Ideal location right on the promenade, 10min walk to electric railway, nice pub there, 20mins the overway to the sea terminal, nice harbour, hotel breakfast good staff excellent at breakfast, had early ferry departure on our last day so they did a packed breakfast for us the night before, decor a little dated on the landings and stairwells, Room modern and clean, as was the bathroom .

The only thing that could have improved things was I would like to have been offered the choice of decaffeinated tea & coffee.

Breakfast was great and staff very helpful and friendly. A quiet guesthouse,close to the electric train and horse tram. Nice walk along the promenade into the town

Staff were friendly and efficient. A smile goes a long way. Breakfast was good and consistant. All facilities were good [only exception was a leaking valve in the shower causing a ' spray ' , otherwise for the price its a 10. Shower was hot, the lft worked and the room was cleaned and prepped every day. I will stay here again.

Small hotel on the seafront, we were on the third floor but there is a lift. Room was a good size with all the usual facilities, comfortable bed, room cleaned every day. Breakfast very good full English and cereals. Overall a comfortable and clean hotel in a great location.

Although I couldn’t reserve a sea view, as there were none available at the time. The room I had been allocated was spacious enough and on the 3rd floor, but they had a twee working lift, a definite plus. The bathroom was clean and tidy with a lovely shower over the bath. It had plenty of hangers to use with a hanging unit, and a desk with a chair also a very comfortable armchair. The single beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and neutral in colour… it was a very nice room.

Well the very very dirty windows, that you really couldn’t look out of them, also with lots of bird droppings… I personally like windows open when I am in the room and when sleeping. The windows also had plain nets up, and luckily they looked new. The doors were fitted with Yale type locks, which was fine until people opened them and then they shut very loudly. Other than that it was fine.

The beds were so comfy and breakfast was amazing.

I can’t think of any maybe the location isn’t by all the main town centre but for me was perfect on the bikes.

Die Hotelangestellten / Besitzer waren äusserst freundlich, zuvorkommend, immer anwesend und immer war eine Ansprechperson im Haus. Ganz allgemein ist es ein Hotel mit viel Stil, liebevoll gedecktem Morgentisch, persönlichem Café-Service an den Tisch, einfach alles mit viel Qualität und Klasse, und das obwohl es nur 3 Sterne-Hotel ist. Auch durfte ich bereits vorzeitig einchecken und mein Gepäck für mehrere Tage stehen lassen, weil als ich am Wandern war. Ich kann es SEHR weiterempfehlen.

They was all exceptionally helpful for our 2 night stay.The room was spotlessly clean with a superb Seaview twin room that was a lovely free upgrade with stunning panoramic ocean views. Free onstreet parking is a bonus.. Beds are very comfortable as well. Especially after 9 nights in Tent. I will absolutely be coming back here in future. What a gem.

It’s a good half hour walk to Douglas town’s main shops.

Building was cold in evening but more due to a spell of colder weather.

Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast choice excellent, full English kept us going to tea time. Boiled eggs were delicious and well worth trying. Room basic but had everything needed for the stay, cleaned daily and well stocked hot drink making facilities. We booked a sea view room and weren't sure what we'd get as sea views in some places we've stayed have been a glimpse through a small window, not this time the view was amazing and worth paying the bit extra for. Position of the establishment on the sea front was perfect to, not to close to the centre of town but idea for accessing both ends of the prom without to much of a walk. Only thing we had trouble with was the parking as you can only park on the front for 16 hours in any 24 hour period so it meant having to move the car daily and keep an eye on the time and spaces weren't always available. We eventually decided to park in the 24 hr long stay car park near the ferry terminal and walk down daily to renew the ticket which was less restrictive and easier than messing about with the spaces on the front. Cost was £5.50 for 24 hrs, parking free 6pm to 8am.

Extremely small room for two people. Very poor soundproofing — I could hear the neighbors above and couldn’t sleep when people were walking down the corridor. The view from the window was directly into the windows of the neighboring building, which was only 2 meters away, so I had to keep the curtains closed all the time. There is no wall above the toilet doors, so you have to be very close with the person you share the room with.

Room was spacious and clean. Free street parking was available outside the hotel. Breakfast was good and staff very helpful. Good to have a walk-in shower, though it was a bit too elaborate for out taste.

Breakfast hours quite limited - we couldn't get a full breakfast on the day we left, and had to get a limited continental breakfast in our room instead. There weren't any comfy chairs in the room, though there would have been plenty of space for a sofa (or sofa bed) if there hadn't been a second bed (which we didn't ask for and didn't use) in the room.

Walls are paper thin. Literally could hear other people having a shower next door, although this was a family room. Friend was round the other side and didn’t have a problem.
