Nha Lan Homestay

Loved having the balcony looking over the street, the hosts were lovely, helpful but not pushy. Super easy access to places we wanted to go.

Great location, kind staff, pretty much exactly as described and pictured.

Only downside was no hot water for a shower. It was hot out so we didn’t mind but something to note.

Friendly staff, perfect location, very comfortable room.

- Really friendly and helpful hosts - helped us with bike hire, laundry and sleeper bus to Hue all for a really good price - Room is nice and comfortable - Great location in the old town

Good location in old city. Very friendly and helpfull people.

Not much I only missed the possibility to make coffee in the room. But i know for sure i would have got it when i would have asked.

Amazing home stay in perfect location and a super friendly family

At night when it rains the corrugated iron on the roof can get quiet loud especially for light sleepers

I loved the location of this homestay. Its so accessible to everywhere know old town. The hosts were really lovely, they even made us a homecooked Cau Lau as a thankful. They were able to book local tours for us that were cheaper than anything on klook. The place was simple and it had the basics I needed. Honestly, would stay there again if I come back to Hoi An. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The location is perfect.I went by motorcycle and the owner let me bring the bike inside. She was very kind.

The owner entered my room when I was not there.

A very homely-feeling homestay with lovely hosts in a great location. The room was cool, spacious and kept very clean. Also it was great to have such a large balcony.

Very little to raise here, it was a great homestay. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The host family were so nice and warm, nothing was beyond them to ensure you had your best visit possible .The breakfast was cooked to order from a good selection and Was very tasty. The room was comfortable. I would have no hesitation in returning.

almost entrance to old town area and very convenient for walk around. This is not hotel but small homestay, so room and facility are not so high grade. staffs are so kind. day time is noisy with traffic and bikes but in the night tite was very quite. I am very OK here ,thank you.

so far all okay . just Not suitable for elderly people with foot problems, steep & small stairs ( no lift ) .

I had a large room with a fridge and balcony access/view, right next to the historic centre.

great location & they’re really helpful, loved my view over town

Vse je bilo super. Prijazna in ustrežljiva lastnica oz. celotna družina je izjemna. Uredijo izposojo skuterja, izlete, nakupovanje,.....skratka vse in vedno na voljo.

The staff was very helpful, the air conditioner was a life-saver and the location is right next to the market.

Great location and really cosy property with delicious breakfasts.

Very friendly and helpful family, great balcony and excellent location in the centre of Hoi An.

Friendly, safe, relaxed, family home right in the centre of old town. Definitely recommend, especially for women travelling solo.

Nothing.

Location, friendly helpful staff

Small but convenient an we'll priced place right near the old town. Lovely people. Great to experience real Vietnam

Great location 5 mins walk from main riverfront (use Google maps not Booking.com directions as there is another homestay with the same name 20 mins walk away!).A very comfortable room for the price, with a cute balcony.

Staff a little too pushy about booking tours and trips for our liking but I'm sure others appreciate this

Such a comfortable and homey place. The staff was incredibly kind and supportive. I had issues with a bus to my next destination and they helped me with calling the operator, translating and getting me on the bus. Without asking for anything in return. Most helpful and selfless people I've ever met.

Nothing at all

Location was fantastic, within easy walking distance of all activities. This was a family run facility, everyone was fantastic. I would stay there again.

Nothing to dislike. 5 stars!

The family was really helpful, helped us book easyriders to go to Hue for a good price and were always super friendly. The room fridge was full so never had to leave the room to buy water.

Fantastic location in the Old Town, really close to the historic centre. Very helpful owner who arranged bicycle hire and suggested visits.

Nice little homestay located very close to the old town. The host is extremely helpful and can arrange for you trips or ticteks to your next destination. The room was cosy and clean - good value for money!

Great hosts. Fresh breakfast cooked to your requirements. Great position for the night market & the river

The owner and her mother were lovely and so helpful! My partner got sick and they helped us find a doctor, they helped us book a bus and gave us great tips about the town. We felt really cared for, thank you so much! The room is basic but good value for money and top location.

Everything was great

Nha Lan Homestay is a beautiful place to stay in Hoi An. The location is perfect with a quick walk to all the major sights of this lovely town. Phuong and her family are very nice and welcoming with all the help you may need for tours, transportation, bicycles and more. The Nha Lan Homestay is very clean and comfortable and my entire stay was excellent. I highly recommend a stay at this lovely place

I liked everything. I can’t wait to go back

Friendly and best

Great location, few minutes walking distance to the night market, river and most attractions. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Loved the location as well as the clean room, and lovely family. So close to the main streets of the old town but not inside of the noise. Love it.

The owner and her family are really very friendly and honest people. She took a lot of time for us to give us recommendations and organized tours and transport for us at very fair prices. We would love to come back and wish you and your family only the best. Thank you for everything :)

Excellent location with easy access to eateries, clothing shops, massage parlors, pharmacy within less than a minute's walk. Access to the old town is also very convenient. It is also very easy to book a Grab ride from the location. Host provided a pot of hot water daily upon request.

While conveniently located, the road is closed to cars after 5pm so one will need to be prepared to take a short walk from the outskirt street. Bedroom is on 2nd floor and the second flight of steps are shorter in depth so one has to climb carefully.

The location is perfect and the host family is very kind and helpful. They helped me book transport from the train station and to the airport. The balcony was great for sitting down and relaxing.

The power sockets were not next to the bed which would have been helpful for charging overnight. All in all not a big issue.

