access past the loading bays on adjacent hotels. It was clean and deep enough for swimming and not too steep, ideal for children. The only downside was the lifts. It's a big hotel with only three lifts. We ended up walking the stairs most days. Not good for the disabled and people with buggies or luggage.

Just got back from a week here, I have 3 children ages 10, 8 & 5 and there was something for them all to do! Snack bar was great, food was ok. Bedrooms always clean and fresh towels every day. It was clear to see staff work really hard to keep the hotel clean. Special thanks to Ana and Alex for getting my children up and involved in all of the activities in the pools every day they really had the best week!

People are always going to have their own opinions and experiences when it comes to hotels. Before arriving, I was really anxious after reading some of the reviews, so I probably went a bit overboard making sure we had extra things with us just in case we had the same experience. However, we’ve had the best time! The pools are brilliant even tho you have to queue for sun beds! Yes, they don’t open until 10am, but they’re open until 7pm, which is later than many other hotels we’ve stayed at. I would recommend bringing water shoes for your children, as the floor can become extremely slippery. We saw several nasty falls during our stay, and the ground also gets very hot in the sun. We also noticed quite a few comments about the lifeguards, but our experience was completely different. We found them to be brilliant. Yes, they do blow the whistle, but it’s for everyone’s safety. They were especially kind to our little boy and even got to know him, greeting him every time he came around. We thought they did an excellent job. As for the all-inclusive food, it’s pretty much the same wherever you go. There’s always something you’ll find to eat but we did eat out most evenings. The rooms are absolutely fine, they’re cleaned every day, and we had fresh towels daily too. The areas that could be improved is the evening entertainment, especially for children and families as we didn’t think there was enough on offer so went outs most nights along the beach for a walk and drink. Also, the lifts were a total nightmare. With more than 12 floors and over 3,000 guests staying at the hotel, they were constantly busy. We were lucky to be on the 3rd floor, but I really felt for anyone staying higher up! The coin system for drinks was also a bit of a hassle. Having to remember to carry the tokens around with you all the time wasn’t very convenient. If you’re planning a day out, the Western Water Park was fantastic! We had an amazing time and I’d highly recommend a visit. Overall, we’ve had a fantastic family holiday and wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Ilsėjomės 12 dienų, iš jų keturis karyus buvo uždaryti baseinai! Atseit, kažkas privėmė ir pagal įstatymus Ispanijos reikia 8 val dezinfekuoti.... Na mūsų neapgaus, nes mes patys turime baseiną namuose, ir tikrai žinome, kad tięk kiek ten iš tiesų yra prisysiota vaikų ir pan. Vienas kartas nieko nekeičia, tiesiog nepraeina matomai patikrų dėl užterštumo ir PRIVALO uždaryti iki sekančios patikros! Eilės per pusryčius, prietus ir vakarienę dažniausiai laukiama apie 30 min eilėje! Kondicionieriai neveikia visai arba veikia nepakankamai nes per pietus ar vakarienę apie 35+ laipsnių...., atšokas noras ir valgyti per tokį karštį. Gyvenome pirmame aukšte, KAS PASISEKĖ, nes trys liftai ant kelių tūkstančių žmonių...., laukdavom apie 15_20 min, nes visi užimti. Užjaučiu žmones su mažais vaikais ir vežimais kuriems tekdavo lipti namo į pvz 10 aukštą! Prie vaikų basenų, reikia stovėti bent pusvalandį prieš atsidarant, nes kitaip mebus NĖ VIENO laisvo gulto. WIFI tragiškas, tirk kambariuose, tiek per pietus tiek prie baseinų, būnant ilgiau nei savaitę tave tiesiog ATJUNGIA! Ir pasukutinis, matomai damušęs įvykis, mes buvome tryse ant dviejų gultų, nuėjome namo persirengti palikome daiktus ir rankšlupsčius, po 5 min mayome, kad ant mūsų vieno gulto guli kitas žmogus o mūsų rankšluosčiai numesti, nuėjome paklausti kodėl taip? Tai žmogus paaiškino, kad gelbėtojai tandom nuiminėja ranlšluosčius ir leidžia kitiems žmonėms ilsėtis.... nuėjus pas gelbėtojus aiškintis liepė kreiptis į vadybininką....., bet nebūtų viskas taip tragiška, jeigu šalia, brt ne po skėčiu būyų nebuvę LAISVO gulto! Įtariu gelbėtojų kyšininkavimą ir savivaliavimą. Maistas jeigu stovėti 10 min eilėje, kad gauti keptos mėsos, viskas ok., brt su mažu vaiku prie +35 juk nesinori.... Viešbučiui tai eiliniai klientai, BET MUMS TAI PAGRINDINĖS ATOSTOGOS...! labai gaila, negrįšim ir nerekomenduoju. Šalia yra parduotuvės jūra ar kavinės....

