Room was very dark including the bathroom

L'hôtel ne correspond pas au standing d'un hôtel 4 étoiles. Parfois de mauvaises odeurs provenant des canalisations, prise électrique cassée, meuble salle de bain non fixé, douche qui débordait pendant l'utilisation du grand pommeau de douche, pas de prise électrique dans la salle de bain. Nous estimons avoir payé trop cher pour ce qui était proposé.

La ubicación del hotel está bien, el desayuno es increíble y el propio hotel es una auténtica maravilla. Uno de los detalles más especiales es su restaurante, ubicado en una antigua iglesia, un espacio precioso y lleno de encanto que, además, ofrece música en directo por las noches. Una experiencia diferente y muy especial que hace que la estancia sea aún más memorable. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

Lo único que eché en falta fue poder disfrutar del sol en la piscina durante la tarde, ya que a esas horas queda completamente a la sombra.

Aan de receptie werkt vriendelijk personeel. Mooie bar. Hotel rustig gelegen buurt.

Het ontbijt was een tegenvaller. Brood was droog en leek niet altijd vers, het spek was veel te hard gebakken. Jammer dat de bar ook niet altijd vrij was door events tijdens de avond.

The hotel itself is lovely and the pool area was nice.

There was no personal service from the staff, this was the 5th hotel stay during on European trip and the only one that only demanded & accepted the tax to be in CASH and was the most expensive of all and we had to pay it for our teenage children. The bathroom bench was did not use the whole space so things could fall off the back and side. No tea or coffee making facilities.

odd location with nothing much in the area and the pool was facing a car park and the water was extremely loaded with chlorine. We chose this hotel as it was one of the few near Roma Termini (about a 20 min walk) with a pool as it was 38 degrees.

Good location, some great restaurants within walking distance, and not too far from Termini, or the nearest Metro. Hotel bar / lobby is lovely to sit and relax in. Bed was comfortable, and spacious.

Overall, the room I was in is in need of a solid refurbishment. It was a modern looking space, but too many faults and issues that made it seem dated. Leaky shower, poor air con, which suddenly became centralised by the front desk after a few nights anyway. Mini bar which wasn't refreshed each day. The main issue was coming back to my room after being out all day, to find a window had been left open by housekeeping. The room backed onto a communal area, so was easily accessible. A pretty major concern.

Personel Recepcji, śniadanie , brak darmowej wody w pokoju , maxymalnie 3 gwiazdki , żadna rewelacja. Umówiona wizyta w spa na 18 tą , zaczęła się o 18:20 , ale jak na drugi dzień podczas wymeldowania spóźniłem się 5 minut , telefon w pokoju już dzwonił . dla mnie 5/10 ocena ogólna

Die Lage war gut, das Hotel war mit U-Bahn und Bus gut erreichbar.

Wir waren zu dritt in einem Suite, 2 Erwachsene, 1 Kind. Hierfür waren zu wenig Handtücher vorhanden. Dies musste jeden Tag beanstandet werden. Schlimmer war, dass wir den Regulator für die Brause in der Dusche beim Ankommen abgebrochen vorfanden. Trotzdem wir jeden Tag um Reparatur baten - wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel - wurde dies nicht repariert. Im Klo war entweder die Spülung defekt oder es kam ununterbrochen Wasser. Dies wurde nach zweimaliger Beanstandung am 3. Tag repariert. Beim Auschecken fragten wir, ob eventuell eine kleine Erstattung o. ä. möglich wäre. Dies wurde strikt verneint.

Quite dated, carpets on the walls that I’m sure probably need a good clean, breakfast was very mediocre. Swimming pool was absolutely freezing despite it being 39° heat in the sun. The bedroom in the loft had water marks down the walls and corners of ceiling so I’m guessing they probably need a fair bit of maintenance on that roof. Air con was poor so upstairs was roasting. The double bed is round that I get as limited space but not very comfortable to sleep in. the two beds downstairs were so low to the ground and the sheets were absolutely awful thick canvas type toppers that to me would just collect all the dust as can’t imagine they are washed very often at the weight of them. The nicest thing about the room was the bathroom as that was nice and modern. I don’t expect much for a cheap 3 night stay in the city however I feel like a bit of cleaning and maintenance is required in this day and age was giving hostel vibes

The restaurant staff , service and food was excellent.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms and the rooms along with the lack of maintenance upkeep of the bathroom was disgusting. Pink and black mould, rusty taps, sewerage smell from shower and basin drain. The foyer glass automatic doors were faulty and closed on my daughter and i leaving us with bruises. I mentioned it to the staff and their care factor was zero. This is less than a four star hotel and more like a 1 star.

