特にないですが、お風呂室の水垢が感じられます。

Breakfast was fine but limited choices

暑い中、到着してすぐのウェルカムティーがありがたかったです。 朝食も美味しかったです。 細かい装飾が可愛らしくて楽しかったです。

部屋の冷蔵庫の線が入ってなかったんですが、元々入っていないなら、教えていただきたかったですし、外れていたのであれば清掃時に入れてもらいたかったです。

イギリスのこコッツウォルズのB&Bを想起させる様な 家庭的で居心地の良い空間でした。 食堂から見える庭は美しく館内の装飾には随所にオーナーの美意識が感じられました。 掃除が行き届きどこも清潔。浴室がバスタブと洗い場に分かれているのは大変良かったです。1日歩き回った後に風呂に浸かるのは疲労回復にも良かったです。

他の宿泊者がドアを閉めると振動が伝わってきたのが少し気になりました。

枕の高さが高すぎたので、低めのタイプも用意されていたら良かった。

Is quiet and simple.

The door lets light from the corridor in, so at night it is never really dark. One can hear everything from the other guests. Although the room is not really cheap, one needs to pay quite a lot even for a bike. In the city they can be rented for 1500 yen a day; I paid 1000 yen for 3 hours in the morning.

脱衣場の仕切りが無く、不便だった シャワーヘッドと壁のホルダーがあっていないため、角度調整が出来なかった

Super accommodating staff. Free shuttle to and from the Shinkansen station. Period British themed hotel in the historically European influenced Karuizawa alpine resort area.

調度品　インテリア雰囲気　コッツウォルズとか湖水地方を思い浮かべる素敵な空間で　お部屋も広く窓からの景色も軽井沢感あふれる木々を観ながら　非日常を楽しませて頂きました✨そして親切な学生さんのスタッフが　駅まで送迎してくださり　豪雨の中本当助かりました　フロントの方も親切で　すっかりお言葉に甘えてしまいました　たくさん有難うございました　記録にのこるHOTELの一つになりました。

周りに何もないのが少し不便でした

インテリアがどれも素敵でオーナーのこだわりを感じました。お部屋も清潔でとても使いやすく快適に過ごせました。何よりスタッフの方がとても感じの良い方で、楽しくお喋りもできて、思い出深い旅行になりました。

到着すると、かわいいスコーンとイングリッシュティーのサービスがあります。 コーヒーや桃ジュースのフリードリンクのサービスがあります。 お部屋のバスはトイレと別で独立してて良かった。

お部屋の窓にヒビが入っていました。 早朝から廊下での子どもの声で騒がしく目が覚めた。 夕食時のアルコールは高めの設定で日本製が少ない。

建物も綺麗で料理も美味しくスタッフさんの生歌も良かった

壁が薄いのか、隣の部屋や上の部屋のバタバタ音や話し声が聞こえ落ち着かないのが残念

I liked to stay in the Wellies and enjoyed my journeys for two nights. Thanks for considering our extra demands for more pillows. And my husband loved it as well. Thanks again to offering nice hotel. Maybe we will stay again.

It's hard to find the location and the road is bunpy.

スタッフの対応は充分に満足できるものだった。

部屋が狭い(予約時に納得していたことなので不満ではない)から仕方ないところもあるがツインの二人での予約であるが椅子が一脚しかなく、ティテーブルが無いのは不便だった。

イギリス風のインテリアが素敵でした。 オーナーさん、スタッフの外国人の方達、とても丁寧で親切でした。 部屋からも、小鳥のさえずりが聞こえて、癒されました。

枕が高すぎて、バスタオルをたたんで枕にしました。

夕食が美味しかった。 室内外とも静かな雰囲気で良かった。 ホテルの車で、最寄りの目的地まで送っていただいた。感謝。

La colazione stile inglese è stata molto apprezzata da me e il mio partner, molto abbondate e buona. La stanza era ampia e comoda e l’hotel arredato con cura.

清潔感があって、イギリスの一軒家みたいな オシャレだけど落ち着いた雰囲気がよかったです。

バスローブよりパジャマがあるとありがたいです。

海外に来たような非日常感に、スタッフと施設のアットホームな雰囲気。

場所的にちょっと不便。周囲にレンタサイクルも見当たらず、駅からもちょっと歩く。

It is feels like home. Comfortable, quiet, cute and charming. I had a view of Mt Asama from my room. The bed and pillows were comfy. I was well fed with good food for breakfast and dinner.

The big compressor unit that is on the balcony of my room is a bit loud during my first night there. Otherwise, this place is perfect.

Hotel Wellies was a charming hotel in British style. Even before entering the building- we could see their love of English culture. In the front entryway, gumboots, umbrellas and a phone booth. The staff was exceptional and all spoke English. They offered assistance in every instance. Our room was spacious by Japanese standards. Our beds were comfortable, the pillows were lovely. We had room to hang our clothing, the bathroom was lovely. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and were welcomed in with a cup of tea and a bite of scone. There was a little garden out the window in the restaurant. When we wanted to have an early morning walking the historic streets in Karuizawa, they arranged a taxi for us the night before.

There was no lift, and we had large bags to carry up the stairs. Thankfully- my husband is strong and able.

The decoration of the entire hotel is really fantastic.

No lift for 2nd floor rooms.

The calmness of the location, peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and professional. The room set up and decor. A quaint corner of the UK hidden in the hills of Japan.

