Old Village & Prestige

Everything was very clean and modern with excellent facilities in the apartment. The old village itself is so beautiful and kept lovely. Pools and bars are great too. There’s a little Spar too which is very convenient. Short uber ride to the marina or a 20 minutes walk.

The steps up to the apartment so would opt for a lower level apartment next time. The staircase inside the apartments are very narrow and steep so not great for people with any walking issues.

Location = excellent , easy walking distance to local restaurants / Bars & shops. Also, easy 20 mins walk down to the marina.

Pet hate - not enough hangers in wardrobe. it might seem petty, but I'm not a traveller who can leave out of a suitcase. Wardrobes a little dated, but for for purpose.

Resort itself is excellent. Lovely helpful staff, great pools, beautifully maintained grounds and building exteriors. A selection of restaurants and bars and an onsite shop. Walking distance to marina.

Location was excellent. Apartment was clean. Pools were amazing and the restaurants were great and good value for money.

The apartment itself needs some TLC. Just some modernisation (damp smell on wardrobes, beds too big for rooms, walls marked and paint coming off wall) there was also a bad smell coming from the drains on and off. Wouldn’t stop us from staying again though as they are minor! One other minor thing was the communication before check in we didn’t know where to go and check out details were vague also. Minor things!

Beautiful that the complex had everything in it

People putting towels on the sun beds early morning and then walking away the fact it's 4 euro a day to hire a sunbed is ridiculous apartment was very dated ants on the floor bathroom was old

Great location, everything required is onsite and its very quiet at night. Lovely clean apartment with wonderful views from the terrace.

A limpeza do apartamento antes de entrarmos foi muito fraca, havia cabelos no chão e na casa de banho, a banheira não tinha sido limpa (ainda tinha areia dos anteriores clientes!!)

Pretty village setting with a nice selection of cafes and restaurants. The local “spar” stocked everything we needed and was reasonably priced. It was a nice 15/20 minute stroll to the marina and beach, where there were plenty of places to eat and drink and just relax and people watch. After dinner we would walk back to the village have one last drink in one of the bars before taking a cocktail back to the apartment to enjoy whilst playing cards on the roof terrace. The nearby golf courses were beautiful (this was the reason my husband and son chose Vilamoura) and they were not disappointed.

The swimming pools and surrounding sunbathing areas were quite small and very busy and you were extremely close to the person next to you. It was the height of August but it was really hard to get a sun longer by the pool so we went to the beach most days.

The location, Old Village is a lovely place to stay.

It was old and not well maintained, in a much need of a renovation.

The staff were friendly and the apartment was very clean with everything we needed

Very far from the beach unfortunately so we had to get a taxi. We were charged €15 to get to the beach.

You get charged €4 each morning and afternoon that you use a sunlounger by the pool!!!

O verde circundante do apartamento

Só mudam toalhas de três em três dias . Horrível . Pedem uma caução de 100 eur . Que dizem que fazem a devolução depois de fazer check out . Sai na segunda feira 10/08/26 e até hoje não recebi a devolução dessa quantia . Tive de ligar ( informaram que se tinha esquecido) e ia fazer . Até hoje ainda não está esse valor na minha conta . As piscinas sem vigilância, com bóias pessoas a mergulharem a incomodar os outros . Mesmo estando a informação que não é permitido. Horrível

Lovely interiors, three balconies, all the kitchen equipment you could think of.

Some of the mugs were dirty. There are a few tiny steps thought I would suggest to be marked clearly to avoid tripping/ injury

Really nice quiet location but with good restaurants and bars close by. Just 30 minute walk to the bustling marina area. The apartment was clean and comfortable with lots of space and a nice front terrace. It has a good kitchen and large lounge, perfect for a couple who don't want to be in a hotel.

The apartment could do with aircon in the bedroom. There is a portable device which is OK but does not cool the room as much as we would like. Sunbeds need upgrading. There is a roof terrace but there are no sunbeds or shading so was unusable. The swimming pool was nice but does not have any sunbeds.

Grounds were immaculate and beautiful, great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were right above jaks bar which I was initially concerned about, but it was completely fine, noise was minimal and didn't bother us, and was very handy for a morning coffee and croissant! Also in a great location for access to the dolphin pool. Overall we were really impressed with old village and enjoyed our stay,our little home from home.

Our particular apartment was in need of modernisation. Bathroom and kitchen in particular, although both were clean and usable, shower wasn't the best. We weren't able to use the terrace as the sunbeds were so brittle from the sun that they had broken.

Loved the grounds, it's a lovely relaxing vibe. I would stay again but not in the complex we were in.

I didn't like the apartments, they were just ok, nothing fancy, there were lots of silverfish crawling around on the floor when we arrived late in the night which kind of freaked me out but they were all gone by morning. We had no balcony only a rooftop terrace which is just not the same as having a balcony. It was poorly maintained, one of the beds was ripped and there was no mattress to lie on. If I had known there was no balcony I wouldn't have booked this accommodation so make sure to check as not all apartments have.The pool we had access to had no beds to lie on but the main complex pool had but it was enclosed so you needed some kind of fob to get in. We didn't bother to find out.

