El hotel esta bien cuidado y limpio.

Muchos hoteles tiene pocas habitaciones y se hacen llamar Boutique cuando no lo es,la atencion de un hotel Boutique es personalizada,hubo dias que no tuvimos alimentos ni bebidas por la falta de personal pues hasta que llegue comentaron que alimentos y bebidas habria siempre y no fue asi.

Todo, la alberca con la temperatura correcta, mi habitación estaba hermosa y justo fuera de la alberca. Buena zona, personal muy atento y amable

Acceso a las habitaciones 100% escaleras Acceso a la piscina limitado, no apto para personas con limitantes físicas (escalera caracol estrecha) Se cuenta con frigobar y botanas en la habitación, excelente opción, sin embargo es importante informen al huésped de los precios.

The property is very private and exceptionally clean. We had a beautiful room with sea views and a great balcony where we had breakfasts brought up by the coffee shop staff.

The staff was super friendly and helpful but nobody spoke English on the grounds. We were able to send messages to Ania for any questions or requests.

Very beautiful and intimate setting. The manager Ania is super helpful and friendly and goes out of her way to make the guests feel comfortable and special.

The resort is really beautiful, comfortable, and meticulously maintained. Being small and only for adults, we barely saw anyone other than the staff. And the staff was really nice, accommodating, and a pleasure to see each day. The little cafe had a limited but excellent menu and was very convenient for a quick breakfast or lunch. The rooms felt very tropical and each one felt completely secluded and private. It is also a super convenient and quant walk to the beach.

Worse part was having to eventually leave! There are a lot of stairs, so it did require some work to get around and the busy road can be a big noisy at first,.. but the ocean, sunny days, and nighttime breezes usually put us right to sleep.

Its like a tree house villa. Nicely design with great views. Staff was attentive and the food was great. It is very quiet and private. Only a few minutes walk to La Ropa. It was easy to catch a bus to downtown.

La Villa luz was beautiful and felt like a giant tree house. I love that is adults only so it was very quiet. The pool is small but very clean and refreshing. The cafe in the property was great when you’re at the pool because you can order drinks and a bite to eat. The food and drinks they prepare are fresh with high quality ingredients. The beach is literally a 2 minute walk and you have access to lots of amazing restaurants on the beach too. Our host (Ania) was friendly and gave us lots of great tips…one day we took a boat to Playa las gatas which was stunning and we also bought a day pass at The Thompson hotel right in front of La Villa Luz and enjoyed the whole day in our private beach chairs with an adult pool and absolutely great service!! I would recommend this Villa to my friends and family and plan to maybe book it for a family trip! FYI the entire staff was AMAZING! Thank you La Villa Luz!!

no railing to step down into the pool. Very dangerous for most people trying to get in. with the cost of the hotel room , which is quite expensive for what you get, it would be nice to have a way to make a morning cup of coffee. You had to go and buy your coffee every morning.

Villa Luz is an absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. It is very quiet and private, as there are only 7 rooms. Location is perfect, just a couple blocks off La Ropa beach.

It is definitely NOT equipped for elderly, disabled or anyone who is out of shape, as there are many stairs everywhere, including a spiral staircase to the pool area. I would have also liked access to coffee in the morning (you have to go to restaurant next door), and bar service at the pool.

The room was horrible and was misrepresented in the pictures. It was horrible! we left and found another hotel to stay. This was the worst experience I have ever had traveling. Maybe you should be a bit more concerned about scams on rooms!

Good morning. As per our booking for this accommodation. We have no living room & no continental breakfast is included. I sent a message to the manager & the reply was we did not request a junior suite with a living room. I sent her photos of all documentation from booking.com with regard to this booking she said she would contact you as this information is incorrect. Very disappointing for us & our stay. Either way somebody’s information is incorrect.

Great view. One note - the bar closes at 4pm. Kinda odd. I mean why even have a bar then?

Beautiful small and quiet hotel steps from La Ropa Beach. The staff was excellent and anticipated every move. The room was very clean and we had a lovely balcony that gave us wonderful views. In addition, up one more flight of stairs there is a fabulous and very spacious common area open to all that provided panoramic views of the Zihua beach coast and an option to see the beautiful sunsets. The restaurant offered delicious breakfast and lunch and Chef Ivan will custom create meals for you. The Combi stop and taxi stands are very close should you want to explore other areas of Zihua. Also, many other restaurant options available both on and off the beach.

Perhaps having the option for a Restaurant serving dinner would have been nice. The signage at the front of the building makes it hard to spot. So intimate, that it isn't well known by cabs. There is no elevator for those with mobility issues.

The hotel is so beautifully designed, comfortable and cool. Every detail is like being in a high-end tree house that someone spent time really planning...the spare toilet paper in a hollowed-out coconut, for example. It was immaculate and the staff were all very friendly. It's an easy walk to the beach. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

The room and bed were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Quality toiletries were thoughtfully provided. Just a short 5-minute walk to the beach, complemented by a lovely pool that added to the relaxing atmosphere. The staff delivered outstanding service, attentive to every need. Overall, a truly rejuvenating experience.

Nice property but no elevator. Small winding steps to get up to rooms. No bathroom by pool. Asked for laundry one day then housekeeping did again without asking second day &third day. Extra charges incurred. Should have laundry bag in room for items requested, not assume any clothes left out is for laundry.

The property is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The entire staff, Fernanda, Ania, Viviana and Ivan were kind and so helpful with all of our needs. We are already looking to go back. Definitely recommend this place if want to unplug and relax and just a walk away from restaurants and beach. Loved it here!!

