Absolutely beautiful, a fantastic oasis of a place, idyllic setting, with luxurious tropical garden setting. Privacy of the units, despite being so close. An epic size pool with interesting garden surrounds most appealing, clean line decor with gorgeous food prepared beautifully. I just loved staying here.

That we didn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Origin Lombok and would highly recommend this hotel. The property is beautiful and located in a very peaceful area, while still having direct access to the two-lane coastal road, making it easy to get around. One thing we particularly appreciated was how easily the hotel arranged a scooter for us within just a few hours (100k per day, including helmets). This made it very easy to explore the surrounding area. The nearby beaches, sunset spots such as Merese Hill, and of course the center of Kuta are all only about a 10-minute ride away. The food at the hotel was exceptionally delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a great variety, so there was something for everyone. We also really enjoyed the BBQ evenings, which are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at the hotel's own restaurant. You can choose your own plate from a selection of fresh fish, chicken, and vegetables, which are then freshly grilled and brought directly to your table. There is also live music during the evening, creating a really lovely and relaxed atmosphere. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay! But what truly made our stay special was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Amat welcomed us every morning with a big smile and made us feel genuinely at home. He even surprised us with a complimentary massage for two, which was such a lovely gesture. The massage salon is also highly recommended! A big thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily come back anytime!

We had a wonderful experience at origin Lombok! The service makes you feel very welcome. The pool is just amazing. And also the staff (especially Fauzan, Mia, Vira, Rahmat, Juna Amat and many more) is just amazing and so so very friendly. We highly recommend. It was a 10/10 experience;)

Tolle Atmosphäre. Sehr guter Service durch ein rundum super freundliches Personal. Die ganze Anlage ist ein sehr erholsamer Ort mit einem sehr schönen Ambiente.

Everything was perfect - boutique hotel for only a couple of guests with great facilities, SPA, rooms with terraces and direct access to the pool, live music events. The staff was amazing!! Always very kind and helpful - especially Amat and Ari, Rengga, Mia and Irika.

Some of the facilities were clearly showing signs of wear and could use some renovation. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Indonesian dishes, although it may not be the typical breakfast selection you would expect.

We had a wonderful stay at The Origin. The staff were fantastic from check-in to check-out — genuinely warm and attentive, and especially helpful with organising airport transfers and motorbike hire, which made getting around so much easier. The pool area is a real highlight — beautifully maintained and a great spot to relax. If you can, book one of the pool access suites; ours opened straight onto the pool area but still felt private and secluded. The onsite spa is well worth a visit too - excellent massage very relaxing after a day out exploring. Overall a great base for exploring Lombok. Would happily stay again.

Personeel was uitstekend, Amat zorgde er zelfs voor dat we beiden gratis een 30 min keuze massage kregen. Ons verblijf heeft hij heel fijn gemaakt. Ook Mia zorgde ervoor dat we niks tekort kwamen bij het zwembad. De locatie en voorzieningen zijn geweldig maar het personeel zorgt ervoor dat dit echt een 10/10 ervaring is.

Wir waren fünf Nächte im Origin Lombok und haben uns hier wahnsinnig wohlgefühlt. Schon bei der Ankunft beginnt das schöne Erlebnis: Auch wenn das Zimmer noch nicht bezugsfertig ist, kann man direkt am wunderschönen Pool entspannen, bekommt einen Willkommensdrink und kann einfach erst einmal ankommen. Eigentlich sind wir gar nicht die großen Pool Menschen, aber im Origin Lombok hat es uns jeden Tag wieder dorthin gezogen. Wir haben tatsächlich jeden Tag Zeit am Pool verbracht, weil es dort einfach so schön, ruhig und angenehm ist. Auch tagsüber haben wir das Essen und die Getränke am Pool sehr gerne genutzt. Die Zimmer haben uns ebenfalls besonders gut gefallen. Sie sind nicht nur schön gestaltet, sondern vor allem auch unglaublich praktisch. Es gibt sehr viel Ablagefläche und Platz, um die Koffer auszupacken und seine Sachen einfach großzügig zu verteilen. Genau das, was wir uns im Urlaub wünschen. Ein besonderes Highlight war für uns das Frühstück. Es beginnt bereits um 7 Uhr, was für uns perfekt war, da wir jeden Morgen um 8 Uhr zu unserer Surfstunde in Grupuk aufbrechen mussten. So konnten wir ganz entspannt vorher frühstücken und das tolle Buffet genießen. Dazu kam ein wirklich aufmerksamer Service. Amet hat uns jeden Morgen freundlich begrüßt, sich erkundigt, wie es uns geht, und uns immer wieder gefragt, wie uns das Essen schmeckt. Man hat gemerkt, dass ihm unser Wohlbefinden wirklich wichtig ist. Auch die Lage war für uns ideal. Da wir jeden Tag in Grupuk surfen und abends in Kuta essen waren, lag das Hotel für uns genau richtig und wir hatten nie lange Strecken. Über das Hotel konnten wir außerdem unkompliziert einen Roller mieten, den wir täglich genutzt haben, um zum Surfen und nach Kuta zu fahren. Auch die Massage im Hotel können wir sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank an Pubuk für die tolle traditionelle Massage!