Staff were so rude at reception. We booked a room described in booking.com as something else, ended up receiving something else. Staff were dismissive. And also the taxi didn't turn up onetime for our return to airport. Staff on reception just plazay about it. They literally could not give a ****

Отличный отель! Остались только приятные впечатления. Номер был чистый, уютный и полностью соответствовал описанию. Персонал очень вежливый и отзывчивый, всегда готов помочь. Питание вкусное и разнообразное, расположение удобное — рядом море и транспорт. Заселение прошло быстро, атмосфера в отеле спокойная и комфортная. С удовольствием остановлюсь здесь снова и рекомендую этот отель другим путешественникам.

Из минусов хотелось бы отметить организацию питания. На станции, где готовили омлеты и панкейки, всегда работал только один повар, из-за чего приходилось долго ждать. При этом омлет иногда был пересушен. Также было неудобно, что во время ужина не предлагались чай и кофе. Чтобы выпить горячий напиток с десертом, приходилось идти за ним в бар. Раз в неделю в меню были суши, но, к сожалению, их качество нас разочаровало. На наш взгляд, лучше заменить это блюдо чем-то другим, что получится приготовить действительно хорошо.

Les piscines ont été fermées plusieurs fois pendant mon séjour. Le nettoyage quand je suis arrivée et même les autres jours n’était pas exceptionnel surtout pour un hôtel de 4 étoiles. Tout ce qu’on peut demander soit les linges le fer à repasser tout doit faire l’objet d’une caution cash! Pour demander un verre on doit avoir un jeton sans jeton pas de verre et un seul jeton m’a été donné. Si on souhaite prendre un café avec un cocktail d’abord je dois boire le café refaire la fille d’attente pour demander mon cocktail. Le sol autour des piscines est tellement glissant qu’une fois simplement en marchant j’allais tomber. La nourriture n’a pas de sel du tout! Les assiettes sont tellement chaudes qu’il est dificile de les tenir et juste à la fin de mon séjour des panneaux avec l’ avertissement que les assiettes sont très chaudes a été installé. J’ai payé pour un tout inclus mais les piscines fermées les files d’attente pour tout partout dans l’hôtel j’ai perdu plus de temps à attendre qu’à profiter de la piscine

