The room was comfortable and nice, and quiet - we appreciate that. The interior of the whole hotel was lovely. The location was convenient, quiet residential area, close to public transport to the city centre.

The bathroom floor was dirty, the breakfast staff was not very motivated, and the wifi did not work. It was just two nights stay.

Located in a calm place and close to public transport station. And the staff at the reception and the bar were very friendly.

Breakfast options are limited but not bad .

Très bon séjour dans l’ensemble. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la place de parking pour mon véhicule, la proximité des transports en commun ainsi que le calme du quartier. L’hôtel est moderne et bien équipé. Une bonne expérience dans l’ensemble, avec un personnel réactif et à l’écoute.

Seul petit bémol à mon arrivée : la chambre était équipée de deux lits simples, ce que j’ai moins apprécié. J’en ai informé l’accueil le lendemain et l’équipe a été très réactive : un surmatelas double a été installé très rapidement pour améliorer notre confort

Breakfast was a bit pricey at 27euro per person per night. So we didn't opt for it.

Good location and friendly staff. Spacious and reasonably comfortable room with a large window. Good bathroom and reasonable facilities. Breakfast was good, but a bit pricey for what it was.

As mentioned above, breakfast was good but at EUR 27.50, perhaps a bit pricey - fresh orange juice would have been good. The room was spacious but the furniture was arranged a bit awkwardly - TV above sofa (!?), sockets very difficult to access (udder tables, behind bed frame). Lighting was also very dim throughout the hotel (room and public areas), not terribly good for sight-impaired people like me. A relatively minor quibble: the room safe didn't work. We reported it the first morning, and somebody (very friendly) come to try and fix it quite quickly. However, they couldn't fix it (the master code didn't work and the physical key didn't work either). They apologised and said that they would report it and try to get it sorted ASAP, but it wasn't fixed by the time we left (we stayed 3 nights).

Hôtel très bien situé pour rejoindre le centre d’Amsterdam. Un service impeccable et le restaurant est très bon. L’hôtel est calme et très accueillant !

Ideal Location to the City, easily accessible by Tram/Train. Hotel is clean, relaxing and very comfortable. Staff treat you like the most important guest staying.

My only complaint is that Car Parking charges are not included in the stay price.

The hotel was in a nice location. It was in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to buses and the metro (NS). I included breakfast which it was very nice because you had the buffet and the ability to order from a menu .

Die Lage ist verkehrsgünstig gelegen, sowohl für PKW als auch für zur nächsten Metrostation Richtung Stadtzentrum. An der schönen großen Bar mit reichhaltiger Auswahl lässt sich der Tag schön abschließen

Frühstück hatten wir optional. Der Preis für das Frühstück und die zugebuchte Tiefgarage waren der einzige Kritikpunkte.

Comfortable spacious rooms with a nice view on a canal. Could hear the birds singing, even saw a bright green parrot on my last morning. Outside the busy city center but an easy metro ride to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam.

Staff wasn't super friendly, but not a deal breaker.

Hotel V was absolutely delightful in every way. The room was a very nice size. The bed super comfy. We enjoyed having breakfast downstairs in the restaurant a few mornings & it was absolutely delicious. Everyone who worked there were welcoming & helpful in every encounter. The train & metro station were a short walk away. The neighborhood was quiet. I think I will have to make it back there some day for sure!

kamer was mooie grootte. Ontbijt was prima. Personeel was vriendelijk. Mooi warm hotel, leuk aangekleed, sfeervol. Locatie is prima en makkelijk te bereiken.

De koffie, gewone kop koffie was niet te krijgen je kreeg dan de americano. Dat is heel wat anders dan een oer hollandse bak koffie. Erg gehorig op de kamer. Verlichting was sfeervol maar voor het opmaken in de badkamer of woonkamer slecht.

Great room, wonderful staff, great hotel! We had a wonderful stay in Amsterdam. I highly recommend it!

Super établissement, très bon accueil, personnel, agréable et chambre propre

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff were keen to provide detailed answers on all my queries. Well served by a number of buses and Amstel train station in vicinity. Very quiet at night as this is a residential area.

Nearest restaurants are at least 25 min walk by the canal banks. Very pricy given its location is far from tourist hotspots.

Super tolle Lage für einen Besuch der Stadt! Fussläufig in 10 min bei der Metrostation Amstel, und von dort nur ca. 10 min bis zum Hauptbahnhof. Hotel sehr komfortabel eingerichtet, Personal freundlich.

Über das Frühstück können wir nichts sagen, das war uns zu teuer. Auch der Parkplatz war ziemlich teuer (und sehr eng).

Lovely hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and helpful.

Really spacious room, nicely furnished. Great lounge and terrace areas. Very quiet location extremely convenient to Amstel station so great for transport options.

