Azalea Homestay

Very friendly staff

There was mold on the walls in the room, as well as many insects; a lizard was living in the bathroom, and the internet connection was weak.

Amazing location, lovely host, comfortable bed, free bicyle. Overall good value!!!

I stayed here for nearly two weeks and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The owner is incredibly kind, considerate, and genuinely helpful, which made my stay especially comfortable and easy. My room was bright and spacious. It was very convenient that the lobby also serves as a coffee shop, so it was simple to grab a drink or get some work done without leaving the property. The place was consistently very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout my stay. There’s also an on-site laundry service available for a small fee, which I used a few times and found very convenient. An adorable, playful kitten lives on site and really adds to the charm, making the place feel even more warm and homey. For anyone who enjoys sports, there are both pickleball and tennis courts nearby, both about a five-minute walk away. One of the things I appreciated most is that the property is tucked away from the heavy tourist crowds of the Old Town, yet still close enough that you can walk there in about 15 minutes for restaurants and cafés. There are also two great nearby restaurants, Peanut and Mate, just about two minutes away, which are perfect when you don’t feel like going far. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Hoi An.

Our stay at Azalea Homestay was absolutely amazing! We initially booked for just three nights, but ended up extending to five. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helped us with everything. We were able to rent bikes for free and also used their transfer service, which was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and when we asked to buy a few bottles of water, they kindly gave them to us for free! The room was spotless and cleaned every two days. I highly recommend staying here!

Another very welcoming home stay in a quiet part of Hoi An with plenty of very good restaurants close by. An easy stroll into the old town for a look but it's much nicer staying in this area.

I had wonderful stay.Room was very comfortable and spacious with kettle and fridge, bathroom with strong shower, also available balcony to enjoy the street view and lovely river with palms.Location is great, supermarket near by,coffee shops and nice local restaurants.Big bonus was Bicycle to use for free,I could cycle everywhere…old town, coffee shops, rice fields and beaches with close distance, really great experience.Must mention that the host is a wonderful lady that was supporting me with everything and booking for me trips in the best prices that possible.I also received big plate of fruits that i loved and welcoming coffee.Big Thank You! Good location - easy to get to the Old Town and around the city

Very lovely place with great hosts, just a short walk away from the centre. Plenty of good restaurants in close proximity also. Room was spotless as was the hotel. The ow ers are great and very helpful. Cannot fault the place

Amazing place good location, and very friendly host

Wonderful service. It was very nice to speak to the owner. Very open and had a suggestion for every need. My showerhose was broken and they fixed it in 5 mins. You feel like part of the family

The house is beautiful and clean and full of character. The hosts Luan and her husband are very welcoming and helpful. Location is perfect, many good coffee shops and restaurants nearby. The old town is an easy walk or bike ride away. I stayed one week and can highly recommend it.

very clean and beautiful home stay. The owner is a lady with heart of gold . very kind and helping person with a lot of warmth .

Beautifully located alongside the canal. Great hospitality and warm welcome!

Nice Homestay, the owner is able to communicate well in English, rental of motorbike and bicycle are available. Overall enjoyed my stay.

I stayed several places during my almost three weeks in Hoi An and Azalea Homestay was the one that was in the nicest condition. No signs of age to the rooms or guest areas. The rooms are quite spacious, completely clean, well-kept, comfortable and with welcomed amenities. The bathroom is also spacious and set up nicely. A nice ventilation system is in place. Didn't use A/C because it was cold enough already with the weather. There was a small fridge in the room along with hairdryer and hand soap in the bathroom - all things we appreciated. Breakfast (if included) is served on the upper veranda overlooking the river. Breakfast was appreciated. Coffee with milk didn't seem to have milk. Ordered omelets both days, first day it was good, second day it was great. Water filter on property was appreciated. Bike rental is inexpensive and condition of the bikes were quite good. Location is great as it is only a 5-10 minute bike ride into the old city. It's also located right along the river. Nearby there are restaurants. Luan, the madame of the guesthouse was helpful, friendly and professional. We felt quite welcome. There were a few miscommunications regarding prices charged and extending our stay Luan was very accomodating and strived to make us very pleased guests, as she did. Overall, very nice value for what we paid.

Great place for a Hoi An Base. Lovely hosts who were available for help all the time. Great breakfast. We had laundry done too.

My daughter had recommended Azalea to us after staying here last year and we were not disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was spotlessly clean and modern, comfortable bed, good wifi and air conditioning. We were on the ground floor but we were not disturbed by any noise. Breakfast was served on the balcony upstairs and this was good quality and freshly made to order. The homestay is about a half hour walk to the old town and a half hour bike ride to the beach. You can hire bikes for a small fee. We arranged a trip through the homestay and this was added to our bill at the end as was our driver to Hue. We stayed for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Azalea homestay.

This homestay was superb and we were sad to leave. The rooms are spacious and had lots of natural light. The air-con unit is silent. There is a mini bar with prices that match any local shop you visit (10,000 for water). Daily room cleaning if you want it. Tv with good movie channels. Breakfast is eggs, baguette and a plate of various fruit with a tea or coffee and this sets you up for the day. The family also cook local breakfast which are delicious. The staff are really friendly. We cooked and eat with the family on Christmas Day which was an amazing experience and made Christmas really fun. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend to anyone.
