Traditional style bedroom

Location turned out to be not the same as advertised, only lake is visible, Fuji was on the other side. Onsen was old, and not really clean. Water smells too much like swimming pool. We were late for booked dinner, we notified beforehand, that we are not gonna make it in time. Payment was on checkin at 21:00 with no option to get there other then expensive taxi or by feet. But they still charged the dinner amount with "apologize". Breakfast was not too good. Variety was nice but individually each meal was not so great. There were no tea cups in room, there were in dining area at the reception.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very nice and the onsen was wonderful.

Mooi uitzicht over het meer en nog net Mount Fuji. Uitgebreide faciliteiten en hele fijne onsen. Het vlees bij het diner was echt heerlijk!

We hadden diner en ontbijt erbij geboekt. Er werd echter zeer beperkt uitgelegd wat voor eten er voor ons stond en hoe/welke volgorde we het moesten eten. Daardoor begrepen we niet helemaal hoe en wat. De futon bedden waren niet helemaal ons ding, maar we wilden het toch een keer ervaren. Het personeel kon zeer beperkt Engels en er hing een beetje gekke, ongemakkelijke sfeer. We vonden het uiteindelijk best prijzig voor wat we kregen.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Les repas étaient très copieux et délicieux, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié le prêt gratuit de yukata. L’onsen était presque toujours vide, ce qui nous a permis d’en profiter pleinement et tranquillement. Dormir dans une véritable chambre japonaise a été une expérience très intéressante. Pendant notre repas, le personnel a installé les futons dans notre chambre, et nous avons très bien dormi ! Le personnel était particulièrement à l’écoute et attentionné. Ils ont même gentiment accepté de nous laisser faire un check-out tardif à midi au lieu de 10h, et nous ont ensuite gratuitement conduits en navette jusqu’à la gare. Une très belle expérience que nous garderons en mémoire !

Nous avons un peu moins apprécié le petit-déjeuner traditionnel japonais, composé notamment de poisson, de riz et de soupe miso. Mais cela reste simplement une question de goûts personnels, et les amateurs de petit-déjeuner japonais l’apprécieront certainement !

Very traditional hotel. Great experience.

Expérience inoubliable en demi-pension. On vit ici dans les traditions japonaises. Le personnel est très agréable. La navette pour la gare est pratique. La vue sur le lac et le Mont Fuji est époustouflante. Bus juste en bas. Le dîner est fantastique (nous avons un peu moins apprécié le poisson froid au petit déj 😅 mais ça fait parti de l'expérience )

L'hôtel est un peu excentré. Le cœur du village est accessible à pied mais c'est mieux en bus. Vous pouvez aussi profiter de la navette le matin pour vous y déposer. Rapport qualité prix un peu élevé.

Au global, un bon moment

De n'avoir pas pu manger au restaurant de l’hôtel alors que nous avions pris du temps pour réserver a l'avance, le soir les tables n'étaient pas toutes occupées... Pas grave le restaurant en dessous de l’hôtel était très bon et nous a accueilli sans problème.

The whole experience was excellent. The food was fantastic, a great Japanese experience.

早餐吃魚的定食，還算豐盛，有很多飯和柴魚片。 可以泡湯，舒服 房間正面可以直接看到河口湖，不過富士山有點偏一邊，晚上還是可以看到富士山的山屋亮燈 四點在一樓還有提供一些關東煮，很不錯。 有提供定時的接駁車前往河口湖 前一天會寄信詢問接駁到飯店的事情，但沒注意到，沒用到這項服務。

價格比較高，但在這區有溫泉的飯店中算是比較便宜了。

The property is very well located, clean and has described. We enjoyed the dinner, onsen and breakfast. Everything was delightful!

Wonderful services in the hotel and the staff was so accommodating. It felt like a proper Japanese hotel experience and they provided us with traditional samue to complete the 'authentic' feel. The onsen facilities were so lovely and the fact that the hotel is fairly small means we could have a private experience with amazing views.

The breakfast wasn't to the likes of my friends, however I enjoyed it. Maybe it is not for everyone so be aware.

I used this hotel as base between Kyoto and Tokyo to relax a bit. I felt like royalty in there, every dinner and breakfast was a full table of various delicious dishes, always something different. I had the public bath to myself most of the time, so I didn’t even use the one in my room. Tatami room was a nice experience compared to the 18m2 business hotels I stay at during this trip. Private transfer from and to the bus/train station. Public transport right by the hotel (Around the lake route) Fuji view from bath and from rooms Daily cleaning Yukata to wear for free (even got permission for some photos by the lake with it on) English speaking staff always happy to help. They had slippers for my elephant foot!! (EU 48) Reached out to me before the stay and asked about alergies and what requests I have regarding the stay (only ones out of 5 that did this for me) Overall wonderful experience and I would do it again.

