Het personeel was ontzettend aardig en de ligging van het hotel was prachtig aan het grote meer. De kamer en het bed waren super comfortabel, en het eten was erg lekker :)!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a beautiful view and a superb location. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and very quick to respond to any requests. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience with great value for money. Highly recommended!

Lovely location adjoining a lake. Close to many attractions as well. The rooms were very spacious. Good breakfast spread. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Lo staff è stato molto attento, ottima la cena a buffet, tutto curato, molta attenzione da parte dello staff. Purtroppo la colazione non utilizzata in quanto sia io che mia figlia siamo state molto male

La descrizione di booking non è chiara, la Deluxe non iha il balcone pertanto lo staff dell'hotel mi ha proposto una camera inferiore con balcone, che ho accettato, mi aspettavo però un ricorso per questo disguido e per non avere usufruito della colazione ma va bene. Nel complesso ottimo hotel dove andrei di nuovo

The hotel is beautiful and very clean considering the local standards and the price paid. It offers great value for money.

The swimming pool was dirty when I used it in the evening. Additionally, the buffet food is extremely spicy, with very few non-spicy or European options available.

Good food and location.. its a quiet .. if you want to relax and enjoy its nice place

A little far from the city

This is the second time I stayed at this property this year. The property is clean, well kept and the service is great. Very relaxing environment. The restaurant is great and very accommodating. Loved it.

The views were spectacular, every room was set to have one. The doors opened to make you feel like you were sitting under a verandah. The pool was pleasant. The small massage on arrival, organising the Yala tour for us. The bed was comfy and the shower delightful.

It was quite expensive compared to our other stays. The light in the room at night. The room was somewhat dated and needed maintenance.

Bardzo dobra współpraca z personelem. Manager recepcji zasługuje na premię, podobnie jak manager restauracji hotelowej - za każdym razem proponował, że zrobi coś dla dzieci, jeśli lokalna kuchnia nie będzie im odpowiadać. Mam wrażenie, że sprzątanie było 2x dziennie! Hotel jest dobrym punktem wypadowym do jazdy na safari do Yala park. Nasz pokój był bardzo przestronny i cikeawie urządzony.

Niestety smród znad jeziora był trudny do wtrzymania, podobnie jak zimna woda w basenie z powodu porywistego wiatru znad jeziora.

A beautiful lakeside property with all the amenities you would expect of such a place. We were met by Ramesh the manager who talked us through the property and informed us of a room upgrade which was unexpected and tremendousl generous and wonderful. The room was an absolute delight as were all the staff from room to kitchen to valet. A truly memorable lakeside experience with beautiful pool and easy access to nearby Yala NationalmPark. Recommended highly.

Staff trying hard to be accommodating and friendly. Nice refreshing towel when arrive and get back from safari. Checked how you were getting on throughout the stay.

Pool loungers and towels dirty/stained. Bathroom not clean. Rooms in general need updating. You can’t take any drinks down to the seating area by the lake. The only seating area outside for a drink has big clumps of straw falling onto it from the thatched roof which was dangerous. Pool also not clean with a ring around the inside.

Located in a good location not far from Yala national park, and walking distance to small shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and the view was nice over the lake. The food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast has a wide range of options. Staff are friendly. Overall a pleasant stay.

Not a problem - We had a problem with our a/c one night and they changed (and updated) both our rooms.

The rooms are a bit dated and bathroom needs redoing with mould appearing on the ceiling. There’s a raised lip going into the bathroom which is unsafe as I kept tripping on it.

The hotel is outdated. They need to pay for a renovation as it’s a five star hotel. Specially the bathroom.

Such an amazing stay. Greeted on arrival with a drink and were taken such good care of. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and view of the lake was also beautiful. We also had a lovely spa treatment which was extremely easy to arrange and relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer but used it as a base to go on our safari.

Velmi překrásné místo u jezera, naprosto milý personál a skvělé služby. Uvítali nás lotosovými květy. Využili jsme masáže, bazén, i soukromou večeři u jezera, kde nám kromě soukromého kuchaře a servírky přišel zazpívat pár písní zpěvák s kytarou. Navštívili jsme národní park Yala s jeepem za zvíŕaty.

