Perfect for dogs. Walking area next to hotel was a great surprise.

Ground floor bedrooms next to outdoor dining area. Ash trays around the outdoor dining area and on our porch.

A lovely pub /guest house that is very dog friendly.

We had the room by the carpark so would have been. I’ve to have a gate from the patio are to the car park for dog safety both others coming in to ours going out.

Great rooms, very well equipped. The staff were great and the food at dinner and breakfast was spot on.

Lovely rooms and facilities. Cozy and quiet, easy check in and friendly staff. Stayed while on a busy work trip, so I really appreciated the home from home feel at the end of the long days.

I recommend paying for food/drink as you go, rather than charging to the room. I had a few items charged to my room on one night. A simple mix up I assume. Easily resolved, but I’m glad I checked the bill before leaving.

Absolutely brilliant could not be any better really enjoyed are stay , staff absolute credit to company , really helpful and very accommodating

Un magnifique endroit au cœur de la campagne anglaise. Nous avons été très bien reçu. La chambre correspond parfaitement à l'annonce, bien équipée et au calme. Parking donnant sur les chambres. Le restaurant sur place propose une bonne cuisine, idéal pour se restaurer sans avoir besoin de se déplacer. (pour info si vous diner un soir, vous obtenez 30% de remise pour le soir suivant sur l'ensemble de la note!). Proche de Winchester. Je vous invite à vous balader autour du Running Horse, le village de Littleton et ses haras sont magnifiques.

Was very hot ,fan was provided but it was very hot.

This is a quiet place in the country, yet has everything you need for an evening to relax and have a good night's sleep. The included breakfast is generous, and the place has a full bar to accompany optional dinner. The room was very quiet and bed firm and comfortable.

There's nothing to not like, but there isn't much in walking distance from the hotel. Having said that, Winchester is only a short drive (or even bus ride) away.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber.

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Leider gab es einige Speisen micht mehr, die auf der Karte standen. Es wirkte etwas chaotisch. Trotzdem war es dann doch ein netter Abend.

Amazing place! The reception was really nice, the room was excellent, the bed was very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was extremely good. Breakfast was beautifully served and tasted amazing! Location is very good!

La deco de l’établissement est très sympa Les chambres au bout de la cour sont isolées et très calmes. Très bons petits déjeuner attention aux prix et formules qu’on propose

Il n’y a pas d’airco dans les chambres mais un dyson. Nous avons mangé pdt trois jours à l’hôtel et nous avions reçu un bon de réduction de 30% sur les repas Nous avions bien demandé aux serveuses lors des repas qui nous a bien dit aucun souci et lors de la note finale nous n’avons rien eu comme déduction. Aucun détail sur ce qu’on a mangé Personnel un peu trop peu et débordé pour un mois d’août.

Dinner was okay. Trout should have been accompanied by a paunchy salsa. Instead a bit tasteless, finely chopped tasteless fresh tomato sauce. Pleasant service though. Breakfast was very tasty. Beautifully cooked.

Very helpful and cheerful staff. A very comfortable room 11 and everthing we needed. The bathroom basin tap was very noisy when running cold water so may have woken adjacent room users. The food was very good and promptly served.

A nice relaxed atmosphere.

We had a one night stopover, great rooms, very comfortable. The pub food was lovely, the breakfast too. Nice quiet setting and we loved the stable theme through out. Highly recommended.

ottima posizione, le camere sono di pertinenza di un pub ottimo perché offrono una abbondante e molto buona colazione cucinata sul momento in aggiunta a un piccolo angolo self-service con bevande e altro. La camera è grande e pulita, il materasso del letto è molto comodo. Parcheggio gratuito. Il pub cucina molto bene, abbiamo sempre fatto cena da loro, ottimo

Stanza grande, nuova, molto curata con un’attenzione agli ospiti oltre le aspettative. Ogni giorno ci veniva lasciata una bottiglia di acqua in frigorifero e 4 biscotti buonissimi. Ottima fornitura di caffè in cialde e tea.

Purtroppo la temperatura della stanza era esageratamente calda, soprattutto la notte siamo stati costretti a dormire con la porta aperta perché era impossibile dormire. Tuttavia le temperature in generale erano alte e ci è arrivato addirittura l’allert del governo UK quindi penso sia stato un caso eccezionale

We liked Everything. We had no complaints whatsoever. The staff were amazing and so friendly. The room was very comfortable and the shower 🚿 was the best.

It was a good position in the countryside, with comfortable accommodation.

The service in the restaurant was not always as might be expected. All of the bar and waiting staff were very pleasant; they didn’t seem to cope with the pressures when a number of guests arrived at the same time. It sometimes felt that we had been forgotten.

The room was well equipped and tastefully decorated. An unexpected delight considering the village location. Dinner was delicious, and so was breakfast. A lovely pub as well with lots of variety behind the bar. Good GF options as well. Great sized mugs for the room.

No coasters by the bed. Other than that not much to criticise really. No decaf in the coffee machine as an option which is a shame. We ordered a meal and the wrong one was delivered, we didn't want to wait for the chosen one so were given a discount which was a shame.