Le petit déjeuner est sympa et la piscine du spa aussi.

La piscine extérieure donne sur un parking et l'eau est glacial. Les pianistes au soir sont de jeunes amateurs. Je trouve ça bien pour leur expérience des jeune pianiste, mais pas super pour mes oreilles de musicien. Les cocktails dans la grande salle au soir ne sont vraiment pas terrible.

L’emplacement, le restaurant bon rapport qualité prix. La disponibilité et la bienveillance du personnel. Le hall de repos avec piano.

La douche n’était pas étanche et nous avions eut de l’eau dans toute la salle de bain.

La taille de la piscine Pas de bouilloire ni machine a café dans les chambres

La proximité avec la gare Termini et le métro Castro Pietrino. La climatisation. Le palace impressionnant. La réception 24h/24. La piscine. Le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet.

Le ménage inclus dans le prix, obligé de redescendre à la réception pour demander du papier toilette et des articles de toilette manquants . Des amis étaient logés à un étage inférieur, le ménage à été fait chez eux quotidiennement et parfaitement. Nous, le drap du lit du dessus changé une fois en une semaine mais le drap du dessous et les taies d’oreiller jamais changés. La terrasse avec un mobilier de jardin et des coussins sans housse (dans un 4 étoiles, c’est curieux). Lavabo et douche pas nettoyés, reste d’articles de toilette vides. Le bruit de la VMC toute la nuit quand on éteint la climatisation. Le petit déjeuner avec un café américano imbuvable dans des thermos, on a appris à la réception qu’on pouvait demander des vrais cafés italiens (capuccino et autres) au petit déjeuner (inclus dans le prix) mais secret bien gardé, manque de spécialités italiennes à notre goût. Deux lits doubles pour faire un grand lit, pas pratique quand les lits se séparent par le milieu. Le personnel de la réception hautain même en ayant déboursé 1300 euros pour la semaine, inacceptable ! Et pour clore le.tout, le jour du départ, à 5h du matin, demande de payer 45 euros de taxes alors que tout était déjà réglé, demande de preuve sous peine de ne pouvoir quitter l’hôtel. En bref, extrêmement déçues, même dégoûtées, rapport qualité prix zéro, arnaque totale. Heureusement qu’on a trouvé les charmes de la cité éternelle ailleurs.

Liked breakfast, the hot tub and the sunbathing deck. O my 10-15 minutes from Termini station.

Bar area itself was cramped and dark, compared to the rest of the room. The beds downstairs in the suite were hard and the room was cramped. Pool was much needed after a busy day, but small and full of kids jumping in. Location was quiet and a walk to busier areas to eat out.

Kambarys erdvus, kondicionierius puikiai vėsino, nakčiai net jį išjungdavome. Baseino ir lounge erdvė puiki, labai padėjo atsigaivinti, atgauti jėgas. Yra keletas purkštukų, krentanti srovė. Pianistas vakare pagrojo pasirinktą dainą. Apsistojome 3 naktis ir likome patenkinti, pėstute galima pasiekti Termini stotį per 15 min, o netoli viešbučio yra kelios autobusų stotelės, iš kurių pasiekėme visus suplanuotus lankyti objektus. Puiki espresso kava!

Pusryčių omletas buvo pernelyg skystas. Taip pat gobelenai ant lovų buvo išsitraukiojusiais siūlais vietomis, kas galbūt nelabai dera prie 4 žvaigždučių.

