La camera tulipano è sotto il livello della strada, un po’ umida, avrebbe bisogno di una bella rinfrescata e una pulizia profonda, e possibilmente di un tavolino e una sedia, capisco che è un ostello però è molto spartano, le tende alle finestre non offrono la privacy necessaria (si vede da fuori quello che succede in camera). I lettini erano puliti però.

A qualidade da cama e a roupa de cama.

Quarto muito pequeno, não tem nem uma cadeira ou mesa.Falta de conforto total.O jardim mostrado na foto não existe, é só mato ,e só tem uma copa com mesa , bancos e 2 poltronas.Não tem sofá , TV, jogos ou espaço para relaxar.

Received multiple scam messages via WhatsApp redirecting to a phishing website that looked very similar to the Booking.com website. It asked for credit card details and this scam website even showed my full name and the exact price I paid, so it almost felt like an inside job. BE CAUTIOUS!

The location is good. Cruci, the only staff member we met when we arrived was very helpful finding a place we could storage our main luggage so that we didn’t have to haul our big bags up the winding narrow stairs. When our luggage was unattainable, and I called their emergency number, Sebastian responded as quickly as he could to the call, arriving and being able to retrieve our luggage and help us get it up the lower staircase to the front door. He was excellent and apologised for the other problem we’d experienced with the toilet seat which was loose and twisted. He thanked me for letting him know and was ready to have it removed/fixed today. The people of Amsterdam are so kind and helpful and we probably made a mistake booking this place, not realising it was a hostel better suited for young, intrepid travellers, able to sprint up & down multiple levels of winding stairs. It was an expensive mistake.

Specific features: No elevator, very narrow access to stairs, around the bed, squashed basin/toilet in the bathroom, hideous reminder of Donald Trump and his current wife in a painting (probably a satire, maybe a salute to the USA President, but not a welcome addition for us!) It was the first thing we saw when we woke up each more and hard to forget!

Direi che mi è piaciuto il cortile interno dove c’erano delle panche per rilassarsi e un po’ di verde. La possibilità di lasciare il bagaglio prima e dopo il check in.

La stanza era sotto il livello della strada e le finestre davano proprio sul marciapiede, il che ha reso la nostra permanenza poco rilassante poiché la sensazione era quella che la gente ci vedesse e potesse buttarci dentro la stanza qualunque cosa. Inoltre c’erano ragnatele e ragni ovunque, pulizia da rivedere.

Sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella. Verhot sängyissä toivat mukavasti yksityisyyttä. Kirjautuminen sisään ja ulos oli sujuvaa. Uloskirjautumisen jälkeen oli mahdollista jättää matkatavarat säilytykseen. Sängyt olivat mukavat.

Suihkussa käydessä koko kylpyhuoneen lattia kastui ja suihkussa ei ollut kuivauslastaa. Tilat olivat perusteellisemman siivouksen tarpeessa ja sängyssämme verhot repsottivat.

в зоне отдыха плохой свет, зона отдыха на улице (дворик) в запущеном состоянии, кровати в номере расположены слишком близко что затрудняет движение, розеток возле кроватей нет, нет шторок на кроватях свет мешает другим, кровати шатаются и ужасно скрипят при любом шивелении соседа сверху или сбоку. Номер на шестерых не предназначен для шести особ, сумки и вещи гостей загромодили узкие проходы. крючки на стенах для верхней одежды отсутствуют, общее состояние номера выглядит удручающе.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, they were always happy help.and answer any questions I had. The accommodation was great, comfy beds, cleaned regularly, a kitchen and dining area as well as luggage storage. Easily accessible and a short walk to the centre. Would highly recommend!

Das Zimmer wirkt etwas heruntergekommen. Kleiderhacken die aus der Wand hängen und nicht genutzt werden können, kaputte Mülleimer, Handyladestationene die an der Wand herunterhängen, Vorhänge die nicht geschlossen werden können, da sie kaputt sind und eine dreckige Küche, die nicht wirklich zum kochen einlädt.

La ubicación es fantástica, muy bien comunicada, con todo lo necesario cerca y muy tranquilo La cocina también muy práctica y equipada.

Las camas son horribles, el colchón estaba totalmente deformado y sonaba continuamente. La habitación era enana y sin armario por lo que faltaba mucho sitio.

The location was not bad.

The fire alarm went off at night. When it first happened at 4 AM, we were terrified and tried to go down. My boyfriend fell down, hit his head on the stairs, and started bleeding. There was absolutely no staff or responsible person on the property at the time. When someone finally arrived, instead of checking on my boyfriend or offering medical assistance, he simply showed me how to turn the alarm off if it happened again. They did not care about our well-being at all. The next day, we just received a generic "sorry" email and nothing else. No one ever asked how we were doing, even though they knew exactly how bad the situation was because there was blood on the stairs and the floor. To make matters worse, the alarm went off again the next morning at 8 AM. It felt like a bad joke. Furthermore, we have stayed in the Netherlands many times before, so we are well aware that Dutch rooms are typically small and the stairs are steep and narrow. However, this room was unacceptably small, lacked proper cleanliness, and had a terrible, persistent smell coming out of the bathroom. The complete lack of empathy, basic safety, and customer care was shocking.

