Die Gastgeber und deren Angestellte sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist kein Einheitsbrei, jedes Zimmer weist andere Details in Dekoration und Architektur auf. Zudem ist die gesamte Unterkunft mit Liebe geführt und lädt zum Wohlfühlen, wie ein Zuhause ein.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The view was great and the loaction was very convenient. The room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast was wonderful.

The weather was abnormally hot whilst we were there so an air conditioner in the room would have been very welcome but the fans did help to cool the room down a bit.

This is my new favorite place to stay near Cape Town! Very friendly staff, the best breakfast, and a cozy, safe, homestay-like place, with comfortable rooms, a nice common area with couches, a nice looking small pool and a sun terrace with great views. Can't wait to come back here!

Meget venlige mennesker. Rolige, hjælpsomme, personlig kontakt. Stedet ligger højt. Værelserne er store. Det eneste, der var ledigt, da jeg bookede (solo) var et kæmpe værelse med terrasse udover havnen/bugten. Fantastisk værelse. Det er sådan en fin service med god stempelkaffe på værelset mm. Morgenmaden var virkelig god.

Everything was perfect. The host was very welcoming, the place is absolutely beautiful, you can see the ocean straight from the room, and the breakfast was truly delicious.

That we could feel at home, away from home with the most beautiful view.

I chose The Grosvenor Guest House for the view, but it exceeded my expectations with everything else as well. The owner and staff, especially Jonathan were so helpful. It was great to have a parking spot and the unit was gorgeous, equipped with everything one may require. If one wishes to self-cater, that would be easy as the kitchen is small but also equipped with the essentials. The garden not only offers a pool, but but several private spaces - all with the view. Breakfast offered a delicious and wide variety. I would love to return. The house is very close to shops and restaurants, but away from the hustle and bustle.

We liked the very spacious bedroom with balcony overlooking the harbour. Johnathon was extremely kind and helpful to us. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Steep stairs to get down to town if you choose to walk but easy to use car

Staff friendly and helpful. Room had a lovely big bed with crisp cotton linens and plenty of pillows. Kitchen area adequately equipped for light snacks and beverages.

The room had a slight musty smell which did fade once it was aired out.

The stairs (but understandable at the location)

I loved my stay at Grosvenor Guesthouse, everything was superb. My room, the staff, breakfast, the welcome sparkling wine - all made for a lovely stay. Close to town centre via a set of stairs, quiet surroundings and a lovely pool with cool (not bath temperature) water. Highly recommend.

Simons Town ist ein sehr schöner Ort um das Kap zu erkunden. Es bietet schöne Restaurants am Hafen und die Möglichkeit zu baden. Die Unterkunft wir sehr familiär und angemessen angenehm geführt. Für Frage und Problemen steht bis spät Abends immer jemand zur Verfügung.

Very accessible to the wharfs/piers for boat tours and to Boulders Beach to view the penguins. Sue and Jonathan were wonderful managers in their own way — Jonathan made the best omelettes and Sue offered to drive my friend and I down to the wharf for our boat tour.

Lovely place, great views, charming garden and various terraces. Awesome breakfast. Staff very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They gave me a wonderful room and helped me find a driver taking me to some vineyards.

Staff members at the Grossvenor are fantastic and were always alert to help with any questions. Breakfast was also great and abundant. The location is great and close to Simon's town center. Keep in mind that there are plenty of stairs if you are doing this on foot. The house is also closeby to clean and nice beaches, including those ones where you can see the Pinguins.

The hosts really walked the extra mile to provide us anything we needed!

What a fantastic view. Everything else was amazing too, the staff, my room, the breakfast, the pool and garden, good wifi. There was a tuctuc for 60 rand each way down to the town. There was a takeaway service if you wanted an evening meal. Really close to Boulders Beach and the penguins. Highly recommended!

All was perfect!

This is a really beautiful , gracious property . The decor is elegant and we loved all the artwork. Nice touches like water and sherry for our enjoyment. Sue and Jonathan made us feel very much at home. They allowed us to leave our bags at the property before check in and also after check out. The room is huge, airy with a wonderful comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea making facilities. A spacious bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast on the terrace was a treat - a wonderful view and a delicious selection of hot and cold breakfast items to enjoy. Very good coffee too. Free parking in a secure location. We were made to feel so comfortable and well looked after. I only wish we'd had more time there to enjoy it all!! Also very close to Boulders Beach and walking distance in to the cute town. We'll be back and thank you!

Not the guest houses fault but the traffic to get to Simon’s Town was awful. We had to stay closer to the airport the second night because of the exceptionally slow commute.

The stay was exceptional! Five stars! The location was breath-taking and the management and staff were accommodating and made us feel at home. Highly recommended.

Was pleasantly surprised to find the Villa to be as warm and welcoming as depicted in the pictures . Our Host Sue personally welcomed us made sure we felt at home. The one thing they do not advertise is the beautiful view at night with the Moon on your balcony . everything you could need was available , will definitely be adding them to my list of returns :)

Spacious, very clean, welcoming staff. Use of downstairs lounge and balcony and outdoor area. Breakfast was lovely sat on balcony. We could see the whales in the bay. Sue & Jonathon were very good. Would definitely come again

The only reason I marked down one star in location is the stairs. There are some going up to the property from street level but if you decide to take the short cut walking down to the town, there are lots 😩

This is a nice house situated on the hill in Simon's Town. Very clean and the staff provided laundry service and tidied up daily. The view was spectacular and was waterfront. Our family highly recommends this guest house.

Very enjoyable stay... easy walk to the centre of town and to the penquins, but also nicely elevated away from the traffic of the main road and with lovely views of False Bay, sunrises and the historical naval harbour.

This guest house was exactly what we were hoping for — quiet, convenient, easy, and relaxing. Room was very clean and comfortable, with nice amenities. Onsite parking so appreciated. The included breakfast was robust and very good, and enjoyed with a great view. Loved that we could easily walk to the Main Street, restaurants, to Boulders Beach for penguins; and it is an easy drive to the national park. Jonathan and staff were welcoming, very helpful and accommodating. We would have loved to stay longer …

Everything well-appointed.One large bedroom had a magnificent view and its own balcony with outdoor sofa, the other smaller bedroom had little view but a magnificent bathroom with its own small balcony and view. Excellent breakfasts. A good choice of continental and cooked breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and cereal, toasts eggs, etc. on a veranda with a wonderful view of the Bay. The staff were very helpful, pleasant and accommodating.

Door knobs in the smaller bedroom had protruding screws, a potential danger of scratching ones arms. This was reported to staff and will no doubt be fixed.

Peaceful and quiet. Good breakfast. Sue was friendly and very helpful in meeting immediate needs. Jonathan and his team were friendly and very reliable.

The Grosvenor Guest House is exactly what you think of when you imagine a cosy bed and breakfast. Our room was ready for us even though we arrived early, breakfast was delicious. This is a cute, quaint, B&B with two welcoming hosts at a great location.