Good quiet location. The couple there were very kind and considerate. I got the breakfast every morning, given a good list of options. The owners could not have been any nicer.took the time to improve my Vietnamese language skills

Great location...we walked everywhere around the area. Basic clean homestay which we wanted to experience. Our hosts were wonderful! Extremely helpful....organized and booked tours for us, including private driver and English speaking guide.

Can't think of anything!

We loved our time at Nha Lan Homestay. The family who runs the place are so nice and made us feel like family. Breakfast was made each morning at our requested time and our room, which was on the second floor in the front, had a lovely balcony overlooking the street. As a bonus, this family has been hosting people and booking tours for years. Don't use an app, use their booking services. They can help with all the popular tours, plus Laundry and postal service. They are a true one stop place for all of your travel needs. The location is perfect, in the old town, but right on the edge so it's easy to access the Beach, and other parts of Hoi An by bike, Grab car, or walking! Will definition stay there again when I'm in Hoi An.

Located on the edge of the old town but noisy

It is on a really busy noisy road and you have to keep the windows and balcony doors shut. The room is very basic, not as nice as it looks on booking.com. There is nowhere to relax. I booked for 3 nights but decided to leave and cut my losses after the first night and found somewhere much more comfortable for a similar price

Charming old school guesthouse, great location, friendly and helpful family.

property on walking street, very convenient & lots of stores for shopping & eating restaurants....

easy locate & convenience

Amazing location and the most wonderful hosts! They were so kind and helpful. Our room had a gorgeous terrace overlooking the street too.

The accommodation is perfect. We had a room with a balcony. The owners are lovely and helpful ! The location is perfect in the old but quiet neighborhood. For excursions, scooter rent or advices, the owners are always helpful and available. It is very clean all the services are nearby next to the pedestrian street in the pedestrian street. I highly recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff

Lovely family - very helpful and gave great suggestions for things to do. Perfect location in Vietnam's prettiest town. Great value for money. Excellent laundry service.

Everything! The family was kind and helpful. My balcony was amazing. Room was comfy and perfect temp. Most of all… I was IN the middle of old town and all the action. Priceless!!!

Zero

Convenient location! Walking to all Old Town offers. Short drive to Da Nang, 3h Hue, 1h Bana Hill. Nha Lan Honestay offers an easy trouble free holiday with all tours available to book with reception. Beautiful family who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and stress free.

The room we originally occupied was hot when we arrived but cooled in the evening. We were offered a larger room with a better air conditioning unit for the remainder of our stay which was much more comfortable. Choice of breakfast was good and well presented and we were well looked after with helpful advice and access to trips.

One of the nicest homestays I have ever stayed at, the whole family were so friendly and attentive. They also have lots of information about tours and transport and can book for you for a good price. The room we were in was lovely and had a balcony looking out on the street. Location is excellent if you want to explore the old town. There is a minibar in the room stocked full of cold drinks for way cheaper than you can find in any shop in the old town so definitely make use of this if you stay! Room had a/c and a fan so was nice and cool.

If you’re looking for accommodation in Hoi An then look no further. This place is the perfect stay, the rooms are lovely and clean, ours had a sweet little balcony, the location could not be better and the host is incredibly helpful and kind. Beds are super comfortable and it is very peaceful despite being on a main road.

Great location with nice balcony.

Expected a queen bed and got two singles. One bed was very lumpy.

The stay was just perfect. Cheap, super close to the river bank, the owners were helpful - helped us with airport transfer late in the night, helped us book a tour to My Son and let us keep our bags at the reception even though we already checked out.

To be honest, there is nothing I did not like.

Location very good. Family staff friendly and helpful. Fridge provided. Bed comfortable . Wifi worked ok. This homestay is in good position and could be much improved by the hosts being a little more generous with provisions . See below

Nowhere to put suitcases or cupboards or drawer for clothes. Minimal things provided - no bottled water, no washers or hand towels. 2 small thin bath towels not changed. Outdoor balcony furniture was 3 wobbly wood stumps. Two power sockets but outside the room. Only daily room service was emptying bin in toilet. No jug or tea things. TV was advertised as cable, but not even digital. Need to update facilities with Booking services as misleading.

Excellent location.

Facilities are basic. Not enough sockets for charging our devices.

The family are amazing, treating you like one of their own. The facilities are sufficient...and supplied breakfast more than I could eat. Location just a Short stroll to all the action.

Room 205: I loved the balcony and the view onto the small lake and local houses. The peace and quiet was wonderful. The host family was very friendly and helpful. The location is great, right in the historical center. Tours, Motorbikes, Transfers...everything can be organized by the host.

The neon light in the bedroom. The old spring mattress.

Close to old town, quiet, lovely helpful and kind hosts, nice view from twin room

The location and the staff are great. Very clean, nothing to complain about

Nothing

Value for money , the owners are so kind and helpful. Definitely recommend

Great location

A budget property in a great location but contrary to what the booking confirmation states - they don’t accept payment by any card.

Amazing location, right in the old town, walking distance to all the major sights. The family were very helpful and were always there to help us organize our trip, even when we needed help with organizing something outside of their usual contact pool. The mini bar is stocked with water and drinks at very affordable prices. The bed was comfortable and there were all the amenities that one might need (AC, shower, balcony etc).

There was no bedside table. The fridge wasn’t really working. But for that price and this location I wouldn’t complain…

nice family running a small travel agency 2 rooms are located above the shop at the rear ,room is above the family courtyard and is calm, accomodation is basic but exactly according the description, clean very close from the walking area. the family can rent bikes and arrange tour and train tickets if needed. breakfast on request

The breakfast, the location and the sights from the window where quite amazing, the room is also very friendly

The rooms do not resemble the publicity photo. The family are very welcoming. Access is extremely difficult as the stairs are very steep and narrow.
