Our room (613) had a knob missing in the shower, the lights would not stay on when full mode was selected (informed maintenance team who said they’d look into it) so made it a little hard to enjoy dinner in the room in the evening, mirror in room was also a little dirty

The room had no air con, despite the panel having seemingly functionality, there are no vents making the room so hot and uncomfortable! My pillow also smelt like cigarettes which is gross.

Lighting in the room was poor, couldn’t see in the bathroom to do makeup, even the magnifying mirror was so badly lit it was unusable. Hairdryer provided but on an elastic cord that wasn’t long enough to actually reach a mirror. No lights in the area where you make tea and coffee and everything was black so it was hard to see. No actual light switches you did everything with a little panel but that wasn’t the easiest to find or see when trying to use the bathroom at night.

Our room was great, clean and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, quick access to the tube. The Wellbeing space was a disappointment, it wasn't clean.

The cleanliness of the wellbeing facilities and pool. The floors in the area including the floor and seats in the steam room were filthy. The steam room also wasn't hot enough so not working. I did share with the staff but nothing was done.

The room was great! The beds very comfortable, air conditioning and all mod cons. The room service was also convenient, fast and of good quality.

-We didn’t enjoy being given the wrong room with one bed, when our booking clearly said we requested two beds…. Then they wanted us to take a room with a sofa/bed and I had to insist to have what my booking stated. After that we got the appropriate room. -The system of lights and AC is so modern that it might be difficult to manage for older people. -We also had a fire alarm going off (false alarm) in the middle of the night which caused some stress and there was no staff on our floor directing us on what to do. -Every time I called the reception through the room phone, no one answered

La réservation a été faite en janvier et nous n’avons pas eu les chambres réservé car « nous nous sommes enregistré trop tard », alors qu’il nous avait bien été précisé qu’il n’y avait pas d’heure limite pour les enregistrements. Nous devions changer de chambre le lendemain mais ça n’a pas été possible. Il nous manquait les draps pour le canapé lit et nous avons dû faire de multiples demandes à la réception pour les avoir (l’excuse a été de nous dire qu’il fallait appeler le prestataire extérieur gérant le linge). Nous savons pu changer de chambre pour notre dernière nuit et nous avons pu remarquer des taches jaunes sur les coussins, les couettes et les draps … en ce qui concerne la SDB et WC c’était propre mais pas beaucoup de pression au niveau de la douche. Pour compense la gêne occasionnée il nous a été donné des bons à utiliser au bar de l’hôtel pour toutes consommations et nous avons eu le droit que à des softs.

The gentleman at reception.. offered us a free room upgrade. Wasn't expecting this so was a nice surprise.

The only thing I'd suggest would be, when ordering aperitif in the restaurant that it comes before the meal!

Tenias que reservar con antelacion. Uno de los dias ya no habia sitio, otro OK, pudimos bajar, y otro reservamos para el día siguiente, para ir a eso de las 5 de la tarde. Modificamos los planes para pasar un rato en la piscina con los niños, y llegamos al hotel a la hora reservada. La sorpresa fue que la piscina estaba cerrada todo el día por problemas técnicos Entendemos que pueda haber problemas técnicos (aunque no deja de ser una indisponibilidad de instalación que pagamos) Para nosotros, lo peor fue no ser avisados de ello. Tenían mail y teléfono, porque te lo piden en la reserva de la piscina, y no nos informaron. Habían tenido todo el día para ello. Hubiésemos cambiado los planes, y llegado mas tarde al hotel Nos quejamos, básicamente, de nos ser avisados. Lo entendieron, y para compensar, nos ofrecieron una devolución de 100 €, que seria recibida en 10 días Ha pasado mas de un mes, no contestan a nuestros mails, y no han devuelto nada Resumen, a nivel servicio cliente, muy mal. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen. Die Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist super, um die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten schnell und einfach erreichen zu können. Es ist auch in der Nacht im Normalfall sehr ruhig (Rettungsauto hört man manchmal im Einsatz). Das Zimmer ist geräumig und sauber gewesen. Wir haben den täglichen Zimmerservice in Anspruch genommen, der alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit erledigte. Wir hatten eine Kaffeemaschine und verschiedene Tee zur Auswahl und es wurden täglich die Kaffeekapseln und Trinkwasserflaschen nachgefüllt.

Leider ist die Dusche geschlossen und dadurch immer Feucht, was zur Geruchsbildung beiträgt. Es roch manchmal etwas unangenehm. Bei uns war die Duschtüre unten undicht so, dass wir Handtücher auf den Boden legen mussten.

