Die Zimmer sind groß uns sauber. Generell etwas dunkel aber das stört kaum. Das Frühstück war okay. Personal ist freundlich, vor allem beim Frühstück.

In den Zimmer ist immer ein „Brummen“ zu hören und das Frühstücksbuffet hätte noch vielfältiger sein können(z.B. Müsli, Joghurt etc. fehlte)

Geweldig mooi hotel met een heerlijk ontbijt. Wij hebben in het Italiaanse restaurant gedineerd, het was fantastisch en de bediening was ook geweldig. Jammer dat we maar 1 nacht hier verbleven.

The hotel is so homey and clean. Staff are super friendly. A complementari mini-bar is great!

Nice hotel in Malang, rooms were fine and the staff was gentle

ESPECTACULAR, TODO FUE PERFECTO!! La atención del personal es exquisita, todos súper amables y atentos. El hotel es precioso, tiene dentro un pequeño museo, pastelería propia, una tienda de ropa y una biblioteca. Una maravilla. Las habitaciones grandes y muy limpias. Todo está cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle. La piscina muy agradable. El desayuno también muy bueno, con opciones de todo tipo. Un día lo tuvimos que pedir para llevar y tras elegir de qué tipo lo queríamos, nos pusieron unas cajas con el desayuno espectacular. Sin duda una estancia muy especial y maravillosa. LO RECOMIENDO 100%.

Nice decor, room was spacious and bed was really comfortable

I think we were given one of the worst possible room locations. Our room was right next to an alley, which meant we couldn’t really open the curtains to let in daylight without people walking past being able to look directly inside. Unfortunately, the noise was another major issue. Loud music was being played in the hallways from as early as 6 AM, and there seemed to be a loudspeaker positioned right next to our room. I had to ask the staff repeatedly to turn the volume down, which was extremely frustrating. On our final day, there was also maintenance being carried out on the hot water pipes. The time for completion kept being pushed further and further into the evening, and by 7 PM we still had no hot water in our room. We were eventually offered a “more premium room” (the only premium thing was a window so the room had actual daylight) which we declined as it was our last night and it didn’t make sense to move rooms at that point. However, we did use the alternative room to shower. Overall, this hotel has a lot of potential, but there are simply too many things that need to be improved. Better room allocation, noise management and communication around maintenance would make a huge difference to the guest experience.

Lokalizacja- dla kogoś komu nie zależy być w ścisłym centrum to ten hotel jest ok. , 20 min spacerem do centrum. W okolicy parę restauracji, kawiarnie.

La chambre était parfaite avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le restaurant est très bon ainsi que le petit déjeuner. Le personnel est adorable. Nous avons adoré notre séjour.

Mooi hotel in koloniale stijl. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Grote mooie kamers.

De ontbijtlocatie vonden we een beetje vreemd en het was voor een 5-sterrren hotel ook erg beperkt in keuze. Het leek alsof dit een tijdelijke oplossing was, terwijl er naar ons idee op het gelijkvloers een zeer mooie, grote ruimte beschikbaar is. De raam naar het balkon sluit bijzonder slecht af, gezien je midden in de stad verblijft zorgt dat voor geluidsoverlast van de constant passerende scooters, moto's en auto's. Een goede nachtrust is dus zeker niet gegarandeerd. Hierdoor kunnen er ook makkelijk gekko's in de kamer geraken, voor ons niet echt een probleem maar ik kan mij indenken dat sommige mensen zich hier niet goed bij voelen. Met een kleine aanpassing aan het raam (beter afstellen en afdichtingstrips plaatsen) zou dit zo opgelost zijn.

The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. When we left at midnight for a Mount Bromo tour they prepared an excellent boxed breakfast.

However, our experience was somewhat hampered by the poor communication before arrival. We had asked several times for recommendations on tours to the surroundings through booking without getting any reply. When we contacted the hotel by email, our email address was forwarded to an unknown person who proposed very overpriced and unprofessionally structured and presented trips to Mount Bromo and the Tumpak Sewu waterfall, which made us feel rather uncomfortable. This should not have happened.

Mooie goed onderhouden koloniaal hotel, goede service

Continue zelfde Franse chansson vanaf 6 uur tot 23 uur door de gangen galmen. Het is gehorig dus je hoort alles van de gang. Wij zaten op begane grond. Neem je oordoppen mee.