Cadre typiquement anglais cosy très agréable et charmant . Personnel vraiment adorable et aux petits soins.

La chambre familiale est bien agencée et grande mais sans lumière directe du jour (car dans un petit couloir) ce qui était assez dommage (et chaud!) en plein été

staff were great , food wonderful and the accomodation was far better than i expected , really nice touches like a fridage with cold water and a good coffee machine . excellent shower too.

This was our second time so we new what to expect with friendly and helpful staff and a excellent breakfast.

We slept half the night with room door open as the fan in room was not very good.

The room was dark. No light. It was set in an alleyway. The fridge didn’t work which a note said was because of the hot weather 🥴. It was very tired.

The room was lovely and clean, plus there was a fridge in the room, which was amazing. The bathroom was a lovely size and the shower gels etc were lovely and off very good quality. The bed was comfortable and an excellent size topped off with a fan which was needed, radio and tv.

They were little wooden chalets very picky and very hot One door and large window next to it No other ventilation The windows open up totally their is nothing to secure them DANGEROUS INSECURE PLACE Anyone can come in so what’s the point of locking the door There is a side entrance to area is open to anyone from pub who can walk round to these chalets and take anything or even attack you or steal your child I did not stay there as not safe I will be writing to Booking .com also the county council and safety committee about this place No CCTV either It’s a disgrace they take your money and offer you no secure place to sleep !!

We did have trouble getting into our room the handle wouldn’t turn the staff had to come and help us and they also found it difficult not sure what is going on many of the rooms have different handles our room needs the handle that is on the inside which was easy

The Running Horse facilities are fantastic. Modern, clean, and practical. They also are modern and newly decorated with each room bursting with character.

We loved the location. Everything in the room was spotless. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is great.

Urige Unterkunft etwas außerhalb von Winchester.

Unser Zimmer war etwas dunkel und direkt gegenüber der Terrasse. Bei 35 grad konnten wir deshalb leider nicht richtig lüften, weil die Leute davor saßen.

Ωραία μπάρ δίπλα στα δωμάτια. Τα δωμάτια καθαρά και με ωραία διακόσμηση. Αν και το parking ήταν ανοικτό, λόγω της ήσυχης τοποθεσίας ήταν ασφαλές για τις μοτοσηκλετες μας.

Το ακουστικό της τουαλέτας ήταν σπασμένο με αποτέλεσμα να μην βοηθάει να κάνεις μπάνιο. Το χειρότερο όλων όμως που μου χάλασε τις επόμενες δύο ημέρες διακοπών μου, ήταν ότι αφίσα έξω από το δωμάτιο τις μπότες της μοτοσυκλέτας και το πρωί δυστυχώς πότισαν την γλάστρα ακριβώς από πάνω και όλα τα βρόμικα νερά έτρεξαν μέσα στις μπότες μου και φυσικά δεν μπορούσα να τις φορέσω το πρωί. Δυστυχώς στέγνωσαν μετά από δύο μέρες... Θα έπρεπε να είναι ποιο προσεκτικοί... Επίσης το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ ζεστό, και ο υποτυπώδεις ανεμιστήρας δεν βοηθούσε καθόλου. Επίσης ήταν πολύ θωρυβοδης

Our room was clean and comfortable. The facilities (restaurant and bar) were excellent, creating a great atmosphere. Location was great in close proximity to Winchester.

Under normal circumstances it wouldn't be an issue but we stayed during a heat wave and without air-conditioning the unit was quite unbearable.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Winchester. Great location. Friendly welcoming staff. Room was surprisingly well-equipped, bed was comfortable. Good outdoor space in front of room to relax. Bar & restaurant menu was as expected. Fan was very welcome in the extreme heat. Definitely recommend.

Modern and well equipped. Well decorated and appointed. Bed and bedding were exceptional.

Some areas needed a little TLC. A couple of cobwebs in the room, paint scratches and shower trap needed cleaning. Very minor things though!

What an absolute gem of a place! Will make a trip back to Winchester to just enjoy this pub and accommodation more! Was the last stop on our south coast tour and only for one night but wish we could have stayed longer to fully enjoy the pub and surrounding area. Will definitely book direct with the pub in future to take advantage of the treats that come with it. Lovely interiors to the rooms, fresh and well designed and spacious - great parking and lovely little decking areas in front of each room to enjoy your pints on! Love the stable door design that’s in use for the room doors too (great complementary homemade shortbread biscuits in the rooms too, could have eaten 10 :) )

Stayed for a night while visiting Winchester. Had accidentally booked the wrong night but the staff were able to accommodate us at no extra cost which was extremely appreciated. Great location. Room was really nicely done, bed was comfy and place was quiet. Great outdoor area to enjoy a beer and the sun. Definitely recommend. Breakfast excellent.

Die Cabins sind ok. Badezimmer klein. Der Pub ist sehr gemütlich.

Dinner ist so gerade ok, keinesfalls mehr. Frühstück empfehle ich Eier und Toast zu bestellen, die Menü-Kombis sind weniger zu empfehlen.
