Reviewed Sep 17, 2026I loved the room ,the hotel upgraded us to a suite as it was our 1st wedding anniversary ,it was beautiful ,they also left balloons and a card in the room which was a nice surprise. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.The food was very nice ,overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't thank everyone enough,we will definitely be back again

220 for 1 night was quiet expensive.(but I realise hotels in ireland are expensivein general at the moment). the bathroom is really small and the heat of the room was really hot and the window barely opened and looked directly at a roof. The lighting in our room was really poor, so drying hair and doing make up was extremely challenging..

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Das Personal war "bemüht". Ein vom Hotel selbst angebotenes "Fruits to Go" wegen früher Abreise (anstelle des inkl. Frühstücks) wurde nicht vorbereitet, so dass wir verzichten mussten.
Die beiden Fenster (Zi 113) führten zum Hinterhof, wo ein Lüfter (?) ununterbrochen geräuschvoll im Betrieb war. Ein Öffnen der Fenster bei Nacht war logischerweise nicht möglich.

Das Haus wirkt insgesamt etwas abgenutzt, ein Renovierung wäre dran. Im Bad abgeblätterte Farbe solche Sachen. Unsere Zimmer war groß aber nach hinten raus zur Haus Technik. Es brummte die ganze Nacht.

The wheelchair accessible room allocated to me was on the first floor, I had to go through 3 heavy doors to get to my room. There wasn't sufficient space in the room for a full 180 degrees. Everytime I wanted to leave the room I had to ask staff member to come and keep the doors open for me so I could get out.

Reviewed Jun 6, 2026I booked this knowing I wanted a cozy and calm place to relax after my first day of driving in Ireland and I was not disappointed. I liked the hotel and its atmosphere. My room was clean and cozy and I slept well. I included a three course dinner in my stay package (so that I wouldn’t need to leave the grounds) and the meal was excellent and the breakfast was delicious.

Reviewed May 17, 2026We just checked in and are already happy we decided to stay two nights instead of one! We ended up getting in early and knew our room wouldn’t be ready. However, the front desk staff (and room cleaning staff) was amazing, as they ended up being able to have the room ready two hours before check in. This was so amazing as my husband and I are exhausting from our 24 hour day of travel to get here! Are room is also much larger than we expected (seems they may have given us an upgrade!) Not only was the front staff amazing, but we ate at the pub. I definitely recommend going! Food and service were excellent. Overall the experience at Castle Arch Hotel exceeded our expectations and we can’t wait to spend the next few days here!
