Kinugawa Park Hotels

The location is excellent: not far from the train station, not far from two of the bridge and, especially, just in front of the Seven Eleven. The staff is also very kind and efficient, and the meals (both breakfasts and dinners) are delicious. I even got heavy discounts on massages!

The pillows are a bit hard… but, well, it all depends on how you like them, really, I guess.

いい感じの温泉に来て眺めが良くて　大浴場に入って　美味しい夜御飯と朝御飯食べて　安心してくつろげました。

ホテルと関係ないけどタマタマ悪い浴衣に当たったのかもしれないけどホテルの浴衣が臭ってクリーニングが残念でした。

露天風呂がぬるい

温泉が良かった。女性の仲居さんの接客が素晴らしかった。従業員の方が全員挨拶してくれて歓迎されている感じがして、居心地が良かった。到着が遅くなったのであまり中を見て回ることができなかったが、歴史を感じる建物だった。

フロントの男性がたどたどしくて不安になった。全体的に古く、改修したほうが良いと思った。増改築を繰り返しているのか、中が入り組んでいて歩きにくかった。部屋の備品ではないが、電子レンジが壊れていた。

貸切露天風呂がよかったです！！

部屋は清掃が行き届いているが、古い部屋なのもあってか所々劣化や汚れが見られた。

Loved the location and how friendly and helpful all the staff were. There were also massages available on site and even in your room. It was our first onsen experience and it went amazingly. The view of the river was spectacular from our room and from the lobby.

The premise is by the river; however with lush green big trees, from our rooms we couldn’t see the gorge clearly. Otherwise the view would be top notch!

The hotel was beautiful and the walking path to our cottage from the hotel felt like a scene straight out of a Gibili movie. The view from our cottage room was lovely. Though the rooms leaned slightly to the older side I personally thought it was well maintained and very comfortable. Staff were very polite and welcoming. No water bottles or coffee in rooms but there was a complimentary coffee and water area just past the lobby. Guests were free to use it. They offered lovely yukatas and room slippers for use inside the property. We didn't get the chance to use it because we were too tired from sightseeing around the area but we were informed about their public and private onsens (the private onsens have to be reserved beforehand for a fee). They had onsite restaurents, with breakfast etc but if you prefer to eat out there are some local restaurents and cafes within walking distance. There is also a 711 located very close to the hotel. Overall it was a very lovely stay.

スタッフの接し方がとても優しく丁寧でした。また、無料のドリンクサービスやアイスキャンディーのサービスなど充実しておりとても良かったです。

夏ということもあり虫がたくさんおり、部屋に入ってきていたりもした。

Great rooms, really nice onsen. Clean uncomfortable only a five minute walk from the station if that. Also conveniently right next to 7-Eleven.

Staff called the room several times in the morning when the checkout was 12 wanting me to pay for a massage that I had the night before when the woman told me to pay at the front desk at checkout.

部屋の湿気が高い、持ち込みの食事が出来る部屋でもない

温泉が6つありどれも江戸時代の雰囲気が味わえる温泉でした。私のお気に入りは樽風呂ですね。江戸時代の妄想をしながらゆっくりするのも面白いと思います。 コスパ。四つ星、5つ星のような清潔さを求めないのであればコスパはメッチャ良いと思います。

ラウンジがしょぼい。余り必要性を感じない。今の時期とても暑いのでクーラーくらいは十分に着けてほしいと思った。部屋や窓が汚くて、せっかく景色が綺麗なのにもったいない。

Il paesaggio circostante è molto suggestivo. C’è un Onsen pubblico (diviso per genere) e una vasca privata che si può riservare per un tempo limitato (es. 1h). Entrambi sono aperti fino a mezzanotte. Immergersi in questi Onsen alla fine di una giornata di viaggio è un’esperienza incredibile che consiglio vivamente a tutti :))

The cottage room had that vintage 1980s look, but was not run down. It was maintained and clean. It was nice to open the windows and get the fresh mountain air and hear the river. The Onsen was nice, just make sure you understand the procedure before going.

Staff seemed very nervous to interact with me in english, but were nice. There is no soaking in the onsen in the late morning, so if you want one more soak before check-out, you have to go early in the morning.

You can walk from Kinugawa Onsen station, no need to drive. People are friendly and the front desk people are bilinguals, very helpful. The convenience store is just a block away. The best thing was that we saw monkeys! I will definitely go back again!

We got two rooms for ourselves and our daughter and her boyfriend. The refrigerators in both rooms aren’t working. The toilet doors make squeaky noises every time open/close, it was ok day time, but worried in night time because I didn’t want to wake up my husband.

