It is a property use shared bathroom. But l cannot find any spared bathroom other than the one inside the hot bath. If the person staying in the property are not couples, they need to wait even longer until they can have a quick shower. Reviewed Jan 16, 2025What a great find! A “traditional” ryokan onsen experience in a modern building. Love the spacious room with western beds and a raised platform futon/seating area with large windows overlooking the river! There’s attached toilet with sink but no shower/bath in the room but we love showering in the onsen. There are 3 onsen rooms (2 with outdoor pool). First come first serve. Tablet in the room will let you know when they’re occupied/available. You lock the door to the onsen room so essentially you have your private onsen experienced!!! The Japanese buffet breakfast is excellent and substantial. Love the dining room- there’s a loft area as well. If you love the onsen experience, you’ll love Enokiya Ryokan. And the front desk staff are super nice!!! Note: they didn’t offer half board on the days we stayed. I’d recommend doing the half board because trying to find dinner in Yufuin can be difficult. Always ask front desk to call to make dinner reservations for you…