Die Verfügbarkeit von einem Roller war bei Ankunft nicht so klar und mit einem kleinen hin und her verbunden, hat am Ende aber alles geklappt

We accidentally added an extra night to our reservation and later discovered that our flight was actually the next morning. Even though Booking.com did not provide a refund, Amat kindly helped us resolve the situation and removed the charge from our hotel bill. We were truly grateful for his understanding, kindness, and willingness to help. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this property and would happily stay here again. Thank you, Amat, for your outstanding hospitality and for making our honeymoon trip even more enjoyable.

Las imágenes son mejores de lo que luego nos encontramos. El día que llegamos, el mismo personal del hotel estaba haciendo mucho ruido jugando al billar en el bar que está cerca de las habitaciones. El baño olía a alcantarilla en la ducha. Teníamos una expectativa más alta de lo que luego nos encontramos. Nos dejamos unos cojines en la habitación y nadie nos avisó tampoco…

Amazing resort with a super nice pool and garden. The location was perfect to visit beaches around Kuta and we rented scooters at the hotel which was very convenient. The personnel was lovely and cheerful.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were added to a WhatsApp group where we could easily arrange massages, ask questions, report any issues, and communicate about anything else we needed. Everyone on the staff was welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. The swimming pool was also amazing, with comfortable sun loungers provided around the pool area, making it a lovely place to relax and unwind.

The rooms are in urgent need of renovation. There is a noticeable damp smell, which is also visible through peeling paint/plaster on the walls and behind the bed. The breakfast was nog great either. Although there was a buffet, the food was not particularly tasty.

Property gardens and surrounding areas are looking like they need some attention. The overall feeling is that it was well thought out but needs some revival, the buffet breakfast was extensive but an old concept.

Think it’s showing its age and needs some new thinking to keep up with the newer hotels, the pool and garden are starting to look old.

Easy 10/10. The pool is lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was consistently good rather than the usual hotel afterthought. They also offer bike rentals on site, which made exploring the area much easier. The staff are what really make the place though — every single one of them was friendly and welcoming. Amat and Asdul in particular went out of their way for us. Nothing was ever a problem. If you're staying in Kuta Lombok, book it.

طلبت من المشرفين خروج الساعه 1 ظهراً بدلاً من 11 صباحاً لاتمام صلاة الظهر ثم الخروج اصروا بالرفض مع عدم وجود مصلى في المنتجع اعتذروا بتنظيف الغرف ، من غير المنطق ان تنظيف الغرفه يستهلك 3 ساعات حيث ان نظام تسجيل الدخول في المنتجع عند الساعه 3 عصراً

Sehr liebes hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Anlage mit wunderschönem Pool, Grosse Zimmer... Alles top, man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ruhig gelegen und mit dem Scooter ist man schnell an den Stränden oder in Kuta. Die Masagen sind auch sehr zu empfehlen. Amat hat ganz toll unterstützt und war bei Fragen immer zur Stelle

Our experience at Origin Lombok was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from a friendly, smiling, and attentive team. The breakfast was truly high quality, with a great variety of choices that can even change from one day to another. As a French person, I can tell you that the croissants and pain au raisin were delicious! A real treat every morning. The swimming pool is also beautiful, with incredible decor that creates a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. You really feel like you’re in a special place where you can completely unwind. We did have a small issue during our stay, but the team was very responsive and resolved it quickly. To apologize, the hotel offered us dinner at the restaurant as well as a 30-minute massage for my partner and me. We really appreciated this gesture, and it turned into an extraordinary moment. I would especially like to thank Amat for his kindness, attention, and for helping make our stay such a wonderful experience. Thank you to the entire Origin Hotel team for this beautiful experience. The bed was quite hard and the location is a bit remote, but other than that, everything was great.

Heerlijk groot zwembad, fijne spa bij de accommodatie. Het personeel deed er alles aan om je verblijf geweldig te maken. Amat zette zeker een stapje extra om ons verblijf relaxt te maken.

De kamers zijn wat gedateerd, hier en daar zouden wat renovaties dit verblijf af maken.