Thin walls (got woken up because someone below me had a nightmare; everytime someone was getting into the room next to me I thought they missed their door and opened mine by mistake based on the sounds) No Smart TV, just normal one (I like to watch YouTube before bed)

Localisation

The room smelled musty so bad. No shuttle bus or breakfast before 8 a.m. I had to walk 30 minutes with my luggage to the train station. Shuttle buses from other hotels were running fine at 8 a.m.

Excellent dinner and staff. Great shuttle service from station. Fantastic Onsen! Great views of the lake and Fuji.

Property has dated rooms and quite expensive for what you get.

The Japanese style sleeping arrangement was very comfortable. The lounge wear was convenient and cozy. The onsen was small but had a big window to look at the lake. There were free yukatas for rent, matcha to make, Japanese snack food between 4-7, and natural scent bags to make in the lobby. They let me drop my bags of the day before rental so we could hike Fujisan. They have a free shuttle to kawaguchiko station and plenty of parking for cars.

I could not see Mount Fuji from the onsen because of the mountains, maybe I would have been about to without the fog, but I don’t believe I would.

The town has some limits with food and other services. You get the view here but you have to go a bit further for other services.

Es simplemente uno de los mejores lugares donde tuvimos la fortuna de hospedarnos en Japón. Hubo un error de mi parte en la reserva y me ayudaron rápida y amablemente a solucionarlo ¡todo el pertsonal fue súper amable!. La comida es simplemente deliciosa y sus baños nos han encantado, son amplios, limpios y la tempertaura del agua es perfecta, además de tener unas vistas muy hermosas. Otro punto es que, aunque cuento con algunos tatuajes en mi brazo, no hubo problema al utilizar las instalaciones. ¡Completamente un lugar recomendable!

Friendly staff

Cleaning staff didn't remove rubbish or dishes from the room and also only moved the futon beds to the corner of the room. They didn't reset the room to be like it was set on arrival

喜歡飯店準備的日式晚餐，服務人員會詢問是否有過敏的食物可以避免，很貼心。早餐也是日式風格。整體來說用餐時段，服務人員都會不時前來關心詢問，很為客人著想！

我很喜歡泡溫泉的時光，外面的湖景100分。但美中不足的是，如果有提供桑拿會讓旅程更完美！

We loved everything. The view from our room was spectacular, the onsen with Mount Fuji and the lake view was absolutely breathtaking, and location was perfect. We had rented e-bikes for the duration of our stay and it was the best decision. It was so easy to do sunrise rides around the lake, short trips to the stores, and adventure rides through the surroundings where is was impossible to get lost because of the lake. I was travelling with my 15 year old daughter and her friend. They absolutely loved it as well. Breakfast was a beautiful and delicious experience, and the staff were all incredibly helpful and kind. We also loved the free artsy activities they offered. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Location

Great relaxation spot with fun activities nearby. The bath was amazing and and view of the lake and Mt. Fuji made it memorable. You can't see the whole mountain, but you can see the lights of the huts where people climb and stay to reach the summit.

Being a small hotel/ rykoban meant attentive service, opportunities to use the onsen privately, and staff that went out of their way to give guests a taste of traditional Japan.

从落地河口湖站开始可以轻松体验富士山一带的风光。酒店提供接送和温泉，以及一泊二宿可供选择，非常休闲惬意。

Красивый вид на озеро, бесплатный шатл от/до станции Кавагучико. Пижамки в японском стиле, отзывчивый персонал. Онсен на верхним этаже с классным панорамным видом на озеро. Дали в подарок брелочки и фото горы Фудзи, приятно.

Пока не пришли застилать футоны для сна, в номере не особо есть где посидеть, но это не критично. Дверь в туалет сильно скрипела. Завтрак был не очень, рыба, которую нам подали была какая-то заветренная.

The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The traditional Japanese breakfast was exceptional, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality dishes: fish, rice, soup, vegetables, salad and fruit. It was one of the best breakfasts we had in Japan. The onsen was amazing, especially with its beautiful view over the lake. The beds were extremely comfortable – it honestly felt like sleeping on clouds. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

The only downside was the location. The area is not very well served by buses, which made getting around a bit difficult. We often had to use Uber, and there are only a few restaurants within walking distance.