温泉が混まずゆったりとでき、シャンプー、リンス、ボディソープの備え付けがありドライヤーも充分な数がありしっかり使えた。 お風呂のところに給水があるのも良い。 朝食の量もちょうどよく美味しい…準備も早かった。 部屋からの川の景色も良かった。

コテージまでの道が暗く夜は出歩けなかった。 露天は外から丸見え感があった。 吸わない側としては喫煙所はもう少し隔離して欲しい。

Good Onsen, sadly tested only one of the two

A lot, cleaning is additional fee, the cootage is quite far from the entrance and the Onsen, no English explanation (and even the Japanese one are not clear). Room was dated and the bathroom not cleaned (bugs). Also no saop and hand towel.. The feeling in the entrance is the opposite of the feel that I got on my stay.

The view is amazing. The location is prime and beautiful. Onsen were great and relaxing

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews BUT- we took the “cottage” room- The room was a disaster. Old, dirty, stuffy. I got an allergy reaction from sleeping for just one night in this room. I wish I had some wipes to start cleaning the room myself… anyways it was a cheap option but we didn’t realize the hotel had decent rooms and then really bad rooms, I think it takes from the whole hotel’s reputation. Pictures are misleading, as it is not really being maintained. It reminds me of a dorm rather than hotel. Don’t fall for the cheap price and beautiful photos. The walls, the knobs, the window- need deep cleaning. The bathtub had tiny bugs in it, and outside of the room smelled like gas.

Живописный вид из номера, возможность пройти в онсен при соседнем отеле, большой метраж номера, удобные кровати, в номере было все необходимое для уюта и комфорта. В соседнем здании отеля есть магазин сувениров и локальных вкусностей, а также онсены, которыми можно пользоваться по определенному графику. Находится недалеко то станции. Мы останавливались здесь ради посещения Edo Wonderland и с легкостью добрались туда и обратно.

Не было завтраков, администрация находится в другом здании, чтобы заселиться или выселиться придется побегать

ゴールデンウィークのハイシーズンにも関わらず、お得に宿泊出来たのが一番のメリットです。温泉も時間帯によって女湯と男湯がチェンジするので１日の間でどちらも楽しむことができました。浴衣や草履も貸し出ししていただけるので旅館の気分が味わえてうれしかったです。

建物自体が築年数が経っているため、新しい設備を求める方には向かないです。バスタオルやフェイスタオルを温泉施設内やフロントで交換していただけるサービスがなかったのはちょっと残念でした。

The property had a nice view, beds were comfy and it was quite peaceful out that way.

You are quite far out of the main are of Nikkō and public transport is hard. It’s an outdated area with a lot of abandoned buildings. The hotel is older and sometimes the smell of the onsen was extremely strong by the rooms.

部屋の広さはまぁ良くベッドも寝やすかった

温泉に入らず、部屋のバスタブにお湯を溜めて入った後、栓を抜くとトイレまで水浸しだった。せっかく入浴したのに、床の水をしぼったり拭いたり手間がかかった。洗面台の水回りも良くない。 安いコテージを利用したので、フロントから部屋までの道のりが複雑過ぎるのも難。

掃除をされている方から配膳の方、歩いてすれ違う方、全てのスタッフさんが笑顔でちゃんとアイコンタクトを取って挨拶して下さり気持ちのいい接客で最高でした！！！ 今回は初めて利用させていただき、コテージに宿泊させていただきました。手のひらサイズの小さいドライヤーが威力あり感動しました。笑 お値段の割にゆったり少し広めでとても静か。鬼怒川が窓から見えてとても癒されました。築年数のある建物ですが、年数にしては本当にキレイ保たれてます。 フロント奥にある大浴場へ向かうまでのお座敷に、色とりどりの傘が飾られて、その日の日付が書かれた小さいボードが前に置かれているフォトスポットがありました！！スタッフさんのおもてなしが感じられます。 フロント階にあるソファーのお部屋は無料ドリンクの機械もあり、鬼怒川を眺めながゆっくりできます。いろいろなドラマのロケで使用されたようで、お部屋一周たくさんの有名俳優さんのサインが飾られてました 今度お伺いするときは本館にも泊まってみたいです。 仕事帰りに都内から車で伺ったので夜遅くチェックインでしたが、今度はゆっくりホテルステイを楽しみに伺いたいと思います。本当にありがとうございました！

風情のある素敵なホテルなので、本館カラコテージへ向かうのも石畳で良かったですが、キャリーケースだと階段もあり少し頑張らないと…という感じです。 大浴場は本館の方にあるので、先ほどの外の屋根つき石畳の階段を歩いて館内へ向かうので、寒い時期は温泉あとに履ける靴下や羽織ものが必要です。 そういう階段や外を少し歩く情報を事前にいただけると嬉しかったです。(とっても素敵だったので全く後悔しておりませんが^^) 1つ注文を付けるなら、女性用露天風呂がＳ時の様な形になっていて、大きな岩で奥側が見えないようになっています。そこに足元が見えるように明かりが欲しいです。照明が上にありすぎて、人が居るかのも真っ暗で分からず、ソロリと歩きながら入りましたが足の指で岩を蹴ってしまい悶絶しました、、笑

L’odeur de gaz devant notre chambre nous donnait l’impression que cela puisse être dangereux. Elle était aussi fortement désagréable.

