This is a beautiful hotel, located close to all that you could want to see, and you don’t have to use a bus for most of it. The staff here were all very kind, always greeting with a smile and very helpful. I do not speak Italian well, like my husband, so I am grateful they did, and I was able to be part of all conversations. Breakfast was buffet style. The fruit and pastries were fresh and delicious, and the cappuccino was perfect! Thank you to all the staff for making us feel welcome and comfortable, in your beautiful hotel.

I hate to spend time writing a negative review but this was our honeymoon. Unlike the other hotels we stayed at throughout Italy, we did not receive any type of honeymoon gift or surprise. Not that this is expected but it would have been nice. The staff were repeatedly very rude. They talked over us, acted annoyed with basic questions, etc. I requested an iron and they made me iron my clothes in the hallway. The food and coffee were just okay. I’m sure there’s better hotels.

We spent the first couple of nights of our Italy trip at Hotel Degli Artisti. It was perfect. It was tucked away on a quiet street, but yet close enough to walk to so many sites, even steps away from the Metro. The staff was wonderful and the rooftop bar was an absolute delight at the end of a busy day touring Rome. Breakfast was good! Our room was lovely. We would gladly return to this hotel in a moments notice!

I'll start off by saying not only was the hotel extremely clean and tidy but the service was even better. I would highly recommend. When we arrived from our brief stay in Venice we discovered that we had left a couple pieces of jewelry there. After many calls and messages back and forth and trying to manage the language and logistic barriers it seemed all hope of recovery was lost. We just happen to mention it to Cristine at the front desk and she took it upon herself to not only message the hotel in Venice but to make sure our packages were directly shipped to our home in the states. Needless to say I was blown away by Cristine's generosity as the pieces of jewelry are very sentimental. Also while we were there we had the pleasure of meeting a young man named Vasco. He is an engaging bartender that made us immediately feel as if we were in our neighborhood tavern back home. He was very courteous and attentive to everyone he interacted with. I'm not sure what his future ambitions are but I can assure you he would make a fantastic hospitality manager either in hotel or restaurant management if he so chooses. They are both fabulous representations of the hotel.

My husband and I have just come home from a wonderful week in this gorgeous hotel! We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in & would have been more than happy to wait but we were told straight away that our room was indeed ready & that we had very kindly been upgraded. They had noted the length of our stay and told us we would be more comfortable in a larger room. So very kind and totally appreciated! It was a beautiful, fresh, spotlessly clean room & superb bathroom with a large shower. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the addition of a sofa certainly enhanced our comfort. The breakfast served in a gorgeous room downstairs was varied and plentiful, quite delicious and the ladies serving were extremely welcoming & soon remembered our drinks order each morning! The hotel is in a wonderful location for all the amazing sites you will want to visit as well as some superb restaurants! We would like to thank all the wonderful staff at this very special hotel for making our stay so memorable and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and indeed will be planning our return soon! Special mention must go to Christina who was so kind at check in and throughout our stay providing wonderful service and always with a friendly smile!

I really do not like this hotel especially for this price

We were very disappointed - especially for the price that was valid on Easter :( Room was clean , towels very fresh but we get only 1 bath towel and we saw it at night so we did not get another. Man at the recepction wasn’t so nice and what is more make a scan of my credit Card !!!!! Where the RODO is ? Breakfast wasn’t varied , scrambbled eggs made from powder 🫣 But the worst was that the room was clastrophobic.

Should have ordered the more spacious room with a larger table. I checked before, that there is no boiler or coffee machine in a standard room, so we took our own.

Room was very nice. Great bathroom and shower. Majority of staff were great.

Breakfast mainly pre cooked and stewing in pots. Check out receptionist was not friendly, in fact almost hostile!

