What a lovely setting, with a comfortable room. Our host Nick was very welcoming, and we were fortunate to have the whole house to ourselves, as there were no other guests at the time. Beautiful setting and excellent location.

The general outlay and position on the Garden Route of Edenbrook is exceptional. The quality of accommodation and the attention of hosts Nick and Linda is the cherry on the cake.

A gorgeous little oasis in between Knysna and Plett. The rooms were big and spacious and clean and had everything we needed. A lovely treat to see baboons in the back garden at breakfast and the cats and dog became good friends too. Linda and Nick however are the standouts here. They are kind and warm and nothing is too much trouble for them. They serve a lovely breakfast every day on the terrace and put their heart and soul into it. They take care of the property and have a real caring nature for their guests. Thank you both so much for making our stay so special. We recommend going to zinzi restaurant (the one outside of town), the Knysna elephant sanctuary, Eden world of birds and Plett Ziplining.

Beautiful gardens, breakfast made form only high quality ingredients e.g. freshly squuezed orange juice, very large room and bathroom, close to Plett and Knysna so ideal location to explore both areas from the estate.

Super fijne accomodatie! Alles wat je nodig heb voor een fijn verblijf is aanwezig in de accomodatie, alles fris en goed onderhouden! De hottub is een hele fijne extra, en het verse ontbijt is echt heerlijk! Ook de hosts zijn uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam!

Tolles und großzügiges Anwesen, "mitten im Nirgendwo" - Wald, Rasen, Pool und ein großzügiger Garten war alles vorhanden - Tiere konnten auf dem Grundstück entdeckt werden (u.a. Schildkröte, Vögel, Affen aber auch Skorpion, Gecko und Schlangen; ungiftig!). Tolle Veranda zum verweilen. Tolle Lage direkt zwischen Knysna und Plettenberg Bay - Jeweils 15-20 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Knysna Elefant Park ist sogar nur 3km von der Unterkunft entfernt - ein Besuch um Elefanten zu Füttern lohnt sich definitiv!

Ausstattung der Küche war in Ordnung aber nicht üppig.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Edenbrook Country Manor. The garden is absolutely beautiful, the owners are incredibly welcoming, and a delicious breakfast is served every morning. Guests should bring a good appetite and a love of animals (there are three gorgeous cats and a lovely dog ​​named Blondie). It's an ideal base for exploring Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.

Edenbrook Manor ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen, Wohlfühlen, den herrlichen Garten zu bewundern, das abwechslungsreiche, gute Frühstück zu genießen und interessante Gespräche mit den Eigentümern, Linda und Niklas zu führen. Die Lage ist perfekt zwischen Knysna und Plettenberg an der N2 - leicht zu finden, Parkplätze sind innerhalb des Geländes vorhanden.

Wir hatten keine Beanstandungen.

Amazing amazing amazing!! We loved everything about this property. The peaceful space around us, the swimming pool, lovely large, clean room, the beautiful forest walk. I could go on and on. I had to work online and Linda was so accommodating and attentive when answering all my questions. The WiFi was super fast and my zoom calls were perfect! We will 110% be back, and next time for even longer! Thanks so so much for hosting us.

Persönlicher Empfang und Rundgang, um alles kennen zu lernen....Das Frühstück eine Wucht und tatsächliche Ausnahme vom Üblichen.... Einschließlich Müsli-Früchte Version und klassisch britisch.... A quiet, tranquil setting with a beautiful view of a forest. Staff were welcoming, and it was easy to find.

Place is unique because buildings are located in beautiful gardens surrounded by forest. We felt safe and like home. Rooms are in different buildings. Our room was quite big, comfortable, and very well equipped. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We got the impression that we are very welcome. They serve delicious breakfast in a lovely tarace or inside building, depending on weather. We relaxed in the swimming pool and on sunbeds. The location is good, halfway from Plettenberg and Knysna, so you can choose which side you go every day. We also visited Tsitsikamma, which we strongly recommend. Even though we stayed 5 nights, we wish to be longer.

De plek is echt waanzinnig. Dichtbij de N2, maar zo voelt het niet. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend vriendelijk. De hond Blondy komt af en toe even gezellig langs en er lopen hele lieve katten op het terrein. We hadden nog een extra cadeautje: een grote schildpad in de tuin. Faciliteiten voor bbq aanwezig en een heerlijk zwembad!

All the animals on the manor were lovely. The baboons were my favorites. Breakfast was great and generally relaxing around the area was nice. Would visit again.

The closest/good restaurants in the area require a reservation.

Exceptional breakfast and beautiful surrounds

The Staff was absolutely lovely and made us feel like at home. Despite being close to N2, the location is very quiet and private. The Breakfast was incredible! 10 out of 10.

Fabulous breakfast of cereals and full cooked, kept us going all day. The Edenbrook is set in extensive grounds, enabling you to have a lovely forested walk. The self catering rooms were very well equipped with all we needed, everything felt new and fresh and newly renovated. Set just outside Plettenberg Bay, but only a short drive in, meant it was very quiet & peaceful. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly

Aan alle foto's te zien hadden wij het enige gedateerde huisje op het hele terrein. Alle anderen leken fris gerenoveerd, die van ons was wat verouderd en minder fris.

A little noisy from the road.