If I could rate it 0 I would. I never imagined I would be writing a review like this, but I feel a responsibility to warn other families about our experience at Sol Barbados. During our stay, both of my 5-year-old daughters became severely ill with vomiting and diarrhoea. After caring for them, my mother and I also became ill with the same symptoms, turning what should have been a family holiday into an absolute nightmare. One of my daughters deteriorated rapidly. She vomited continuously throughout the day, became severely dehydrated, was unable to walk, had no tears when crying and required an ambulance to Juaneda Hospital, where she was admitted overnight. She underwent blood tests, received two IV fluid drips, IV anti-sickness medication, IV paracetamol and overnight observation before being discharged with a diagnosis of infectious gastroenteritis with dehydration. The following day, my second daughter developed the same illness. Our holiday was completely ruined. Instead of making memories with my children, we spent it dealing with ambulances, emergency hospital treatment, pharmacy visits, medications and trying to care for two desperately ill young children while becoming ill ourselves. What concerns me even more is that this did not appear to be an isolated event. During our stay, two swimming pools were closed after another child was sick. We also spoke to other guests who described experiencing similar symptoms. Since returning home, I have found numerous recent reviews from guests reporting vomiting and diarrhoea during their stay at this hotel. Some of these reviews describe it as “food poisoning”. I cannot say that it was food poisoning, and in our case my daughter’s blood tests confirmed a diagnosis of infectious gastroenteritis. The symptoms of gastroenteritis and food poisoning can be virtually identical, so I cannot comment on the cause of other guests’ illnesses. However, our family’s experience closely mirrored what so many other guests have described. If you’re reading those reviews and wondering whether to ignore them, don’t. I didn’t read the reviews before I went, and I seriously regret it. Those reviews deserve to be taken seriously. When I formally reported everything to the hotel, including my daughter’s hospital admission and medical documentation, I received a response from the hotel manager stating that no other similar cases had been reported and that ours appeared to be an isolated incident. I found this extremely disappointing. What made it even more frustrating was that, after returning home and reading TripAdvisor reviews, I found another guest who had reported a very similar experience and had received what appeared to be virtually the exact same response from the same hotel manager. It left me questioning whether guests’ concerns are genuinely being investigated or whether they are simply being met with a standard response dismissing them as isolated incidents. I cannot say with certainty where or how the infection was acquired, but we did not leave the hotel as we had only been there 1 day before it started, and I am not making that claim. However, after what happened to my family, I believe there are sufficient concerns for this matter to be investigated properly by the relevant authorities rather than simply being dismissed. Watching your five-year-old child become so dehydrated that she could not walk and required an ambulance, hospital admission and intravenous treatment is something no parent should ever have to experience. To then watch your second daughter become severely ill before my mother and I also caught the illness made this one of the most distressing holidays we have ever had. Aside from the illness, I do not believe this hotel deserves its 4-star rating. In my opinion, the overall standard of cleanliness, maintenance and guest care fell well below what I would expect from a hotel advertised at this level. Based on our experience, we will never return to Sol Barbados, and I would strongly urge families with young children to think very carefully before booking this hotel.

I liked the location, and the staff was kind and very welcoming.

The hole building was very old, far from being renewed. Insulation between rooms was TERRIBLE, I could hear every whisper from the room next to me, I couldnt sleep until they slept. The elevators were always busy, you could find crowd with 15-20 people constantly waiting.

O hotel estava sempre muito limpo e bem cuidado. A localização é excelente, muito perto da praia, o que tornou tudo mais prático. A comida foi outro ponto muito positivo: sempre fresca, variada e com opções diferentes todos os dias, agradando tanto aos adultos como às crianças. Muita animação tanto de dia como de noite .

havia poucos elevadores, para tanta gente e tantos andares ,o que tornava as esperas muito demoradas e incómodas. Também ficámos desiludidos com alguns funcionários dos bares, que se mostraram bastante antipáticos. No dia da chegada, encontrámos toalhas sujas no quarto, deixadas pelos hóspedes anteriores, mas depois de falarmos com a receção a situação foi resolvida atempadamente. Outro ponto negativo foi o estacionamento: é muito difícil encontrar lugar na rua e o parque privado é demasiado caro. Os sofás cama muito desconfortáveis para as crianças.

One of the highlights was the kids' club. The team did a fantastic job, were enthusiastic and engaging, and made a real effort to keep the children entertained. They deserve recognition for the excellent work they do.

This hotel has scraped its way to a 4-star rating by doing the bare minimum, but in my opinion it doesn't live up to that standard. The biggest issue was the rooms. They are not soundproofed at all, with large gaps around the entrance doors. You can hear every conversation in the hallway, footsteps, luggage being rolled past, and from early morning the cleaners going about their work. Getting a peaceful night's sleep was almost impossible. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the bathroom had a noticeable mouldy smell throughout our stay. We stayed on an all-inclusive basis. The food was fairly standard, with a decent overall selection, but the gluten-free options were non existent and had to be preordered, with VERY limited options. When gluten-free food had to be prepared separately, the wait was consistently long, making meal times frustrating. My biggest disappointment, however, was the pricing. I booked what I believed was the best available rate, paid in full upfront on a non-refundable booking, and then less than 24 hours later I found better rooms available for around €500 less than I had paid. Booking.com's Price Match guarantee proved to be completely useless in this situation, which only added to the frustration. Overall, the hotel simply wasn't worth the price I paid. There are too many shortcomings for a property marketed as a 4-star hotel, and I left feeling disappointed with the overall value for money.

