スタッフはとても親切で気持ち良い対応をしていただけました。朝食がたいへん素晴らしく美味しかったです。施設はこじんまりしてましたが、どこか家に帰ってきたようなそんな気持ちになれる空間でした。ウェンブリーへのアクセスが地下鉄乗り換えなしで二つの路線が利用できるのでとても便利でした。Baker Street駅からホテルへの道もわかりやすかったです。 あとまだ9月のロンドンが暑かったのでエアコンがあったので助かりました。 また次も利用したいと思います。

シャワーへの切り替えをする弁が硬くて難儀しました。壊してしまいそうだったのでスタッフの方の力をお借りしましたが私の力では動かなかったです。

朝食がおいしかった。入口、部屋がかわいかった。眺望もよかった。部屋にバスタブがあり良かった。そのほか、セキュリティボックス、冷蔵庫、バスアメニティ、アイロン＆アイロン台、もあり良かった。スタッフがとても親切丁寧だった。ベイカーストリート駅（とその周辺のバス停）から近く、スーツケースでも移動しやすかった。街が落ち着いていてとてもよい雰囲気の店が多かった。リージェンツパークに徒歩で行ける距離、朝の散歩がとても良かった。滞在中で一番ステキなホテルでした。

Excellent location for attending a gig at Wembley Stadium, easy to reach from Paddington station. That, and air conditioning in the room, were the main reasons we booked here (we attended a gig during a searing heatwave and knew we would need to be able to escape the heat). Very expensive for what you get, but I guess that’s central London for you - and when temps were soaring, that air conditioning felt worth every penny.

Breakfast was mediocre, and was served in a very cramped (and extremely hot and uncomfortable) downstairs room. Decorations a bit old fashioned.

All the staff were welcoming. My room was pleasant and comfortable. Hardly any noises from the outside could be heard in the room. The hotel isn’t far to walk from the Baker Street tube station and situated in a pleasant area of the Westminster borough. The Madame Tussaud and the Sherlock Holmes Museum are reachable by walking from the hotel. The breakfast is served with a smile and helpful staff who provide a welcoming manner. There are hot or cold options. The cooked breakfast is well presented and tastes very well.

The room door was sticking a little when opened and closed. I didn’t like the decor of the room, the wallpaper had a yellow background and chintzy style pattern. I’m sure many other guests would like the wallpaper (it’s a personal taste). According to the reception staff, other rooms had plain decor.

I have never left a bad review of a hotel but unfortunately there were too many things which need to be addressed. On arrival we were upgraded to a suite which we thought was nice as it was our wedding anniversary. The whole hotel is in need of an upgrade. Everywhere is looking very tired and worn. Our room was on the third floor so we used the very small lift and then some stairs to get to our room. I would not like to be stuck in the lift! Our room was a good size but that was the best point. The breakfast was ok but some very strange choices on the menu and very few pastries or yoghurts. The breakfast staff were very nice. The water in the room was warm.The fridge did not work which we reported and was told to use the fridge on the ground floor as the fridge was broken. How do you give someone a room in this heat with no fridge! The electric sockets got warm when using them. I've never seen a bathroom like the photos below. No coat hangers for trousers so we had to leave some clothes on the back of a chair. Needless to say I do not recommend this hotel and if I had not already paid we would have found a hotel elsewhere.

The staff at Hotel La Place were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Their kindness helped create a lovely atmosphere throughout our stay. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of a large pitcher of fresh water with slices of lemon available at reception- a very welcome addition during the warm weather. We stayed in Room 301, which was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The mattress was firm, which suited us perfectly, and the room was tastefully decorated. The complimentary toiletries were lovely, and the air conditioning was both effective and quiet throughout the night, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection of both hot and cold options, including a full English breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, pastries, toast, and a good variety of hot and cold drinks. The breakfast staff were cheerful, attentive, and very helpful. The hotel's location was ideal for our needs. It is only around a seven-minute walk from Baker Street station, making it easy to explore London by Tube. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and convenience stores nearby, so whether we wanted a quick snack or a three-course meal, everything was within easy walking distance. Despite this, the hotel is situated on a quiet side street, giving you all the convenience without the noise. The hotel also offers a 24-hour wine bar and 24-hour reception, which, although we didn't use the bar ourselves, was reassuring to have available. We also appreciated that guests can leave their luggage at the hotel before check-in or after check-out if travelling later in the day. This customer-focused approach reflects the hotel's excellent service and commitment to its guests.

