Ze noemen het een boutiquehotel maar ik miste wel wat zaken. Vooral het feit dat er geen ontbijt bij zit en dat je flink mag betalen voor oa jus d'orange uit een pak!Geen doucheproducten(er hing wel iets in de douche maar stond geen beschrijving bij wat het was), niemand om je persoonlijk in te checken, schimmel in de douche en een douchekop die dringend ontkalkt moet worden. Zeer gehorig. De lokatie weegt niet op tegen het bedrag vind ik persoonlijk maar ja..

The location was perfect - very near the Hortus Botanicus & University and within walking distance of all the sites

The staircase up to my room (on the 2nd floor) was steep & narrow. Although well lit it would be quite a struggle with heavy luggage.

Location was excellent, room was clean and bathroom had all amenities.

The stairs heading to the rooms were very narrow. It was hard to manouvre while wearing formal attire, especially wearing heels… The bed at the top room is cramped in a corner with angled roof, so you have to be careful if you want to get up.

this is called ”boutique hotel”, which apparently is dutch for ”airbnb at luxury hotel price”, since it’s not a hotel, neither on a larger level (there’s no staff and only a handfull rooms spread over two town houses), nor at the smaller level (no toiletries, no bathroom mat). still the price is higher than most hotels. it’s not accessible for someone with any type of mobility issues or elderly persons since both houses have very steep and narrow staircases

Tweepersoonskamer: Perfecte locatie, mooie rustige kamer aan de achterzijde. Zeer groot comfortabel bed met heerlijk katoenen dekbed. Water en koffie/thee aanwezig. Goede informatie vooraf over check in en parkeren.

Kussens waren wat slap en voor dit geld zou het fijn zijn als je een keuze hebt. Badkamer had wat schimmel plekken.

L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Leiden, dans une charmante maison située dans une rue pavée très romantique le soir, surtout attablés dehors au restaurant de fruits de mer d'en face (Bistro Maris), qui a aussi une terrasse sur la place de l'église. La chambre est grande, bien équipée et d'époque avec sa cheminée. Petit déjeuner simple, mais correct dans la jolie salle du rez-de-chaussée. Personnel jeune et serviable.

Rien qui ne concerne l'hôtel. Le vrai problème est la distance entre l'hôtel et le parking le plus proche (le Parking Leiden Centrum, 8 Haaweg) très grand et cher. Il y a une navette gratuite qui amène prés de l'église Pieterskerk, mais qui ne marche que dans un sens à notre connaissance.

Das Frühstück - lecker aber nur ein Bagel mit Marmelade oder eine Scheibe Brot mit Rührei für 15,00 Euro, Kaffee und Tee wurden extra berechnet, mega steile und enge Wendeltreppe - kein Koffer möglich nur Reisetasche, Parken ausserhalb der Stadt allerdings kostenfrei mit Park and Ride Service, durch die Lage direkt in der Stadt bis nachts um 2 Uhr strasenlärm, für junge Leute die etwas Nachts etwas erleben möchten und fit sind (Treppe) sehr gut geeignet

Very cosy room in a traditional Dutch house, so the stairs are typically steep, narrow and winding. This is part of the character of the building, but it may be worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues or large luggage

Top Lage! Super sauber! Wunderbar, mal in einem typischen Altstadthaus zu schlafen! Kleine , sehr steile und schmale Treppe macht den Transport des Gepäcks etwas schwierig aber das ist halt so in den alten kleinen Häusern.Ichwäre gern noch länger geblieben!

Locatie zeer goed, vriendelijke beheerder. Kamer was in nette staat. In de straat van het hotel zitten een aantal leuke restaurants en cafés.

Er viel niets tegen, aandachtspunt zijn de trappartijen, deze zijn stijl.

De ligging van het hotel was prima, ongeveer 15 minuten lopen vanaf het station en vanaf het hotel was het ± 7 minuten lopen naar centrum. Ook de bedden waren goed.

Wat enigszins tegenviel was het ontbijt. Dat was a-la-carte en stevig aan de prijs. Het ventilatierooster in de doucheruimte was redelijk stoffig. Wij verbleven op de 2e verdieping en de trap van de 1e verdieping naar de 2e verdieping was erg smal en zat een vreemde draai in zodat als je met bagage loopt goed moest uitkijken.

Knus en klein hotel op fijne afstand van de winkels en restaurants. Heerlijke douche en fijn bed.

Goede ligging van hotel en in uitchecken was allemaal heel vlot en makkelijk

Kamers waren gehorig. Wc raakte verstopt.

The location was absolutely spectacular! I did not have a lot of interaction with the staff, but that which I did was a very positive. The bed was comfortable and there is wine waiting for you when you get there. You pay for it, but it’s there. I did not partake in the breakfast, so I cannot mention that.

My room was at the top of a very steep, narrow winding staircase. Was fine for me, but someone super tall or elderly could not do this so that should be noted.

位置非常好。離公車站牌，市政廳等等地點都很近。房間古典大氣，因為在一樓沒有爬樓梯的問題。

對面酒吧餐廳非常吵。午夜才關門。需要忍受噪音到凌晨。

Dit hotel is geen boutiquehotel, dit is een kamer met douche. Het bed is goed verder is alles gedateerd en een beetje armoedig. De foto’s suggereren iets anders. Het hotel is niet meer dan 125 euro waard dus afschuwelijk overpriced.