We had a small issue with the hot water during our stay, but they solved it quickly and without any problem. Every time we asked for something, they were super fast and helpful. We felt very comfortable and well looked after throughout our entire stay. If we come back to Lombok, we are sure we will stay at Origin again! Die Anlage ist super schön. Man fühlt sich wie in einem kleinen Dschungelparadies. Alles sehr sauber und bis auf kleinere Gebrauchsspuren im Zimmer top gepflegt. Das Personal ist von den Gärtnern bis zum Küchenpersonal super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Amat hat einen jeden Morgen begrüßt und sich nach dem Befinden erkundigt. Absolutes Highlight ist natürlich die Pool Anlage. Die Anlage liegt mit dem Auto oder Scooter ca. 15 Minuten außerhalb von Kuta Zentrum ist dadurch aber auch Abseits des Trubels.

Das Frühstück hat trotz der großen Auswahl und Abwechslung nicht voll unseren Geschmack getroffen. Das Essen im Restaurant a la Carte war jedoch Spitze.

Werkelijk waar enorm genoten van 5 nachten verblijf hier! Personeel is zo leuk en vriendelijk, prachtig resort, kleinschalig, fantastisch gegeten. Scooters gehuurd via receptie, nul problemen, heerlijk om zo de omgeving te verkennen.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! It was honestly the best hotel we stayed at during our entire time in Indonesia. The location is great, just a 5-minute drive from the center. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and located right by the pool. Both the restaurant and the spa are exceptional. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. This was our second stay at Origin Lombok, almost 10 years after our first visit, which was during our honeymoon. This time we came back with our children and it was just as special. The hotel is beautiful, stylish, peaceful and extremely clean. We loved the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm and helpful throughout our entire stay. A special thanks to Amat, who was absolutely wonderful and made our stay even more enjoyable. We had an amazing time and would definitely love to come back again

The accommodation was really nice, especially the pool area, which was beautiful. Amat and his team were very friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. We had a great stay and felt very comfortable.

What we didn't like was that especially the toilet in the room only had a glass door, so there wasn't much privacy.

The property was so nice and clean. The swimming pool the best.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Origin Lombok. Das gesamte Team war unglaublich nett, freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders erwähnen möchten wir Amat, der uns auf die Massage aufmerksam gemacht, direkt einen Termin vereinbart hat und sich immer wieder erkundigt hat, ob es uns gut geht. Die Massage war sehr schön und entspannend. Über eine WhatsApp-Gruppe konnten wir jederzeit unkompliziert Fragen stellen, und die Fahrer waren immer zuverlässig und pünktlich organisiert. Das Hotel ist sogar vor unserer Anreise auf uns zugekommen und hat gefragt, wann wir ankommen, so konnten wir schon vor der offiziellen Zeit einchecken. Eine sehr nette Geste. Essen und Frühstück waren lecker und frisch. Unsere Garden Villa war geräumig und schön, Zimmer und Pool stets sauber. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen (die Zufahrtsstraße sollte einen nicht abschrecken), dafür hat man seine Ruhe, von der nahen Rennstrecke hört man nur ab und zu etwas. Ausflüge lassen sich einfach mit Fahrer oder Roller organisieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder! :)

Rien tout était parfait

Nous avons reçus de la part d’Amat un massages d’une demie heure pour notre famille et les massages ont été excellents. La piscine est très belle et possède de nombreuses chaises longues bien disposées.

Certains aspects de l’hôtel mériteraient d’être rafraîchis, entrée, chambres…Il faut aussi souligner que l’hôtel se trouve à côté d’un circuit automobile ou de motos et que le week-end où nous avons été le bruit était très désagréable.

Die Poollandschaft ist wirklich traumhaft, und auch der zweite, kleinere Pool ist ein absoluter Traum. * Der Weg zur Unterkunft mit dem Roller ist zwar etwas abenteuerlich, aber absolut fahrbar. * Die Zimmer sind schön, die Poolhandtücher toll und das Personal unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Es waren die bequemstem Betten auf unserer Reise. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Roller Anmietung möglich, wirklich zu super Preisen. Essen im Hotel super lecker und gute Preise.

Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat, war, dass die Poolhandtücher jeden Tag eingesammelt und gewaschen wurden. Dadurch fehlten morgens oft welche. Wir finden, dass man die Handtücher problemlos zweimal benutzen könnte – so ließe sich auch Wasser sparen. Außerdem würden wir uns wünschen, dass sich etwas mehr um die wenigen Katzen kümmert, die auf der Anlage leben – nicht nur um die mit Halsband, sondern auch um die anderen. Katzenfutter mögen sie offenbar nicht mehr besonders. Wenn sie stattdessen regelmäßig etwas vom übrig gebliebenen Buffet bekommen würden, müssten sie vielleicht auch nicht so viel betteln.

10/10 – Absolutely wonderful stay. Origin Lombok is a beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally clean resort. The rooms are stunning, comfortable and very well maintained, and the whole property is designed to make you truly relax. We stayed for two days and honestly never felt the need to leave the resort because we simply wanted to enjoy the atmosphere, the pool, the surroundings and the tranquillity. It really felt like a little paradise.