Our only minor criticism was that the water pressure in the shower was a little low. It certainly wasn't a major issue, as we were still able to shower comfortably; it simply took a little longer than usual.

We’ve stayed there before. As handy for the medical world and restaurants . This time staff exceptional as John fell down the stairs, cut head and blanked out. After my patching him up , kindly looked after him and gave him a sandwich and drink as blood sugar v low( type 1 diabetic), while I dashed to the dentist . Hal was brilliant plus breakfast lady and a v nice strong man who got him up for me. So enormous thanx and plan to write to them personally

Never had any complaints really . Though think medical kit needs upgrading . I managed with what was there and we woukd like to donate an upgrade to them

From the moment I arrived, I knew that this would be the perfect place to stay. It was obvious that the management take pride in first appearances. Just take a look at the hotel from the outside. (My photo matches theirs.) My room wasn't quite ready. (I’d arrived 45 minutes early.) I was invited to wait in the Bar area, where a lovely member of staff brought me a complimentary coffee. My room was ready ahead of schedule and I was very pleasantly surprised by how roomy, comfortable and well-stocked it was with those little extras that guests always appreciate. It was spotlessly clean. Also, there were lots of plugs for charging my devices — a big plus. For a lady travelling alone the hotel is in a very safe area, right in the heart of Marylebone, so easy to get to my meetings. Refreshed after a great night’s sleep, at breakfast, the staff couldn't have been more delightful. Breakfast was exactly as ordered from what could have been a full English breakfast. But the biggest plus of all, was that this is an owner-managed hotel, that’s in the family for a second generation. Many of the staff have been there for over a decade; one staff member has been there for 35 years. This speaks volumes about how Hal, the owner, treats his staff, and why they take such easy pride in delivering ‘old-fashioned’ customer service. I won't hesitate to return. In fact, any excuse to stay over in London, as this will now become my London base away from home.

Easy to find, just 5 minutes from Baker Street Station and an NCP car park. Easy to book in. Room was cool on arrival (Great for escaping the heat) and clean.

Breakfast was ample but could do with crisping a bit.

I was delighted with my stay at Hotel La Place. The accomodation is perfectly located close to Baker St & Marylebone stations in the gorgeous suburb of Marylebone. The rooms and atmosphere of the hotel is charming & comfortable. The included breakfast is excellent & hotel staff are friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay here again when in London.

Centrally located

Old and tired decor. Mismatched furniture. Rickety windy stairs or a tiny lift that wobbled.

Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer was net. Uitstekend bed. De airco werkte heel goed. Het was erg rustig in de kamer al kan dit te maken hebben met het feit dat er mogelijks geen buren aanwezig waren. Hotel ligt in een rustig straat en kort bij een metrostation en niet al te ver van het volle centrum. Ook mooi parken zijn in de omgeving.

Niks viel echt tegen. De kamer was wel niet erg groot maar het volstond. De badkamer was wel erg smal. Sommige zaken zijn wat verouderd maar al bij al valt het nog mee.

Shower and nearly everything else in room trashed, orders at breakfast confused due to lack of English speakers, water stops at peak times. The lift is scary and the suite is not just a large double with a settee by the bed

Would of liked to see pastries at breakfast

Super central, right off Marylebone High Street but in a quiet street. Room has air conditioning which was a huge plus as well as offered breakfast

Water pressure of the shower was quite low

Staff and Mangmemt excellent....very kind and helpful. Bed super comfortable with plenty of pillows. Lovely choice of breakfast options.

Super lief personeel, ontbijt naar wens vers gemaakt, kleine maar heel propere kamer met airco, zeer comfortabele bedden en goeie ligging voor Eurostar en winkelstraten. Wij gaan er zeker terug.

Breakfast was lacking : I think these places have something to learn if they went and stayed in Italian hotels (breakfasts are elaborate there). But it was okay, just nothing I would “look forward” to.

