The location is amazing, the views, fire pits, gardens, and beach access are great. It’s very quiet at night. The hotel is clean and it’s convenient to have a great breakfast restaurant on site.

The staff reassigned our room to another family after we checked in. While this was worked out, it was stressful and should not have happened. Additionally, we stayed during a heat wave and they did not have a working fan. While the weather is outside the hotels control, they should be more prepared and have fans.

Das Hotel bzw. das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Parkplätze sind nahe an den Zimmern (wenn man rechtzeitig anreist). Der Pool hinter dem Gebäude war schön und die ganze Anlage sieht sehr gepflegt aus.

Da wir spontan entschieden haben morgens etwas früher loszufahren, haben wir abends noch nachgesehen, ab wann die Rezeption für den CheckOut da ist. Dies sollte ab 7:00 Uhr morgens sein. Leider war bis 7:25 keiner da. Obwohl mehrere Bedienstete (Gärtner,..) am Gelände unterwegs waren, hat sich keiner zuständig gefühlt oder uns unterstützt. Da wir das Zimmer schon vorab bezahlt hatten, haben wir die Schlüsselkarte mit einer kleinen Notiz beim Briefeinwurf der Rezeption eingeworfen, in der Hoffnung, dass das OK geht und eine E-Mail geschrieben! Wir haben dann am Vormittag die Info via Mail bekommen, dass die Rezeption ab 8:25 Uhr besetzt ist!??!

Nicely decorated room with comfy bed. Unfortunately we only stayed for one night so could not fully enjoy what this place can offer, however it is beautifully located with a pathway nearby with beautiful ocean views.

You could walk to an ocean view but it definitely wasn't visible from the property. The description made it seem like it was. Seemed a bit pricey.

Location was beautiful grounds were nice - very nice coastal walking path right across the road. Wonderful if traveling with a dog.

We stayed four nights and our room wasn't cleaned once, I don't require every day service but two out of the 4 days to empty trash offer towels give more coffee would have been standard to me. We were out of our room from 7:30 am onwards as my dog needs exercise, no one knocked when we were back in room.

היה מושלם!!! מיקום מדהים סמוך מאוד לחוף. ממליצים ממש להגיע לא מאוחר יחסית על מנת לעשות מדורה ולנצל את המתקנים המדהימים. החדר היה בסדר גמור, מרווח יחסית ונקי.

יש מטבח שיתופי אבל אין בו שום דבר מינימלי כמו סכו״ם. כשביקשנו נאמר שאין. כל עוד יש מטבח במקום האירוח מתבקש שיהיה בו ציוד מינימלי על מנת שניתן יהיה להשתמש בו.

The location is good, beachfront, just across the boardwalk.

Thin walls, no air conditioner, windows should be opened to let the cool breeze in as well as any outside noise and sand/dust.

It was beautiful, clean and the staff was really great! The Ranch and the view of the beach is amazing! They have a pool, fun games and you can buy Smores to eat around the fireplace! Would highly recommand! :)

The property is located in a quiet area, although it is quite far from shops, restaurants and mobile phone coverage. The rooms are fairly standard, and overall the stay was fine.

The biggest issue was the check-in. After a full day of sightseeing and many hours of driving, we arrived to find the reception closed. There was only a note on the locked door saying that the staff is taking a meal break. We had to wait around 40 minutes before anyone appeared to give us the room keys. This was extremely frustrating, especially after a long and tiring journey. During check-in hours, the reception should be staffed, or guests should be informed in advance about any break and given an alternative way to collect their keys.

Great place to stay, room was spacious and very clean. Had a mice pool, fire pits for evening sitting.

No views of the beach and low toilets. If you wanted food, restaurant was next for breakfast or lunch.

There was a wedding on a Thursday. When we checked in, no one told us it was happening. Then it was insanely loud even in our room until 1am. Def understand having a wedding, but on a Thursday? We absolutely should’ve been told since we werent able to sleep until 1am . And we were placed next to the wedding party who woke us up at 3am again playing music in their room. Tried to talk to the staff and were dismissed.

