Der Kühlschrank war so laut , daß wir 3 Nächte wir nicht geschlafen haben. Das Appartment hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Alles sah abgefragt aus. Boden kaputt, sauber war es auch nicht.

Great location in a quiet bay with lots of on site activities including indoor swimming and game room.. clean Sandy beach and water activities are great for families with young kids. Close to town with lots of dining and shopping options. The cottages are clean and cozy with BBQ and a full kitchenette. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The beds were very comfortable and it was a lovely area. There were great facilities that were very kid friendly and an exquisite games room. The large variety of things to do made for a great stay.

There were lots of bugs around the property leading to many bites but it was mostly good otherwise.

The location of the property was great and calm away from all the traffic and chaotic life. The amenities were enjoyable and relaxing.

The cottage was clean, but the beds were not clean, found some eyelashes and hair from the previous visitor

Comfortable house, spacious, and well supplied. The man who towed our car out of the snow was very helpful. We really liked the pool, the skating, and the tubing hill. We stayed in the Hilltop House.

More seating in the living room. We had to bring in deck chairs. Better frying pans needed in the kitchen.

Prachtige locatie aan een van de vele meren. We maakten graag gebruik van de sauna en de jacuzzi bij het zwembad. Het huisje was erg knus en makkelijk in gebruik.

De badkamer was erg verouderd en de badkuip heel klein. Het gehele huisje was wat verouderd, maar dat past ook wel bij de omgeving.

Localisation exceptionnelle. Calme, visite des biches et des oies tous les jours. Nous avons adoré notre séjour au bord du lac. Tout l'extérieur est beau et bien organisé. Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Les équipements sont ultra complets (piscine, tennis, ...) et la présence d'une laverie avec lave linge / sèche linge est très appréciable. Huntsville et entrée du parc algonquin à 20mn...

Le chalet manque un peu d'entretien (joins de salle de bain détériorés, porte qui ont pris du jeu et ne ferment plus) mais rien de critique au regard de l'emplacement...

The amenities, beach, boating equipment, soccer field, outdoor sitting area, we felt so cozy and rested.

The cabins are a bit outdated and need a bit more care/updating.

Da die Luxushäuschen bereits ausgebucht waren, haben wir 4 Nächte in einem Standard-Cottage verbracht. Das Häuschen war gut ausgestattet und hatte eine gute Größe. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Direkt am See mit einem herrlichen Strand, vielen Liege- und Sitzmöglichkeiten und vielen Wassersportgeräten (Tretboote, Kanus, Standup-Paddles). Auch die sonstigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten waren toll (Pool, Whirlpool, Sauna, Billard, Tischfußball etc,). Bei der Rezeption gab es einen Raum mit Spielen, Büchern und Filmen, die man ausleihen konnte. Unser Blue-Ray-Player war defekt, wir bekamen aber sofort einen neuen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und teilweise spazieren Rehe zwischen den Cottages durch. Der nächste Laden, Bäcker und Restaurants war ca. 10 Fahrminuten entfernt, direkt vor Ort gibt es keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Es gibt viele Ausflugs- und Wandermöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Einzig das Badezimmer - insbesondere die Badewanne - in unserem Cottage war sehr renovierungsbedürftig. Ein Teil unserer Familie hat es vorgezogen, beim Pool zu duschen. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wär ein kleiner Laden vor Ort oder ein Brötchenservice zum Frühstück schön.

The location is fabulous. Everything is included when you get there, from gas for the bbq to the kayaks. The indoor pool and sauna are lovely. Would like to have spent longer.

Cottage very old and bbq was rusted and fell apart while we were there but they replaced with a newer one quickly Kitchen had musty/moldy smell and dirty brown water in the pots snd pans under the sink!! So I had to wash out everything but smell was there

Very nice place for families getaway, lot of activities

The location is fantastic, the watersports activities are great, beach is nice and quiet. Staff are friendly. Its a lovely resort. Love the wildlife.

The cabin accommodation seemed a bit tired, the bathroom tap was coming away from the wall. Just seemed expensive for the cabin.

Very clean cottage and grounds were immaculate. Games room was fun. Lake is beautiful.

The pool was iced cold and the hot tub was colder than most pools.

Such a pretty spot on Lake of Bays. Saw many deer and wildlife everywhere. Beach is stunning. Nice and close to Huntsville.

Water pressure in the rooms was very low. Lots of hot water but no pressure in sink or shower.

Nice cabins in front of the lake. Kayaks and paddle included in the price is a must.

Beautiful sandy beach with ample lawn chairs/loungers and canoes/paddle boards/etc. Nice expansive property which is well maintained.

The rental we booked through Booking.Com. The BBQ was rusted over on the inside. The indoor fireplace was full of soot. The bed was super soft. The place had a mildew odour.