Generally the property was of an excellent standard. Great location , with easy access to local amenities. Apartment has a fantastic outdoor space, ( balcony) Secure surroundings, only residents with access keys to gain enter to Grounds / pool.

Lo que más nos gustó fue la terraza,las zonas comunes y que el complejo turístico tiene 3 piscinas muy bien cuidadas.También hay una pastelería que le desayuno es muy bueno y un supermercado.

Los baños les hacen falta reformas.

Apt was clean and has airconditioning in bedroom

Stairs in apt was very dangerous and definitely not suited to families and elderly and outside balcony and furniture very dirty not kept very well. Also no cleaning in room with fresh towels. Apt was well kept and kitchen was very nice with all essential gadgets but would not cook in due to outside area not very nice. Also only one key and fob for apt very annoying having to use fob to get in and out of pool area and having to pay for sunbeds. With cost of sunbeds and taxi’s better off staying nearer marina in hotel as would work out better value for money.

The food was lovely in all restaurants had some great meals with friends and staff were great to

Our room had broken cupboards in bathroom and bed , was 2 single beds pushed together which I was surprised about , but overall was ok , loved the complex and staff very friendly

The studio apartment was modern, spotless, and in a great location right next to the pool. It also had a large balcony with sunbeds and a comfortable lounge area, which was perfect for relaxing. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the mini supermarket had everything we needed for our stay. Overall, a fantastic place to stay.

No complaints, we liked everything.

Beautiful setting, the trees and shrubs are exceptional. Only ten minutes walk to marina, nice restaurants and bars and a friendly atmosphere.

A localização é excelente, tranquila e central, no Old Village Prestige. Apartamento impecavelmente limpo e com espaço perfeitamente equipado e adequado para duas pessoas. Acabado de ser renovado, com todo o equipamento moderno.

Poderiam ser facultados alguns itens na cozinha (3/4 cápsulas de café, sal, azeite, 2/3 pastilhas para utilização da máquina da louça) A máquina de lavar louça ainda tinha anilhas próprias de ser um equipamento novo que impediam a sua utilização.

Apartment was cold in morning as shaded from sun but lovely in afternoon which was our preference & lots of birds around the complex

The choice of places to eat and drink, you didn't have to leave the complex, it really did feel like a village with its various squares. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. It was just a 25 minute walk to the marino which was also a bonus.

We couldn't get access to 2 of the pools as you needed a fob. The one we could get access to, did not have sunbeds which was disappointing. However this did not take from our enjoyment and we would stay again.

It was not as clean as I would have liked. It was a little grubby. The beds were very uncomfortable. Bed clothes were old fashioned and grubby.

Pool was lovely and on arrival staff very friendly and helpful and walked us to or apartment. Room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Location was ideal had bars restaurant everything you need and it was about 1.5km to the marina. I will be booking again.

Only think I could fault was towel changing we washed or own.

Good location & amenities

A lot of light bulbs weren’t working including the main fluorescent light in the kitchen, it would be good to have these checked routinely. Balcony furniture is in need of replacement.

Great location, swimming pool was lovely. Had food on a couple of occasions at Casa do Larga which was excellent.

Patio furniture could do with updating.

The location, the studio style and the whole look of the village was excellent.

There weren't many electrical sockets. There was a bedside lamp but nowhere to plug it in. Some of the dishes and kitchen utensils were not clean. There were no shelves or racks in the oven, just the base of a grill tray, so cooking options were limited. There was only one tumbler-style glass. The rest were long stemmed wine glasses or large beer glasses.

Lovely ground floor studio apartment in a great location. Equipped with everything to make your stay a home from home experience with comfortable outdoor furniture provided and everything very clean.

Gostamos muito do aldeamento, o apartamento estava muito limpo quando chegamos e a pessoa que nos recebeu foi muito simpática e esclarecedora.

Park op zich is wel aardig. Waarschijnlijk in de zomer bruisend en gezellig, maar begin december kan je een kanon afschieten. Ik was de enige gast. Voordeel is wel dat het lekker rustig was. Dakterras had mooi uitzicht tot aan de oceaan!

Duidelijk de laatste gast van het seizoen. Studio was klam en vochtig. Niet warm te krijgen. Alles besloeg en kleding uit de kast voelde klam aan. Bad liep niet goed door, wel ontstopper erin gedaan, maar hielp niet veel. Servies was bij elkaar geraapt zooitje. 3 messen, 6 vorken en wat botte snijmessen. Restaurants en barretjes in het complex waren gesloten gedurende mijn verblijf.

The only thing was we were with a wedding party and depending on which accommodation you were in not everyone had access to the bigger pool areas

Sehr gute Lage in einer sehr schönen und gepflegten Anlage. Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken und Sonnenbaden.

Die Wohnung ist leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Vor allem die Küche mit Ausnahme der Waschmaschine.