The room was very comfortable. The location is great, very walkable and close to public transportation. The staff was generally very attentive and kind, with a special shoutout to Hamida in reception, Dennis in concierge, and Sandra in the dining room, they went the extra mile to be helpful and warm in their excellent service.

The atmosphere in the main areas of the hotel leans into the dark and moody, not my preference. The breakfast was honestly very blah, quite insipid, nothing special, nothing fresh. The coffee machines made horrible coffee, so they can be very efficient but you lose in flavor and quality. The food was mainstream, no goodies, and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH what they charge for it; there are great eateries walking distance that have extraordinary breakfast options, I would NOT purchase the breakfast option again.

Ottima la posizione servita da metro e bus proprio di fronte l’hotel. Market e ristoranti in zona. Ottima la cucina italiana del ristorante dell’albergo aperto fino alle 23.

Presenza di capelli in piscina perché non viene utilizzata la cuffia e non viene pulita a sufficienza. Su Booking c’è scritto che chiude alle 22 invece chiudeva alle 20 circa. La stanza è un po’ piccola per una famiglia di 4 persone. Gli asciugamani venivano riforniti solo per 2 persone nonostante fossimo in 4. Colazione da migliorare.

Staff was unhelpful. Sometimes in life you need some flexibility and when we requested two things they didn’t react in a way that seems helpful. They seem to be worried too much about protocol and less about their clients.

The location was convenient

The staff at this hotel was absolutely terrible. I stayed there for four nights and repeatedly asked them to clean my room and perform regular housekeeping. However, every time I returned to the hotel later at night, the room was still in the same state as when we left it. Consequently, they ended up doing housekeeping at midnight, which was incredibly inconvenient and uncomfortable for my 18-month-old child and my pregnant wife. Despite my requests for accommodations, the hotel staff did nothing to address the issue. They promised to reach out to me within 24 to 48 hours when I was leaving the hotel, but no one did.

Mieszkałem na 1 piętrze- miałem pokój od tyłu hotelu i okno była całkowicie zaklejone folią, nie ma tam żadnego widoku. Zostawuone jest tylko z 20 cm od góry szyby na światło słoneczne. Uważam że takie pokoje powinny mieć obniżoną cenę.

The room was really spacious and clean. Loved the lighting. The best part was having kids play area in the ground floor. I don’t know if it was just for summers or its permanent, but in any case, we had a lovely time.

The housekeeping was a bit slow, they missed cleaning out room somehow. But on request they did clean up. Though it was not upto the mark, but was okay for the last day.

I booked two rooms for two nights. One of the king rooms Air con was not working when we checked in. After a few hours, one engineer came and worked with the AC unit for half an hour in the bathroom ceiling. The shower was not draining properly,so for another half an hour he tried to drain the shower and said it’s fine now. I requested for a room change but he refused saying that the air con should be fine now. Next day in the afternoon, the air con stopped working again. They sent another engineer who worked with the same unit again and said it should be fine now. And that they know that there is a problem with the unit and should be replaced soon. They did not offer to change the room even then. The same night it stopped working again at 3:00 am, the third time in two days. We were drenched in sweat as there is no ventilation in the room. I went downstairs in the middle of the night and requested them to sort this out. They said unfortunately there is no other room available, so they gave me a fan. The humidity in the room was unbearable and shower drain smelled bad. I have spoken to Manesh, the reception manager and requested them to refund my money for one room which ideally should have been done there and then . Still waiting for his response. Very disappointed in the quality of rooms and the service offered.

Pool area is VERY warm to the point there didn't feel like much of a difference when entering the sauna. Very dark in the bathroom and there are no mirrors near any natural light so wasn't great for getting ready.

Great location. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the late check out at noon. We were surprised and happy to find chocolates and sparkling wine in our room on arrival. The staff were friendly. Our adult daughter stayed one night in our room and found the sofa bed comfortable for sleeping. After she left, we folded up the sofa bed and we had a spacious room.

The shower and toilet doors can’t both be closed at the same time. This is fine for a couple but with 3 people sharing a family room it’s not as good. Also it’s hard to find the bathroom light st night.

Our room had no shower door. With 2 people in one room that's a no go. We asked for a room with a shower door, which I assume in a hotel where I pay almost 1000GBP should be standard. We got a smaller room. I sent an official complaint and no one even replied to me. I thought the name Park Plaza means something but apparently just flooded bathrooms.

Fantastic location, as I was in meetings next door at the C P Hart showroom. Entrance impressive with quick check in and lovely staff. Luxurious feel to the hotel, very modern. Loved the smart lighting and tech system in the room. Food was fabulous. Staff really nice and courteous.