De locatie is super, de kamer was koel, aangenaam en van alle verwachte gemakken voorzien (heerlijk, een douche met een douchedeur zodat niet de hele badkamer nat wordt tijdens het douchen!). Het bed lag heerlijk en lief dat er een flesje wijn lag (die we overigens niet hebben gebruikt, maar wellicht een volgende keer). Het ontbijt was erg lekker.

Helaas was het koffieapparaat kapot en was er geen koffie beschikbaar tijdens het ontbijt. En bij het boeken las ik dat het ontbijt 12.50 zou kosten, maar dat was duidlijk niet aan de orde. We hebben uiteindelijk 15 euro pp betaald, dat is toch een beetje jammer.

De ligging en de uitstraling van pand en kamers.

Clean and cute. A/C worked well. Comfy bed. Good wifi. Walking distance to many cafes and bars. The 17 minute walk to the train station is picturesque and takes you through the center of town.

It's very loud; you will hear EVERY step that every person takes on every floor of this building. All the doors bang and slam shut quite loudly, on all 3 floors, especially the front door, and it sounds like it's happening in your bedroom. There's also a bar next door full of college students shouting loudly into the night. For some reason, the restaurant on the ground floor of this hotel is closed practically every day and night; we never ate or drank there because it was closed 99% of the time; it was only open for a private birthday party one night. Needs a bathmat and better hooks in the bathroom.

Knus sfeervol hotelletje. Leuke zolderkamer lekker ontbijt a la Carte te bestellen en dit alles is te vinden in een leuk rustig straatje. Alles op loopafstand. Vriendelijke beheerders

Midden in de stad gelegen. Kleinschalig. Kamer aan de tuinzijde waardoor complete rust. Heerlijk ontbijtje in het zonnetje bij een ontwakend Leiden.

Klokkensteeg is een geweldig oud straatje. Kamer met prachtige oude houten balken.

Bed: ik lag een kuil. De hoteldeur stond drie keer toe open en zonder toezicht als ik bij het hotel aankwam, waarvan twee keer in de avond. Op de dag van uitchecken is het fijn dat je je bagage nog even mag laten staan in de hal. Toek ik in de middag de bagage kwam ophalen, stond de deur weer open en er was niemand aanwezig. De bagage had gestolen kunnen worden. Gelukkig was dit niet gebeurt.

Room location. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. Service at breakfast was warm, friendly and professional.

Noisy guests arriving with screaming, running and jumping child at 23.30 all three of our nights stay, above our room. Air con unit seemed intermittent on evening and night when it was most needed.

Stairs need to be a mountain climber. Breakfast was too twee. Either have an inclusive price and serve up a buffet or don't bother. Certainly not worth the climb up and down the stairs to sit in a sterile room for an a la carte offering, which was okay but not really worth the effort.

Les Escaliers sont très serrés, petits, raides. Ok pour moi mais plus compliqué pour mon conjoint qui est grand et avec un sac à dos. La porte du bas qui est bruyante mais peu ouverte au final car il n'y a que 5 chambres par adresse

Eine tolle Lage, mitten in der Altstadt! Sehr bequemes Bett!

Mangelnde Sauberkeit. Der Boden, besonders der Teppich war unrein. Das Fenster längere Zeit nicht mehr geputzt. Der Kapselautomat sehr verunreinigt. Im Bad ist die Spiegelleuchte defekt. Auch die Duscharmaturen sind nicht mehr fest verankert. Für ein Boutique Hotel sollte es auch selbstverständlich sein, die eigentlich schönen Holzregale mit etwas Öl zu pflegen. Beim Check out haben wir niemanden angetroffen, die Schlüssel und die City tax auf dem desk hinterlassen und per sms dieses mitgeteilt. Schade, ein tolles altes verwinkeltes Gebäude mit Charme…

Op booking.com staat dat het ontbijt 12,50 pp is. Maar het is gewoon van de kaart. Garden view is zicht op een heel klein binnen tuintje. Maar nu zijn wij de ruimte in het oosten van het land gewend 😅.

Great location along the canal. Easy access to downtown and bike paths.

Death defying stairs to get to your room. Bathroom had a very pungent smell coming up from the shower drain. Had to sleep with the window open to allow for fresh air.

This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed at in my life and yet also nearly the most expensive. The issue that made us check out 3 days before the end of our prepaid 4 night stay was something highly allergic in the air in our room that made it impossible to sleep more than an hour without coughing and clearing my throat. But the sum total of other issues should give cause to anyone else considering this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel door the staff gave us instructions to a public parking area a half mile from the hotel. The instructions included a route down a narrow one-way street that was totally blocked by stanchions in the ground, and we were forced to back out for 200 feet with MANY pedestrians and bikes trying to get around us. This saga continued until a very helpful pedestrian gave us clear directions to the parking area. When we finally made it back to the hotel, they had fortunately carried our bags up three flights of a narrow, winding, spiral staircase that we would have been completely unable to negotiate with a suitcase with steps half the width of a man's foot. It felt quite scary going up and down to our room with no luggage at all. When we reached our room, we found a bedroom with absolutely no space around the bed for a table or movement. One of us had to climb over the other to get in or out of bed. I suppose the owner thinks this and the ridiculously dangerous staircase are what makes it a "boutique" hotel! In any case, the day after we checked out, I wrote to the hotel and Booking to ask for some sort of refund because of the allergy problem that I had ONLY in that hotel. I never heard anything back from either the hotel nor Booking. Think about all this before you consider making a reservation at the most non-boutique hotel I can imagine. The only pleasant part of our stay was the breakfast that the friendly manager cooked for us before we left.