There is no cell service! Trivial, but when you’re trying to pull up Maps but can’t cause once you leave the property and lose WiFi, you’re without service. Additionally, for our 3 night stay, housekeeping never came by to clean. They stopped by our other room, where my older kids were sleeping, but not my room.

The room was charming, comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our needs.

However when we checked in we were told we could have breakfast delivered to the room. No cost was mentioned so we thought it was a perk. The next morning we received our breakfast of yogurt, pancakes, egg, toast, hash browns and two coffees 20 min late and for the most part cold. We weren't happy about that but didn't say anything (we should have) as we were in a rush to leave. When we checked out we were given a receipt that we didn't look at until we got home. We had been charged $83 for that breakfast. Called the management, reported this and was told sorry nothing they could do three days after the fact, we should have reported it when it happened. There were no prices on the card we filled out for breakfast so we had no idea, but I am now told there was a QR code that would have told us.

It was neat and clean and right by the water. Its so cute. They have fire pits outside to relax. Its right at the edge of all the hotels on moonstone. It was nice and quiet.

My family traveled with our dog for the first time and our stay was perfect. There was ample space for our dog to walk and all of us were welcomed at the restaurant. My dog was pet and given a pup cup by staff. This was a fabulous experience!

The only improvement that could be made is having extra towels already in the room.

Would choose somewhere else. Booked the rodeo suite for more room and the kitchen but not a lot worked and wasn’t easy to cook. The front desk had to ask to make sure there were pots when I called to check. Oven pan was too large for oven so we couldn’t use. Bring your own. Fire safety light stays on so bright at night you can’t sleep, and it blinks! Room needed maintenance. Window crank is broken, curtains off rails and shower door didn’t close, no blow dryer in the room and couldn’t get a response from the front desk until the morning. For the money i would choose another hotel.

Location was good

The room was dirty when we came in my husband found white sticky stuff on table. The walls on the bathroom was dirty. The toilet had stains, and there was coffee stain on the rug and garbage on the floor like a little piece of coffee wrapper.

Staff was pleasant, easy parking, clean room, bathroom, & bedding, great weather.

Payed extra for a patio, that looked at a pool not nice scenery, no privacy...noisy outside as well as upstairs, which we didn't know we would have people stomping above us for two days. Just very disappointed.

This is my third time staying at Oceanpoint Ranch and I love it. If you are looking to get away from your fast paced life, this is it! It's away from the other hotels, quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I took my dogs and we received a welcoming gift for them. I appreciate their attention to detail and care.

The housekeeping schedule was not kept and we came back to a dirty room with dirty sheets and towels instead of a clean room with fresh sheets and towels. Not housekeeping service was available.

I was a photobooth vendor for a wedding. The accommodations, staff and venue was top notch. They were very accommodating and the room was spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean and quiet. Highly recommend.

Everyone seemed nice. I had a standard room. I had easy access to my car.

Because my room was next to a wedding venue with loud speakers--auction, music--which I found out about just as I arrived and was informed only by asking questions, I requested a room away from the venue as I was there for a resort vacation, NOT a wedding. Unfortunately, the help could not move me to another room comparable to the one I had reserved and paid for through Booking.com nor could I receive a partial refund as I had booked through a "third party." Another matter, petty perhaps: I asked three times for an ice bucket and three times I never got one. And the coffee maker was broken. That problem was fixed immediately. BUT for the price, $400 per night, I feel there were too many problems. (Please note: This note is the most critical hotel evaluation that I've ever written.

The front desk was not friendly. I spoke to a woman at check-in, she seemed almost inconvenienced that I was there. I spoke to a man at checkout- not the most friendly. For the amount of money I spent I would think there would be complementary coffee available.

Management is rude to guests. They just want your money. Stay somewhere else. 1/10

Cleaning staff works hard I can tell, only thing was our room still smelled like a strong detergent smell from the floors. Other than that, great stay.

Excellent location within short walking distance to beach, and nice fire pit amenities.

Room was pretty cramped (only space for one chair for 4 guests).