Not clean at all. We see lots of hair at bed. Floor was sticky in the room. Shower works with button. Once you press waters come hot when you press second time shocking cold water. The guy told me before coming it is in the heart of Amsterdam, i totally disagree.

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de una plaza, del Vondelpark (12 cuadras aprox) y muy cerca de la estación del metro. En general hay buena onda en el Hostel y los espacios comunes son cómodos. Tiene un lindo patio para salir a fumar o comer o tomar un café.

Antonio. El recepcionista que nos tocó tenía toda la mala onda del mundo. Por un error de la aplicación nos tomó 2 veces la misma reserva. Nos recibió con mal humor, diciéndonos que la “macana” era nuestra, que los dueños no nos iban a anular la doble reserva. Finalmente hicimos el reclamo y anularon la reserva duplicada. Los otros dos recepcionistas (la chica española y el chico de pelo largo) fueron muy hospitalarios y simpáticos y atentos a ayudar y resolver cuestiones.

Prezzo altissimo per essere un ostello. Avevamo una stanza privata con bagno ma la pulizia è stata scarsa. Avevamo insetti in camera. La doccia era rotta e il lavandino intasato. Mi poteva anche stare bene, ma per aver speso più di 300 euro a notte mi aspettavo almeno la garanzia dei servizi di base.

We liked the location as it was very close to De Pijp where we went out for dinner and drinks. The beds were very comfy and we slept extremely well. The kitchen and communal areas are well equipped, so that we had breakfast there instead of going out. We liked that you don’t get keys but are able to enter via door code. And there’s a cat!

The price was very steep for what it actually was. The room was rather small and located in the basement. But that’s what supply and demand does when it’s a very popular weekend. I would not have paid that much if I hadn’t been that desparate to find a fitting accomodation.

The atmosphere, the kitchen, the staff, namely Gonzague - a very special person from France. Cozy, conscious, friendly, calm. Exactly what a conscious being needs for a base.

Were the weekends really booked eight months in advance? 😅 or is there a catch?

Chambre très petite et literie peu confortable. Le logement est mal insonorisé, aussi bien vis-à-vis des nuisances extérieures que des bruits à l’intérieur de l’immeuble. Une odeur d’œuf pourri était présente dans la salle de bain, probablement liée à l’humidité. Une machine à café était mise à disposition avec seulement 4 capsules (1 café et 3 lait pour cappuccino), ce qui ne permettait même pas de préparer deux cafés. De plus, une capsule usagée était encore présente dans la machine à notre arrivée. Ce sont pourtant des détails simples à vérifier avant l’accueil des voyageurs. Je suis allée dans l’espace commun (cuisine), mais aucune capsule supplémentaire n’était disponible et aucun responsable n’était présent sur place. J’ai également remarqué quelques cheveux sous la couette. En résumé, l’expérience n’a pas été satisfaisante et je ne recommanderais pas cet établissement.

COnvenient Location for sure - In full honesty: looking at the general Pricing of Hotels in that area it can be considered as a fair deal but I really wouldn't reccomend it to a friend - the staff communication and availability was all in all quite good.

booking.com site gives the client or portrays an accomodation situation leading one to believe as if it is a Hotel rather than an actual 'buffed' and over pretentious Hostel situation - i.e. it mentions 'Breakfast Included' whereas it has a practically private kitchen for one to utilize to cook their own meals - also , the Booking site gives you the option to take the Room in the late morning hours .. but then you learn that the Rooms are only available strting from 16:00 - Room very small and the 2x1mt size Bathroom ..; had to sit slanted on the toilet as it is placed so close to teh tiny sink (i'm not a big person - average size adult).

Chambre Tulips (2 lits simples à l’entresol) peu confortable , humide et avons eu le désagrément d’avoir des chenilles dans le lit, sous le lit …matin et soir . Avons pu changer de chambre que la dernière nuit car l’auberge était pleine .

A localização é ótima, tem banheiro com secador nos quartos, a cozinha é bem equipada e tem frutas disponíveis para os hóspedes. Limpeza ok. Tem uma gata fofinha passeando por lá também, achei maravilhoso.

Poderia ter pelo menos um quarto só para mulheres, me sentiria muito mais à vontade e segura.

Everyone on staff was really helpful and nice!! My room was really comfortable. I wish I could have stayed a few more nights. Close to easy transportation into Central Amsterdam.

My room was on the warm side but the staff found a fan for me. The bathroom and shower rooms needed a little attention as the paper towels or often empty in the trash full.

the room was so small that only the bed fit, you could. it sit i. the toilet because the sink hung over it, and the water pressure was so bad you could not rinse your hair. definitely not worth the price.
