De enorme ruimte en het professionele onthaal.

Die Gastgeberin Emmy war sehr nett und hat bereits vorab alle wichtigen Fragen mit uns geklärt. Die Apartments lagen sehr zentral und in einer sicheren Gegend. Will kamen spät abends an, der organisierte Transfer vom Flughafen hat wunderbar geklappt und auch der Self Checkin war reibungslos. Wir waren im August dort. Die Heizung /Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert.

Le logement est spacieux et très propre. Il est très bien équipé, la climatisation réversible est appréciable en août ! Emmy est très chaleureuse et nous a réservé un excellent accueil. Le logement est parfaitement situé dans Cape Town, à quelques minutes à pied de Kloof Street où il y a de nombreux restaurants de très bonne qualité. Également un supermarché à proximité immédiate très pratique. Le quartier est globalement sûr, aucun problème de sécurité rencontré, y compris le soir.

What a gem ! We stayed for 5 days in this period property which is located in the gardens district with views of table mountain , just a 5-10 min walk to Kloof street abd 19 min Uber ride to the V and A waterfront . The rooms were spacious abd comfortable furnished The little garden and terrace outside our room 3 was lovely for sitting out with breakfast or drinks and there was a nice ( small) swimming pool available and a cafe room with essential items , books and some games to borrow . Emmy was a great host , helping with useful tips and trip ideas and communication was extremely easy ( we especially appreciated the late check in information as were very late arriving due to flight delay ) A really lovely place to stay as a base in Cape Town .

Nothing ! It’s was delightful . It is on a busy road so you do get traffic until late evening and early morning but it didn’t disturb sleep .

We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment is very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent—everything you need is close by, and it's easy to get to any part of the city. I'd especially like to mention the hostess—she's incredibly pleasant, responsive, and caring. She was always available to help with any questions we had. The service was top-notch! We'd be happy to stay here again and will definitely recommend it to others.

Veel kamers, grote accommodatie, veel ruimte buiten en binnen. Privézwembad. Ook drankjes te verkrijgen op de locatie, goede host, heel centraal gelegen en vlakbij kloofstreet. Perfecte uitvalsbasis om Kaapstad te ontdekken!

Het was een heerlijke, centrale plek in Kaapstad. Met om de hoek een mooi park en Kloofstreet om Lekker te kunnen eten.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in Kapstadt

Die Lage ist unglaublich. Sicher, vieles fussläufig erreichbar. Auch abends! Wir waren jetzt zum fünften Mal hier, immer tip top! Emmy ist eine sehr angenehme Gastgeberin. Bei Bedarf immer mit Empfehlungen zur Stelle.

Sehr großzügiges Apartment mit allem was man braucht und noch die eine und andere Annehmlichkeit dazu. Sehr netter Kontakt, sichere Umgebung, lediglich 5min zu Fuß zur Kloof Street mit sehr vielen guten Restaurants und Cafés (auch abends kein Problem zu Fuß dorthin und zurück zu gehen).

Den Verkehr von der Camp Street hört man, stört nachts aber nicht weiter, wenn man das Fenster zur Straßenseite schließt.

Boendet var jättefint och låg jättebra till, med gångavstånd från butiker och restauranger. Personalen var jättetrevlig och hjälpsam.

We liked so much about 5 Camp St accomodation! Emmy was so lovely - she shared some great tips and recommendations for our time in Cape Town, helped organise a rental car for us, answered questions along the way and was just so lovely. Definitely a place I would return to in the future!

You pay a premium in Cape Town for a property with a pool which was a key criteria when we booked, the pool was unavailable for use for the duration of our 4 night stay, we were not informed of the situation before we arrived.

Everything was wonderful, the shower was amazing!

Ligging vlakbij kloofstreet, ruime appartement in historisch huis en fijn terras. Unit 3 zit aan de wat drukke kampstreet dus dat hoor je goed als je buiten zit,maar dat hoort bij de stad. Lopend naar gezellig ontbijt zaak(our local) en fijne restaurantjes. Emmy is top gastvrouw!

Heerlijke ruime kamers en een geweldige locatie met uitzicht op de Tafelberg! Vriendelijk ontvangen met duidelijke instructies. Dagelijkse schoonmaak en de ideale locatie in Kaapstad om te verblijven, ook voor een langere periode!