Bad experience, staff placed us in the hottest room with a 4 month old. When I spoke to them they said we can upgrade you for 70$ more a night. But they should have accommodated us in the beginning but the morning staff he was moody and annoyed already. They basically told us ehh it’ll be over just wait it out unless you wanna pay more. Ocean point if you see this I want to be refunded because your staff was terrible.

Great hotel for family! The poor staff had to deal with some seriously rude Israelis. My family is black and we have had no issues whatsoever staying here! It’s our favorite spot. The staff has always been extra friendly and the service always spectacular.

Nestled just steps away from ocean bluff, Ocean Point Ranch offers a perfect place to relax, enjoy trails with stunning ocean views and even meet a new friend by the fire pit. Rooms were charming, very comfortable and clean. Plenty of amenities for all ages to enjoy (warm pool, shuffle board, yard games, fire pit and more). Special shout-out to Bri for very warm welcome! Also, home to a great breakfast spot - the Cow Tipper (delicious Monte Cristo!).

We had a great stay and experience at Oceanpoint Ranch, and would absolutely stay again. The location was convenient and visually stunning, with easy access to the ocean and views of the water and verdant cypress trees. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and well designed, and my daughters loved the heated pool and activity game room. The onsite restaurant, the Cow Tipper, stood out as the best breakfast we enjoyed on our week long vacation up and down the California coast. Do not miss out on their bacon or country potatoes. Thank you so much for an incredible stay!

I am shocked by the video that was published and by the way Israeli guests were allegedly treated. In my view, every business in the hospitality industry must provide a respectful and safe environment for all guests, regardless of their nationality or religion. Based on what I saw, I have lost trust in this hotel, and personally, I would not choose to stay there and would not recommend it to others.

Love the proximity to the boardwalk. The property is also serene and quiet. Clean room and comfortable bed. Love the fireplace!

I absolutely loved Oceanpoint. The woman who checked me in was so nice. I was initially in a second floor room (only a few of those) and asked to change to first floor and I was helped right away. The rooms are well appointed. If you are in a fireplace room, you get a bag of wood a night. I was given food recommendations. It's super family friendly but worked perfect for me as a solo who liked to walk to the beach over the green. This was probably my favorite stay in Cambria.

It was a very pleasant stay. Would recommend it .plan on coming back .

Location was amazing. It was beautiful outside with the lights and fire pits going. The room was good size and was fairly comfortable. It has great breeze coming through when the front window and sliding door were open. It was pretty sound proof, there was a baby in the room next to us and we never heard anything when they were in the room even though we could hear them outside.

The room wasn't as clean as i would expect. When we came in there was dust on the tv stand, splash marks down the side of the cabinet where the trash can was (obviously someone missed the can when throwing something away). There was a random piece of metal on the sink that clearly fell off of something but wasn't put back on (had no idea what it went to). Toilet paper roll was almost completely empty. Not enough lighting in the room. Once the curtains were closed, it was like a dungeon. If the bathroom window was open, anyone can see you as they walk past.

Excellent location, just a few steps from the ocean. The surroundings are very peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. The rooms are stylish, modern, and beautifully designed.

Early in the morning, noise from staff carts near the apartments occasionally disturbed our sleep. In addition, our room lacked sheer daytime curtains that would have provided privacy while still allowing natural light in. We noticed that some other rooms had them, so it would be great if they were added to all rooms. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this property.

I loved being able to go across the street to walk on the bluff overlooking the beach! At sunset we hiked along the beach and returned to sit by the firepit. Shuffleboard and horseshoes were available for outdoor activities - nice.

This is our third year coming up to the ranch from San Diego. Three things that make this a yearly trip. One location right across the street from the board walk makes getting out early more fun. The walk is about a mile long and the sea is always putting on a show. Two, the rooms are perfect and well maintained. The cost of ocean point ranch is perfect for two teachers that just finished their spring semester, just before summer school and state beach lifeguarding. Three, the staff is so friendly and kind. We brought our dog this time and the staff was just as gracious this time as they were when we traveled without our dog. They are simply the kindness most attentive staff you could wish for. See you nexts year friends!
