Location is perfect as mall is located next door. Pool area was nice and peaceful.

Sedikit kecewa dengan personil security di gate jaga, tidak mengarahkan kendaraan pada saat masuk menuju lobby sehingga salah arah. Dan sempat adu argumentasi dengan security. Saya cek in tanggal 20 hari jumat. Menginap 3 malam. Saran : perlu pelatihan service excellent bagi personil security.

I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Pekanbaru. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. Jeje provided outstanding service, and Rani from the restaurant impressed me with her warm hospitality and for remembering my previous visit. Fina at the Front Office was also very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and I would also like to extend my appreciation to the Housekeeping, F&B, and Front Office teams for their great work. Thank you to Mr. Rudy, the Executive Assistant Manager, and Mr. Sentot, the General Manager—you both did a great job in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. I truly enjoyed my stay at Novotel Pekanbaru and look forward to returning again.

Eco green doesnt mean you Reduce your fasilities to the guest in the room

our stay was wonderful! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was beautiful and well-priced. The breakfast was excellent and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visit the city

This is our first time stayed in this hotel. There was a mall next to the hotel. Breakfast was nice. The Bed was comfortable. We never had experience refill our water before. I think this hotel try to be enviromental friendly. The staff was fiendly.

They could not arrange airport pick up as the hotel car was not available but did not suggest an alternate solution. Same when I requested a driver for a day trip speaking English. As a foreigner it would have been helpful to suggest me alternative solutions Breakfast could be improved

I recently stayed at Novotel Pekanbaru and it was an excellent experience. The room was clean, the staff very helpfuly and attentive. Overall my stay is good and I would consider staying here again.

Absolutely loved my stay at Novotel Pekanbaru. The room modern and clean , the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel location was ideal near from mall, we can walk to go there. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.

We loved the pool and the breakfast buffet at this hotel, the pool was a great way to relax after a long day and the hotel location was ideal, near from shoping mall. This hotel was lovely but in a run down area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very big bed and very comfortable. The restaurant food was very nice but not al a carte and they didn;t have a the first 3 things on the menu that I ordered. Excellent supply of toiletries, but no hair/hand towel. Tea and coffe facilities good. There is a lounge downstairs to get snacks. wine and have a cigarette.

The area around the hoel was run down. Walking outside was very tricky as the pavements were dangerous or non existant. Many holes in them. A lot of rubbish just piled up The balcony roof leaked and was not very private as everyone else on our floor could walk past and look into our room, due to the balcnies being linked.

Hotel is not well maintained. Lift breakdown frequently. Pillow covers n bedsheets are discoloured and should be replaced.

I have stayed at Novotel Pekanbaru for a few day. This was on the top of the list of best experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff. I love everything about this hotel, room,food, pool area. I will recommend others for sure. Thank you novotel and I will be back.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was clean and spacious, we stayed on the 15th floor and had a good view of the city. Breakfast variety is satisfactory. The hotel is right beside a mall and many eateries so location is very good. I would stay here again.

My booking is Non smoking room but when I arrive the non smoking as full and been arrange the smoking room for me. The smoking smell at the room and level 8 is making me uncomfortable.

During booking..requested NON SMOKING room but was given smoking room. Was assured by Front Desk..room was sanitize 3X but cigarettes smells still lingers.

We found this a great place to stay in Pekanbaru. The hotel is modern, clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. Good food court not far away.

This is a well priced international hotel, with an excellent buffet breakfast. It is well located being central to many locations and is next to a shopping mall which allows guests to access groceries, restaurants, clothing and giftware. The hotel staff are helpful and will arrange things such as taxis for you on request.

I was given 2 keycards even though i am a solo traveller. The room was big and spacious. As i brought 2 luggages and it takes up some space but i still have so much space to move around in the room. My room was cleaned every day and they refill my water jug each time they cleaned the room. I also love the variety of food at the breakfast buffet.

I have to press and hold in order to use the hair dryer, but i understand that it is for saving electricity.

The room was big and modern. We had everything we needed in terms of kettle, safe etc. The restaurant on-site was good, though expensive, and the staff were all very friendly. Our kids loved the swimming pool!

The bathroom could have been cleaner - there was a fly infestation in the shower. Also, the hotel made a strange choice in their sofa bed, it wasn’t very comfortable and meant the kids didn’t sleep well. I can’t recommend the sofa bed to anyone unfortunately… Also, while I really appreciated all the nods to environmentalism, the hotel left lights burning on the 7th Floor event space all night… which undercuts their policies.

The location was really good . Esay to go anywhere. Ciputra Mall next to the hotel makes it easy to get anything . Never forget the warmest and helpfull smiling staff .. feeling great 😃

Someone called Hendri Saputra hacked my booking account and made a reservation with my CC and I sent to the hotel and informed them. Despite that the person was in their premises and they are aware of the case they did absoulty nothing since all they care about that the money is settled and did not refund my money. Shame on Novotel

Service seems to be a bit slow and inefficient. Had requested for connecting rooms and it didn’t really work out as per request. Basic room amenities were upon request and no longer given complimentary water in water bottles but in a flask/glass instead in the rooms. Feels like there is a lot of cost cutting and yet the room rates have gone up.

During my Jun visit I need to argue hard just to get on time check in at 2pm On my next visit, Aug 1st, I got rook 701 near ballroom that was noisy until 12 midnight. Since the elevator was switch off all guests from ballroom passing by the corridor in front of my room while talking noisily. I called 1am asking to have securiry to guard the corridor but none coming and still noisy until 2am. Day later I rent 3 rooms and none was ready at check in time until I argued with duty manager to vet the key only at 3pm. My5th day was equally awful as one of room 1205 was broken SDB, door and phone. The worse thinf is that one of officer from pantry refuse to help me contacting with the office and he said that this is not his part. You can judge from my experience.

location is great - right next door to Mal Ciputra so very convenient for the supermarket, restaurants, cafes and even cinema. good for a short stay in PKU but gets very busy esp over weekends.

check-in could have been more efficient. preferred to have bottled water instead of water being topped up in a glass flask. that feels like hotel is trying to scrimp and save on what used to be standard amenities before covid.

Hospitality of the staffs, location.

Smoking room still has unpleasant residue of the cigarettes (the air condition isnt that well). Eyes are red after sometime in the room, air still feels like there is smoke in the room. No shower cap, toiletries are very limited (not that complete).

Love the cleanliness and variety of breakfast buffet!

It was a great stay so there is nothing that I dislike about Novotel!