Шикарный вид из окна, как на море так и на горы. Убирались каждый день, еда вкусная, как и коктейли, радовало то что всегда есть развлечения для детей, как днём так и вечером.

Наверное единственный недостаток это лифт, к сожалению один лифт не работал, и приходилось ждать лифт очень долго. На балконе убирали всего два раза за неделю.

This is a very honest review of the sol Barbados hotel in Magaluf. Hopefully this will help people before they pay for an already expensive holiday and helps them make a good choice . On Arrival the grounds up to the main door are well kept and a pleasant place to walk . Check in was easy and the staff very friendly. We were offered an upgrade to a room with a large solarium for 81 euros which we accepted pictures will be included. In our opinion this was a waste of money . Going to the room lifts are small and busy. luckily for us our room was floor 1 and we didn't need to use the lifts . The room . On inspection the room is dated and had lots of cosmetic damage and marks . Bathroom shower pressure is very very bad and the bath was slippery with no slip Matt provided. No plug for the basin and it's hard to get a shave . The room panels were not fitted correctly and made a massive bang when the door was opened and closed . Damage to fake marble around the basin also . Towels and loo rolls are very cheap and nasty for a 4 star hotel . Also no extraction fan and mirror just smokes up.The beds are firm but comfortable all tho my child complained the sofa bed was very uncomfortable like sleeping on plywood . Small coffee machine provided with no instructions on how to use it . And a tiny bottle of water not even put into the fridge . The solarium was bad . Large step from room the decking and no privacy at all while out there . Sunbeds were disgusting with bird poo and dirt and I can't understand why the normal balcony is not smoking but the solarium people could smoke and just flick cigarette ends onto the floor as non smokers we would not have upgraded if we had known this . The only pro I could give the room is the free safe and the great air con . We had two issues with the safe jamming and the air con was leaking water and credit to the staff on both occasions a member of the maintenance team was at our room within 10 minutes and both issues sorted so big thanks to the staff on reception and maintenance for their efforts . Pools the water land life guards are extremely unfriendly and they seem to follow one rule for one and another rule for another . So much so it was not a fun environment for anyone . Told you're not allowed to help a child when they hit the water at the bottom of a slide or even pop your head under one of the water falls . The top pool was more relaxed and chilled . Both pool areas are spotlessly clean which was a big positive the lifeguards attitude definitely lets water land down . The all inclusive is bad .need to swap a token for a cup and stand in massive cues with one bar person on to get a Fanta found the staff unfriendly and clearly hated serving guests .the snack bar for the pool has all the poor food no one had for breakfast just fired out any old way . The all inclusive is a financial winner for the hotel and people cannot be bothered with the Q's and hassle of the token system . The biggest let down by the hotel was the Spain Portugal game at the world cup loads of families in the sports bar watching it and the hotel had the bar shut .people had to climb two flights of stairs to stand in a Q at the in and out bar to walk all the way back down . The worst was the restaurant food is so bad and raw meats being put out for guests there will be a picture of raw chicken posted . I honestly can't explain how bad the restaurant's food hygiene failed on so many levels and the staff didn't care or do anything about any guests'complaints . Over all this is not a 4 star hotel as advertised. It's a pity as reception staff and the staff around the top pool playing games during the day are amazing and they deserve credit but unfortunately it lets itself down with the rest . We will be back in Mallorca but not at this hotel

It is not five star hotel but i gave 5 star because of value for money. For money we paid service was more than great. First to say, everybody is so nice. Cleaning lady from first floor always asked do we need more towels or anything when we saw her on hallway even when we put sign we dont need cleaning. Very nice lady. And cleaness of hotel was great. Staff in mini club also great and kind to kids. People who work in buffet also very polite. Food was better than we expected. Usually buffets are not tasty but here were so good that i didnt go to restaurant after. Nice and tasty seafood. They make fish in front of you. There are pool on 0 floor and water park with slides on -2 floor. Elevator situation is bad but our room was on 1st floor so we walked. Me and my family really had great time here.