Ontzettend vriendelijke ontvangst, prachtig Kaaps huisje met alles wat je nodig hebt, heerlijk bed en gezellig privé terrasje. De locatie vlakbij Kloofstreet was de kers op de taart.

Emmy’s welcome and contact upfront was great! We also loved the location, close to many restaurants and secure parking included and the spaciousness of the room! We felt it was good value for money. All in all 10/10!

We had a wonderful stay at 5 Camp Street Guest House! Emmy is an excellent host — warm, attentive, and full of great recommendations. She shared fantastic dining options, hiking trails, and sightseeing tips in and around Cape Town, ensuring we made the most of our visit. She even upgraded us to a spacious double-room bungalow, which was such a pleasant surprise. The guest house itself is spotless — clean in every corner with crisp white linen, immaculate bathrooms, and all the amenities a couple or family would need for a comfortable multi-day stay. The location is perfect, just 10–15 minutes from most major attractions, with many great restaurants and cafés within walking distance. Would absolutely love to stay here again on our next visit to Cape Town!

Well located just around the corner from vibey Kloof street. Great base from which to explore all the wonders of Cape Town. An extremely comfortable apartment with the added bonus of parking. Emmy is a helpful and friendly host.

The location is great, very close to Kloof Street and Table Mountain. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It's a wonderful, quiet place to rest after a busy day exploring Cape Town. Additionally, Emmy is an exceptional host who has great tips for activities and food.

Emmy is a very friendly hostess at the hospital. She was always quick to respond to our questions and provided very helpful recommendations for places to visit and things to do. This is a spacious and comfortable apartment that is very clean and equipped with everything you need. The location is safe and great, within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of popular Kloof Street. It is also easy to get to everywhere by Uber. We all are really enjoyed and will stay here again next time.

In inverno la struttura è fredda. Ci sono solo condizionatori nelle camere ma non termo in salone e bagni.

The host, Emy was brilliant, advising on Cape Town travel and sites. The facility was perfect with plenty of space, two large bedrooms, an exceptionally good lounge and a fully fitted kitchen. The location could not be better, close to Kloof Street, our teenage (18) son and his friend were able to walk out in the evening and go to pubs and clubs on their own.

Beautiful spacious accommodation superbly located within walking distance of shops and around 50(!) restaurants in popular Kloof Street, and local attractions are easily accessible. There is safe off-street parking, ad a handy communal lounge to get coffee, water wine etc. Emmy is a warm and hospital hostess who shared tips on where to go and things to do.

There’s free wifi but it didn't always work very well and kept losing connectivity.

The host is super friendly, the flat is classic Cape Town, and the location is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful place We loved it so much and wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts were wonderful.

Emmy was a wonderful host, always willing to assist. We booked the 3 bedroom apartment which was very clean, is homely and very functional; they didn’t just have beach towels but also a beach bag & toys. The apartment is close to most tourist attractions. The kids loved the pool. Will definitely go back.

Loved it here! Really comfy and spacious for 4 of us, would definitely return for a long-term stay. Rooms were very clean on arrival and again after housekeeping. Emmy was lovely and helpful, the location is so great, private parking, well-equipped rooms, smart TV..!

Great location, easy walk into the city centre and to numerous bars and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious, and extremely well equipped with very thoughtful extras such as a beach kit, cool box, air fryer, and many other helpful items. The welcome, service and thoughtfulness of Emmy the host are exceptional. Security was very good with lockable grills on the doors and windows. Air conditioning in the bedroom and Wi-Fi were both very good. There is an honesty bar for drinks, coffee etc which is very useful. The shopping service prior to our arrival was particularly useful.

No.3 was a little noisy from road noise at times but I guess you’re in the city, so to be expected. It didn’t really bother us.

Emmy and her family were so warm and welcoming. They did everything they could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The cleaning staff were also excellent and made sure our apartment was clean and tidy everyday. The location was perfect - close to many restaurants and bars and only about a 15 minute drive to beaches at Clifton and Camps Bay. We had an amazing view of Table Mountain and Lions Head from our terrace.