La bienveillance et disponibilité du personnel, répond facilement aux questions (en anglais) ainsi qu’un petit tableau avec notre nos pour nous souhaiter l’arrivée dans l’hôtel. La literie est bonne et la chambre spacieuse. Les bains chauds sont très agréables.

Nous étions dans les cottages, ou l’on sens qu’un rafraîchissement serait le bienvenu comme celui qui a été fait dans l’hôtel principal.

Posizione bellissima, i cottage sono in una posizione stupenda, con una vista bellissima. Davvero enorme.

Peccato non poter fare l’onsen con i tatuaggi. Ho fatto un bellissimo massaggio, assicurandomi di poter pagare con la carta, ma al check out mi hanno costretta a pagare in contanti… nemmeno troppo gentilmente

It was a very nice resort. The staff was very polite and always had a smile on their faces. Whenever I visit Nikko again, I will definitely stay there. It’s a very beautiful place—there’s no better resort in Nikko than this one, and the price is also very reasonable.

部屋もお風呂もとてもよく食事もとても美味しかった。

お風呂や朝食に行くのがちょっと遠かった。

お風呂が広めで露天風呂の他、内風呂も2種類程あり、男女入れ替わるので色々楽しめます。 駅から徒歩圏。

コテージからの距離が遠く階段が多いので、スーツケースが引けず度々担いで運ぶ必要あり。 大浴場も段差が多く、濡れた状態で手摺もおぼつかない所があり、気を付けないと大怪我する危険があるのでは。

風呂の入れ替え時間がちょうど入浴タイミングとかぶってしまった。療法はいる必要はないので、入れ替え時間を挑戦してほしい。

És com fer un salt enrere en el temps als anys 70. L'hotel principal està bé però les habitacions que ens van donar estan en un annex atrotinat i per anar a l'onsen havíem de pujar i baixar escales amb una ruta laberíntica a 0 graus de temperatura amb yukata. L'escala d'entrada a l'habitació era perillosa (veieu foto), els mobles tenien desperfectes i la barana estava rovellada (veieu fotos). TV El senyor que ens va atendre rondava els 80-85 anys i va fer tot el va poder però la senyora de recepció va ser maleducada, tafanera i es va negar a gestionar una trucada telefònica.

渡り廊下が外気にさらされているので、温泉に行こうとすると大分寒い。 設備の古さや立地の若干の悪さに不安を感じる。土日祝の料金で1泊6,000円程度であれば納得して2回目使いたいと思える。

真的住得我一肚子火。 周五晚上入住，从前台开始就非常离谱。接待的大叔明显业务不熟，而且表现得听不懂我说的日语的样子，自顾自说话。带我们去房间的时候直接自己走进客人房内，还打开衣柜给我们讲浴衣和毛巾放哪儿，要不是我叫停还准备一直说。谁允许工作人员随便进客房的？ 房间又老又暗，天花板只有一盏昏暗黄灯。洗漱用品几乎等于没有：没有牙刷牙膏，没有洗面奶，剃须刀在衣柜里还是干的没泡沫，只能我们自己跑去便利店买 第二天预约了酒店的贷切风吕，被提前告知里面没有冲澡区，OK接受了，进去了发现也没有脱衣缓冲空间，踩在石板上泡着泡着还发现池边坐的地方附近居然有生锈的钉子！ 房间水一开始放出来是黄色的，后来浴室地板还莫名其妙不知道是哪里漏水，把人裤脚弄湿一片。 晚上想在酒店吃饭，被告知没预约只能去二楼拉面店。OK去了拉面店，饺子一面皮煎焦黑了，另外两面饺子皮半生不熟。拉面里叉烧肥得发腻。老板还把给的勺子直接放桌上了。我们没怎么吃就走了，老板张口就问是不是不好吃[擦汗]我们只能说吃饱了，结果老板一边收盘子一边嘀咕“真浪费”，真是绝了。 后面寻思预约酒店里打个乒乓球。去前台现场预约的，明明说的是21:30，前台写了张小纸条记成21:10，指着纸条跟他说30分也没改。还反过来说是我们迟到。说日语还装听不懂。

We stayed at Kinugawa Park Hotels in Kinugawa, Nikko (Tochigi) for two nights last weekend, and we loved every minute of it. The building is a bit older, which is noticeable in some areas, but it’s extremely well maintained. Everything was clean, comfortable, and clearly cared for, and the traditional charm of the property actually added to the experience. Despite its age, the facilities were in great condition, and nothing felt neglected or inconvenient. It didn’t take away from our stay at all—in fact, it felt like part of the authentic ryokan atmosphere.