Tutto perfetto. Servizi top per grandi e bambini (animazioni, corsi fitness, spettacoli, mini club) , piscine (2 grossi complessi, uno per adulti e uno per piccoli) , all inclusive, vicinanza alla spiaggia di Palma (solo spiagge libere). Davvero una delle più belle strutture in cui siamo stati (2 adulti e 1 bambino di 2 anni). Abbiamo avuto purtroppo un problema familiare e siamo stati costretti a rientrare in anticipo, e la struttura ha deciso di rimborsarci di quanto non usufruito! Torneremo al 100%

Работники бара,ресторана приветливые,все хорошо,кроме бара где кофе-там какой то неприятный бармен,постоянно выражал свое недовольство,когда его просили сделать кофе из кофемашины.Мне он не попадался,но много людей жаловались именно на него. Большая благодарность Любе и Сандре из рецепшн- приятные,внимательные,отзывчивые девушки,которые не упустили из виду нашу просьбу. Парень на рецепшене есть,тоже очень хороший,к сожалению имя не запомнили. За еду не буду писать в окне "что вам не понравилось", но выбор не мешало бы разнообразить,особенно это касается вечерней выпечки и мелких закусок. Так же мясо,которое жарили постоянно было жесткое.Возьмешь ребро,соус вкусный,а мясо резиновое. Соки хотя бы из пакета,а не юппи,который подается в самых дешевых отелях,которым Sol Melia не должен соответствовать.

In più al "Bar dello Sport" accanto al MiniClub c'è un ristorante per bambini, con hamburger, nugget, patatine, crocchette, gelato, frutta e caramelle...che naturalmente è preso d'assalto anche dagli adulti. PERSONALE: Eccellente, gentilissimo. Dopo il checkout, se avete l'aereo nel pomeriggio o la sera, è possibile lasciare le valigie lì. Con possibilità di fare la doccia e cambiarsi nello spogliatoio, GRATIS. ANIMAZIONE: Animatori preparatissimi, per i bambini. Ogni sera uno spettacolo diverso. CAMERE: Pulite, tutte con balcone con tavolo e 2 sedie. Con bollitore e tazze. Ogni giorno c'è la pulizia della stanza. POSIZIONE: Negozi ovunque. Idem ristoranti e pub. Accanto al Nikki Beach. A pochi passi dalla zona commerciale con Taco Bell, Starbucks, Domino's, KFC, McDonald's ecc....

A questo hotel do 9. L'unica pecca da migliorare è la scelta dei Cocktail. Il Bar non fa veri e propri Cocktail...o almeno 2-3 di numero. Mojito, Capirinha e Margarita. Altri erano senza Alcol. In compenso la Cerveza è buona.

A lot of activities for children, special outside pools for the youngest ones and parties in the evening. For having a few days to spend with your children, it is a very good place. For people without kids - you will have rough time 😂

Huge hotels with a lot of floors and only 3 tiny elevators, there were loooong queues to get one. The only thing that saved us was having the room on the 3rd floor. For people above the 5th, well - you spend a lot of time waiting for the lift.... Other than that

Nice hotel until you try and enjoy yourself , No fun at at the pool, the fun police put a stop to that (life guards) . Animation team very good day and evening but as soon as they finished the fun police came out again. Food - breakfast - everything was cold unless you queued for 15 min for a bland omelet. Lunch and evening meal was OK unless you got caught in the 60 man queue. Once you get in the restaurant you could have chicken of all colors from pink to green . If you like salad they gave a lovely salad bar which serves salad with at least 12inch hair in it . The bar staff were very helpful although one would go to break at busy periods causing more queues.

So I was so anxious to go to this hotel after reading some awful reviws and wish I didnt read the reviews now tbh. The hotel was immaculate, rooms cleaned daily. Food was lovely and the hotel is in the most percect location. We upgraded to a larger room which was perfect. There was never a que for food, bar and no sunbed wars. Would deffinately return.

It is really nice family hotel, on a good location, near the beach, but in a peaceful and quite part of the Magaluf, with nice food, basic but clean rooms, polite staff and good animators.