Very comfortable stay in a great location. Very friendly staff, who were very quick to rectify any issues we did have. Good 24 hour facilities. Good air-conditioning. Great check-in and check out times. Clean and attentive housekeeping.

Perhaps not quite up to the standard expected of a four star of this price. Some maintenance issues in the room. Hash browns at breakfast were disappointing - somewhat undercooked. Seated unnecessarily close to other diners at breakfast. Could benefit from window cleaning.

Great family-run hotel. Warm furnishings, friendly service, good breakfast. 10 min walk from a major train/metro station and busses, 10 min in the other direction to lots of restaurant and cute shops. I stayed 2 nights to attend some shows in Covent Garden, but it's also very close to Baker St, lots of museums, and of course easy to get anywhere via public transport. I would definitely stay again!

Like every downtown London hotel in an older building, it's a bit chilly at night but the heater works quickly and the blankets are warm!

The hotel was perfect for my stay in London for 3 nights. On check in I was given a free room upgrade which was nice. The room was lovely and very clean. I read reviews previously that it was a little dated. Possibly so, but I thought it had a homely character. The room had all the things I needed and there was a good supply of tea/coffee, milk,biscuits which were replenished daily as we're my towels. The breakfast was plentiful with good coffee and juices. All staff were very pleasant and helpful and the man on reception (sorry...I didn't get your name) was very helpful in advising what to see at the theatre and how to get the best ticket deals. I took his advice and managed to get a really good discount on a matinee performance. They had a good up to date magazine with maps of London and tube and theatre district which was so useful. The hotel is closed to Madame Tussauds and the Sherlock Holmes museum and within easy walking distance if Oxford Street shops. Marylebone was a nice place with lots of bespoke shops and eateries. We are at Fischer's and The Real Greek. Both I would recommend. Looking forward to staying here again. It will be my go-to place when I visit London again.

A convenient location

Excellent location for our trip to Lord's. Marylebone is handy for loads of sights! Plenty of good food options locally for all budgets. The room was far bigger than those in similarly priced hotels we've visited previously. The bathroom and shower were bigger than elsewhere too.

Nothing to fault.

The hotel is charming and feels old fashioned enough in a perfect way. Breakfast was very good and the neighborhood is beautiful. The hotel is just off Marleybone High St. It exceeded our expectations in every way.

The only negative thing I can say is that the water pressure in the shower was very weak.

Exceptionally well located off Marylebone High Street and close to planetarium and Tussauds. My room was clean comfortable and the air con was very effective (not always true in London hotels). Staff were friendly too.

The location was amazing. There was air-conditioning in the room which was convenient since I was in the middle of a heatwave. Many hotels in England don't off AC so I was grateful. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Fantastic cozy sparkling clean little hotel with homy cook to order free breakfast. The space is small but full of special surprise. A library were you can leave or take book. Slippers in the room .Cozy bed with nice sheets . home away from home for the people that hate chain hotels

Room is small, I didn't mind because had everything I needed, actually I preferred it . It not suited for people with mobility issues. The shower/tub might be difficult to navigate , but has safety bars that are a nice , toughtful touch.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt, sauber, Tee und Wasser gab es auch im Zimmer.

This is a very comfortable home-from-home type hotel. The staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Fabulous location for underground, buses, shops, yet located on quiet, almost traffic free, road. Good traditional breakfast. Comfy room, clean, plentiful hot water. Good wifi. What's not to like?

Breakfast was good. Location also good. I had to repack myself at 23:30 and move to another room because the person in the room next door had gone to sleep with the tv on and extremely loud. The duty person phoned the room and also banged very loudly on the door but nothing…….. The next room had an annoying noice and I couldn’t sleep or find out where the sound was coming from,the duty person the next morning went and checked and it was the fridge! Absolutely not the fault of the staff they did everything possible except going into the room and turning down the sound or switching it off.

Lovely accommodation, situated in a great area. Close to main transport options (subway, bus routes). Really nice area with some great local cafes, restaurants, shops. After a day exploring London main tourist areas, the family really enjoyed staying "local" and relaxing around the area of Marylebone.

Not much, for the price it was a great option and will definitely stay again.