Excellente localisation dans Malang. Très central. Avec des petits restaurants à proximité. L’hôtel a vraiment énormément de charme et une décoration raffinée. Le restaurant La Regina propose une très bonne cuisine italienne

The new check-in time at the hotel is 3:00 PM and not as advertised in the web. I complained to the hotel and the room was only ready at 2:36 PM. See screenshot on Whatssap. If it is important to you to get your room on time, I would not recommend this hotel and in any case the hotel is not worth more than 50 euros per night.

Les restaurants sont très bons. Le coin pâtisserie/glace est sympa aussi ! Le fitness est petit mais suffisant pour une séance en vacances.

Les chambres sont très loin d’un standing 5 étoiles ! Le personnel ne nous a rien montré de l’hôtel. Il n’y a que 4 transat à la piscine (nettement insuffisant).

Quiet location.

The hotel room was dark without any natural light and therefore felt oppressive. The music piped through speakers into the hallway was quite annoying in the evening.

the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, beautifully presented in de Hemel restaurant,ie Heaven in english. the pool was beautiful, i would have liked steps to enter pool easier. the bedroom very comfortable with small balcony, nice bathroom, a rack to air towels would be great. the beds very comfortable. had dinner every night in the Western restaurant, beautiful wine, delicious food, very nice servers. we saw a cabinet which would open, people go in, door closes. we checked and it was a beautiful club/ bar with live music. Tiara in the reception very professional and friendly. young waiter, called sorry can’t recall, he is very promising, very good english already and working on his dream future, applause. we had a massage in hotel, heavenly! I thought it was a pity that the antique, old timer cars, a Mercedes and Fiat were difficult to take photos of. We left the hotel thinking, this would be hard to bypass, such a great experience, Malang also beautiful colonial style, such beautiful townhouses and villas, wide boulevard. You could almost feel the atmosphere of years gone by. i don’t approve of colonialism but can’t help thinking romantiac time would have been special for the colonials.

Tiene todo lo que necesitaba, también había restaurantes y cafeterías para desayunar cerca. Buena decoración, aire acondicionado, servicios (nos ayudaron cuando necesitamos contratar un conductor) y buena piscina.

Wonderful hotel. The best in Malang. We enjoyed every moment of the stay and the hotel is well looked after and a true 5 star experience. Most importantly the staff and service are excellent and friendly and helped us with all our needs.

No complaints. There was some slight issues with the water pressure but this was nothing major.

We had a lovely stay at Shalimar Boutique Hotel in Malang. The hotel has a beautiful and charming atmosphere with elegant decor that made the stay feel very special. The room was comfortable, and the bed slept wonderfully. The location was convenient and peaceful, making it easy to relax while still being close to the city. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast, it was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the food and cakes were delicious, and the amenities were great as well. The whole staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. A special thank you to Dani, who was extremely helpful with organizing and booking our onward journey. We really appreciated all the support and kindness.

Ontbijt was niet inbegrepen in prijs. Wel geweldig ontbijtbuffet.

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk & behulpzaam. Ze hebben er ook een aantal restaurants & bars bij die heel lekker en goed zijn. Vraag ook naar het secret café!

It’s truly a boutique kind of place. It has an authentic atmosphere with a personal touch. The place is a testimony to it’s long history yet very comfortable. It’s located in a beautiful neighborhood that feels like an open air museum.

I loved the interior of the hotel, the rooms, beds very comfortable, it’s really a great place to rest and enjoy. Breakfast was delicious, also the restaurant served amazing lunch and dinner. The staff was lovely!

The only thing I didn’t like was the use if plastic bottles, it would be much better and more sustainable to fill up glass bottles with the filter water.

Very spacious nice and clean room with good facilities. Staff were very friendly.

Nothing to complain

A very warm welcome from reception staff as we arrived and this continued from all of the staff throughout our stay. The hotel has excellent facilities and our room was perfect. Maria was especially very helpful.

l enceinte dans le couloir devant la chambre qui chante du Edith Piaf à fond et en boucle jusque 21h et à partir de 6h20.

L esthétique de l hôtel est superbe ainsi que les services proposés ( spa, institut de beaute). Très bon restaurant ainsi que les pâtisseries sont un régal

L emplacement au centre ville de l hôtel est un peu bruyant. Le manque de transat autour de la piscine pose problème ( seulement 4 transats pour l ensemble des clients)