The need to choose a time to eat breakfast. Being asked in advance what we'd like to eat is fair enough. All served too fast, please slowdown.

宿泊した、部屋は白が基調色で明るく清潔でのんびりできました。何より、照明が明るく、読書をじっくり楽しめました。レストランの窓から庭に来る野鳥が良く見え、癒されました。

スタッフの皆さんが　笑顔溢れる素敵な人たちだった事が　何よりでした

多分、宿泊客が私たちだけだったせいもあり、とても静かだった。ウェルカムティーも嬉しかったし、廊下にあったバックギャモンで遊べたのも楽しかった。スタッフの感じも良かった。食事も美味しかった。

夕食の付け合わせの野菜が固くて食べられなかったことと、便座の暖房のスイッチが入っていなかったこと、バックギャモンのボードが壊れたままだったことなどです。

Very nice hotel with a warm, homey atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, and it was great to have an English-speaking receptionist, which is especially convenient in Japan. The place actually reminded me of a cozy B&B in New Zealand. The room is comfortable, and the traditional Japanese-style bathroom is both cute and very practical.

The only small inconvenience was the breakfast timing. We had an early ski day on our second morning and hoped to have a takeaway breakfast around 6–7am, but breakfast service starts at 8:30am, so it wasn’t possible. While this is understandable, many hotels usually start breakfast around 6am, so an earlier or takeaway option would have been very helpful for guests with early plans.

晚餐的牛肉很好，房间比较大采光很好。

車で到着し、沢山の手荷物を下ろしていたら、自転車で出かけようとされていたスタッフの方が直ぐにお声をかけて くださり、フロントまで沢山の重い荷物を運んでくださいました。御用の途中と思われますが、すごく嬉しかったし プロとしての気概を感じました。Thanks!!

お部屋の洗面所の照明が真上の一か所だけであったためか、鏡に映る自分の顔が良く見えませんです。また、備えられたいたドライヤーの風力が強すぎて、ヘアーセットが困難であり、ファンの作動音も大きすぎてちょっと不快でした。

とにかくスタッフさんやフロントの素敵なオーナーかな？感じ良く、2歳の孫の面倒を夕食の時みてくれたり、優しくしてくれた。それと食事が美味しくてリーズナブルでした。

ห้องพักใหญ่สะดวกสบายมาก ห้องพักใหม่ และตกแต่งน่ารักมาก เราได้วิวเห็นภูเขาด้วยดีมากๆ ทุกอย่างในบ้านน่ารักไปหมด เห็นถึงความพิถีพิถัน มีที่จอดรถสะดวก ถ้ามาพักที่นี่ควรมีรถของตัวเองจะสะดวก ทางที่พักบริการดีมาก จองห้องอาหารให้เราได้ด้วย

อาหารเช้าธรรมดาไปนิด แต่ก็เสริฟมาได้เรียบง่าย จานชามน่ารัก ห้องทานอาหารน่ารัก

Hotel Wellies is sfeervol ingericht en biedt in de winter een fijne, knusse plek om te verblijven. De ligging van het hotel is rustig en we hebben hier heel goed geslapen. Het personeel is vriendelijk. De gratis ophaalservice vanaf station Karuizawa (waar de shinkansen aankomt) is erg praktisch. Station Nakakaruizawa ligt op loopafstand en in de buurt is ook voldoende aanbod aan restaurants op loopafstand. Let op: als je hier in de winter verblijft en vulkanisch park Onioshidashi wil bezoeken, weet dan dat de bus daar naartoe maar een paar keer per dag gaat. Je moet de tijden dus echt goed in de gaten houden. Een taxi vanaf station Nakakaruizawa naar Onishidashi kost ongeveer €40.

Het avondeten dat het hotel aanbiedt is wat aan de prijzige kant.

ホテルの中はとてもおしゃれで、暖炉やアンティーク調の家具、可愛いインテリアがたくさんあり、どこを見ても写真映えします。まるで海外の山小屋にいるような、とても居心地の良い空間でした。 スタッフの皆さまもとても親切で、到着から出発まで温かく迎えてくださいました。 特に朝食が本当に美味しく、ひとつひとつ丁寧に作られているのが伝わり、朝から幸せな気分になります。 キッズスペースもあり、子ども連れでも安心して過ごせますし、バーが併設されているので大人もゆっくり楽しめます。 軽井沢でまた泊まりたいと思える、とても素敵なホテルでした。心からおすすめです！

Without doubt, my stay at Wellies was the most comfortable and charming of all the accommodation options I experienced on my 3 week trip around Japan. Big comfy room with views to Mt Asama. The decor has been updated to modern British in contrast to the garish 1960s kitchen of the previous owner. The bathroom is functional and clean. The mirror was even tall enough for me to shave without crouching down like a hunchback. The staff was super helpful and warm with a shoutout to Isuru.

Like I said, the most comfortable stay I had in Japan by a mile.

少し料金が高めくらいです

スタッフの方がみんな優しくて、気持ちよく過ごせました。お部屋も広くてゆったりでき、お食事はボリュームもあってとても美味しかったです！見た目もおしゃれで、ちょっと高級感があって大満足でした。アクセスも便利で、自転車を借りられるのも嬉しかったです。Welliesで素敵な時間を過ごせました。また行きたいです。

Property and staff are 10/10, morning breakfast is great too.
