Canary Wharf - Luxury Apartments

Top Lage, und Grösse der Wohnung sehr gut.

Schlechte bzw. gar keine Kommunikation des Vermieters. Habe mich mehrfach gemeldet mit unserer Anreisezeit und es wurde mir bestätigt. Dann tauchte aber niemand auf. Wir warteten in einem Restaurant wo jemand den Vermieter für uns anrief. Als er dann kam, meinte er er hat uns mehrfach kontaktiert, was nicht der Fall war. Leider sehr unfreundlich erster Eindruck. Haben dann am nächsten Tag nach einem neuen Schlüssel gefragt da es nicht richtig funktionierte. Es wurde eine Zeit für Schlüsselübergabe vereinbart, doch wieder niemand tauchte auf, bis ich angerufen habe.

Clean, modern, well located, met and shown round by a very pleasant man. Great communication building up to the stay.

Sofa bed was uncomfortable if needed by an extra guest. Would not sleep 6. But worked fine for us as a family of 4.

L'appartement est spacieux et la vue superbe. Quartier tranquille. Distance au premier métro correcte. La personne qui nous a reçu était très aimable et les hôtes sont très réactifs en général.

Il fait chaud dans l’appartement, nous avons dû dormir fenêtres ouvertes. Quelques meubles étaient abîmés, batterie de cuisine à disposition sommaire. Être vigilant car le prix sur le site ne comprend pas certains extras qui sont facturés en plus (le canapé-lit, l’arrivée au-delà de 18h00, laisser les bagages au besoin).

Modern large apartment with 2 bed rooms and 2 separate bath rooms including big kitchen well equipped and side view to the canals. The host was always very helpful and so kind all time to arrange smooth arrival.

Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern verlief sowohl über WhatsApp als auch per E-Mail absolut reibungslos und unkompliziert. Direkt nach der Schlüsselübergabe wurden wir freundlich in Empfang genommen und erhielten eine ausführliche Führung durch das Apartment, was für eine sehr angenehme Kommunikation und einen tollen Start sorgte.

Für meinen Sohn und mich war soweit alles okay, auch wenn der Zugang zu den Apartments mit den zwei Aufzügen erst einmal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig war. Das Konzept im Eingangsbereich hat mich jedoch geärgert, da mein Autoschlüssel schon zweimal kurz weg war und ich deshalb nicht in die Wohnung gekommen bin, aber das sind nur kleine Sorgen.

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was beautiful, spacious, clean and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The location was fantastic, with lovely views and easy access to Canary Wharf and the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again

There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Everything was perfect for our stay.

These are one of the most spacious rooms I’ve ever rented with extra large comfy beds. I never leave reviews, but this property and the peace I was given from the staff is worthy of mention.

Very well located for our needs. Trains and Ubers all easy to get at short notice. The apartment was very clean and equipped well for our needs. Surprisingly quiet which was great. The landlord was very accommodating which made things work well for us.

Nothing really. The building was quite warm but the coolers provided helped take the edge off of it. It’s been a hot summer.

The Area Canary Wharf.

There was no proper airflow or ventilation in the apartment, and the indoor temperature was at least 5°C higher than outside. To make matters worse, the property manager was extremely manipulative in handling the situation.

Location, service from property manager, it was well equipped. Great size and really comfortable bed.

The only small change is it would benefit from a deep clean, dishwasher, sofa cushions being freshened etc.

Lovely spacious flat with all the necessary facilities. Very clean and hosts were great. WiFi is provided and air con units in main living area and bedrooms. Shower in en suite room was really good.

Not really anything negative to mention. The flat was very warm even with air con units working but there isn't much else that can be done about the hot weather.

Spacious apartment for myself travelling alone. Facilities were good everything you need. Very comfortable bed and quiet area for the most part, very close to DLR and 15 mins walk to Canary Wharf station.

Noise which can be heard from in the kitchen constantly 24/7 not sure if it’s something from the boiler cupboard etc but that was the only thing I would say.

The location is ideal for being so close to Canary Wharf and all the entertainment, pubs and restaurants around that area. We also used it to visit ABBA Voyage which is only a short DLR journey away from the apartment.

The apartment was ideal and had everything available for a short stay. Not meaning to be negative but the decor and some of the bathroom fittings are becoming tired.

Host was friendly. Lovely environment. Accommodation had all hygiene essentials provided Good location closer to shops and public transport. No need for Uber

The apartment was extremely hot, making it difficult to stay indoors during the daytime. I understand that the weather and temperature were not the host’s fault; however, we requested additional ice packs for the air-conditioning machine. The host said she would check, but unfortunately, we did not receive any further response. We also found the images of the building on Booking.com misleading, as my family expected the apartment to be located in the building shown in the listing.

The host was very friendly and replied quickly to questions via WhatsApp in a professional manner. Facilities in the apartment were very good, such as the kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, washing machine, iron + ironing board. The location was nice and there's a nice partial waterfront view from the living room and the tiny balcony. A Tesco Express is just around the corner.

The apartment was very hot and there was no proper air conditioning. Cleanliness could have been on a slightly higher level; e.g. the floor underneath the bed was very dusty and the couch would benefit from a deep cleaning. Many places in the apartment showed a lot of wear and tear, which is why "luxury" seemed to us like a somewhat excessive epithet in the name of the accommodation.

Wir wurden super pünktlich und nett empfangen. Die Lage ist perfekt für einen Londonbesuch. Haltestelle, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe. In der Küche ist alles an Geschirr für ein schönes Frühstück vorhanden.