En este hotel no te ofrecen mas que una botella de agua y eso solo el primer día

El trato del personal del hotel y en concreto Alessandro, en la recepción fue fantástico y nos ayudó en todo. El desayuno buffet super completo, y la chica dominicana un encanto también, siempre atenta. La habitación con vistas y todo muy limpio, te cambian las toallas a diario y dejan la habitación como nueva.

Nada. Recomendaremos este hotel a amigos q quieran ver Roma e ir andando a todo, sin estar en el bullicio

L'hotel è vicinissimo alla zona di Piazza di Spagna, il personale è gentilissimo, disponibile e professionale. Siamo state benissimo.

The double bed was made by two seperate mattresses. Honestly expected more for 480 euro per night. The preakfast was limited with no variety. Rooms need to be cleaned , especialy places that hard to reach ( photo attached ). The rooms are smaller than they appear on photos. Some streets around hotel not attentive, though its close to alot of attractions. All of all as third visit to rome cant recommend this hotel for low quality price ratio.

The decor, cleanliness and comfort are only outdone by the superb staff. The location, within walking distance of three excellent restaurants, was convenient to Trevi and Spanish Steps. The desk personnel were fabulous - Gabriele, Ali, and Francesca were helpful, pleasant and friendly beyond all expectation. Dining staff, breakfast offered, were so family like providing excellent food. The bellman, Mauro, a true professional provided a welcome home feeling all the time. The rooms and common areas are excellent in their decor and comfort. If you want to be treated like family, in a beautiful hotel, by people who want to make your visit the best they can then stay here. I traveled extensively for my career and recreationally and can not identify any hotel more comfortable and professional in all aspects. BTW, my wife and our friends feel the same way, we hated to leave.

Great hotel and location.My wife and I stayed here for several days after a cruise, and I must say that it was incredible. The rooms are wonderful, the service is good, and the bar and the bartender is top notch. Breakfast is beyond what I was expecting, Don’t hesitate to book this place.

Das Hotel war Mitte November nicht beheizt. Die Zimmer hatten 18°C und das Personal hat sich nicht gekümmert und immer auf den Manager verwiesen und irgendwelche Gesetze. In meinen Augen wurde hier einfach Geld gespart. Unglaublich seine Gäste frieren zu lassen . Nie wieder und ich kann es devinitiv nicht empfehlen!!!!

A 4 star hotel with excellent service and very helpful considerate staff. Near the Spanish Steps and Borghese park and museum. Fantastic rooftop terrace with bar and hot tub and 360 degree views over Rome. Highly recommended.

Loved the rooftop terrace. The view and the peace and quiet. The rooms were very comfortable, the beds amazingly so.

The location is sort of out of the way, which can be great for people wanting something a bit off the main thoroughfares, but the walkable options from the hotel are a bit limited, especially if you have a mobility challenged person in your group - it's among some pretty steep hills either way you walk out of the hotel.

This hotel is a GEM! Family owned and run, we felt like we were part of the family! Hotel is clean, beds very comfortable, staff extremely helpful and made great dinner recommendations! Kudos to Francesca, Vasco, Alessandro, Gabrielle for making our stay memorable!!

If you are looking for a truly beautiful, friendly, and welcoming boutique Italian hotel, I would strongly recommend this family owned gem. The hotel is located in a classic Roman neighborhood just steps away from the Spanish Steps and great shopping and restaurants. The staff was exceptional and by the end of our stay, we felt like we were part of the family that owned the hotel! Thank you to Francesca, her Papa, Mama, Vasco, and the entire staff! Their hospitality and service, including local restaurant recommendations made our visit to Rome the highlight of our entire trip!

What a fantastic hotel. From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly by Christina who couldn't have been nicer. Because we were early the rooms were not ready yet which we expected but Christina got us cappuccinos and explained a place to freshen up. Within an hour a room was ready. The rooms was clean and quiet. Christina gave us some suggestions for lunch and reminded us of our reservation for dinner. One reason we chose the hotel was for the rooftop lounge/ bar with a hot tub. We only stayed on night but the breakfast buffet was great and after packing and storing our bags with Christina we laid in the sun in the lounge and waited for our transfer. We had a 3 pm pickup and when the transfer was not there by 3 Christina was right on the phone to make sure they were coming. We cannot be more appreciative of the kindness and warmness of all the staff even though our stay was short.

