Placed in an accessible room overlook a very loud kitchen smoke vent so could not use the balcony at all. Advised if we could room move - as did not need accessible room (no where to put items for the bathroom - not tables and travelling with children and could not access the balcony. Was advise we couldn't as all rooms allocated despite being in early and advising we would wait.

When we were by the pool, the waitress didn’t even acknowledge us. I thought that was very rude.

$60 per day parking and not being notified about it till we got to the property. Waitresses in pool area need attitude adjustments as well as bartender at treehouse restaurant. cleanliness at pool area.

When asked for a 5th night on arrival, we were told although available it would cost double the Booking. Com Rate. We declined. Spa outrageously expensive. Room service very poor for such a hotel charging premium Rates. Management seemed ambivalent. Only appeared interested in Corporate Events.

Thank you Ariel for being such a personable server! We flew in on Wednesday and she was our server at the pool. We came back the next day and she already remembered our drink order. You can tell she enjoys being here because she has such a bright smile and really enjoys taking care of people.

We had Sabrina as our Server I just tore my ACL and my meniscus and she was so attentive and amazing and I feel like we had best experience here at the Pasea with Sabrina! first time at this hotel and I would 100% recommend it to anyone that wants a beautiful pool and perfect atmosphere!!!

My stay at Pasea Hotel & Spa was a mixed experience. The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest highlight—it’s in a wonderful spot right across from the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, making it very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but they didn’t feel particularly luxurious or memorable for the price. They were nice enough, just nothing especially special. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. I found the staff to be unfriendly and not very welcoming, which took away from the overall experience. I was also disappointed with the beach amenities. The chairs and towels provided were poor quality and not what I expected from a resort of this caliber. If you’re planning a beach day, I would definitely recommend bringing your own beach chairs and towels if possible. Overall, the fantastic location is the main reason to stay here, but there are several areas where the hotel could improve, especially customer service and the quality of its beach amenities.

Not adequatley staffed for checkin. Arrived at 9pm after a 5+ hour flight. One person at the desk. She was deep into a strangely long transaction with another guest. Apparently Union rules prevent other emplyees from checking in guests. Line formed 3 deep and the manager finally jumped in to check us in. Went to the pool at 6:00pm on our second night. No clean towels, dirty decks and stuff floating in the jaccuzi. Fine place, but I guess I'm used to staying at places that place more focus on the guest experience.

Clay was amazing with his service. He helped me and my family in all aspects. Hotel is beyond amazing as always. My family and I went to pool area, bar with music lovely. Night we sat by fire pits its was beautiful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the pool on Saturday with my girlfriend. We got a day pass and I would definitely do it again. The food was great and the service was even better - special thank you to Madison. Highly recommend

Stayed at this hotel for a weekend and was blown away by the amazing service. Madison at the pool went above and beyond during our time here. The view at the pool is unbeatable and the food and drinks are a must. Best hotel in HB.

My wife and I went for a single night stay at the Pasea to celebrate her birthday: we felt so welcomed by the staff, especially Rondi at the front desk. Very clean hotel, great view and food too!

Nice job with customer service! and, Kudos for taking care of my dog's stay as well . The bedding is very comfortable and produced a great night of rest. I was there for a tradeshow, and found it quite comfortable.

We have been staying at the Paséa for about 15 years, usually twice a year—once in January for our anniversary and again in July to escape the Las Vegas heat. We have always enjoyed staying here, which is why this visit was so disappointing. The valet attendant who greeted us Thursday evening was very friendly, but the front desk experience was the complete opposite. The young woman who checked us in had long black braids. She was curt, did not make eye contact or smile, and made us feel more like an inconvenience than valued guests. It was not a pleasant way to begin what was supposed to be a relaxing stay. We also had trouble getting into the pool area because the gate was not working properly. Several guests struggled with it while three attendants stood nearby talking among themselves. They occasionally helped someone, but once it was obvious that the gate was malfunctioning, they should have been more attentive and assisted people trying to get inside. The pool itself is very nice, but there are not enough umbrellas for the number of chairs. We were stuck sitting in direct sunlight, which made us want to leave much sooner than we had planned. We asked whether one of the unused umbrellas could be moved to give us some shade, but we were told they were reserved, even though no one was using them at the time. There were also many children throwing balls around in the pool, which made it difficult to get in, relax, and cool off comfortably. We understand that children want to have fun, but the activity should have been better managed so that all guests could enjoy the pool. We did order a few drinks, and they were good. On Sunday, we tried to use our hotel credit at the restaurant. Although the restaurant looked mostly empty, we were told there would be a 15-minute wait, which turned into more than 30 minutes. We are not sure whether they were understaffed or what the issue was. Once we were seated, our waitress was very pleasant and the food was good. Our room also had maintenance issues. Water repeatedly leaked from underneath the shower door and spread across the bathroom floor because there did not appear to be a proper seal. There was also dark discoloration between the shower and sink that looked like possible mold or water damage. It appeared to be an ongoing problem and should be inspected. The beach equipment was disappointing as well. One of the umbrellas we were given was broken and did not have the spike needed to secure it in the sand. We did not realize this until we had already reached the beach. The hotel has also replaced the reclining beach chairs with stiff, upright chairs that are uncomfortable and not suitable for relaxing by the ocean. One positive addition was the bicycle cart service we encountered while returning from the beach. The gentleman offered to take us and our beach equipment back to the hotel, which we really appreciated. It was a thoughtful and convenient service. We have loved staying at the Paséa over the years, but there were simply too many inconveniences and unpleasant experiences during this visit. Overall, this stay did not reflect the experience we have come to expect from the Paséa. Given the number of issues, we are honestly considering staying at a different property next time. We truly hope management addresses these concerns because we would like to feel confident about returning again.

