The room was very nice and comfortable, within easy reach of the town centre.

The location was excellent, right on the esplanade. The house was very clean and the bedroom a good size with good storage.

The bathroom was tiny and the shower head needed descaling. The toilet seat was loose. Although wifi was available, it did not work. We did not see any staff at all during our 3 night stay.

Parking was a bit challenging. Individuals were double parked and parking was difficult. I wasn’t comfortable leaving keys accessible to facility in my room, which was the provided recommendation. Perhaps a better managed solution?

Although we had a room in the back without a view, we spent a good amount of time in the common area right in front of the picture window with a fantastic view.

Shower was a bit tight.

We got a spacious room, it was actually a suite with an outside sitting room that had a fireplace and a seperate bedroom. We arrived later in the evening, after dinner, and a key was left for us to get into the room. We never met any staff. Luckily, there was another guest in the small "lobby" area at the base of the stairs that let us know where the keys were kept in envelopes. Instant oatmeal and some biscuits and tea were in the room for a light breakfast. There was parking available and we got the last spot. There was street parking available close by. I also liked that there was liquid handsoap available.

Everything was fine, it was a good value for the price we paid, but not a high end or luxery stay. It was just what we needed, a nice place to sleep with a place to park our car. The shower was on the small side but not unusual for Europe.

We had a lovely stay and our room was lovely. Clean and comfortable. Hubby booked a sea view which I would recommend to anyone. The weather was very kind to us. We loved everything there. We will be back . Thank you

Did think the bathroom was on the small size. Only putting this as asked. But in all honesty it was adequate.

Property is sea facing with parking spot and centrally located. Well kept clean property. There was fan, fridge and kettle provided. A good host.

Excellent location, comfortable room with amazing Seaview. Owners communicated in advance about check-in and other matters effectively to ensure our stay went smoothly. Definitely will recommend to friends and family and will return for longer stay in near future

We had a lovely stay at the Corriemar House. It was comfortable, well-lit, cozy accommodations. The walk into the city centre is short and along the waterfront. We felt that it was located very close to everything that we needed and enjoyed a delicious dinner at the nearby Porcini. It was a wonderful way to visit Oban!

It would have been nice to have some herbal tea options. We had some cold stormy weather, and some herbal tea would have been good.

The rooms were very clean,lovely and modern and the bed was very comfortable. We had a little extra room almost like a mini sitting room which was a pleasant surprise to be able to sit and relax there. We met the owner and she was very helpful and friendly. Close to centre of Oban and a lovely view.

I think the property is well maintained and clean everyone we spoke to were really nice. I would stay there anytime I was in Oban .

Lovely period house with a beautifully decorated interior.

Although we didn’t get a room with a view, the house is right on the waterfront and has a lovely communal lounge with a view. The room had everything we needed, was quiet and very easy to access. Really appreciated having a fridge and some breakfast oats.

Although there is parking right outside the property it is quite narrow and tightly packed, so took a bit of manoeuvring to get into.

There was no one there to greet us. There was a lady sitting outside but unaware if she was the owner, caretaker or a guest. Keys were left in an envelope and a dish to put them in when you left. Do people not communicate with their guests anymore! If I was receiving money from people I would greet them and let them know I appreciated their business!!

Very well furnished room and communal area, spotlessly clean. The room key was waiting for us in the reception area as staff were not present but they were easily contactable if required. The guest house is room only but we found plenty of good cafés in town.

The location. The fact that in bad weather but also during the day a very comfortable, sunny, day room was available for guests to use. A very welcome perk.

I loved this place and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to others.

Keys were waiting for our arrival. There was a lot of lovely nice wee touches a fridge in the room, a bottle of water waiting for you ice in the shared sitting room sweeties left in a dish and a tub of porridge to see you start your morning. It is spotlessly clean, a great location, and great communication with the owners. I would highly recommend staying here. I would definitely go back!!

Corriemar house is in excellent location. Close enough to walk in to town and also very quiet overlooking the sea and close to a nice wooded walk. The bedroom was small but perfect for our needs. There’s a lovely sitting room with Dea views.

Lovely location on Oban’s waterfront, we were upgraded to a large front room with a sea view, large comfortable bed, armchairs, even a sofa, tea and coffee, an attractive room. We appreciated the on-site parking, and the easy stroll into the centre of Oban past the harbour. We will return to Corriemar House on our next trip to the Outer Hebrides (which are fantastic!)

We loved this property. It was easy to find, and the large sign made it even more convenient to locate. When we arrived, the small parking lot at the house was full, but after 6:00 PM, free street parking was available right in front of the property. The next morning, several cars had left the house parking lot, so we were able to move our vehicle there without any major issues. The entrance and lobby are beautiful, featuring amazing décor and a very welcoming atmosphere. We stayed in one of the rooms on the main floor. While it wasn't particularly large, it provided enough space for both my partner and me. The bathroom was a good size and exceptionally clean. The house is within walking distance of downtown, making the location perfect if you prefer not to drive. There are numerous restaurants and bars nearby, as well as a trail on the opposite side of downtown. I would definitely recommend this property.

What's not to love? Minutes away from the centre and the ferry terminal, spotless, fab location, seating at the front facing the bay. Friendly staff, especially the owners Mum who is a delight.

Location; Short walk into the town and ferry terminal. Response from staff to our questions was very good (but see comments below). Comfortable and quiet.

Parking was described as “on site” but there are only essentially four spaces for 17 rooms. If you can’t get a space then you have to park on the street which is hourly parking. The Wifi connection was terrible in our room. Finally, it’s nice to “see a face” but check in is self serve as is check out. You can really only talk to someone through message or telephone which is not always quick or easy

Beds were comfortable. The sitting area in the room overlooking the water with a tea and coffee setup was nice. We got stuck in a major accident adding 4 hours to our arrival time and they were flexible. It’s in a great location to enjoy Oban but not be directly in the heart of town.

There were no present staff at all. This was different and the site wasn’t labeled self-catering. We didn’t understand the double parking of cars and it was challenging to not block in others who may need to leave early on their journey. We made it work but having staff to ask questions or manage the situation would have been nice. The bathroom had a shower that didn’t drain and the shower head would t stay up so my husband found showering challenging at 6’. Also the bathroom had spider webs on the face towel storage so we did worry about the general cleanliness procedures taken. There’s no breakfast but you get a pot of instant porridge if you choose.

We will 100% return here. Exceptional for the money

The room had fantastic sea views. When we had a problem with the TV the host came out quickly to sort it out. Tea/coffee and biscuits were replenished every day which was a nice thought.

It would have been nice to have had a manned reception and provision of breakfast.

Beautiful property with well appointed rooms. Nicely decorated. It was difficult to get in touch with any concerning a problem with one reservation. Overall we loved it.

Unfortunately since it is an old building there are no electrical outlets in the bathroom. However, so far we have stayed in three older places and the same is true of them. Apparently it must be too difficult to run power to bathrooms in Scotland

The bed was super comfortable. Room very clean and plenty of space. All appliances worked well and the coffee/ tea station was replenished each day. View was as described. Plenty storage space and towels were perfectly fluffy and clean. 3 sizes each and a bath matt for stepping out of the shower. Water was piping hot. Very quiet location and very close to the town centre as described. A lovely, old Victorian decor throughout which we liked very much. Had a lot of character.

We didn't see any staff at all, the whole stay and had to figure everything out for ourselves. The shower was a little weak. No water pressure. The toiletries were very limited and had been already used. We could find no information on the wifi code.