The location was beautiful.Very peaceful,lots to do such as swimming,hot tub ,games room even though the weather didnt cooperate.Our cabin was cozy ,had everything we needed.The beds,even the sofa bed was comfortable.It was very clean and comfortable.We had many deer visitors and birds.

My only complaint was the pool was a little cool but didnt affect me swimming.The doors maybe from the difference in temperature had to be closed hard.

We liked The spacious cabin, good kitchen, fireplaces. Great pool, sauna and hot tub. Quiet, very scenic location. Great skating rink! Very helpful staff and one man made an after hours firewood drop off, and fixed a circuit breaker that had popped. We were delivered extra blankets which helped on the cold 2nd night. Located near lovely parks and skiing.

The heating system had just been repaired and the cabin was Cold our first night . The cabin has cold wind coming in around entrance doors. Some minor repairs need to be done. The fireplace damper downstairs didn’t work. Better frying pans needed in kitchen.

Really relaxing and quiet location, we had the Alodging cottage which was perfect for 4 people and despite not being the most modern cottage in very good condition, good choice of leisure equipment

Pricey for a weekend

It was a perfect stay. The property is away from the main roads and we were able to enjoy the tranquility of the nature. We stayed in #21 the traditional cottage, which was very clean, everything was new/renovated, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels and a fully equipped kitchen overlooking the lake. It is an ideal location to be able to experience the fall colors - lots of hiking trails nearby and it is amazing just to drive around the Lake of Bays. Algonquin park is a reasonable drive away too (30-50 min). The staff was very helpful. You get extra amenities such a great playground for kids, game room, pool with hot tub and sauna. The firepit is great for socializing and mush mellows by the water. Thank you very much for a wonderful getaway!

Soiled Cushions

We had been here in summer and came back in fall, the cottage is very clean and spacious, very beautiful view in this season. The location is convenient, close to town and park, good facilities, nice staff. Definitely will be back again.

The mattress is comfortable but has noise, needs updating.

Everything, The cottages are located with plenty of privacy in a fully wooded area and very close to the private sandy beach, where you can enjoy various water sports.

When we got there the cabins were out dated and dirty I asked for the other cabins to stay in that we saw in the pictures and they were beautiful. We were able to enjoy that for two nights and then we were moved back into the awful cabins the difference is astonishing in the nice cabins everything is nice and clean nice dishes etc in the other cabin they moved us to everything was old and outdated and the mattress had springs sticking out so bad we couldn’t even stay our last night

Don’t know about other houses, everything was in the house. But seatings in and outside for 3 persons but paid for 4. We kept our shoes on , really not clean, bathrooms old dust . Outside chairs needed big cleaning before we could use it

Peaceful scenic location with lots of family fun to be had

Beautiful area, lot of possibilities you can do with kids. We had lots of fun.

The sticky table and dining area and that we found a trouser from previous visitors under the bed wasn’t really nice.

Great place to go for a weekend with friends or family

Our stay was short but we enjoyed walking the property, the community fire pit (met some very nice people) and used the pool facilities. Highly recommend this place, especially with kids as there are other facilities that are kid-centric that we did not use.

Very clean and well appointed. The kitchen appliances and stocked items were excellent. Love the outside deck and the sunroom was a really nice addition. 😊

No windows in my bedroom downstairs. Found it a little claustrophobic…but that’s my problem, isn’t it?? Lol

We stayed in unit 106. It had a nice view over the property and to the lake. The house was impeccably clean and my kids loved all the stuff they could do there - tubing hill, pool, games room. It was well located to Huntsville and Algonquin park.

The only things I didn’t really love were that the house had a slightly bad smell, the floor of the pool change rooms was a little gross and there was some note in the house saying we would be charged extra money if we didn’t take out our garbage. None of these are deal breakers and I’d happily go back, but considering the price you pay per night these were things I would expect to be better/covered.

Size and layout of The Hilltop was great. very clean and warm. 2 Beds not comfortable-we rolled into the middle. Lovely pool saunaandhottub. Good gameroom. Lots of dining and kitchen space, and rooms for activities. Great fireplace and wood supply.

More cooking equipment, a second rack in oven. DVD player didn’t work well and controller needed batteries.

The only thing open was the indoor pool and sauna. The game room was okay-ish.

First of all there were two ladies at the main office. One of them with short hair was not at all welcoming and kind of seemed rude. The other lady was good. The cottage was very poor from inside. The shower head was broken and wasn't working properly, the door was also not in good condition. BBQ was rusty and not clean The AC was loud None of the remotes were working and had to get new batteries, the tv was pretty old and barely working. The dvd player was not working and got it replaced (thank you). Over all the price we paid was just for the cottage as most of the activities were closed (skating rink, tube hill, outdoor pool). And that was not worth it. The cottage was not worth $400 per night!!