Clay was amazing in accommodating our family, most importantly my wife who suffers from a physical disability. Clay was very sympathetic and assisted us promptly because my wife was in pain upon check in. Clay was very professional and overall a great person to work with. In addition, Ryan helped us bringing our luggage and getting us additional arrangements upon getting to our room ie a shower chair. Thank you so much! Great staff and friendly people!

This is NOT a family friendly hotel. This is a hotel with large same sex groups and anti social behaviour around the pool that we were just told by staff to report to security. Staff are unhelpful and Rondi just went off and hid when presented with serious customer problems. This hotel has a very loud open bar and club noise adjacent. It us on a highway with major road noise. It is a party destination, not a family destination and not suitable for a relaxing break. We did NOT feel safe here and reported this to staff, just to have Rondi walk off. Unless you are off to party as a young couple or single sex group, or enjoy being kept awake all night by loud music and drag racing bikes and cars, avoid!

Spent the day at the pool. Food and service were spectacular, weather great too! Natalie was our main attendant getting food and drinks, and she so so attentive and helpful. Such a great place to spend the day!

Horrible experience. I will never come back here again. On Sunday I checked in for one night, that same day I went down to the front desk to extend my stay and the manager Ty was helping. He extended my stay for checkout on Wednesday as I requested. On Tuesday morning I get a text that it’s time to check out. I was on my way out to a reservation I had that morning and thought it’d be good to stop by front desk because the text must be a mistake. The director KAMRYN was very rude and had horrible customer service skills. She said she doesn’t know what happened but I had to pack up my things asap and leave because they had reserved the room I was in and had nowhere to move me to.

They don't have enough towels for the swimming pool and beach

I had such a wonderful stay at the Pasea Hotel & Spa and wanted to recognize Rondi for providing exceptional customer service. She was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Every interaction with her made us feel valued, and she truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The Oceanfront Suite was absolutely stunning and offered breathtaking 180-degree views of the ocean. Waking up to that incredible scenery and watching the sunsets from our room made our stay even more special. The outstanding hospitality from the entire team made our visit truly memorable. Thank you, Rondi, and the wonderful staff at Pasea Hotel & Spa. We can’t wait to return!

We loved the man who helped us out at the front desk to upgrade our room, which was beautiful! The facilities were clean, easy access to the pool, and attendants were able to be reached for assistance.

We had a wonderful experience at the Pasea Hotel & Spa! I especially want to recognize Rondi for her outstanding customer service. From the moment we interacted with her, she was warm, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. She was professional, attentive, and always had a positive attitude. It’s employees like Rondi who make a hotel experience truly memorable. I’d also like to give a shoutout to the bellman and the bartender at the pool/restaurant, who were both incredibly kind and friendly. A special thank you to Chris, who quickly remade my drinks when they were accidentally made hot instead of iced. He took care of it right away with a smile, and they were absolutely delicious! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We can’t wait to come back!

Good location and easy access to the beach, they gave us beach chairs, towels, and a umbrella to use.

It smelled weird inside the hotel, especially in the lobby, also the ac in the room was loud.

Our 4pm guarantee check in time was NOT honored. We had to stand at the front desk to make sure to stay on top of us getting our room. The staff was not concerned. This was our hotel of choice for the past few years. Not sure if we will be staying there next year. Very expensive and rooms are the same as any other hotel - hotel is getting run down for the price you pay.

The location was perfect and the hotel room and balcony was very nice.

If the AC would’ve worked from the start in the original room we stayed in. But we did get switched rooms the next day.

It looked nice. Just not a great experience for my family.