The swimming pool was a welcomed bonus as we went in height of summer. We stayed in a split level junior suite and had more than enough room for two adults and two teenage children. Beds were comfy and bathroom great size. The breakfast was basic but a decent selection of pastries, bread, fruit, cereals, cheese, ham etc. I saw another review saying they only provided filter coffee at the buffet but if you asked they brought you freshly made cappuccinos which were delicious! All in all a lovely property especially for the price we paid.

Air con could have been stronger but it is an old building so that is not easy to do. We went when temperatures were 38 degrees so it was more noticeable.

Très mauvais accueil. Carte d'entrée pour la chambre bloquée afin d'empêcher l'accès à mes enfants. Le petit dejeuner était très peu varié et tous les matins c'était la même chose qui était servi. Piscine trop petite et vetuste, donc souvent trop de personnes dans la piscine en même temps. La salle de bain devrait aussi faire l'objet de quelques rénovations

The service from the staff, the easy operation of the hotel. The pool was refreshing after a day of touring around the sights. The pillows were comfy. We had late checkout and use of the spa to shower.

Everything was excellent. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

El Ambiente relajado, la piscina exterior para los días de verano y la posibilidad de salir a conocer Roma cuando baja el sol, combinando el descanso con las caminatas nocturnas. Ideal para el verano Romano. A pocos minutos de toda la belleza que ofrece la ciudad. El personal muy cálido. Las habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas.

Mejoraría la iluminacion en los baños, ya que están hechos con paneles acristalados muy oscuros, y le quita toda luz natural, no siendo las lámparas lo suficientemente potentes para compensarla.

The whole hotel, was outstanding. The musicians were amazing I could have sat there all night listening to them play.

The freely accessible adult content on the TV. The hotel staff said its not a big deal, so it should be translated that the Building hotel is promoting child and female sex trafficking, rape and violent content.

Good hotel and swimming pool was a nice edition!

AC was set to 25 and couldn't be put lower which didn't cool down the room enough for the August weather.

The feel was nice.

The room was a little too small for three people and the pool was just too crowded and there was never available space for us to enjoy it.

Nous avons eu une première chambre où l’air climatisé ne fournissait pas assez d’air. La réceptionniste semblait dire qu’elle pouvait bloquer la force de la machine à distance. Finalement ils ont acceptés de nous changer de chambre sinon il aurait été impossible d’y dormir!

This hotel was absolutely brilliant, staff were lovely and warm and helpful - the best location for exploring Rome. The hotel and Room had all the facilities you could ask for.

The property was centrally located and close to the Metro and some fantastic restaurants. The outside pool was great in the 35 degree heat and was kept very clean. For the location and pool it was reasonably priced for Rome in July - anywhere else would’ve cost up to double.

I echo most of the reviews on here that it isn’t really a 4 star hotel. 2/3 max with a pool. Felt very outdated, the communal areas and rooms show significant signs of wear. Carpet matching the floor lined the corridor walls for some reason? The breakfast food, particularly the coffee was sub par.

Problème de chasse d’eau les 4 jours du séjours !!!!! L’eau coulait en permanence !!!! Le personnel n a pas pu réparer … Un bruit empêchant de dormir 2 nuits d affilées !!! Le personnel a regardé pour une autre chambre mais tout était plein ! J ai demandé un dédommagement, soit disant qu ils allaient voir avec le manager mais aucun retour ! Très décevant surtout que se sont les seules vacances que je m accordais avec mes enfants !!!!

Miljön var stilren, fin och avslappnad. Det var ett stort plus att det fanns en svalkande pool på baksidan mitt i juli månad.

Jag hade högre förväntningar på receptionpersonalens servicenivå. När man är på semester och bor på hotell uppskattar man att känna sig välkommen och omhändertagen, snarare än att få känslan av att ens frågor är besvärliga eller onödiga. Ett exempel var under VM-finalen, då hotellets bar stängde tidigt. Vi frågade om det fanns möjlighet att beställa något till rummet, men fick endast ett kort nej, utan någon vidare hjälp eller några alternativa förslag. Det vi saknade var viljan att hjälpa oss vidare, kanske genom att tipsa om ett ställe i närheten där vi kunde köpa något, eller rekommendera en plats där vi kunde se matchen. Det är ofta de små sakerna och det personliga bemötandet som gör skillnad och får en gäst att känna sig välkommen. För mig handlar god service inte om att alltid kunna säga ja, utan om hur man bemöter gästen även när svaret är nej. Där hade vi tyvärr förväntat oss mer.