My room is 3 floor difficult with my legs to walk no elevator and booked double bed they gave twin after that thay but a duvet and make it double and when we stay ther roof cevilion strap fallen 😂😂 every thing is good i dont like cold food they are serving and too salty

I did a heap of research regarding where best to stay to access Yala National Park. I was really pleased with my choice of EKHO Tissa. Other hotels are much closer to the park entrance but are much more expensive. Also, I like to be closer to the town to have the option to walk around a local town and have the option to eat outside the hotel - EKHO ticked these boxes. It had such a lovely feel about it - the reception and common areas had an open plan, tropical feel. The pool was just lovely - it overlooked the lake and to a small island in the lake where water buffalo would swim across to and wallow. We also had some of the best Sri Lankan food there - including a jackfruit curry that I hadn't had anywehre else (and they weren't shy with the spices - great!). We stayed for 2 nights and we never did eat outside the hotel. I would really recommend EKHO Tissa.

Preis Leistung ist etwas zu hoch für den Gesammtzustand des Hotels. Wir hatten Zimmer im Erdgeschoss aber keine Sitzgelegenheiten vor der Terrasse.

Best location A bit hot & humid .. but atmosphere at resort was top class. Clean & Nice rooms .. clean resort very well maintained. And the best part .. the Staff Sachini .. very courteous and pleasant indeed.

Exellent stay in the best location at Thissamaharama. Great room, friendly staffs, great food. Sachini at front desk and Jayasooriya at restaurant were very friendly and helpfull. The management is keeping this hotel in the top quality. Rooms were very clean and spotless.

The location is great and the grounds are well maintained

We lost power on 5 occasions during our single night stay. It the whole hotel, just our room. We were only offered a room change on one of these 5 occasions an it was after 10pm. The staff were unhelpful, slow to respond and it felt like we were a burden when requesting to have the power returned. Absolutely not what I expect from a 4 star hotel

We had a wonderful stay at EKHO Safari Hotel and would happily give it five stars. The hotel offers beautiful views over the lake, especially at sunset, which creates a very relaxing and special atmosphere. The rooms are generous in size, very clean, and comfortable, with stunning views over the water. The food throughout our stay was excellent and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. One small detail that deserves special mention is the cappuccino, which was honestly the best we had during our time in Sri Lanka. We were traveling with our three year old daughter who has an egg allergy. The staff paid incredible attention to this and went out of their way to make sure she could safely enjoy her meals and never felt excluded. That level of care meant a lot to us as parents. During our stay our daughter developed an unusual skin reaction that unfortunately got worse over a few days. The General Manager, Shantha Kumara, personally accompanied me to a private hospital, helped translate with the doctors, and even covered the cost of the visit. This level of kindness and care went far beyond what we would ever expect from a hotel and we are deeply grateful. We also highly recommend the Balinese massage by Tiara, which was exceptional and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, EKHO Safari Hotel offers excellent food, beautiful surroundings, outstanding cappuccino, and truly remarkable hospitality. We felt incredibly well taken care of and would gladly come back.

It was an amazing experience. And special thanks to the chef Anuruddha Lakshitha for the delicious food.

Very welcoming and helpful staff - from the minute we stepped out of our car after a long drive until checkout. Special mention to receptionist Sachini who went above and beyond to assist our family and our kids. Restaurant is great. Pool is beautiful.

Loved wildlife watching over the lake - if you're into birds, this is a perfect place to come! They decorated our room and gave us complimentary cake for our honeymoon which was lovely. They provided us with a good takeaway breakfast as our safari left early morning. Our room got slightly flooded due to the torrential rain but they sorted this out promptly and gave us a discount.

Parts of the hotel felt a bit dated. The buffet food was good but not the best we had! Overall felt it was a little expensive for the facilities.

I had a wonderful stay at EKHO Safari Tissa, and the property offers one of the best lake views in the area, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality in every meal. Staff provided very friendly and attentive customer service throughout our stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel also offers a beautiful tyre swing and a scenic swing right at the lake's edge, adding a unique and relaxing touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Tissamaharama for a peaceful getaway or safari experience.