Schöne, saubere und große Wohnung mit viel Platz und guter Ausstattug sowie einem sehr, bequemen Bett. Direkt am bzw. im Wald gelegen, was einem die Möglichkeit für einen schönen Waldspaziergang bietet und eine entsprechende Ruhe mit sich bringt. Wir sind mit Mietwage gereist, weswegen für uns die Lage etwas außerhalb kein Problem darstellte. Wir können es empfehlen. Raucherinfo: Nichtraucherzimmer, aber Rauchen ist auf der privaten Terasse vor der Wohnung erlaubt.

No internet - not a major crisis just a bit inconvenient

Everything about our one night's stay was enjoyable and appreciated, from the unexpected late check-in, to the un-booked breakfast. Both Nic and Linda were superb in accommodating the late changes. An overall pleasant experience. The cost of stay was well priced and we received value for money. The breakfast was great - thanks, Chef Nic!

Nothing that will change my experience, other than we were not able to stay longer, so we'll have to return some day soon for a longer stay.

Linda und Nick sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Bei unserem fast zweiwöchigen Aufenthalt ist es Nick gelungen, jeden Morgen eine andere Frühstücksvariation zu zaubern. Obst, Joghurt und frisch gebrühter Kaffee gehörten ebenfalls dazu. Unser Zimmer war bestens ausgestattet, mit offenem Kamin und bequemen Betten. Das Anwesen ist herrlich gelegen und bietet neben Entspannung am Pool auch die Möglichkeit zu ausgedehnten Spaziergängen. Plettenberg Bay sowie die Golfplätze der Umgebung sind in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto erreichbar. Hier waren wir nicht zum letzten Mal. Thanks a lot, Nick, Linda and Blondy

The grounds were nice. Location right between Knysna & Plett.

The room we had on the ground floor was horrible. Felt like a garage with no windows just the door in front. Noisy from the upstairs rooms as the moment they move the ceiling crackles. Left in the morning after our second night even though we were meant to stay for 3.

Schöne Lage auf 20Ha Waldgrundstück. Gut zum spazieren. Süße Katzen und ein verschmuster Hund. Sehr Gutes Frühstück am Montagmorgen. Sonntags gab es leider keins, waren Samstag bereits gegen 14.00 eingetroffen, hätte man eigentlich organisieren können. Nick & Linda ansonsten sehr freundlich

Nick & Linda geben sich alle Mühe, trotzdem hapert es hier und da. Am unserm Ankunftstag (Samstag) hätte am erwarten können dass wenigstens 2 kleine Flaschen Wasser im Kühlschrank sind. Auch das Sonntag kein Zimmer gereinigt wird sollte man den Gästen mitteilen. Ohne Charme war leider die Innausstattung unseres Zimmers, kein Stil erkennbar und das Abends die Wegebeleuchtung nicht eingeschaltet war , war unangenehm. Schade, da wäre viel mehr möglich

Wir waren 8 Personen. Somit hatten wir 2 Häuser mit Hottube gemietet. Der Besitzer hatte uns sehr nett empfangen und uns den Umgang mit dem Hottube erklärt und gleich angeheizt. Somit konnten wir ihn am Abend gleich genießen. Da die beiden Häuser etwas abseits lagen, hatten wir ungestörte und ruhige Tage. Mitten in der Natur. Die Einrichtung war sehr komfortabel. Es fehlte uns an nichts.

We prepared our own food as the establishment is self-catering. Outdoor swimming pool. The kitchen tools/equipment were superb. The support from the management was excellent even though we had challenges with on the guests.

De eigenaar is super vriendelijk. Daarnaast is de accommodatie langs de buitenkant + het domein echt een pareltje. Wij zijn er gaan lopen en dat was echt heel fijn: door de bossen, weide etc. Daarnaast is het met de auto vlakbij Knysna Elephant park (aanrader)! Verder ben je binnen 15 a 20min in het centrum om bv met zeehonden te gaan snorkelen, of om op het robberg eiland te gaan wandelen.

De kamer zelf zag er iets ouder uit. Maar was heel netjes proper en het bed was ook heel erg goed, dus voor ons geen probleem. Als je in het centrum wenst te zitten is dit wel niet de juiste accommodatie.

Het verblijf, de eigenaren waren zeer behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was uitmuntend.

Es un lugar precioso, las habitaciones son muy amplias y cómodas, las instalaciones en general bastante cómodas y la propietaria muy amable

The location is perfect. It's not too far from the mall or the beach. There's lots to do around the area and the accommodation itself is just perfect and magical.

Het was er heerlijk rustig en geweldig ontvangen. Heerlijk midagje aan het zwembad en genoten van de apen die het ook een goed idee vonden. De tuin is ook prachtig en veel vogels.

Everything about the place was excellent including the hosts and Blondie the dog and the 3 cats. Room was fullly equipped and the shower amazing. Will definitely go back when next on another road trip

Liegt an der N2, aber man hört kaum etwas von den Autos und ist sehr schnell in Plettenberg Bay. Das Apartment sehr gemütlich, die Betten bequem. Super Frühstück, sehr individuell, nette Gastgeber..

Das Bad könnte renoviert werden.

I had a lovely stay! The owner is very friendly. I enjoyed a few walks with the owner's dog, enjoying the beautiful scenery. The accommodation has such a relaxed vibe and I felt recharged after the visit. I'm definitely coming back on my next trip on the Garden Route. I highly recommend this accomodation.

I don't have any complaints, but just a tip: the exit from the property to the main road is a bit difficult to cross. The main road is very busy so be careful when you drive in and out at night.