Telewizor w ogóle nie dzialal, nie mówiąc już o smart tv. Drzwi w łazience otwierają się nie we właściwą strone, co powodowało ze trzeba było pod prysznic wchodzić przez kibel.

De medewerkers zijn echt allemaal heel vriendelijk en doen enorm hun best. Het zwembad is netjes, schoon, en heerlijk om even in af te koelen na een paar uur in de hete stad.

De bedden zijn heel slecht; je voelt de springveren door het matras steken en het bed is te kort. Er is te weinig plek in de badkamer om je toiletspullen neer te zetten, de verlichting is slecht en de glazen douchedeur knalt tegen het bidet als je de deur opent. De gordijnen zijn te smal en kunnen dus niet helemaal dicht. Het ontbijt is echt heeeel slecht; er is veel keuze, maar alles is van slechte kwaliteit. Ei uit een pak, onsmakelijk uitziende vleeswaren en kaas, oud brood, de vruchtensappen zijn gewoon limonade en mierzoet. Hier is nog nooit fruit bij in de buurt gekomen. De koffie is niet te drinken, zo vies. Toen maar een cappuccino besteld, maar die was koud. De kwaliteit is teleurstellend als je een 4-sterren hotel boekt, en dan vooral voor deze prijs. Dat klopt gewoon echt niet. Echt heel jammer, want het is een mooi pand, maar heeft gewoon echt een investering nodig. Nieuw interieur, andere indeling (waarom gebruiken ze die mooie grote lobby niet beter??), en liever minder keuze bij het ontbijt maar dan wel vers en van goede kwaliteit. Echt heel jammer, maar we komen hier niet terug. Tenzij ze me vragen als interior designer voor hun refurbishment, dan stroop ik mijn mouwen graag op ;-)

Buena ubicación. Buen Buffet de desayuno con personal del comedor atento y agradable. Buena climatización de la habitación. Piscina correcta para refrescarse.

Solo dan una llave por habitación, lo que se hace difícil al ser habitaciones triple, no respetando descanso al no tener independencia para entrar. Molestos al no pagar las tasas turísticas con cash. No reponen utensilios de baño a diario (bastoncillos, vasos…)

Only reason it got one star is I can’t give none. Rooms dated air con poor but listening to other guests who had 28 degree rooms I think we were lucky. Staff at reception and management are probably amongst the worst I have ever came across rude doesn’t even begin to describe them, arrogant and abusive probably does, watching how they dealt with customers ( some with young children in rooms that weren’t fit for purpose) was shocking. To summarise this isn’t a four star hotel (maybe 2 at a push) and if you have any issues don’t expect any assistance from the staff. My advice book somewhere else.

Just returned from 4 nights at The Building. We had a triple superior room with balcony, room was nice but a bit tired looking, nice balcony but no lights working on it so couldn’t sit out at night . Breakfast was just ok had a lot better in lower star hotels. Found staff rude and unfriendly. We had our grandchildren with us and apart from the pool which was extremely cold so only used once , there was nothing else catered for children! Would not recommend especially for the money they charge . Lots of other nice hotels in Rome .

Locatie was goed. 10 minuten wandelen van metro. Zwembad was ideaal om af te koelen in de zomermaanden. Kamers wat te donker naar mijn zin en weinig opbergruimte voor onze kleren. Ontbijt was heel goed, zeker voor Italiaanse normen. Veel keuze.

Moc ochotný personál

Na zařízení hotelu bylo vidět známky opotřebování a že je už starší. Hotel jsem vybrala hlavně kvůli bazénu který měl tak studenou vodu že jsem do něj nakonec ani nevešla. Výhled do okolí je na velkou zeď a nebo na parkoviště. Prostředí recepce vypadá jako na studentské ubytovně a na první dojem jsme se lekli kam jsme to vlastně přišli.