The luggage just sat behind the check in because they had the wrong name and just didn’t bother finding out the correct one. The sofa bed is unbearable! Asked for anything to make it better and they did bring comforters but you could still feel all the springs and dipped down. We ended up changing hotels.

This hotel has the best of everything. It's across the street from the beach, has a large pool with food and drink service, a bar upstairs and downstairs, an amazing restaurant, fires at night, wine in your refrigerator and it's connected to an amazing outdoor shopping area with additional great restaurants. It's also a short walk to downtown Huntington and the pier.

Location 100% Atmosphere Amazing! Rooms were clean and comfortable! Value & Service was top notch! The pool and view was so relaxing!

The Pasea hotel is great! I'm specifically writing this review for Ariel! She is the most AMAZING server at the pool! I was there in May and in April and she made the biggest impression on my family and my friends with her bubbly personality and attentiveness. Thank you Ariel for making our trips that much more memorable 💖

I came there for a girls trip and literally had the most amazing time! Everything was so smooth and Ariel was literally the reason I would come there time and time again! She had the best customer service and the most fun personality!

Just got back from a girls trip and we had the best time. The hotel is in the perfect location. Walking distance to bars, shopping and restaurants. The pool is amazing. Be sure to ask for Ariel at the pool. Hands down the best there is. She was so nice and gave us the VIP treatment. So much that we went back to see her the next day!! My wife and I stayed here on our wedding night. Prior to arriving I asked if they could do anything special for us and all I got in return was for a fee we could do champagne and strawberries and other options, which I feel were out of line in the price point, not that I was expecting anything for free, just would have been a nice gesture to do something for newlyweds. The room had a bottle of wine, which wasn't very good, I feel they could have maybe asked what kind of wine we would prefer. The room was nice, nothing spectacular, I think was expensive for what it was, especially for the middle of the week.

Our stay was perfect! We spent an entire week there enjoying the pool, beach, restaurant and rooftop bar. Our senior bulldog was welcomed with love and smiles everywhere we took him. Our vacation was perfect!

Very nice location, great valet service, extraordinary staff were courteous and helpful. The Lōrea is exceptional. I loved sitting on the balcony in evening and feeling the ocean air even with limited view.

I very much enjoyed my time there! I liked it so much, I extended my stay! Frank at the bar was so personable and knowledgeable. He happened to work my entire stay and he was certainly a highlight to my stay. He remembered my wine order & suggested great entrees from the restaurant. We laughed like old friends. I seriously thought I was at the Four Seasons or the Fairmont Empress with the high level of customer service I received. Teresa at the front desk managed my room request for my extended stay. She insured that not only did I have the same view, it was only a few doors down from my other room for an easy transition. The room was ready first thing in the morning and she texted me to let me know. I didn't feel rushed. Our view was even better. Kyra at the pool was very attentive. I wish I could remember all the names of the excellent stay because I certainly felt like a valued guest the entire stay. Thank you! Coming again for sure!

You can’t beat the location with it being directly across the street from the beach as well as next-door to a shopping center and walkable to many restaurants and sights. The food at the hotel was excellent, hanging out at the pool was also a lovely experience. Would definitely return for meetings and/or a personal vacation

Natalie by the Pool is amazing to say the least. Gave us great service and she has such a fun bubbly personality that is so refreshing.Definitely lucky to have her working at the Paséa.

We went to Pasea! What an incredible experience. The hotel had all ocean front views, but the real gem was the pool. Our server Natalie was exceptional. She remembered us from a previous visit and couldn’t have been more engaging.

I usually stay at a neighboring hotel when I am in HB. After staying at Paséa, I won’t stay anywhere else. Rondi at the front desk is amazing and made the stay even better. Highly recommend. Thank you again Rondi.

Hotel rooms are deteriorating due to pets being allowed and furnishings that can’t withstand the ocean air and environment. Cleaning staff is not thorough and left stains and dirt in our room, twice.

The staff is extremely friendly and willing to go above and beyond for the guests. The housekeeping attendant was so thoughtful, always stocking extra coffee for me.

Rooms were very nice Sabrina at pool-side was especially helpful Made sure we were doing good. Very courteous. Plus she has a pretty smile. John

No congratulations/ special treats even we just got married and told them this is our honeymoon 5. Pool is dirty 6. The restaurant “Lorea” in the hotel is horrible. Expensive and don’t have good service. We ordered the same latte as other table but we don’t even have milk in our coffee while the other table looks like having a normal latte 7. They will text you and pretend they care about your feedback, but after you share, they don’t try to solve it. It’s a fake luxury hotel The hotel condition is probably ok if you spend $300 one night. But probably not worth it if you spent $900 a night like us and here for special occasion celebration

I paid more for an "oceanfront room" and it was as far back that I was over the parking return. While I could see the pier and the ocean, it was NOT worth the extra money. I got a room for my son without the "ocean view" and he was on the other side of the hotel but had as much of a view of the ocean as I did and it was much quieter, as I heard all the parties at night and a wedding starting in the parking lot at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday! Plus, the fridge and light were out in my room and while they brought another fridge, it had to be plugged into another place in the room.