This hotel exceeded every expectation. The views were absolutely breathtaking; waking up to that scenery every morning was unforgettable. The room was incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. What really stood out, though, was the service. Every staff member was attentive, and eager to help.

Authentic, lovely boutique hotel with friendly welcoming and service from all, especially Fernanda. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in The Estrella Room. The bed was so comfortable that my husband joked about looking at the mattress to see the brand name. The hotel had a great layout so that each of the 7 rooms are private. Convenient location to many restaurants and cafes and a short 3 min walk to Playa Ropa. Our fav dinner was up the hill at La Spuma. We also enjoyed lounging at The Thompson beachfront property for an afternoon. We would def stay at La Villa Luz again in a heartbeat.

We loved everything about our room (size, comfort, own external sitting area), the staff (really friendly and helpful) & location (to the beach, terrific restaurants & taxi service). We felt safe there.

The stairs to bottom villa were narrow but our bags were carried down & up by staff. Older guests may have struggled.

Hospitality Plus! Gorgeous place and very comfortable to stay. 2 min walk to beautiful La Ropa beach. Taxi is only $5 to downtown Zihautenajo! Local food spectacular! Can’t wait until next time! Gonna make this place a habit🙌

Loved the decor throughout the property, gorgeous room with a great view. Staff were all lovely and the breakfast we had was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Only thing missing is a bar or restaurant post breakfast for when you just want to chill at the pool or watch the sunset from the balcony!

It’s a quaint villa- clean and well run. It’s basic but nice- lovely common areas. The staff are very helpful and kind!

I did not find the bed comfortable, if you want to have any natural light in your room, you have to open the wood slats which lets in the oppressive heat too. There are no windows with panes. So you choose: light or A/C. Construction during the day.

The hotel was everything and more, the location 2 minute walk to the beach, the room was an amazing size and the swimming pool was fantastic, breakfast was great, coffee brought to the room every morning, staff was attentive and helpful. We would 100% return to this hotel.

I will definitely be coming back to this Villa. Absolutely loved it very relaxing atmosphere just what my husband and I wanted.

La Villa Luz is a palapa-style building that reflects that it was originally designed by a celebrated architect as a private home. It is quite beautiful and the exquisite craftsmanship throughout reflects attention to detail and time and place. There are 7 rooms, all with private bathrooms, The rooms climb from the garden/pool level to above the street level entrance on Escenica La Ropa. The rooms have very comfortable beds and most have their own balconies. Bathrooms are roomy and provide nice shampoo and conditioner. There are AC units in each room, if needed. The small staff are lovely. Ania the manager was so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The housekeeper was so efficient and meticulous. They offer a breakfast from 8-12 with an extensive menu; the wonderful chef makes everything to order. The pool is smaller but perfect for cooling off and sitting around reading. Playa La Ropa is minutes away and we walked the beach and swam every morning. The location is great and we largely walked everywhere, whether into town or to La Ropa. Great exercise!

The physical structure of La Villa Luz makes WiFi coverage spotty at times. They probably need a mesh network and faster ISP. Not an issue for us but there are lots of steps/stairs as the building is built into the hillside. For someone with mobility issues, could be challenging.

Our room had no comfortable seating. Internet access was not available in the room. We used the common area lounges, but not private. Pool had very limited shade seating, and no hand rail for access assistance.

The staff were so helpful and kind and brought us coffee to our room each morning. The breakfast is very good but is an additional charge. The pool is on the small side but we almost always had it to ourselves and the grounds around it were beautifully maintained.

We stayed in the junior suite, garden view, and it was hard for us to tell when booking that it would be so close to the pool area and therefore didn’t feel all that private during the day. Voices carried pretty easily from our room to the pool and vice versa. Also, the traffic from the street was sometimes an issue. Though our room was still very nice, we had wished we chose one of the rooms on an upper level, with the ocean view. It would have allowed for a bit more privacy too.

Beautiful serene rooms in a garden setting. The staff are very welcoming, and the manager communicated daily to check in with us via WhatsApp. It's a short walk to Playa la Ropa and area restaurants.

Fantastic + beautiful boutique hotel a very short walk to the beach. The design touches and small attention to details are wonderful, including a very comfy bed + private balcony with breathtaking views. But the best part of this property is the manager and staff. My friend woke up sick and they helped arrange to have a doctor come and help us with her prescriptions on the day we were checking out. The property manager went above and beyond and is an incredibly kind and helpful young woman. Yes, there are stairs, which aren’t an issue at all if you’re in decent health/shape & as others mentioned, the breakfast service + food are great. They also were available to answer any questions I had immediately on WhatsApp. If you’re a fan of boutique hotels and amazing customer service, you’ll love it. I would definitely stay again.

Perfectly manicured with every detail thoughtfully planned. Ideal location just one block away from the beach and restaurants. You can still hear the waves. The staff was amazing! So kind and welcoming, friendly, helpful. The breakfasts were the best food we had all week from anywhere.

Where do I start? The entire property is stunning... serene, beautifully decorated, super clean and cozy. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and completely made us feel at home. Breakfast was divine - healthy and tasty, cooked to order by the most lovely chef. The view from our room was incredible and the pool and garden area are gorgeous, the perfect place to cool down after a day exploring. Just a few minutes walk from Playa la Ropa and lots of great restaurants, this was a great location for our home base in Zihuatanejo.
