The location

The first time I stayed it was very clean. This time around the bathrooms were stained. There was a constant sound from the ac. When asked to change the room or do something the staff was indifferent and just didn’t care.

Stayed at Hotel No.1 and had a terrible experience. The service quality is pathetic. From check-in to check-out, the staff showed no professionalism or courtesy. Basic requests were ignored.

Mixed opinions. Sanjib is a very hospitable person, really liked his service. Goes out of his way to help! It’s quite close to the US embassy so great for proximity. location is decent. Breakfast is decent. However, there are quite a few issues: - Renovation going on for the building, so it’s not as they make it seem online. it can get quite noisy - There are strange smells in the first floor and bathrooms. - Wifi can disconnect at random times - Would put it more as a 3 star than 4 star

Had a great experience staying in the hotel. Pintu Ghosh and Sukumar Das of Room Service are quite impressive in keeping the room neat and clean. Restaurant food is very good, special mention the Mushroom dry fry and chilli chicken dry

Very poor service and extremely rude behavior from the front desk female staff. I arrived with a toddler and politely requested an early check-in. I noticed that at least three rooms had already checked out, yet my request was repeatedly denied with excuses. What was most disappointing was the rude and unprofessional tone used by the female staff. This experience was highly inconvenient and far below the level of hospitality I expected.

The location is superb..in a quiet residential neighborhood. Just like a 10min walk to park. Their staff is kind and attentive. Their room service was excellent.

- It is my 3rd or 4th time at this hotel, and the first time I have payment issues. They didn't accept my Indian debit card as pre payment (which they always did in the past), so I gave my international credit card number to guarantee the room. They took the money without waiting for me to arrive and settle through my Indian account... Very disappointed!! - prices are on the higher side of the spectrum for the services provided.

My stay at the Hotel Aauris was a complete 10/10. The location is great, situated in the Park Street area, its accessible to all the good restaurants and shopping areas. The ambiance of the hotel is so calming and luxurious, and the food at their Indian restaurant “Zyqa” was just a cherry on top. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable as well.

Stayed at Hotel Aauris and had a really wonderful experience. The overall hospitality and service quality were excellent throughout the stay. The staff members are extremely humble, attentive, and professional in the way they handle every request. A special mention for Shantanu from the housekeeping team. He has been exceptionally supportive, polite, and proactive. Every request was taken care of immediately without needing repeated follow-ups, which really made the stay smooth and comfortable. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are very well maintained across the property, rooms are properly managed, and the attention to detail is clearly visible. The food was also very tasty and well prepared. Overall, a highly satisfying experience with great service and very caring staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Location was not good. Few front reception dtaff were not cooperative and rude.For one 5 Rs pack of snack kept inside room which we ate ..hotel took Rs 180/ which was unbelievable...

Sauvik is the person who managed the stay and it was nice to stay here for couple of days. Staffs were nice. Food was average.

Stayed 19–21 Jan 2026. The only positive is the location near Park Street. Beyond that, the experience was extremely disturbing. In the early hours of the morning, a severe AC failure led to heavy condensation water flooding the room floor. My wife slipped and got injured, turning our stay into a nightmare. The hotel staff admitted they could not fix the issue, and we were forced to spend the night controlling water seepage with towels and buckets. While night staff offered basic first aid, no senior management was available, and there was zero concern, follow-up, or empathy from the hotel. Even after reporting the incident, there was no courtesy call, no medical support check, and no accountability. The GM’s response later was cold and purely procedural. Due to the stress and chaos, we also left behind Prasad from Jagannath Ji. Despite requesting same-day courier assistance, the hotel failed to help, and I had to arrange everything myself. Advice to future travellers: If safety, care, and humane response during emergencies matter to you, think twice before choosing this hotel, especially when traveling with family or elderly members. Location alone cannot compensate for poor service, lack of empathy, and complete failure in crisis handling.

I stayed at Hotel Auris for 2 days. Room is spacious and good . But Early in the morning, the housekeeping staff came to our room and took a water glass, saying it belonged to Room 205. We didn’t think much of it at that time. However, during checkout, the staff told us that one glass was broken and charged us ₹118. It felt like the housekeeping staff smartly replaced a new glass with a broken one and blamed us for it. This was very disappointing and felt like cheating. We were already late for our flight, so to avoid missing it, I paid the amount even though it was unfair. Such behavior spoils the guest experience and raises serious trust issues. I would advise future guests to be careful and double-check such matters during their stay

Her technique, attention to detail, and calm approach make the entire session truly refreshing. The staff was very attentive, polite and friendly. Starting with the security, front desk & reception to the breakfast and restaurant, everyone was great. Breakfast was pretty good, with plenty of options, and the staff was always ready to support your requests. The room was comfortable, with a decent size, and comfortable bed. The room amenities are also pretty up to the standard of a good hotel.

It is not an old hotel, but you can tell that it is aging. Could be a bit more clean to be perfect. But to be honest, these are not really negative comments.

5 Star Experience! This is my 4th time here and it is just getting better…Sukumar Das has been very kind and helpful for all the housekeeping needs…please do visit
