The room was large and clean and was perfect for a 5 day Business trip. The location was very central and in walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Perfecte plek in het centrum van Leiden. Parkeergarage om de hoek en een waanzinnig mooie kamer!

Breakfast was great Staff lovely and welcoming and very helpful regarding how to make the most of the tourist attractions in Leiden.

Disappointed in inability to communicate with hotel prior to visit. Also to have a closed front door to welcome us! My husband is 188cm tall and got two bleeding knocks on the head from low beams in our room. Also, unable to stand straight at the toilet because of sloping ceiling. There should have been more information when booking as we no would probably have chosen differently.

Overall, a charming property with generously sized rooms, but be sure to double-check that your room assignment matches what you booked.

I booked a Superior Suite with lake view, but was assigned Room 11, which has a non-accessible terrace view instead. When I pointed this out at the front desk, I was shown an alternative room on the top floor of a connected building — but it was very hot inside with an extremely small window, so I decided to go back to Room 11. This isn't a standard hotel, and I should have read the description more carefully. That said, I was surprised to find no slippers provided and a couple of flies in the room. Carrying heavy bags between rooms on the narrow staircase wasn't easy, but I do appreciate the front desk girl who warmly helped carry my suitcase.

Boutique Hotel Steenhof Suites is een geweldige uitvalsbasis voor een verblijf in Leiden. De suites zijn ontzettend ruim en voelen heel luxe aan, al had een bad die ervaring helemaal afgemaakt. De ligging is uitstekend, precies aan de rand van het centrum, waardoor je alles op loopafstand hebt. Binnen is het aangenaam rustig en het gebouw is absoluut niet gehorig, op wat incidenteel gestommel van de bovenburen op onze dag van vertrek na. We hebben de eerste ochtend het ontbijt bijgeboekt en dat was echt heerlijk en goed verzorgd. Je hoeft het niet per se te doen, want Leiden wemelt zelf van de toffe ontbijtplekken, maar het is zeker een aanrader als je de dag gemakkelijk wilt opstarten. Het personeel was tot slot ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam tijdens ons verblijf. Een hele fijne plek om te overnachten.

Het was erg makkelijk te bereiken, bij aankomt goed ontvangen door het vriendelijke personeel. Alles werd duidelijk uitgelegd, de kamer was enorm en erg luxe! Zeker een aanrader wij komen zeker vaker terug :)

Não tem frigobar e a recepção é por tempo limitado. Mandei mensagem ao hotel, através do booking pois precisava de geladeira no final da tarde e nunca obtive resposta.

Perfecte ligging en prachtige kamers. Heel sfeervol, midden in de stad. Er ontbreekt aan niets.

Bed was voor ons iets te zacht.

De locatie is heerlijk rustig en toch bij het centrum. Verder mooie suite, ruime badkamer en zeer comfortabel bed.

Er zat een lipafdruk op het glas in de badkamer en over de bank lag nog verdwaalde chips

We were on the top floor and had 4 flights of small windy staircases. The desk clerks weren’t there when they said they would be.

Het ontbijt was niet geregeld . Ik had wel betaald . En het was ook absoluut niet lekker . De kamer was ongezellig ingericht

da localização, da vista do quarto, da amplitude do quarto, da limpeza, da gentileza dos funcionários, da facilidade de contato para o recebimento de um pacote que foi recebido e armazenado. O táxi para o retorno para a estação foi agendado pela recepção com muita boa vontade.

As escadas antigas têm degraus muito irregulares, o que dificulta a mobilidade, especialmente se tivermos que subir com as malas. Esta atividade foi assumida pelos funcionários. A falta de recepção à noite também é um fator diferenciado, não chega a ser negativo mas é peculiar.

De ligging van het hotel is echt perfect.

Als ik een minpuntje moet geven was dit de douche. Het water liep onder de deur door, wat resulteerde in natte voeten als je naar het toilet ging. Dit was met een grote handdoek snel opgelost!

Enige nadeel was de kerkklok in de ochtend, maar daar kan het hotel verder vrij weinig aan doen.

Location and size of the bedroom.

On 4 visits to the reception no one in attendance just a note saying they were running errands! We arrived at 2pm, spoke to a wall and were given access to premise remotely and told to wait until check-in time at 3pm which is fair enough. However, if you have valuables in your luggage there is nowhere to store it securely so you basically need to wait in reception until someone arrives at 3pm to check you in. At 3pm there was still no one and after once again speaking to the wall someone arrived to check us in. Our room was freezing when we entered it so turned the heaters up. The shower comes with a hand wash dispenser, absolutely nothing else so make sure you pack shampoo and body wash. There are so many hotels in Leiden we can only experience something better.

Zeer sfeervol verbouwd grachtenpand in hartje Leiden en toch rustig gelegen bij park.

De donkere balken op de mooie zolderkamer zijn mooi en authentiek, maar te laag voor iemand van 1,80+... enkele keren mijn hoofd gestoten. Mag iets aan gedaan worden!

Prachtige ruime kamer op de zolderetage van dit historische pand in de binnenstad van Leiden. De bedden slapen fantastisch en het uitzicht is geweldig. Zo gezellig met die oude ruitjes en ramen die helemaal open kunnen!

De badkamer is wat gedateerd en parkeren zit er niet bij in. Dit stond wel zo aangegeven op Booking.com dus dat viel ons nog wel tegen. Want drie dagen parkeren in het centrum van Leiden kostte nog eens € 75...

My partner said that our room was like staying in a Vermeer and that is a good description. Our stay was a very luxurious and comfortable experience. The hotel's location, right in the heart of Leiden, is ideal. The bathroom was excellent as was the optional breakfast.

It wasn't a problem for us - but to be noted that our room was in the attic space on the third floor and was accessed by a tight spiral staircase!

The location was fabulous and they were very helpful!

We stayed in the Charly suite. It was very large, full kitchen with all that was needed, comfortable bed, friendly staff. It was so nice that extended our stay for 3 days.

Dit is een fantastische locatie midden in het hart van Leiden. Je loopt zo de gezellige drukte in. Parkeren is ook eenvoudig in de dicht bijzijnde parkeer garage. Daarnaast is de ontvangst en het ontvangst gewoon echt goed!

Habe eine "Premium Suite" mit "eigenem Badezimmer" und "WC" gebucht. Das Zimmer hat kein Badezimmer, Dusche und Waschbecken sind im Zimmer eingebaut. Das separate, heruntergekommene WC mit altmodischer Kloschüssel und versifftem Wasserkasten ist in jeder Hinsicht unzumutbar.

Je kan niet slapen door de kerkklok die pal naast je af gaat. Aan de receptie gemeld waar ik de reavtie kreeg… ja dat heb je in de stad he.

De locatie is centraal, maar we sliepen op de zolderkamer waarvoor je zes trappen naar boven moest en als je op je kamer kwam waren twee grote balken over de breedte van de kamer waardoor je de hele tijd gebukt door je kamer moest lopen. Afschuwelijk

Wij twee mensen van rond de 1.86 hadden een kleine badkamer waar je niet eens behoorlijk naar de wc kon

Lokacija, atmosfera, dašak starine. Tuš-kabina udobni kreveti, ljubazno osoblje. Aparat za kavu i vruću vodu za čaj. Dočekala nas je topla soba.

Nedostaju kukice za objesiti mokre ručnike. Osim toga ništa, ostalo je sve odlično.