Sabrina was awesome. She took care of her whole group. We were 12. We were there for her birthday party at the cabana and we had a phenomenal time. Thank you so much, Sabrina! We absolutely adore you.

We had a cabana for the day and we felt very taken care of. Luke was our main waiter for the day. He was polite and personable plus very attentive checking if we needed anything else and offering suggestions on food and drink items.

I was very disappointed with my experience at the Pasea Hotel. The biggest issue was the customer service. Every time I called, I felt as though I was asking for a favor rather than speaking with a hospitality professional. The staff was not accommodating, showed little interest in helping, and failed to follow through on commitments. On multiple occasions, I was told someone would call me back, but that never happened. I had to repeatedly follow up myself to get answers. Eventually, a manager had to step in to address the situation, which should not have been necessary in the first place. For a hotel at this level and price point, I expected much better communication, responsiveness, and customer care. Unfortunately, the overall experience left me frustrated and feeling undervalued as a guest. There are plenty of hotels that understand the importance of customer service and treating guests with respect. Based on my experience, I will not be returning and would not recommend this property to others.

I can't wait to stay at the Pasea Hotel again! I celebrated my 40th birthday at the Treehouse with 50 people and the service was amazing! The staff is super friendly. =)

Gorgeous property. The restaurants were very nice and the staff was friendly. Location was superb - walkable to the beach, shopping, and additional restaurants.

I'd like to start by saying Pasea hotel is absolutely GORGEOUS. The rooms were very clean and the view is to die for. I took my kids down to the pool and that's when we met Ariel! I was only asking about how to order a coke and Ariel (who was not my server or in her section) told me she would get me a coke and where was I sitting. Then Ariel continued to serve us and ask if there was anything else we needed. At one point there was some chairs right in front of the pool. I wanted to move too because my son was in the pool and still learning to swim so I wanted to be closer. Ariel went above and beyond and helped me move to the spot in front of the pool to watch my son. I know this is a long review but EXCEPTIONAL service deserves to be recognized.

My wife and I stayed there for a week due to a family bereavement. We received a handwritten card from all the front desk expressing their condolences. It was a very touching gesture. We had a family dinner at Lorea which was delicious and service was excellent. Wonderful stay as always

Highly disappointed. We paid luxury prices but received two-star service. While the staff was polite, the execution failed across all departments: Security & Housekeeping: Our balcony door was left unlocked several times after cleaning (a major risk with shared balcony walls). Face cloths and coffee were rarely replenished correctly. Dining & Room Service: Room service arrived with hair in the food. The manager credited the bill but never offered to replace the meal. We also walked out of the restaurant after being seated and completely ignored. Bar & Front Desk: We had to flag down bartenders for every drink. At checkout, the front desk agent refused to call a bellman for us, insisting we go back to our room to call from the in-room phone. Beautiful property, but the service is severely lacking and not worth the money.

We were checked in by Theresa, at the front desk. Not only was the check-in easy, efficient and seamless, Theresa was energetic and smiling. It was a great way to start our vacation, and our return to Pasea. We were assisted to our room by Miguel. He explained everything out our room, got our luggage settled and assured us that, should we need anything else, someone would be available to "make our stay memorable.". After getting situated, we went to the pool to enjoy some of the famous Southern California sunshine on this postcard perfect day. We were greeted by a pool attendant who provided towels and pointed out 2 vacant lounge chairs. Umbrella adjustments were provided by the very attentive staff. The highlight of our first day was Natalie, our server at the pool. She exceeded expectations in every way. Not only was she observant and attentive, she made suggestions that made our day even more enjoyable. As a physician, businessman, and entrepreneur, I know that it is not likely that a person of Natalie's demeanor, intelligence and quality of work, will likely stay in her current position, unless she is given the opportunity for higher advancement. I believe that she could be, with proper coaching, the general manager (and I know many) of a hotel such as Pasea. Please inform Natalie, Theresa, and Miguel of my gratitude and admiration.

We were at Pasea on Sunday and had food and drinks at the pool. The ribs and smashburger were fresh and delicious. All of the staff were friendly and engaging. Natalie had the best smile and really made our experience special! Highly recommend!

The room was clean and modern. I just wish it actually had an ocean view as I paid for an ocean view room. Instead we were staring at a roof.

I came to lorea on 5/26. David G might possibly be the best bartender I've ever had. He made my experience incredible - I am planning to set a reservation for me and my family asap.
