The onsen was fantastic and the food was beautiful!

We had an alarm going off at 5am and no one knew where it came from and it woke everyone up. Also the pillows were really flat and not comfy. Other than that it was a very great experience.

Amazing ryokan, great private onsen, exceptional service, delicious and beautiful food. Highly recommend!

Muy amable y atento el personal. Ofrecen un servicio de lanzadera gratuito hasta la estación de tren de Hakone. Un entorno precioso, en medio de la montaña. Todo verde. Las habitaciones muy amplias. Teníamos onsen privado: fabuloso, relajante, confortable, íntimo, bastante caliente y se podía regular la temperatura. Tenía acceso directo a la ducha de la habitación, ideal para hacer contrastes con la ducha fría si quieres. Para cenar te prestan el Yukata (traje típico) y las sandalias. Experiencia inmersiva completa. Están incluidos la cena y el desayuno. La presentación era preciosa y muy delicada. Te explican qué es cada plato. El café está muy bueno.

Nous avons pris une chambre japonaise familiale pour 6, une super expérience. Le repas traditionnel le soir était délicieux, mais les goûts originaux étaient un peu plus difficiles pour les enfants. Le onsen privatif était très agréable.

Tout était très bien, il faut juste savoir que la navette de l’hôtel n’est disponible qu’une seule fois à l’arrivée et au départ. Si on souhaite retourner au centre pour les visites il faut marcher une bonne dizaine de minutes en pente.

L'obligation de l'horaire du diner à 18h . Nous avons dû arrêter notre excursion plus tôt, et évidemment pas faim à cette heure là. Impossible de joindre l'hôtel pour venir nous chercher avec nos valises. Sous la chaleur la montée était très pénible!

I liked the onsen facilities. I had the luck to use them alone and it was really nice. The room was big and had everything we needed. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Personally I didn't like the food.

We had a room with private onsen and view. Location was convenient, there was a shuttle bus to the train station and a few Hakone buses stopping nearby. We had the Japanese-style kaiseki and the 10-course dinner and the 7-course breakfast did test our food capacity! Everything was cooked and presented perfectly with such a supreme attention to detail and we really enjoyed the experience. We forgot a phone in the hotel and the staff were super helpful to give us a free shuttle ride so we don’t miss our train. Many thanks for the wonderful experience!

Not an issue for us but it is a 15-minute walk up the hill which can be challenging with no buses. The most convenient bus stops running in the late afternoon.

Love everything about it. Quite not busy. The half board dinner and breakfast were amazing. Hot spring bath beautiful and when we were there they were not busy at all. They were like private. The room is big and spacious. Everything is of quality. Really enjoyed the stay. Oh don’t forget to get i formation center call for pick up which was amazing.

The private hot springs, half board, friendly staff and nice room. They are happy to customise meals for allergies and dietary purposes. Great shuttle service to the train station as well.

There are no blackout blinds (just the aesthetic ones) - decent amount of sunlight gets through in early morning. Mattress / pillows can be more softer too. Rooms are a little dated comparatively.

Am allerbesten an diesem Ryokan war das mehrgängige Essen, das liebevoll zubereitet und serviert wurde, und das wirklich zuvorkommende, proaktive und bemühte Personal! Der Onsen war eine tolle Draufgabe, um nach einem langen Tag Gegend erkunden zu entspannen.

Zimmer im Standard Tower etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles funktional und sauber.

Staff were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. We included half board and the Food was unbelievable. It was the true Japanese experience. The onsen was open to the sky and there were three pools and a sauna The room was spacious and comfortable.

We didn’t know that there was a pick up service and we walked up the hill with our luggage.

Repas traditionnel (kaiseki) incroyable et vraiment très bon. Le petit déjeuner traditionnel était gargantuesque et délicieux c'est parfait pour découvrir l'art culinaire traditionnel. Le onsen privé était vraiment reposant avec une vue magnifique. On aurait aimé rester plus longtemps

Lovely staff and the free shuttle bus to get to the property. The set evening meal was beautifully presented and of excellent quality.

The room decor/facilities are quite outdated, although the reception and restaurant are nice and seem to have been refurbished more recently.

The private onsen in our bedroom was great! Dinner was excellent, breakfast was not for us.

We stayed at Aura Tachibana for two nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The highlight was the private onsen in our room that we specifically reserved and it made our stay feel much more relaxing and special. The room itself was also very spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated throughout our visit.

There were a few drawbacks that affected our overall impression. The building and rooms felt quite outdated and could use some renovation. The massage service was also a bit odd - it’s outsourced to a third party, done directly on the bed, and wasn’t particularly high quality. We also booked a package with breakfast and dinner, but the food wasn’t our favorite and leaned heavily toward seafood. Overall, while it wasn’t a bad stay, for the price we paid, we felt there are more modern and better-quality options available in the area.

Great experience with the onsen and kaiseki. Food was amazing and the onsen was a great break for us during our trip. Highly recommend.

Die futonbedden zijn wel wennen als je het niet gewend bent. Het slaapt nogal hard voornamelijk op je zij. Maar we hebben het 2 nachten overleefd en het was een leuke ervaring.

Excellent hillside location walking distance to town up a small hill. There are two towers and dining facilities in each tower. They both share one onsen. One of the towers is obviously older with standard rooms. The halls and rooms smell musty despite the air cleaners throughout. The room was spacious although the shower stall was dated. The dining areas are updated and very nice. The onsen was also very enjoyable and there is a private rooftop onsen for a small fee which requires a reservation.

Loved having a private onsen on our balcony. The views were stunning. The dinner and breakfast experience was very nice and it was so interesting to try all the different foods.