Sol Barbados is undoubtedly the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my whole life. I deeply regret, with all my heart, for choosing this hotel for our family vacation. We stayed for 10 nights on a HB basis. I don't know where to start... 1. Family of 2 adults and 2 children (17 and 12 years old), booked directly through the hotel's booking app back in January 2026, 2 hotel rooms. I requested rooms next to each other upon booking. Upon arrival at the reception at 23:10 there were 2 receptionists, and they didn't bother with our request to have our rooms with our kids next to each other. They wanted to put us on different floors. The female blonde receptionist was rude, and she told me, "Why didn't you book a family room if you wanted to be placed together? Your request is not a confirmation that you will be placed next to each other." I started to argue with her that any other normal hotel would have understood what such request made 5 months ago while booking directly with the hotel means. At the end, after 40 minutes of waiting, they managed to find us 2 rooms next to each other. 2.Quality and variety of food, dining room, hygiene in the dining room – all unacceptable by normal standards. We were on HB, but ended up eating outside because the dining room was a mess, with low quality food and leftovers or mixed things with suspicious quality. 3. The hotel was informed about our late arrival, but they did not leave us a bottle of water in our rooms. It was 23:40 after we checked in, and all nearby shops were closed. 4. This hotel does not have any Spanish entertainment, Spanish night, etc. You wont feel any spanish vibes here. 5. Housekeepers – they had to be chased every day to do basic, quick cleaning or to provide fresh towels. 6. The hotel is not safely secured at night. One night, a group of young drunk tourists tried to open our door and enter at 3.30 am and 4am. We found a young drunk man without a hotel bracelet (so he was not from our hotel) sleeping in front of our room, and we called reception. Next day we received a bottle of wine from the hotel team as an apology. Thanks for that, although we didnt drink it. 7. My booking is subject to a fraud investigation by the because the original email communication with the hotel was hijacked, and fake payment details were inserted into the same email thread. My computer and email were examined, and nothing suspicious was found. The hotel management and Meliá management were totally ignorant of my stress and financial loss and asked me to pay twice while the case is under investigation. My scanned passport was exposed in the same email thread with the Sol Barbados receptionist. Guest Relations Manager Borja is like a robot; he did not show any human understanding for our suffering, both financial and stress. Borja would have been happiest if we didnt arrive at all and just quit. But we didnt want to ruin the promissed holiday to our kids. Only one male receptionist, whose name I didn't ask for, compassionately wished me good luck when I filled out all the Hoja de Reclamaciones forms at the reception so I could report the case further investigation 8. Queues everywhere. For the elevators, for dinner. Unless you feel fit enough to climb several flights of stairs (luckily, we were on the 4th floor and not on the 12th). I used the lifts only twice as they were always crouded. Queues for dinner from the restaurant entrance to the yard. So you can imagine how elegant is to dine inside :). 9. All in all, we rented a car and tried to enjoy our holiday as much as we could, for the sake of our kids. I was happy when we left Sol Barbados. And when I submitted claims at various Spanish aithorities, the administrative staff told me that they have received several other reports about Sol Barbados this year. I wish I had known this before I booked Sol Barbados and chose another hotel so I would have saved myself and my family from stress and financial loss.

When we came we were very tried from the night flight,we were 3 families with kids and I had a 2 year old, even though they said our rooms are ready, they asked for extra fee for early check in so we said pass! When we got our room at 3pm it was mould smell all over the room. They tried to cover the smell with air freshner but finally we were offered another room. From our balcony it dropped a beach towel on the first floor and from there a room attendant took it and never brought it at reception, it was a beach towel that had sentimental value. I personally went to talk with the housekeepers from that floor but they denied. Afterwards I asked at reception as well, no luck. We said ok, that’s it what can we do.. after that, in the last day room attendant took my necklace from the desk, she thought it was something expensive maybe but it was shein shiny necklace … very bad experience I am telling you. Food could be better, there’s no private beach, no direct access to the beach either. Long waiting time for the 3 lifts. Nothing like what I expected

Ko smo prisli v hotel nas je receptorka Jenifer pustila cakati z tremi majhnimi otroci 5h brez hrane in pijace. Sobe so v katastrofalnem stanju za to ceno,kar placas! Uničili so nam dopust. Ne priporočam tako slabega hotela!!
