Cleanliness in the bathroom and rooms.

No receptionist is available not until 7am. If you have to travel and check out early, there's no option to speak to a receptionist to get the deposit money. There should be an option to refund the deposit the night prior to the check out, especially if your flight is during wee hours or early in the morning or come up with suitable options for travellers. Need to pay extra for lockers.

Good

Strong WiFi and comfortable bed in the room. Included 2 pillows and a free towel to use. Free drinking water. Not far from some nice cafés / bars / restaurants. They allowed me to keep my suitcase stored there after checkout the next day.

Had to check myself in since my flight arrived a bit late, so there was nobody there to welcome me. Half the showers didn't work, and the one that did was just a trickle. Right by a busy street, so it can be noisy. But worst of all - I walked into the bathroom and immediately saw three HUGE cockroaches just lurking about. So I had to use the women's bathroom, where I only saw one. Eep!

It's a bit far off. But manila is big and everything is far.

Ich wurde bestohlen. Genau die Kamera zu meinem Zimmer ging natürlich nicht. Die Kamera an der Rezeption wurde gar nicht geprüft. Lage für weiße nicht zu empfehlen. Stecken alle unter einer Decke mit ihrer Korruption. Die Angestellte schloss auch immer wieder mein Zimmer auf, wenn ich es verlassen habe. Shampoo etc musste alles gesagt werden, dass es aufgefüllt werden muss.

The rooms a great. The big dorm is even better that the small due to the facilities. They clean more than once a day. The staff is friendly and the food is good and cheap. I have extended the stay for several days 🙌🏽

I like everything in Crossroads. If have the chance again to check in, I'll definitely book again. I did get separate anxiety upon checking out. Nice bread and jam. Also unli coffee and tea. 🥹🫶🏻. My duty Mandaluyong is superb because of crossroads hostel manila. Thank you!

I arrived Manila after 7pm, the staff used stickers show me how to open the door, how to find my room and bed.

no trash bin in the room, someone littered, very uncomfortable.

Great communication. I arrived late due to my flight, which meant there was no reception (they leave at 7pm), but they have a very easy self check it procedure. Beds were comfortable, and everything was clean.

The room was tiny! Luckily my bag could squeeze under the bed, but I imagine it would be super cramped if everyone had suitcases. Showers could do with an upgrade.

Affordable, clean, very accessible. Staff is accommodating.

Smooth check in /out. They have a back up process for late check in which was highly appreciated. Great value for money. Amazing and accommodating staffs and crew. Located near the main roads and 24/7 establishments.

They are unresponsive

They are completely unresponsive. I booked here because it seemed affordable and clearly indicated my late arrival time. No one replied or answered after 7 PM, leaving me stranded after already paying. I had to find another place last minute, which ruined my trip. I tried to sort it out with them, but they clearly didn’t care and just brushed me off. Terrible experience — do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else in Poblacion.

The Location, cleanliness and good smell of the room, especially the blanket and pillow. Very accommodating Staff👍

The bath towels may be too rough for the skin but smells good.

hostelden önce, manila'ya gelen kişinin benim burda ne işim olur? sorusunu kendine sorması lazım.ben koskoca başkentte herhalde bişeyler vardır diye 3 gün ayırdım, şehirde benden başka turist yoktu...ne bir kültür ne bir hayat korka korka adım attım,kaotik bir yer...ha yinede manila diyen, gezgin varsa,bu hosteli tercih edebilirler, tatlış bir yer.

Good location very close to shopping malls and mrt. Staff are friendly and interior is very cozy. Good value for the money.

There is no ac only fans in the common room so can be a bit hot if you want to be there and hang out with others or read.

The shower room is clean before but now they need to clean the shower room. They need to brush it because there is a yellow stain on the door and the walls.

Had an issue with the bed assignment. Be careful next time to avoid further issue and/or confusion with customers.

The place is near to the bus terminal and other public transportation. There are shopping malls, supermarket and coffee shops.

The neighbors play karaoke through the night

The strong Wi-Fi and deco pieces with beautiful words on them. The staff were super friendly and hospitable as well.

The breakfast is too plain, I would have loved to experience Filipino breakfast.

The air conditioner was too cold. In the dormitory room, there’s a remote controller, I guess it was AC’s. But the battery was ran out, so I wasn’t able to change the temperature.

They had a cute quiet space.

There was no real breakfast. It was just toast :( There was a girl that was coughing everywhere. I wish she wore a mask. The hostel was great, just hard when people jeopardize other people’s health for their selfishness.

Kind and accommodating staffs. Really affordable place to stay. Location was very nice. You can even have a walk late night. Near the major roads and easy transport. I was able to leave my things before the check in time and those were safe and secured. Thank you and well done team!

The photos do not reflect the reality of the place, which is much more run-down. The breakfast also does not match the photos. The bathroom taps only work if you hold them (which makes it impossible to wash both hands at the same time or make a cup shape to wash your face, for example). The common area is unbearably hot. Although not the dirtiest place in the world, it wasn’t particularly clean either (I saw cockroaches during breakfast). The guests are 90% Filipino, and I encountered some with poor manners. The sockets are loose and make chargers fall out, and they’re the only ones in all of Asia where I needed a different adapter. On top of all this, the guy at reception was really, really bad. Issues with reception: • I booked well in advance and mentioned several times that I needed a lower bunk bed. Of course, when I arrived, I didn’t get one. I insisted again but without success. • I was not given a locker key unless I specifically asked for one. • When I asked if they had a plug adapter, he told me to go buy one. After I insisted, he found one in a drawer and lent it to me for the stay. • When I asked for a place to eat, he had no suggestion. • At all 4 breakfasts, I had to ask and wait for things to be restocked. Given that the breakfast is poor (bread and jam), area is small and right next to reception, I don’t think that’s acceptable. • On one of the mornings, I asked for more jam. They said yes, but 20 minutes later, when I followed up, they told me it was past breakfast time (even though I had asked well within the schedule). All in all, it's very bad. Worst place I've stayed on my trip so far, and I don't recommend it.