Large room in very good condition, Japanese style, very comfortable beds, part of the room was separated by paper doors which was very useful for doing work. Very helpful staff with good English. Excellent Japanese breakfast. Large onsen facilities that were very quiet and relaxing.

Only small point is it is a little further to walk from town than some other options ( but they do offer a courtesy bus).

El orsen era muy sencillo y encontramos una cucaracha . Tampoco nos contaron que los baños de arriba se podían usar .

Para empezar, segun entras la atencion que tienes es espectacular, te explican como funciona todo en unos sillones, horarios, que tiene casa planta, donde esta el onsen público, suttle gratis y si quieres te van a recoger a la estacion de hakone tambien gratis. Despues Te acompañan a la habitación y te explican cada cosa allí. Hay un yukata para ponerse al ir a cenar. En mi caso cogí onsen privado en la habitación porque tenemos tatuajes grandes que no se pueden tapar pero hay opción de coger el onsen de la terraza por 45min por un precio. La habitación era grande, nada que ver con los hoteles anteriores que estuve. Ademas cogí la cena tipica y Desayuno (que tambien es estilo japones). Es decir cogí media pensión. El precio de una noche no era barato precisamente pero compensó con creces toda la experiencia vivida allí. Hay que hacerlo al menos una vez si vas a Japón.

They very kindly accommodated my dietary restrictions during dinner and breakfast service. I emailed them in advance and asked. We recommend booking the private bath, if your room does not come with a bath.

The beds are a bit hard. Perhaps sleeping on a futon would have been more comfortable :)

A genuine traditional ryokan experience. Private onsens on the roof were amazing with a great outlook. And the food was exceptional - both dinner and breakfast. Such an array of flavours and styles.

Nothing really. It is a ways up a fairly steep hill from the village centre, but the hotel will send a shuttle down for you if you ring.

The food was amazing! The presentation was lovely and the staff were attentive and kind. We loved having our own soaking pool with a mountain view!

There was stains on the lamp and what appeared to be mold between the shower tiles. These issues were relatively minor and the other spaces were clean.

Nothing much, as we walked from the station it was vey hilly with cases. In fairness to the hotel they had a shuttle bus but only from 14:00 but we arrived before then.

Ryokan à Hakone, bains agréables et peu fréquentés, repas (kaiseki) très bons même si le petit dej est un défi pour les Occidentaux - l’expérience vaut le détour. Personnel à l’écoute et disponible. Dormir sur des tatamis/futons toujours sympa à l’occasion.

Un peu vieillot comme souvent dans les ryokan, odeur de renfermé un peu bizarre et difficilement descriptible dans la chambre. A savoir: il faut compter 1h de trajet depuis l’hôtel pour aller au lac Ashi.

Loved the private Onsen on our patio, and the food was incredible. Gave us a good idea of traditional Japanese food. A western breakfast was also given as an option. Advice to travelers, book a few extra days Incase of poor weather as we were unable to use the ropeway and pirate ship on Lake Ashi due to poor weather.

We were not aware of the hotel shuttle so on arrival it was a very steep walk up to the hotel.

旅館的員工相當友善，很耐心的跟我們解釋旅館內的設施及各項服務，是很傳統的日式溫泉旅館，很有賓至如歸的感覺。 房間的部分，因為是老牌的日式溫泉旅館，內部設施不是那麼現代化，不過該有的東西一樣不少，以商務行程來看沒那麼合適，但想渡過一個悠閒自在的假期絕對很合適。 溫泉的部分這次體驗了大眾池，是中規中矩的溫泉，旅館另外有提供私人湯屋。 餐點的部分，早晚餐都相當精緻，不過醃菜的部分稍微有點不習慣，整體的體驗還是相當好。

We very much enjoyed our stay in this traditional Ryokan. The tasting dinner was amazing. We didn’t like everything but appreciated tasting so many different things. The hotel rooms are very clean but are a bit dated. We felt this add to the charm of the area. The onsen was lovely with an outdoor garden area as well.

Hotel is goed gelegen in Hakone. Personeel is vriendelijk en een warm ontvangst. Kamers zijn groot en veel ruimte. Onsen bij de kamer was ook heerlijk en lekker kunnen genieten van het uitzicht. Leuk met diner erbij.

Het hotel is wel verouderd en kan wel een renovatiebeurt gebruiken. Handoeken in de badkamer stonken echt en mogen ook vervangen worden voor nieuwe. Het inbegrepen Diner was leuk om mee te maken, alleen het tempo dat ze aankwamen met eten was echt te snel. Dit kan beter in mindere maten met het brengen om de ervaring leuker te maken.

Tout soit l’emplacement, la vue, l’accueil et les prestations proposées dont le dîner et n’hésitez pas non plus à payer un massage en plus car prix attractif et effet très positif.

Petit déjeuner à base de poissons donc réfléchissez bien avant de le sélectionner et avons perdu 40 mn à l’accueil au moment de partir car booking ne leur avait pas confirmé que la réservation était réglée depuis deux mois au moment de la sélection et résultat taxi raté et train également avec pénalités de 20% sur les billets. Booking n’était pas joignable pendant plus de 20 mn par l’hôtel.

L'Hotel ha una buona posizione, è molto vicino al centro, raggiungibile anche a piedi dalla stazione. Lo staff è gentilissimo. Il servizio per cena e colazione è stato impeccabile, veniva tutto spiegato e le cameriere parlavano inglese. La camera era molto bella, con vasca privata sulla terrazza e un salotto con tatami. In camera erano presenti le cialde per tè e caffè gratis. In bagno c'era tutto l'occorrente ed era pulito. In camera ci hanno lasciato anche gli yukata, molto comodi per andare poi a cena.

I materassi, troppo duri per me che sono occidentale.