Las vistas eran increíbles, y el ryokan en general estaba genial. Yo llevo tatuajes y no tuve ningún problema en su onsen.Ademas el chico de recepción muy simpático nos ayudó en todo lo que le pedimos.Incluido el recogernos de la estación de tren.

連住兩晚選擇同樣的一泊二食，不過旅館很貼心幫我們準備兩晚不同的晚餐！連釜飯內容都有改變！（第一晚吃棉花糖壽喜燒是配白飯，第二晚吃涮涮鍋是配蛤蜊炊飯）讓人非常驚艷！也有冰水熱茶可以自取～早餐是簡單的純日式早餐也不錯～ 雖然旅館內只能看到3/4個富士山，但大概走5分鐘就可以看到富士山全景 地點來說也非常方便（早上早起晨跑散步或是看富士山也非常方便） 飯店可以免費接駁到河口湖站 不怕走太遠 喜歡日式溫泉旅館的榻榻米和布團傳統日式鋪床🫶 大眾溫泉池不大但可以看富士山一邊泡湯放鬆，可能因為旅館房間數不算太多，這幾次泡湯剛好都是獨自泡～ Checkout 離開旅館前，旅館會贈送富士山景色的小糖罐和景色照片，覺得很棒！

女生大眾溫泉區沒有附髮圈，女生去大眾溫泉泡湯的話別忘了自帶髮圈唷！ 我們自己有查旅館官網上大概有什麼小活動，不過check-in時工作人員沒有介紹 旅館內想要用水壺裝水的話只能請工作人員協助（但他們都非常願意幫忙裝）如果能有自助飲水機就更好了～

The food was excellent. Traditional Japanese cooking for both dinner and breakfast. We 'enjoyed' a typhoon whilst we were there - the advice we got from the staff as to how to overcome the consequential travel disruption was spot on. The pick up and drop off service from the station was also appreciated.

The staff and facility was exceptional! Kind and helpful, the staff was always there for us! The meals were not only delicious but an event of their own! The onsen was clean, welcoming, and relaxing. Our room was immaculate and I wish we could have stayed there forever! Could not recommend this ryokan more!

This has gotta be the highlight of our trip to Japan!!! The location was dreamy and perfect! We've got ourselves full days and nights of clear Mt. Fuji's view right from our room and onsen! We especially love the tatami traditional room with sliding doors, the hospitality of the staff who picked us up from the station and helped bring our luggage and food up to our room, made our bed, and always with a smile 😁 we made friends with the Vietnamese hotel concierge, Vy, too! The futons are sooo comfortable, and the louging clothes provided are super cute! The hotel's hallways were decorated with tiny cute things. The whole place was very well thought-out. When it was time to leave, we didn't wanna 🥹 We wholeheartedly love this place (honestly a happy core memory) and really want to come back when we're back in town ❤️ we have already told our friends who were impressed with our stay!

This was for the area in general, but after 7 or 8pm there was practically nothing opened, so we walked 30 minutes to the nearest Lawson for dinner on our first night arriving. Just a note for future guests to plan out dinner and transportation in advance!

The staff was amazing! They were extremely kind and helpful with giving rides and information. They were also very enjoyable to talk to - I was very surprised when one of the staff mentioned he had been to Montana in America before! Breakfast was very good and the onsen experience was super relaxing. I had not tried a samue before too so that was a great experience!

It was a bit pricey but it was also fairly worth it, though that was to be expected for such a nice stay.

O Hotel é brutal para uma experiência completa junto da cultura Japonesa. A recepção e o staff super simpaticos. Todo o Hotel é super limpo, os quartos são muito bons e com vista para o Monte Fuji. O wi-fe funciona super bem. O Onsen é fantástico e queria repetir a estadia durante mais dias.

There are hotels in the area with better views of Mt. Fuji. The room was a little dated, not in the style, but in maintenance. Example: the sliding doors would get stuck.

The interiors were partly not in greatest shape, the bed was not the most comfy one. If the hotel had been cheaper this would not have bothered us but for this price we have had better experiences.

Location, atmosphere, facilities and great staff. We particularly enjoyed the onsen. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful.

Didn't find the traditional Japanese beds particularly comfortable, but that's because we are not used to these.

Nous avons aimé le Onsen et le dîner. La vue sur le lac est très agréable. Le personnel est serviable et poli. La chambre était très propre. Globalement nous sommes contents de notre séjour.

Le prix de la chambre est élevé par rapport aux infrastructures de l'hôtel. A ce niveau de prix nous pensions que la décoration de l'hôtel était plus récente.