Although the restaurant at the hotel was great, there weren’t a lot of restaurants nearby.

Sehr spezieller, toller 70er Jahre Style. Sauber, nettes Personal. Zimmer auch sehr besonders Bohemian 70er Style. Sehr ruhig gelegen, nahe Amstel-Station und Nahe an der Amstel. Fussweg ins südlichere Centrum ca. 3-4km machbar.

Sonntagfrüh um 08:30 rumpelt jemand vom Staff auf dem Flur anhaltend mit irgendwelchen Kisten und es knall ständig. Unmöglich! Nach irritierter Nachfrage was das los ist immerhin Entschuldigung und Stopp. Sorry aber echtes NO-GO!

فندق جميل ونظيف وهادئ الطاقم ودود ومتعاون وطيبين و خدومين مساحة الغرفة كبيره بعيد نوعاً ما عن ازعاج السنتر لكن قريب من محطة amstel station مترو داخل أمستردام وقطار للرحلات الطويل يبعد مسافه 10 دقايق مشي انصح فيه اذا لا تحب ازعاج وضجيج السنتر

Rooms are very small and depressing - rough concrete, bad lighting.. felt almost like a jail cell. Breakfast WAY overpriced for this kind of hotel

Heel fijn en gezellig hotel. Heerlijk ontbijt . Relaxte sfeer Lekkere cocktails en heerlijk in een bank ploffen in de lounge . Gij als je op werk trip bent .

Als ik wat kunnen vinden, is het dat de ramen niet lekker open kunnen .

Lobby Fizeau is een favoriet, makkelijk te bereiken en vanaf daar is alles prima te doen (lopend, tram, uber)

Modern eingerichtet, Frühstücksauswahl ausreichend, nettes personal. A la carte Frühstücksauswahl on top inklusive. Zimmer mit viel Platz.

Un bel hôtel, avec une décoration recherchée, tant dans les chambres, que dans les parties communes. Au rdc, situés près du bar, plein de petits coins aménagés pour se poser un moment. Excellent petit déjeuner buffet, avec en plus plats à la demande, présentés sur une carte. Belle et agréable terrasse, équipée de parasols, sur l'avant de l'hôtel. Hôtel situé 10 mn à pieds d'une station de métro, et de deux lignes de tramway. Stationnement au parking de l'hôtel, ou dans la rue de votre voiture perso, moyennant 30 euros la journée.

The hotel is located just outside the central area in a very quiet neighbourhood and just a 10 minute walk down one road to the nearby train/metro/bus station. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Fourth time I've stayed here, visiting family nearby. Reception staff so welcoming, room cool and comfortable (and very clean). Relaxed bar area too. Sadly didn't have breakfast on this occasion due to early flight.

Nice hotel, with a good restaurant. The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were a decent size.

It was very nice overall. The room was clean, equipped with almost everything we needed, and located in a calm neighborhood. A water fountain is available, and the restaurant food is very good; we enjoyed the breakfast and the bar. Staff were all kind.

Geruch im Zimmer. Sehr fleckige innere Jalousien. Einmal unaufgeräumtes Zimmer nach Room-Service, es wurden Sachen in Unordnung gebracht.

It is new and clean. The rooms are really comfortable. They are fresh and the air conditioning was perfect during the heat wave. The beds are extremely comfortable. The staff is great. The breakfast is really good. The location is also great, it is really silent, even with windows open at night. It is not in the city center but really close to public transport and easy to access by bike.

The blackouts in the room are not 100% blackout, they let light pass through them, which especially in european summer when the sun is out from really early until really late it can be a bit annoying. But the room was so comfy that I easily overcame it.

Love the aesthetic of the hotel. Had adjoining rooms with our 2 kids so space was perfect. Super comfortable beds and brilliant showers. Great food and drinks in the restaurant Easy access to central and to Johan Cruijff. Staff are really friendly. Enjoyed being out of the hustle and bustle of the central Amsterdam. Train is only a short walk away.

If you want central this is not it. But we still loved it.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel had a beautiful interior design, and everything was very clean and well maintained. We also really enjoyed the bike rental service, which was convenient and excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Spacious, excellent decoration and view. The lobby is suitable for writing, relaxing, and the staff are very friendly. The location is easily reachable by metro, and there's a supermarket at walking distance.

TV mag ietsje moderner. We waren onze firestick vergeten dus we konden niets streamen op de TV, maar er waren wel veel opties voor films en series die je kon kiezen (beetje zoals op een een vliegtuig).

Het personeel, fijne parkeerplaats en een lekere koele kamer. De bar is geweldig.

De bar was relatief vroeg gesloten vonden wij, zeker voor het weekend.