In room 230, where the tea and coffee area was, the socket to plug the kettle was blanked off, so you had to move everything to the desk area opposite. No big deal to be fair. The shower doors were tired and looked like they needed replacing (yellow glass let the room down… I’m in the bathroom industry and would be very happy to give you prices to replace the glass with either bronze tinted or grey tinted glass, which would really match and finish the room off to give a much more luxury feel!), please give the maintenance manager my number to contact for a quote 👍🏻😀

They gave me a room on first floor with no view and only a back wall which was very disappointing for the price I paid. I asked for it to be changed and was told to come down to reception when I came to reception the check in queue was so long that I didn’t bother.

We had a terrible experience : the room was not clean at all, hairs on the bed, dust and nails on the floor, toilet flush not working, shower gel empty and the "convertible sofa/bed" was terrible, I don't know how someone is supposed to sleep on this. Honestly we have been very disappointed. We show this situation to the staff and a deep cleaning was done and offered breakfast for the next day, but that is not saving the experience for that price. The sauna is also disappointing, old, broken and not so hot. If you are looking for a "SPA hotel" where you can enjoy those things, this is not the place.

20 GBR per person for breakfast is a bit too high, plenty of opportunities to eat cheaper near the hotel.

It was modern and the location was good.

We booked the hotel specifically because of the swimming pool and spa facilities. But despite booking an approved time slot the swimming pool was closed off due to a fault at the last minute with no information or notice. The spa facilities is supposed to have a manned reception area. There was no one there to tell us that pool was not working. We rang the main reception but the staff were very dismissive of the fact that we were not happy because we weren’t informed.

Staff at reception were very welcoming. Bed was comfortable. Loved the pool and sauna but not so keen on having to book a time slot.

Unfortunately there some things that let it down. The main one was that the bathroom door was on a slider and was impossibly heavy and not aligned - meaning there was no way one person could open it alone. We reported it (asked for a different room but not accommodated) and the engineer came very quickly - but he couldn’t fix it and said he’d come back when we were out as he needed more time. We don’t know whether he did but it wasn’t any better at all. We didn’t want to spend time in the hotel when we had our days fully planned so it meant we had the problem the whole time. There was not one time when either of us could get out of the bathroom without the others help - a real safety issue if one was alone. As it was, I had to wake my husband in the middle of the night, late at night and early morning, to get me out of the bathroom as he sleeps more than me. Other niggles were toiletries in the spa being empty despite it being only 9am and the bar already being closed when we returned from a show on Wednesday night. All things we didn’t expect , having paid extra on what we normally pay for Premier Inns whilst in London, to get a more luxurious break.

We had a great stay at Park Plaza Waterloo. The location is excellent and very central, making it easy to get around London and visit major attractions. The staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. I was also impressed by how modern and tech-savvy the hotel is. Overall, a comfortable stay in a fantastic location. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting London.

The only thing I wished the hotel had was a jacuzzi and dedicated therapy/massage rooms, which would have been perfect after a long day of walking around London. However, the steam room, sauna, and swimming pool were definitely appreciated and provided a great way to relax.

Very disappointed with the pool. Very shabby compared to the photographs. Was the main reason we booked the hotel. Couldn’t book a slot for when we wanted once we had booked in and when we did go found the pool area to be very disappointing and grubby. We had a king suite but no room to swing a cat once the sofa bed was up. Blinds also ripped.

Aircon was not working on our first night, we could not sleep properly due to the heat and our son kept waking up. Contacted hotel through their e-concierge they said they will pass it on to front desk team but no action taken during that night. Messaged again the following morning but still no action, called reception as well they said they will send someone but no one came up and we had to go and speak personally to someone at the reception regarding our concern around 11am just before we head out for the day and they said they will get their engineer to check. Swimming pool crowded, there is booking system for slot in the pool but not being observerd properly at some point there was around 20-25 people in the pool. People are just leaving used towels on the benches and not cleaning up after using. Pool needs better maintenance and clean ad visible dirt on pool edges and on the tiles on the side.

Its was dust on the furniture and pool service was unavailable on day we checked in.We booked this hotel just because of the swimming pool facility for kids but they informed that because of maintenance it is closed and we cant use that day and when in the night we were trying to go for pool area the lift was not working for that floor .

Check in exactly 3pm. Stood in queue 14.58 and said had to wait by the time I moved out of line and stood got to front of desk took around another 30 minutes. Got keys to both rooms and the room had a drain smell informed nothing wasn’t until sue the shower it was blocked and that where the drainage smell was coming from. Unfortunately would not stay back here room had mould in shower around cleaning products marks on mattress and on sofa bed pull out was dirty