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. Rooms were quiet, beautiful, and clean. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was so amazing. They had an upstairs terrace outdoors that were we could relax and enjoy views of the city. The hotel was conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff were incredible. I accidently left my cell phone in a taxicab and they contacted the taxi companies and help me get to the driver that brought it back.

This hotel is a gem and is so far our best experience yet in terms of location, room quality and comfort, concern for guest needs and comfort, and very friendly staff that makes you feel like family. Thank you to Francesca as well as all those who made our stay wonderful and memorable. Rooms are very well designed for guest comfort and best amenities.

It was a brand new property. Everything was good.

Our stay was pleasant, and we even extended our stay by a day. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Gabriel, who still spoke Portuguese. We received helpful and empathetic advice from the entire staff, who recommended tours, directions, dinner reservations, and taxi reservations. The hotel is truly excellent.

The bed consists of two twin beds pushed together with one mattress a bit higher than the other.

Прекрасный отель! Отзывчивый персонал. У дочки был День Рождения во время поездки в Рим, нам любезно предоставили ваучер на 3 бокала Просекко в баре на крыше как комплимент от отеля. Расположение отличное! Всё рядом. В номере и отеле чисто, вкусные завтраки во внутреннем дворике.

Great location and super nice rooftop

The location is centrally situated in Rome, with most attractions just a 10-minute walk away. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful, and the room is clean and well-maintained.

The Hotel Degli Artisti is such a great place! My family of 4 stayed 6 days and I must say the staff made us feel like we were home! Everyone was friendly while still providing great hotel service, it did not ever feel over done. The room was clean and comfortable for 4. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and good and the morning cappuccinos were delicious. The roof top jacuzzi was refreshing after touring all day and the view of Rome was breathtaking. Last but by far the best part was the little bar on the roof deck. Our bartender Vasco absolutely made our trip, he was always happy to see us. Made us amazing drinks,some we know and some local Italian cocktails that I would not have known to try. Sitting at the bar in the evening and chatting with Vasco about life, music and Italy was the best. We laughed a lot as he so patiently and gently helped me to speak Italian better. He truly made our trip to Rome so much more than I could have expected. Vasco grazie mille!

Our travel agent booked us and our friends in this hotel and I was a little nervous after looking it up on Google Maps and was a little concerned with the location. Hotel entrance is located in the side of the building with a large rug outside the entrance, identifying the entryway . It was very unassuming, which was a little concerning to me as we have stayed in some really nice name brand properties in Rome. We walked into the hotel and it was very clean and well kept. Just around the corner was the hotel bar...I will come back to that shortly. We checked in and went to our rooms and were pleasantly surprised. Keep in mind, this is a boutique hotel and the rooms are a little smaller and were super clean / quaint. Our room had a smallish sitting room with a sofa, table and TV (which we did not turn on), but the room was great to relax, open the window and listen to the music which was being performed / played close by. The rest of the room was perfect and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. The location was perfect and all my concerns were put at ease. We could walk to most places and felt very safe. Now back to the bar. We walked in to meet our friends and were introduced to Dimitri, at first the bar tender and after our visit, we considered him a friend. I cannot say enough about this individual. He pointed us to a new handmade Italian Gin vs. my always go to gin. We tried different drinks which were made to perfection. We discussed restaurants and he gave us some great ones close by which were fantastic and the price to match, great eats, good wine at great prices. Everyone that was staying at this hotel would always stop in for a drink either before heading out for dinner or stop in for a nightcap. I would highly recommend this hotel to any traveler and stop in and say to Dimitri, what a treat.