Das Gebäude ist schlecht belüftet. Es riecht permanent im Flur. Es ist sehr warm sowohl in den Gängen als auch in der Wohnung. Leider muss man auch mit kleinen Mängeln im Bad leben. Trotzdem würden wir wieder kommen. Insgesamt ist der Aufenthalt doch angenehm gewesen.

Excellent location (5 mins walk to South Quay DLR) communicative and helpful host. Flat was pretty spacious with a nice balcony. We spent limited time in the flat but it had everything we needed. Be aware there is an extra charge if you need to use the sofa bed as a 3rd bed, even if you are booking for 3 adults.

The location was great for us, close to a shop and subway station. Room and price were decent too. Good communication with staff.

Didn't have any form of shower gel to wash with, but all other toiletries were fine. Despite having 2 fans and windows open the room was really hot. Lastly we had the last occupants swept up dirt just left behind the door and food splatter on the walls.

The apartment is located in beautiful Canary Wharf, which feels calm and peaceful and very safe. South Quay DLR station is a 5 minute walk away, which was very handy for getting around the city. There’s a Tesco Express close by and a few restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked with all the equipment you could need, including a Tassimo coffee machine (you need to take your own pods). We didn’t hear any noise from neighbours and the bed was a kingsize and comfortable. We had a brilliant weekend and were glad we stayed there.

The whole apartment block and the apartment itself was very hot all the time. Obviously that can’t be helped, and there’s a tower fan and a pedestal fan provided, which proved invaluable on such a hot weekend. The sofa wasn’t the comfiest, but was sufficient. I wouldn’t personally call the apartment “luxury”, I think that tag is more to do with the area and the building itself than the actual apartment, which showed some signs of wear and tear. It’s a nice apartment but I think referring to it as luxury sets an expectation it doesn’t necessarily meet. However I would stay there again and for the price it was great for what we needed.

We enjoyed the stay here, the appartment is well equipped place, close to the DLR and CBD area.

Nothing major to dislike, Cleanliness can improve, especially the kitchen floor. The bed is kind of warping, looks like springs weakened.

Location was great with being so close to the Milwall Dock. Easy to get into central London. Great to be near Greenwich. Staff were approachable and willing to help. Some nice restaurants nearby.

The apartment was a little tired. It needs a fresh coat of paint and the third bed was not comfortable. Unfortunately we were there in a heatwave and the portable cooling really struggled. But the balcony caught some breeze, but the outdoor furniture was a bit small and flimsy

balcony not usable. booked specifically for balcony use. too small. only 2 tiny ridiculous chairs no room for table to put drinks and had to sit one in front of the other. completely spoilt the holiday. heatwave and couldnt sit out. sofa bed kept seperating was during heat wave and couldnt open the window, no key. too overlooked to keep patio door open at night. ⁹

The curtains in the bedroom were dirty with food or something splashed up them. The were ripped and terrible condition. Under the bed and behind the bed was filthy with dust and wrappers. The pillows were smelly and the sheets were in tatty condition. The ventilation in the corridor was horrific. The ceiling in the corridor caved in , fell onto the floor and was leaking water one night. Although we made the most of it it was certainly not "luxury" as described. Could certainly do with a relook at furnishings and linen.

Staff - 10; found host very informative and explained all we needed to know, met at the agreed time. Cleanliness - 10; can’t fault the place. Facilities -10; all you need, however would be nice to have a few coffee sachets provided, the cooling fan was a welcome addition. Comfort -10; basic and meets the requirements for a short stay. Location - 10; ideal if working in Canary Wharf, as a tourist it’s a bit off the beaten track, albeit close to the tube. Value for money -10; very good value for money. Bed rating - 10; comfy nights sleep, very quite area, little to no noise outside or within. Wi-Fi -10; excellent Room view - 3; it’s a functional flat, there are no views other than other flats! Food; recommend the Greek bar restaurant excellent value for money, food is great and only a few minutes walk, the Italian restaurant (Capeesh) is at best mediocre. Lots of street food places, carry outs and a Tesco Express close by.

Can’t say there are any negative points, easy to get to and relatively close to tube line

La manutenzione del palazzo

Die Lage Ruhige Straße, für Londoner Verhältnisse. Großes Appartementhaus, Wohnung im 9. Stock. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet Kontakt zur Vermieterin problemlos. Fragen wurden in kürzester Zeit beantwortet. Bei einem kleinen Problem mit dem Kühlschrank wurde innerhalb einer halben Stunde der Service geschickt.

Leider gab es im Bad keine Steckdose für den Fön. Im Hauptschlafzimmer wäre zumindest ein Spiegel hilfreich, wenn man sich die Haare fönen möchte. Das war ein bisschen nervig Nicht gefallen hat mir die Hitze, die in dem Gebäude herrschte, vor allem im Flur und im Aufzug. Im Aufzug war die Wärme sehr beklemmend und man war immer erleichtert, wenn sich die Aufzugtür öffnete. In der Wohnung war es auch sehr warm, aber durch das Klimagerät und entsprechendes Lüften konnte man es gut aushalten.

The apartments was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen equipment was almost brand new and there was only minimal mold on the bathroom grouting.

Even though the apartment was advertised as having a sofabed, we were charged an additional 60 GBP per night to use it even though there were still only two guests. Not only did this make the apartment very poor value for money, it is deceptive because one would usually assume that the sofabed could be used for the advertised rate. They should at least indicate that there would be additional charges to use the sofabed.

The apartment was equipped with everything that might be needed incl. tee, coffee, dishwasher tabs, detergents.... a big thank you to Rita, I truly appreciated it!
